Spent one Saturday at this shopping mall and felt like I was exploring another town! There were so many wonderful things to see and eat! I honestly felt like a little kid touching and taking pics of the selection of food and products.

Google
Amazing options, low prices. We tried their bakery items, I ate my jalapeño and sausage bread before I could take a picture. Will be back to try the Duck.

Google
This has been our go-to place for buying seafood. The quality can vary quite a bit depending on the day and time of visit, sometimes the fish is fresh and of great quality, while other times it falls short. That said, it’s one of the few places around that consistently stocks fish varieties popular in Asian/South Indian cooking, which keeps us coming back. Overall, a dependable option if you’re mindful of when you shop.

Google
As many other Asians will tell you, 99 Ranch is one of the best Asian grocers around. It is packed with nearly any item you could possibly hope to need and more. I adore the massive variety of fresh produce that can be so difficult to come by elsewhere. The freshly prepared food offered at 99 Ranch also all smells and looks delicious. I can only attest to the quality of the crispy pork & taro cake, however. The pork was savory, oily, and decadent in the manner that only pork belly can deliver—with shatteringly crisp skin. The taro cake was yummy, but would definitely had been top-notch if it would have been hot. Overall, an undoubtedly fantastic grocery store that any Asian food aficionado would delight in experiencing!

Google
Big thumbs up for 99 Ranch Market! They have everything I need for Asian cuisine, from greasy meat and veggies to frozen food and all the sauces. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. While they specialize in Chinese ingredients, they also offer a great selection of Korean and Japanese options, making it a one-stop sho for all your Asian cooking needs.

Google
This place has so much to offer. We aren't local but wish we were. So many fresh veggies, meat and deli type options. We could have spent all day in there. Unfortunately we didnt bring a large enough cooler! Well worth going there. The prices were very fair. We left with a week's worth of food for $100. Very excited to start cooking. Will for sure plan better and visit again.

Google
I spend over a hundred dollars and they would not provide shopping bags? What kind of BS is that? If they are concerned about the environment, provide a recycled paper bags. Instead they try to price gouch you at the counter and sell you a plastic bags at 100 times the cost of a plastic bags. Let say I pay the ridiculous price for that plastic bags, how does that help the environment? I will not shop at the business that run by these greedy merchants and only shop at the stores that provide convenience to their customers.

Google
I’ve been to a lot of Asian grocery stores. This one is very nice. Clean air, nice floors and the food court is always busy. Very nice produce section. The live seafood is also impressive.
google avatar

Brian Q.

Yelp
Commenting for the food court, specifically the dim sum. Pretty good for takeout dim sum and ok priced. The pork shu mai was really good and juicy. The har gow was a bit overcooked I think. The chicken feet were excellent in my opinion. It was about $5 per dish which is ok. Good amount of options but the line was a bit long.

Yelp
99 Ranch Market is a fantastic place to explore new fruits and vegetables. During my recent visit, I found five different yam and sweet potato options, all of which I purchased to try. They also had golden plums, a fruit I had not seen before, along with several other types of stone fruits. Additionally, I discovered three different types of plantains. The store's wide selection makes it an excellent place to stock up on favorites or try something new. The festive atmosphere, likely due to the recent Lunar New Year, made it an enjoyable shopping experience. Additionally, 99 Ranch Market offers plenty of parking, making it convenient to shop. The Crestview location is especially appealing, as it is surrounded by many other fun stores to explore, adding to the overall shopping experience.

Yelp
I will say this and I am sad at the same time, do not, I repeat, do not buy any of the dim sum from 99 ranch market inside deli. Looks are deceiving. It is one of the worst dim sum experiences I've ever had. It's un edible so bad I think it's targeted to non humans, our furry friends would enjoy it. The food is from a box, sitting for hours, and you can taste it. The mapo tofu and the shrimp eggplant are the only 2 good dishes, everything else is garbage. The har gow, is more like hard to chew. No flavor. Shu mai is from a frozen box and heated up, no flavor. The tofu skin roll sucks, dry dry dry dry dry dry. I do like the shrimp and eggplant, very fresh eggplant and crispy shrimp. The shrimp roll was decent but too oily. I repeat I spent $44 and I feel like I have zero value here. It's un edible.

Yelp
I wouldn't know what to do with most of the ingredients and products offered at this Asian supermarket, but I'll vouch for the superior selection and freshness of their seafood. I cannot bring myself to buy live fish out of heavily filled tanks, but the prawns and salmon I prepared were at the peak of their freshness.
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
This market has a nice variety of produce, sauces, and Asian snacks! They also have self-checkout which is nice if you're only buying a few items. I came here to eat in their kitchen, which can either be dim sum or entrees where you can pick which meat and vegetables you want. I would say it has the same serving style as Panda Express but with more authentic Asian food. The prices were pretty good for the amount of food they give you- I ordered a 2-item combo for 10.99 and still had a good amount of leftovers!

Yelp
May 2024, I live an hour away and it's like a treat coming here. They have so many good food, seafood, fresh Asian veggies, bakery, and many more things. The area is surrounded with restaurants as well. Parking is tight and limited especially on the weekends

Yelp
Wow! Wish we had something like this in San Antonio. In SA we have Asian Markets, but none come close to a "super-market". They are old and a bit dingy grocery stores, with lower turn-over, and sometimes grouchy employees. I've also been to H-Mart in Seattle but it was a smaller downtown store in a basement. Would like to see how Austin H-Mart compares to 99. 99 was modern and very clean, with an amazing selection - meats, noodles, snacks, produce and freshly prepared items like bao, duck, and roast pork. Appeared to be lots of focus on Chinese products, which is generally what I'm interested in. Prices were great too - with lots of "on sale" bargains throughout the store. My only disappointment was that they didn't have the family size Huang Fei Hong Spicey Nuts, but the 110g bags were nicely priced. I was very impressed with this market as a whole. Will be back next time I'm in Austin.

Yelp
99 Ranch is an amazing Asian supermarket with great staff. I love the dine-in Asian kitchen, with authentic Chinese food in it. As you can see, my boyfriend and I love this place so much. It is so cheap and the amount of food that you get for it is spectacular. I am Chinese so you can trust me when I say it is the best and cheapest authentic Chinese food around. Even if you do not speak Mandarin, they will be able to understand and get your order, but just be warned if you do not, it may be slightly difficult to communicate across. The staff is so friendly and kind, I remember a particular moment when there was a snow storm / ice storm in Austin, and they discounted our food so much for us because they said nobody was coming in today. We got our dishes for so, so cheap. The ambiance is very nice as well. It is a clean, great grocery store that I keep coming back to. I cannot tolerate the language barrier slander in some of these reviews, I do want to mention that 99 Ranch is at heart, an Asian grocery store catering towards Asians, so you will have to be a little more accepting of that. Overall, the staff is amazing, the food is great, and the ambiance is exactly what you might expect for a grocery store. I am coming back again and again and again.
google avatar

Marissa T.

Yelp
This review is for the Asian kitchen that serves dim sum! I don't hate it, but I don't love it. Definitely gets the job done and a quick fix. The staff is intimidating if you aren't sure on what to order and their is a language barrier. I stick to the basics here, shu mai, har gow, and the steamed ribs. Maybe a few fried items if I can google and know what exactly the items are before hand.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
It's closer than HMart which is my favorite!!! But the lines are shorter and faster as well. So it's perfect for a quick little trip to pick up what I need and NOT get distracted by all the other temptations lol. Parking is a little weird and the temptation is all around OUTSIDE (other establishments)

Yelp
Visited this store to check out what foods were available. I have been eating healthier and wanted to see what I could find here since it is an Asian Store and seafood and fresh greens is what I was looking for. Market is located at a corner location in Austin where it is really easy to get to and plenty of parking. So much variety of foods, including canned items, frozen foods, an abundance of Asian foods, spices, flours, cookware, hair care, candy, and cookies. This store has fresh fish, shrimp, duck, chicken, beef, oysters, plenty of different types of tofu, including live fish, lobster, and crabs. Market also has plenty of fresh greens, peppers, herbs, and spices. If you love cooking and making authentic Asian food this place is your to go to market. Added bonuses for this market is that it has its own bakery and deli area where you can order food including dim sum. There is indoor seating to enjoy your meal. I love that the market is very clean, well organized, and easy access to bathrooms. They are well stocked up on everything. Teas, wines, and beers available for purchase. I gave it a four and not a five because I don't like how so many of the staff were out stocking foods and it was hard to get around the aisles. This could be just due to maybe the time of day I went but other than that, this place is where we will be going a lot more often. Go see for yourself.

Yelp
Entering this 99 Ranch, I was surprised how clean and organized this location was. The 99 Ranch Markets that are near me back in California were either disorderly or not as clean, so seeing the opposite of what I am so used to was a nice relief. There is a lot of products that they have here, and there is always employees stocking up items or making sure that the items are neatly organized. They have Dragonfruit here, both the red and white ones; we purchased (2) of the red Dragonfruits and when we opened them at home, it was really juicy. There is also a deli where you can purchase bbq pork and duck to name a few items, and a bakery/cafe that offers baked goods such as pastries, cakes, and drinks. One downside here is that lines tend to get long here at the checkout, either because of not enough cashiers or because customers have a lot of items to purchase.

Yelp
I made the trek up north today on the quest of a pineapple that I was told was sold here. I live south so it takes time to get here. Since it was Sunday and hot I expected it to be crowded but it wasn't too crowded but the parking lot was packed. I made my way to produce when we got there had had to look for said pineapple. Me and my daughter had to separate and there it was 3 pink pineapples. After we got what we were looking for we walked around and got some carbonated drinks. The cashier was helpful when we were paying and apparently they do bags but you have to pay. I remember years ago living near this shopping center and it was dingy and quite scary. Now it seems like a booming shopping center where after shopping you can stop by different shops and grab everything at once. I will let you know how the pink pineapple once we get it cut open though. **update: Check the pineapple before you buy it due to the fact that the one I got wasn't in the best condition. you think I would have known since I worked at a grocery store for almost 13 years.**

Yelp
The market itself is decent for an Asian grocery store with a good amount of fresh produce, super clean aisles, big parking lot, etc. Weirdly, couldn't find sriracha last time I was here. What I really enjoy here though is the bakery and the rating is mostly for the bakery. (There's a few other food options located inside 99 ranch + many more in the strip.) The bakery has the FLAKIEST croissants that are the size of my head + a variety of pastries that make mornings worth it for under $3 each. The boba here is sub-par, but very cheap in cost if you just want a quick boba pick me up while shopping. I still need to give the Vietnamese coffee a go. However, for boba, I'd recommend going to the boba place right next to the bakery instead.
google avatar

Katlyn P.

Yelp
I love that we have this market close by! We love getting some of our favorite products here and trying to things each time we come. I love the bakery! I am constantly trying something new each visit.
google avatar

Celia H.

Yelp
The parking lot here is just a big NO NO, drove 2 different cars to this plaza in the last 6 months, and got scratched on the both of the cars, if you drive a pickup truck or SUV, good luck The parking lot is just way too narrow that only the small sedan can fit comfortably. And some folks just never know how to park correctly. Not coming back lol
google avatar

Yelp
This is the closest ranch 99 to San Anton that I know of, but is a must go to spot for specialty groceries. They have live sea food, fresh meats and items that are mostly asian ingredients. Most of what they sell here you wont be able to find at normal grocery store like Walmart. If you are ever in Austin come and check this pace out!
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
A pretty decent Asian supermarket with a small bakery area and restaurants. They sell dim sum there!! The snack selections are wonderful. So many choices of Taiwanese dried fruits and plums! And the shiitake mushroom section, perfect for my homemade chicken soup! Next time I want to try out their fish balls for hot pots! The check out lines are long. Maybe it is because of the Lunar New year shopping spree.

Yelp
There are 99 Ranch Markets all over the country, and this one is similar to others I've been to before in terms of quality and price. The quality is always good, but the price is somehow also always higher than their competitors. I like that the store was very clean and didn't have any funky smell. The grocery aisles were kept neat and clearly labeled with prices. Meats and fish all looked very fresh. Produce was very organized and arranged almost seemingly by vegetables or fruits and by color. They also have a good selection of bakery items in their "food court" area, which you may only enter after paying for your groceries. This food court is definitely a lot smaller than other ones located in 99 Ranch Markets. The bakery items are decently priced to compete with 85ºC Bakery Cafe, which is also in the same plaza. But the few buns and breads I bought were a little bit stale, so I think I'll stick to 85ºC Bakery Cafe in the future for my bakery needs. Lastly, I'm not sure if there's a plastic bag shortage that I'm unaware of, but no bags were available to place your purchased items in the main part of the supermarket when checking out. However, the bakery checkout within the food court did have bags. If you're already in the area, this supermarket is convenient to grab some Asian goodies, but I'll be sticking to H-Mart for the bulk of my Asian grocery essentials.
google avatar

Kevin V.

Yelp
Amazing selection of fresh fish is my favorite part of this place. Overall they have extremely high prices so I only go there for certain items I can't find elsewhere. If I have the time, I prefer H Mart, so I'm glad they'll have a new spot nearby on Burnet soon.
google avatar

Zen M.

Yelp
I shopped at 99 Ranch in Phoenix AZ since the day they opened - and that was a LONG time ago. Also, I have shopped at the 99 Ranch in Alhambra, CA when I traveled there for weekends of GREAT Chinese food restaurants. And lastly, I have shopped at 99 Ranch in Austin for about a year now. The point is, I know what to expect. Today, I ordered a Norwegian Mackerel deep fried extra crispy (#7) and it smelled so bad that I threw the entire package in the garbage. OBVIOUSLY, they DO NOT clean their deep fryer regularly - it smelled HORRIBLE. Worst experience I have ever had at a 99 Ranch, period. The smell was sickening.
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
This review is for the Asian Kitchen only. Short version: Avoid at all costs. Long version: Like others said it is SO annoying to order food there. Maybe it is the language barrier, maybe not. They don't have name tags over the food trays. The staff is Vietnamese, and they will educate you on every item that you do not know using their super fast dialect that you will never understand. I'll never order food here. Worst experience ever. On the other hand, I have VERY positive experience with the in-store kitchen of the 99 market in Houston. It is so much better.
google avatar

Diann U.

Yelp
WHAAAA --- Ranch 99 in Austin area! So awesome. This Ranch 99 was well organized and clean. Great selections and most of the shelves were stocked!
google avatar

Kiki E.

Yelp
They have a large variety of food/snacks and wonderful, helpful service. Their pastries are soft and fresh . They have a wonderful assortment of fruits and vegetables. The mart is well organized and clean .
google avatar

Kevin Y.

Yelp
Chinese supermarket with mostly everything you would need and expect. I do recommend the whole brown chickens as they don't have the chemical smell you often get with chicken and are great for making homemade chicken soup. They also have a solid selection of Asian vegetables that you won't find in HEB or Whole Foods. On the downside it's not the greatest experience inside. Cramped and not as clean looking. Also on weekends the register may take 20 minutes on it's own with the line going back to the end of the aisle. It's because they don't open more registers even if there are lots of customers.
google avatar

J D.

Yelp
Takes a million years to check out because they usually only have 2 checkout lines open at all times. Hire more people please. Basically impossible to buy any frozen foods because they will melt before you make it to checkout. Also 1 star for bullshit covid policy. They never sanitized their cart and did not let you use your own bags. You could only buy their bags if you wanted to be able to carry your groceries out of the store, at least make your bags free like every other grocery store
google avatar

Fox E.

Yelp
Not to be confused with the 69 Ranch, which is way more fun. Well it certainly isn't our beloved 99 Ranch that we love and adore so much back in Houston and it doesn't have all those food options, but it certainly has a great boba shop with Fruitealicious in here, and when I stupidly smashed one of my drinks on the floor, they did a redo for free, and I thought that was absolutely lovely of them. Great grocery store with slightly insulting signs but overall an excellent place to come and get your grocery on.
google avatar

Van N.

Yelp
If you're familiar with 99 ranch this is definitely not what you are used to. Here 99 ranch is much much smaller, the beauty selection is definitely lacking compared to others. However, with that said it is taking a gamble in the heart of Austin. Theres is everything you need to make a home cooked meal wether if its Pho, bibimbap, dim sum or tonkotsu. Theres definitely not everything can be found here but sure beats how life was before this store arrived. Their bakery is more afforable than surroundings as well. I'm glad this store opened and had time to thrive before the pandemic. Now I can't imagine what I will do without it.
google avatar

Harrison K.

Yelp
Great Asian marketplace with fresh seafood selection, Asian produce at a good price, and other essentials like rice, sauces, dumplings, and more! We also like their affordable boba and bakery that is attached to the store!
google avatar

Bora K.

Yelp
I love to buy asian ingredients here but the service was not friendly. Ambiance is just ok compared to Hmart.
google avatar

Efftee B.

Yelp
I tried to justify driving from San Antonio to Austin for a day trip to visit a supermarket but when my travel partner walked in, he understood why. 99 Ranch has everything you can imagine and at reasonable prices.
google avatar

Edward M.

Yelp
I'm stingy about giving a 5 star rating, and no hesitation on this place. Its a large Asian market. What kinda Asian? The delicious fun, exotic adventurous kind! I'm ignorant on this, no clue. All of them? Seems like it. I'm not mocking, I'm a foody, and this is super fun. Endless foods I see in no other markets. Adventure! So exciting. No offense intended, love this/these culture(s).
google avatar

Kaitlyn R.

Yelp
There's not too many Asian grocery stores in the area, so luckily there's 99 Ranch conveniently off the 183 S Freeway. We tried the TOGO fastfood restaurant inside for the first time, and I didn't feel too bad afterwards. We ordered 2x 2 Item Combo at $7.99 each. Orange Chicken was good and had a lot of flavor. Chicken wings were also really good, not greasy at all. I would recommend both. The Bok Choy was delicious with chopped garlic. Fried rice was a little dry, and the noodles were average/plain. Could've had a little more flavor. Thankful they weren't greasy though. I did buy a watermelon (.69/lb), which you can weigh yourself to estimate how much the item will be. It weighed out just below 4 lbs, and when I got to the register it came up over 8 lbs. I was very surprised, and didn't want to buy it, but the lady was saying how delicious it was. I'm just thinking the scale in the front isn't accurate and charging people more than what the item actually is. For that reason I can't give 4-5 Stars. I feel ripped off. Anyways, we still come here for some grocery needs that you can't find at H‑E‑B, Fiesta, Walmart or any other market.
google avatar

Rain W.

Yelp
This is a nice Asian grocery store conveniently located in a little shopping strip with tons of other cool Asian stores and restaurants. This is your typical store with meat, vegetables and dry goods. I came for the desserts and was happy to see some rare KitKat flavors and other goodies. Parking can be rough and lines can be long so come at off peak hours.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Not all 99 Ranch grocery stores are alike. I wanted to make a specific soup dish for Big Bro and most California 99 Ranch stores would carry the very specific ingredients I needed for it. (I know, I shouldn't compare. I understand demographics vary everywhere.) I just assumed this particular store would have everything I needed as well, but they didn't. I did expect that and was fine with it since I knew there were other items I can use as substitute. What took me aback is that they didn't have beef liver. (WTF, HEB has it, Walmart has it - I would know because I found it there later that same day.) They had sheep and duck liver, but not beef!? I even asked the butcher and he didn't know what to say. (There was a language barrier between he and I, I'll admit.) But still an okay experience overall. Clean store. No clutter or the like. Cashier was nice. PARKING: Tons. Although it's shared with other business, it is and should never be an issue! And another plus?! They have an Asian deli. Choices include 1-3 item combos or dim sum. I liked the experience enough to be sure I'd make stops on my future visits to Austin.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
I really like this market as it is very clean and has a wide selection of ingredients that I need. I also like that there is a wide range of Vietnamese products too! Food is always delicious here if you need something quick for lunch and it is inexpensive as well. Weekends are extremely busy and there can be a line to get in as well with Covid and all. Sometimes veggies or items are out of stock but it's a pandemic right now so I am not going to fault them for having things out of stock often. I am happy shopping here as the meats are beautiful and not crazy expensive like other asian markets! 4 stars.

Joe Y.

Yelp
I have frequented many locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but this is by far the worst location. More times than not, there is only 1 person working the front registers and they are generally very untrained & sadly incapable of processing customers in a timely manner. I really do hope that this store gets it together as H-Mart is opening close by and we have NEVER had the issues there like we consistently do at this 99 location. Please, please, please get better.

Maria M.

Yelp
I don't really come here often just because I don't really know much about their food but today I came in minding my business and a seafood guy stared at me looking at me up and down mind you im Mexican I'm walking around looking at everything cause I don't know much about the food like I said . I ignore him I keep walking and I passed by the seafood again dude stares at me for a long time and he said " what " so I responded back" what, you are the one staring at me " he goes on telling me stuff I didn't understand he was speaking his language at this point.

Yelp
This is the closest large Asian grocery to central Austin without having travel to far north or far northwest Austin. It's located in the crescent shopping center off Airport and Lamar. It has a bakery and a hot food deli. There's also an independent boba shop inside. As for selection it's typical of 99 ranch market stores . As it is a Taiwanese American chain you'll find more Chinese groceries than other parts of Asia. If it's a weekend afternoons can be packed with long lines. I suggest going when they open or the late afternoon. The meat section has a good variety of fatty cuts, bones, and off cuts to make a variety of dishes. If you are looking for pork belly with skin to make that crackle you'll find it here. The seafood section has fresh fish and they will clean it and you can even get the fish cooked too. The vegetable selection is decent and they recently added a smaller organically section. As for the hot food deli - it's alright. There are some dim sum and Chinese bbq items. You can even get a plate of 2-3 items. I wouldn't say it's earth shattering but if your hungry and want something less Americanized it's a good option. I go here simply because it's the closest Asian market to me and if your looking for Asian products it's a dollar or two less than what you would get at a regular supermarket.

Yelp
So much to find and explore here if you have never been. Lots of produce, meats, fish, hot dishes, and even nice treats for you here at 99 Ranch Market. Grab a circular from the front section of the store, near the shopping carts, so you can be sure not to miss the great deals that 99 Ranch Market has to offer on a weekly basis. My favorite thing about this spot are 2 things - their bakery is the best and their hot deli is always showing off their products in the best ways! Definitely do not discount the bakery as there are some delicious and new (to me) desserts to try out for super cheap price! I also love that they have a great amount of drinks (coffee and non-coffee) options to take to-go with you as you browse the store. I get a lot of my staples for making Asian-inspired food at home as you can find every single spice, oils, sauces, salty goodness, etc here for a great price. I love reupping all of the essentials here when I am in the area. Parking is easy peasy and on the corner of Lamar and Airport - it is hard to miss it.

Yelp
I really enjoy shopping at 99 Ranch for Chinese ingredients. Very nice selection, today I went to the bakery. Beautiful bakery with incredible metal work and display cases. I got the spicy cheese dog. The baked goods here are HUGE! For the size, price is incredible. Now onto taste. The spicy cheese dog was okay. Not spicy at all, it has a sweet hint on top. There is 1 tiny Chinese hotdog sliced and baked in the dough. From the glass case behind register, I got the cappuccino cake. The decorations are okay, simple beginner, but at $3.50 for small square cheaper than bakery across the street. The cake was moist sponge cake with nice coffee flavor icing. I would recommend cakes behind counter. If you want fancy decorations go across the street.

Yelp
What else needs to be said about this amazing grocery chain? It was a frequent shopping spot for us while in Seattle and Houston, and now here in Austin. We always load up on the inexpensive vegetables and the frozen pre-sliced meats for hot pot at home. Don't forget the fish and pork balls, frozen char siu baos (bbq pork buns), fried tofu, bottled of minced garlic and ginger, and low-carb yam noodles. Grab a boba drink and dim sum items on the way out.

Yelp
This is a great market, I enjoy their bakery section. There are a lot of great deals and every type of fluffy bun that has delicious fillings imaginable. They also have a cute tea shop and some nice hot food offerings. I've gone through the entire market and would say this is still not as good of a selection as H Mart but much better than Hana world market. It's also in a shopping plaza that has a ton of other Korean/Asian stores. Very clean and everyone working there was nice!

Yelp
Love stopping here for a quick bite or to pick up some veggies. They have some dim sum too. See pics. Today was pretty busy with folks picking up duck for the holidays. This made me get a half duck to nosh on. I also got a combo smith some fried rice and some baby bokchoy. It made for a quick and tasty lunch. See pics.

Yelp
I wished there was a 99 ranch closer to New Braunfels. But anyhow this location will do! I love this market because it practically has all the asian food and products that you possibly need. Not to mention how there is always some kind of new snack or drink to try everytime you come here! It's also a convenient location to go to because there are a variety of restaurants and stores in the same plaza that you can visit. This market is clean, and everything is easy to find all the produce is in the far left, meat is in the back, and all the aisles are labeled so you can find what you are looking for. There's also a bakery, boba milk tea, and an Asian cuisine restaurant within the store which make it an even better place to shop. I love this store and will always come by here!

Yelp
I ordered some dim sum to go yesterday afternoon. I'm very disappointed at the 夫妻肺片 they sold. They intentionally mixed some kind of dry tofu in it and it's already gone bad. An older man who served over there told the lady to give me more tofu. I was wondering why he did that. Later when I tried, I realized it's already gone bad. I'm very upset by the way they sold bad food to customers that made me sick the whole day today.

Yelp
They have good products. But the praise ends there. Their response to covid has been sub-optimal at best. They say they limit the number of people inside and make you wait to get in, but there are massive lines at checkout that go all the way to the back of the store. It's super crowded. Did not feel safe or socially distanced at all, especially on weekends. Furthermore they said they have a curbside option so I ordered it a few months ago, paid a substantial fee, and then had to walk through the store to pick it up! Totally misled me as the whole point of curbside is that going inside is not necessary. Also the staff is not helpful when you are looking for an item. They just say they don't know!!

Yelp
We just moved to Austin and were looking to get some Asian groceries. I had also heard of Han Yang, which we went to after this just to check it out. We had Uwajimaya in Oregon/PNW so we wanted something comparable to that. This market has a nice little eatery area with a couple of different restaurants for prepared food (bakery, drinks, hot food), with seating next to the windows. We promptly got some food so we wouldn't shop hungry (never good), and were pretty happy with what was available. The duck bowl that we got wasn't great (it had too much bones), buy the shumai and baked items were good; enough to satiate us at least, and all for pretty cheap. The market itself isn't huge, but they lots of authentic items and unique, interesting products. We got everything we were looking for there, and checked out the store, which was nice and clean, and their fish looked pretty good. I'll probably go again to check out the sashimi grade fish to make sushi at some point. Overall, good decent sized asian market in a little strip mall with other asian stores.

Yelp
We have needed a 99 Ranch Market in Austin, and now we finally have one. Sorry MT Market, you have new competition in town. 99 Ranch is cleaner, less smelly, and has friendlier workers. The parking at 99 Ranch is awful during the weekends, so if 99 Ranch is your primary grocery store, start hoarding before the weekend. Amazingly enough 99 Ranch usually has a line for their cafeteria food. The cafeteria food is mediocre, but I can see its appeal since it's so convenient. Make sure to grab a number ticket and listen for your ticket number otherwise you'll be waiting for an eternity. Their vegetable selection is delectable. I've been to 99 Ranch so many times for their veggie selection, but I have yet to buy vegetables and realize that there's a rotton one in the bunch. Their meat selection is also so fresh, and their seafood workers are so helpful and friendly. I would recommend 99 Ranch as an Asian grocery. It has revived the long-time dead Crescent center along with Kura sushi, and they offer alternative Asian baked goods if 85° bakery isn't your cup of tea.
