The supermarket at this location is relatively new and clean compared with the location at Plano. Large selection of the Asian groceries tropical fruits, vegetables and frozen goods (seafood, hot pot ingredients, Asian desserts, bao, dumplings, etc), as well as the alive seafood and meats with the customized cut service. There are the food court, Bengong’s Tea and BF Bakery inside the supermarket. It’s very convenient and enjoyable to do the grocery shopping and get something yummy to eat/drink. Recommended to visit and enjoy the trip. Experienced the power outage for the neighborhood area on Saturday’s evening of 4/20/24. First time and really strange experience in the supermarket. I thought the Ranch 99 should have had their own diesel generators to support the whole facility for this kind of emergency. But it seemed apparently not.

I LOVE this store! If you love Asian food, this market is for you. I buy the ginger instant tea packets, hot & sour soups, fresh sushi & sashimi, fresh meat & fish, fresh fruits & veggies including yummy Bok Choy, etc. They have an amazing frozen food section as well. The fresh bakery items are wonderful, and packaged crackers, cookies, & snacks are endless....don't forget the seasoned seaweed snacks! I can spend hours there just exploring all that they offer. They have great discounts too. Oh, you can even buy "Hello Kitty" toilet paper there, too cute!!! Dont forget to grab lunch there before you begin shopping......yummy!

This 99 Ranch is always our go to shop for Asian grocery and fresh seafood items. The price is reasonable and stuffs are always in stock. The weekend is little busy. The check out lines are faster with courteous employees. There are birthday cakes available and food area also provides good menu.

Google
So glad we have one in our neighborhood. It was our go to place when we were in the Bay Area and was so pleasantly surprised to see one when we moved to Frisco. This is is so clean, organized and a nice food court too! I am sure every one can find something they like here! If you haven’t been to one, give it a try! Asian food & Produce galore, meat, seafood, dried noodles, canned food, frozen food, beer & wine. So what are you waiting for? Go, go, go….😀

Google
99 ranch has been my go to Asian grocery store in California. Here in Texas they continue to offer same/similar goods. This is my go to place whenever I need to get stuff for hotpot. Good selection of Asian snacks and drinks as well.

The parking sucks a LOT unless you go during odd hours during the weekday, but progressively even then, parking is getting challenging. I can’t imagine how it’s going to get if they build more stores in the last plot left in the plaza. The store itself is great. Good variety of Asian and international products. The seafood department is amazing and can get busy with moderate wait times but you can get your fish fried. The food court and cafe is affordable, convenient and tasty.

Google
This store has a great selection of groceries. From meats, seafood, produce and everything you need for cooking and snacking. You can also get prepackaged fresh sushi here too. There’s a food court in the store as well.

Google
Very clean and friendly staff. Was looking for a bag of Piattos, they haven't been loaded on the shelf yet, but one of their associates was kind enough to go in the back and grab me a few bags. They have all sorts of Asian goodies for cooking, snacking, baking- everything! I was surprised to find ube condensed milk, that's a new one for me. There's a bakery, a Filipino food stall (turo-turo), which wasn't open when we came. There's also a deli serving hot food, and one other food stall.

Yelp
I came in looking for kohlrabi and canned adzuki beans. I was able to buy fresh kohlrabi, and grateful for the grocery inventory I need to make the meals I prepare and cannot get in so many grocers. Store was clean and well stocked. There is a cafe style eatery attached as well. Great location, plenty of parking.

Yelp
I've been coming to 99 Ranch Market for quite some time now, and I have to say that it's a unique gem in our neighborhood. I'm glad they opened this location in Frisco a few years ago because the alternative was to drive down to Carrollton, Plano, Richardson. While it has its quirks, I keep coming back for the fantastic, albeit inconsistent, selection. One of the standout features of this store is the sensory journey it provides with unique smells and sights. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with the aromatic embrace of exotic spices and ingredients. The food court is a definite highlight, even if you're not planning to dine there. The variety of culinary options available is impressive, and it's always a fun experience to stroll through and see what's cooking. From pho, to roasted duck, to mouthwatering dumplings, the food court is a vibrant hub of activity and flavor. The produce section is consistently great and offers a wide array of unique items that you won't find in your typical grocery store. Whether it's tropical fruits or unusual vegetables, you can count on this store to keep things interesting in the kitchen. The fresh seafood and meat departments are another reason to love this place. They offer a multitude of options, and the quality is generally quite good, they've got you covered. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is the ability to find items here that are virtually impossible to track down elsewhere. The selection here can sometimes be overwhelming, but I have to appreciate the sheer number of products that they carry. The assortment of ramen, candy, Pocky, wafer sticks, jelly cups, Ramune (and other brands) soda, savory rice snacks, and much more is maybe our favorite section of the store, my child absolutely adores browsing and carefully selecting these treasures. I am specifically grateful for the wide variety of soy sauce, vinegar, spices, and sauces. Now, it's not all roses. There have been occasions when I've noticed small issues with cleanliness (especially the restrooms), which can be a bit of a downer. But these issues are usually isolated and don't overshadow the overall shopping experience. In the grand scheme of things, this market is a valuable addition to our neighborhood. It's a place where you can discover new flavors, explore different cuisines, and fill your pantry with unique finds. I'm willing to overlook the occasional hiccup for all the good this store brings. Four out of five stars, for sure.

Yelp
I just so happened to walk past this place and needed to step in! I'm happy I did! I don't know much about Korean Culture, but I liked what I saw. I do intend on shopping here quite often. They have things that Walmart or other supermarkets don't have. I had to pick up a few snacks and try these flavored sunflower seeds. I never knew these existed!!! I can't speak on the quality of their food yet, but just from the options they have... I'm happy I came across this place!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Love this store because I can make traditional Filipino food since it's hard to find some around here. I do wish they sold other Filipino items like bagoong (shrimp paste) and atchara (pickled papaya). This used to be my go-to place whenever I craved balut but they recently stopped selling them :( Also wish they offered steaming or deep frying services for the fresh seafood like they do in most of their CA branches. Still a great store to find a wide variety of Asian food ingredients that you won't find at your basic Kroger or Tom Thumb.

Yelp
Specifically went to look for moon cakes which were acquired but they were almost all out of the singles. Store was clean, product was plentiful as I walked through the aisles as they were properly stocked. Lights were a bit dim throughout the store with K-pop playing in the background. Meats and seafood looked fresh. Cashiers and most staff as still masked, one or two customers masked. I went on a Monday morning at 10:30 so it was not really packed at all which was nice to be able to walk the isles without being rushed. I can imagine though it being full on a weekend or even later in the afternoon. The moon cakes are the E&S brand. They feel heavy/have some weight to them. Onion Wintermelon was VERY onion forward. The outer-bread pet was actually nice and soft but it's getting a 0/5 for me. The smell was so strong I couldn't do more than my 2-bite test :/ Mung Bean was underwhelming. Not strongly flavored at all. Muted bean taste with a mild sweet undertone. The outer cake was dry, thin and flaky. I could finish it with some water on hand. 3/5 Ube Cake was 4.5/5. The strongest contender. Unique flavor actually getting that yam and not too sweet. Easy to work through since they were smaller. Outer bread was a nice consistency, not dry at all.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting a Ranch Market to be one of the largest Asian markets I've been to in Texas! This place is really fantastic- it seems to focus most on Korean and Chinese stuff. They have the deepest selection of K-Pop candy and sodas I've ever seen! They sell big boxes of sweets in different varieties that I've never seen before, whose various qualities seem lost on me. They have so many different noodles it's quite amazing. I was unimpressed with the alcohol selection. They had only a small handful of beers from overseas. The food court area seems like it's either not ready yet, or just not rolling yet. They didn't have many options for the food court when I went. The produce seems to be pretty fresh! They had some odd produce that I'm not familiar with, which is cool! The stuff looked better than Kroger.

Tony T.

Yelp
Always plenty of sale around and mark down items. Great location. Close to everything. Food court inside has a nice selection of dim sum.

Khadijah G.

Yelp
This is the most RACIST business I have ever been too. Immediately as me and my husband walked in we were discriminated against. We were given horrible attitudes when asking for help, and when it was time to check out we were watched and an employee rudely snatched items and checked out our items herself. I will never come back to this place ever again. Teach your employees to have RESPECT and stop being so racist!! If I could give it negative stars I ABSOLUTELY would!!!!!

Edgar A.

Yelp
One thing I've notice at 99 Ranch at Preston is that most of their leafy vegetables are no longer fresh and looks getting ready to wilt. Yes

Wayne L.

Yelp
Excellent Asian shopping center! I feel that it is bigger than other 99 Ranch Markets both inside and outside. It seems that it always has lots of cars in parking lot so that I have to park further. You can see that more stores and restaurants have been opened to across streets which means that no more open store spaces being available. It deserves more than 5 stars. During weekend, I came to here to enjoy asian foods, then drive to near-by Stonebriar mall to get a couple of 50% discount coffee in Capital one cafe with capital one card. ( It is located downstairs closer to Banana Republic ). Sometimes, I go to Barnes and Noble to read books and get drinks, then try to do some shopping. What a wonderful weekend!

Yelp
Ranch 99 is Taiwanese-American supermarket chain. I generally avoid businesses that are owned and operated by China Chinese, simply concern with the safety standards of products From China. The products here have more no China options. Food court are decent and clean.

Limmy T.

Yelp
In May 2021, I visited this store and was shock how clean the store was. I've been to many large Asian stores all over US and this was the one of the cleanest store I have ever been in. The restroom and food court area was exceptional clean. Today, it's like a completely different store. The men's restroom is a disaster and the food court and the store can use a good clean up. You can tell management cut corners on cleanliness.

L H.

Yelp
We moved here from another part of Texas that did not have any Asian markets but prior to that, we lived in CA for over 40 years. I was so happy to see a familiar store. I love this location and have been shopping here for months. Today, I bought the fresh masago eggs from the seafood area and when I ate it, there was a lot of plastic mixed in there. I don't know how it got in there but it was all mixed in so there was no way to remove it. I wasn't sure what it was at first but I kept chewing and it was no dissipating. My husband finally said there's plastic mixed in. Accidental probably but so disgusting. I will not buy any seafood from here again. I hope that Management looks into this.

Yelp
Stores is very clean and super helpful staff, large mix of health care, snacks, and different crane machines and figures

Rhonda G.

Yelp
This grocery store is a gem with a hometown feel in the heart of the metroplex. Great local beer and wine selection, fresh tortillas and so much more. This is the perfect place to shop for two empty nesters.

Christina M.

Yelp
Nice staff, fresh produce and a great selection of fruits, vegetables and meats. I really only can eat Asian food all the time and it's great being able to shop and get everything I need here!

Joseph L.

Yelp
04/02/22- MY Saturday It has pretty much what we need to buy in order ti cook our own Traditional Food. Thank you Ranch Market!!!

Lourdes M.

Yelp
Why everything in Texas is BIG? Coming from NY , everything we see in Texas is big and this Asian market is not an exception. I think our host is trying to impress us so we could give a thought of moving here. The store is super clean . I heard it is newly opened. Lots of options are available and there are sufficient stocks on each aisle covering mostly Japanese , Korean , Filipino , Chinese, Indian etc basics. What's more thrilling are the numerous Asian dining stalls inside the building. Overwhelming experience. Never been to one place that has everything I have wanted. The pricing is super affordable comparably from where we come from. A recommended market to go to.

Jin C.

Yelp
This is the cleanest Asian Market that I have ever been to. I get it, since it is relatively new, but I guess I am lucky that I live close to it. The produce is fresh and they carry many, many items (such as produce) that are fresher and cheaper than American markets. The one item that I recommend is the picture I uploaded (the brown sugar boba ice cream bar). I have not seen this item in any other market, so you can definitely thank me for this find! :) I also recommend their Beef Tendon side dish as well! Pros of this market: - Clean - Many items - Cheap, fresh Produce - Great side dishes - Really Good Food Court - Beard Papa's is located here - Many restaurants and dessert cafes surround this place - Location Cons of this market: - Food Court does not sell alcohol (and you cannot bring it in). - Small alcohol section - Like with most Asian markets, it will be hard to find help. Overall, this is a great place to shop for food and many other items. I come here time and time again. Get the Boba Ice Cream, especially if you are a fan of coffee type flavors!

April V.

Yelp
Clean market opened up in Frisco. A variety of Asian groceries. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a Bakery inside that bakes fresh bread and pastries everyday. A few restaurants with food courts on the inside. I love how the seafood is kept behind the glass and the area is clean and not smelly. Lots of meat and fish to choose from. So happy I do not have to drive far anymore to get fresh seafood.

Yelp
This location seems to have challenges keeping certain groceries in stocked. I do find myself wishing I went to the Carrollton or Plano locations whenever something doesn't get checked off my list. Also, the hot foods counter doesn't usually doesn't carry Filipino items, likely due to the neighboring Filipino restaurant in the food court.

Lara H.

Yelp
I shopped this store when visiting my friend in Plano in October. I like the fact that store is clean and has different types of products that we were looking for the spring rolls that I planned to make for my friend. The check out clerk was so helpful. He stepped out of his spot to interpret for us the question that we had for another employee that did not speak English! The only gripe that I had was that they only had one brand of rice wrappers, but it turned out it was a very good one! Thanks 99 Ranch Market!!

Dillon L.

Yelp
The Asian invasion is happening lol. Here comes another asian shopping center from the equation of success: 99 Ranch, 85, Daiso, Kung Fu Tea, Rice Chicken, and others. I'm not complaining though, glad to have these options close so I don't have to drive so far out. In regards to 99, the store is clean and modern as you would expect. Compared to the 99 in Plano this location is a bit smaller, so their selection might be less. Some things I would usually want to buy are available but only in the smaller sizes. But you should still be able to do your normal grocery shopping here. As of Jan 2019, the food court is still in process save for the Asian kitchen with their Chinese bbq, dim sum, and combo plates. The Asian kitchen food looks pretty decent, and they have plenty of space for other restaurants. I probably wouldn't physically eat in the food court right now though due to construction noise and also paint smells. When it's finished the food court looks like it will have plenty of options so I look forward to that. All in all, glad to have more East Asian places spread around north Dallas. It's starting to become repetitive but they're going with what works because it's what the people want.

Linda L.

Yelp
We happened to be in the area and decided to try to get in on some of that grand opening action!! I frequent the 99 Ranch in Carrollton and am excited to hear that they're expanding around the area. I didn't get a chance to check out the whole store because it was definitely packed with eager shoppers and it was too much for the babies. Just like the other stores, this one was massive, and had a great selection of fresh seafood and meat. I love their selection of produce because there's a lot of cheap greens like baby bok choy and Chinese broccoli that you can't find in regular grocery stores. I'm excited to try their food court but will wait til the crowds die down a bit. All in all, love the location and LOVED the new store layout. Don't forget to get your Chinese New Year calendar at customer service!!

Trinh H.

Yelp
I have to agree, the 99 Ranch Market is one of the cleanest Asian supermarkets I have been to. And let me tell you, I've gone to many many many in my lifetime. Each aisle is filled with tons of goodies and ingredients that you would need for your Asian cuisine. Items range from all over Asia: Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thailand, and so many more. If you're here because you need a specific ingredient for that meal you're making this week, then you'll likely find it. Moving over to the meats and seafood, I've noticed that they're usually pretty fresh. Some meat bones are provided and frozen for you in the freezer bins - which I appreciate for making the stock for my soup. Other than that, one thing to note are prices are pretty high. I don't think this place is as inexpensive as I've seen other supermarkets - but it could be due to good quality maintenance of the store. COVID19 restrictions: All staff are required to wear masks; some wear gloves. All persons entering are required masks. Gloves are provided to you upon request. There's a person standing in the front ensuring that all customers entering have their masks. Arrows are made on the ground to make sure people are walking in a uniform direction but NO ONE follows the pointing arrows. Sometimes you'll find mobs of people hundled in an aisle, and staff would not be breaking up the non-socially distancing groups. So beware! Social distance! Go in the mornings or during low hours of operation to avoid crowds.

Isaac L.

Yelp
This is my second time to this supermarket. They scanned and charged one beef tray twice.

Eric B.

Yelp
Beware if you have young kids - I took my 1 year old today and he sat in the shopping cart seat. Half way through the trip, my toddlernstart screaming uncontrollably. I looked at his legs and realized he was burned by the seat - likely from whatever chemical was left on the seat to clean it I called on of the store managers, she responded "ok". Awful

Nicki R.

Yelp
I went to the store yesterday and shop my regular grocery. I bought the couple pack milk I forgot to double check the expiration date and is expired almost 2 months. please check your restock items before put them in the shelf and also bought some hot soy milk back home and other stuff at well. after 1 hour I opened the container the soy milk is already spoiled milk that's is mean the soy milk is old or is been leftover from yesterday(I know how to make the soy milk and know how long they could be left outside) . Please this is not right to put the expired items in store. I never write the reviews and is happened to me often. I want to let the management know and do something about that's. I'm sure lots of customers out there have the same disappointed. I go shop at this location all the time! I would like to keep support our community otherwise I'll go shop somewhere else.

Rujira N.

Yelp
Well, love this store Very convenient 10 minutes from my house They seafood are fresh

Kerry O.

Yelp
Just not as good as other markets I have been to. Very limited selection. They seem more focused on their prepared food, food court, than the market. Bought a few itms, checked out and went to another market. While at the other placed discovered we even overpaid at checkout.

Anthony T.

Yelp
I bought 1 case of mangoes at 99-ranch. We could not eat any single one of them as we saw a strange appearance inside. I used them for garden compost because we don't know what chemical was I injected inside. Please share with me if you also have this issue.

Amber C.

Yelp
Service was speedy and items were easy to find. It was our first trip and I'll definitely be back!

Brad N.

Yelp
I was really excited to see that we have a 99 Ranch Market near my apartment, and even better, it's part of an entire shopping center that features numerous Asian dining options, as well as a Daiso "Japanese dollar store". Moving inside, it's definitely got the "new store smell" and look; everything is clean and orderly. There's a vast produce department with many things that you just don't find in the local supermarket (and a lot of things that you would). Even more impressive is the very sizable fresh seafood market, which features all manner of delights from the sea. Recently, we purchased some fresh salmon for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. The area smells only of the sea, with no fishy odors. The can cook your catch for you, too, if you'd like, and package any quantity that you need. There's also a big selection of land based protein, prepacked and fresh. Aisle after aisle of dry and canned goods present, again, many options that you just don't see everywhere. In the front of the store is a nice bakery that has very fresh baked goods in sweet and savory items, but be advised, you have to pay for these separately from your main store purchases. Finally, there are a growing number of options in the food court, if you just want someone to make dinner for you. Try the chicken feet! Well, maybe. Definitely check this place out if you're trying to make that popular Instant Pot and/or Pinterest dish that has those ingredients that you can't find at your local grocer.

Sandeep S.

Yelp
My wife and I felt sick after having one of their "fresh" fish. I saw a lot of dead fish floating in the aquariums. My mistake I should not have brought the fish seeing this.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Why shop at 99 Ranch when you have Sprouts nearby? If you're looking for Asian variety of produce and fruits that you cannot find in American grocery stores, 99 Ranch is for you. It doesn't hurt that competitively speaking, their produce and protein items are almost always cheaper than that of American grocery stores. If you want live crab, fish, lobster, also check this place out. You won't regret it! We've been waiting for this 99 Ranch to open since the sign went up in the neighborhood couple of years ago. It finally had its soft opening 1/23/2019! I visited on day two of soft opening, and they had a small private ceremony in the corner. The 99 Ranch bakery was giving bread samples, and Beard Papa's will have its soft opening 1/25/2019. The official grand opening of 99 Ranch is on 1/26/2019, but the food court area restaurants may still be work in progress. However, the 99 Ranch cafeteria style food, BBQ duck and pork, and dim sum will be available. If you want a great value lunch box to go, pick two or three dishes with noodles or rice just for 6-8 bucks- that's a steal! This is a smaller 99 Ranch compared to the one in Carrollton and definitely smaller than the one in Northeast Plano. With that being said, everything is laid out very well and organized (way more organized than the one in Carrollton). The pork counter section is a bit small as we were looking for a specific cut of pork that are seen as other 99 Ranch stores, but this one didn't have it. They also didn't have beef tendon at the meat counter, which was surprising. I noticed the tea leaf section is on the smaller side, where I didn't see the brand of tea I usually buy (at the Plano store). I'm elated 99 Ranch is open, and I can get BBQ roast duck, dim sum, and Chinese green produce just 0.3 miles away from home without having to drive 20 minutes out. It'll be interesting to see how these various dessert places will do as there are quite a few in this area (rolled ice cream, crepe, 85 degrees bakery, 99 ranch bakery, two bubble tea places, and Beard Papa's). I hope they all stay open! P.S.- The shopping carts are finally not broken ones! I hope this store can maintain its cleanliness, and it will for sure attract many local shoppers! Some things are more expensive than the items at the Plano store (gotta play the Frisco rent somehow, right?)

Angie H.

Yelp
I love this place!!!! I'm so glad I don't have to drive to Carrollton anymore. They have so many wonderful options in the produce and meat departments. The prices are decent, as well. I can't wait until everything is open in the food court.

Lei T.

Yelp
Tried my best to like this place. Poor customer service or I should say no customer service. We just moved here and needed a new rice cooker. Plus I usually buy a lot of groceries. I like my stuff from Hawaii & Filipino products but I can get them elsewhere. I cook for a family of 6. No help the few times I attempted to ask because the stock of rice cookers are on top the freezers. Rude cashiers and no one is ever at the customer service counter. Shop elsewhere. Trust me. Save yourself!!

Diana N.

Yelp
This place is starting to grow on me. My first impression was that this place is very small but I love how it's organized. The produce section is very small but I have been able to find lots of Asian vegetables and greens at an affordable price to make our dinners. I like that almost all the refrigerated items are enclosed except for their meats. Foods appear fresher and neatly stocked. You will find most Asian staples here, but I have noticed that some more harder to find ingredients they do not have, such as some Vietnamese herbs and spices. Despite this, I still like coming here because it's closer than driving out to the Plano location. There is a tiny food hall inside, but I have not tried any of the foods. Did not look too appealing. This mini Asia town area in Frisco is growing and I love seeing/trying all the new Asian restaurants that open so I'd rather try these places out. PS- About and hour or two before closing each evening, the bakery food items in the front go on sale for $1 each.

Leo K.

Yelp
I bought about a dozen packs of dumpling wraps to cook home-made dumplings. When I opened the packages, I found the first two got fungi and third one okay but fourth one was disgustingly gone bad. Those three went to trash can. I was shocked. Extremely concerned and annoyed against the unacceptable condition of the food products, I rushed to the store in order to return all of them. As I talked to the customer service, I found this store is more disgusting in customer service than their foods. Kelly, a barely English speaking customer agent or a manner, didn't know that she had to apologize in this case. She raised her voice and argued that it could happen and I had to bring all the product back for full refund. She insisted me to dig my trash can and bring them back!!! She is truly rotten. She seems that her loud voice proved that she is right. She refused only what I brought to the store. After she completed refund, I saw she restocked the dumpling wraps back to the fridge. I swear to report this disgusting store to BBB and the State in order protect our community from disgusting quality and unacceptable customer service. I will never go and buy foods from this place!!!

LORI F.

Yelp
Great place for produce, spices, candies, tea, seaweed, and non gmo kimchee (when in stock). I have not bought baked goods or prepared foods so I can't speak to that. Parking is plentiful in the lot out front.

Juan Q.

Yelp
Like this place. The set up is nice. Got a lot of my favorite snacks. Flavor peanuts, cookies, the Bakery. The produce section is good. It looks fresh. Just like the other location the have many in season produce. Always get my mangos @ 99 ranch. Buy them by the crate. I'm not a seafood person, but if you are this is a place with many sea creatures ready for you to purchase. Cool place to check out.

Sumayya A.

Yelp
This place is really nice and very clean! Full of goodies. I do have one request from the management. The fish tanks are overfilled with fish that seem like they are struggling. Please take into consideration that these fish have less than one inch of space to swim and it's cruel to the animals. Otherwise this place is beautiful and highly recommended.

R. C.

Yelp
This location had a distinctly awful order that assaulted the nostrils throughout the aisles. This is not my first visit to an Asian market, nor even my first 99 Ranch Market, so unusual smells are not foreign to me, but this one was rather unpleasant. Other than the smell, they had a pretty good selection.

Cj M.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews and don't let things bother me. But I had to share that if anyone eats at Hot Deli and orders bbq duck and soy chicken like i did, don't expect getting any duck sauce, sweet n' sour sauce, or hot chili oil. Only packets of siracha and soy sauce. First time in my life not getting sauces. I don't want to think they were being racist. But probably just lazy and definitely rude. Wait, this is a fancy Chinese grocery store! The irony!

Yelp
Bought this item for soup, tasted soured and not fresh. This is our second time of bad experience with this supermarket. Very disappointed! We still have other packages of similar items unopened; and we are afraid the quality of these items are also inferior! I'm wondering if this store has QC department and check the freezers' temperature consistently. Or, if your receiving department will check items after delivery to ensure transportation status is good????

Yelp
Stopped by this location on Saturday morning. Arrived (literally) a couple of minutes before they opened. I will say customer service is lacking....There were about 6 customers in the store at 8:05 am and I walked the entire store looking for someone to help me. Finally found someone in the produce area. There was a bit of a language barrier but she directed me to someone who could help me. Asked the guy for what I was looking for and just got the feeling he didn't want to help me. Oh well...I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I just don't like to "vibe" from the employees in the store that I had some interaction with. Also, there so much frozen meats which is the same as the Plano store....I guess that's how they roll. But, it's not appealing to me.

Yelp
This review is for the HOT DELI: They have dim sum, soup, entrees, noodles, rice and roasted/fried meat. As with other fast food Chinese, you can get a 2 or 3 item combo. They don't seem to be charging extra for shrimp. On the day of my visit, they had various dim sum choices, fried chicken, fried fish, veggies and stir fried entrees. They had a huge roast pork hanging, as well as roasted duck. I got some shumai and some sort of pork and shrimp dumpling, which had a good flavor. I also got a pound of roasted pork which they chopped up. It came with some hoisin, but I went and bought some Mang Tomas All Purpose Sauce (located in the store at the end of the soy sauce aisle), which is the way I like to eat roast pork. The skin was nice and crunchy and the meat was moist and tender. I got some noodles which were somewhat bland but nothing that can't be doused with soy sauce. I got a 3 item with the fried chicken, pork chop and eggplant. The eggplant was very oily and not flavorful. The chicken and pork were okay--needed salt. My total bill came to about $33, so it is a very good value. Service was friendly and helpful. I am glad there is another fast food Chinese option nearby.

Yelp
The service at the Seafood area is non existent. Guys just standing around and people waiting with zero service. Eventually people leave

Yelp
First let me state that my star rating reflects my most recent experience in the fish department. There are many positives about the store such as their amazing produce and meat/fish selection. However, when I went in I purchased some fish on display. I asked the monger if he would be able to fillet them and skin them prior to my selection. When I decided on which fish I wanted, I called him over again and said "I want 4 fillets, please remember to skin them". Well, once things are packaged up you have to hope for the best. Unfortunately for me, when I got home and went to prepare my dish for my family, only 1.5 of the fillets were skinned. Yes, it was obvious he didn't forget my request - he just quit about 30% of the way through knowing that I wouldn't notice until I got home. In addition to this, he didn't pull any of the pin bones out which should be done when you request fillets or steaks. Really disappointed with my experience as they weren't exactly cheap fillets either.
