Google
So many wonderful things to say about this place. Staff: they all looked relaxed and happy. They had to time to chat about the menu, the chef, and the restaurant. They looked like they loved their jobs. It is obvious ownership puts a premium on keeping their staff happy. Food: amazing! The variety, the creativity, and the taste of food was great. The desserts were decadent. Chef: Chef Sameer brought out a few dishes himself and came by for a little chit chat as well. Told us about his life and influences. It was great to learn about him. Ambiance: Cozy, and beautiful little place. You walk away happy and refreshed. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Our meal was perfect! We haven't been in awhile and decided to go during their pop-up ramen special menu night. The spring rolls were the best we've ever had. The tofu miso shoyu ramen and tofu noodle stir fry were both very delicious!

Google
Truly one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was all phenomenal, plus the bistro itself was cozy and warm. Could not recommend 9th Street Bistro more. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Google
Really indulgent and flavorsome food along with creative and delicious cocktails. Personally, ordered and loved the pickled peach toast. The menu provides the opportunity to eat more inspiring meals. Physically small restaurant, highly suggest reservations.

Google
Wow!! What can I say! You just experiencing a Real CHEF preparing every single Dish with love & pride! The flavors carries you outside your city & Normal life style and for minute you think you are in southern Italy or Mexico city. This place is must try to experience tasting at its highest level. Staff is very attentive as well

Google
Definitely a gem in the rubble! We've been going here for the past several years. Food, drinks, and service are always top notch. Its a wonderful place for a special occasion such as birthdays and anniversaries. The only recommendation is getting a reservation. The restaurant is small but it is meant to be that way. A keeper for sure!

Google
We started with the house made buratta which was absolutely outstanding. Then we shared an exquisite bowl of butternut squash soup. Then on to the corzetti pasta and pork chop. Finished with the the Nutella hazelnut gelato and an expresso martini. Fabulous birthday dinner!

Google
I wish I could give 6 stars or 10! Absolutely the most amazing, thoughtfully assembled food. I love the changing menu! The attention to detail is off the charts! Every one of the employees knew it was our anniversary. Such a small gesture, but so thoughtful! Rachel & Samir are two of the nicest, most talented, caring people. We are so lucky they call Noblesville home!

Debbi R.

Yelp
Not just some of the best food we have had but the staff are some of the best staff ever' Amazing for our 43rd anniversary! Will certainly go back! Beautiful food with beautiful ambience and beautiful atmosphere and staff!!'

Yelp
Truly a great experience. First I want to really compliment the staff. Our server Tyson as well as others did a superb job. For every course we received fresh plates and silverware which other restaurants should take note of. I had stated on Open table that it was our anniversary. As soon as we sat down Tyson was then with a complimentary split of champagne for us. Such a nice start to the evening. Seats were comfortable and many tables were divided with bookshelves so that you felt as though you had a private quiet area. We started with the fried thing of the day which was 3 brisket stuffed egg rolls. Delicious and the tomatillo salsa accompanying it really enhanced the flavor. We also ordered the burrata which was also delicious. Putting the cheese and tomatoes and balsamic on toast was delicious although I did not really taste any of the ricotta inside the burrata. They change their menu monthly - in terms of entrees I wish there had been more choice- perhaps a nice piece of fish or steak? They did have dishes for vegetarians and vegans which was nice. We both ordered the scallops with grits. Scallops were delicious. I am not a grits person but my husband is and claimed these were some of the best and flavorful grits he has ever had. I had their homemade chocolate layer cake and it was rich and decadent. I also tried my husband's affogato which was espresso with Nutella gelato. He made me give it back lol. Definitely a place to check out.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Hamilton County. The food here is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is divine. I love that they have so many cute little plants and knick knacks. Always order the fried thing of the day. And the whiskey sour with an egg white. Always a great choice!

Yelp
Absolutely the perfect spot for a date night out with the most adorable cozy decor. Perfectly situated just off the main square of Noblesville this is a must visit spot for any special occasion or just because. The owners are wonderful, kind people and serve delicious drinks and food. You'll find yourself telling other people about this restaurant after you leave and wanting to go back the next week.

Jessi G.

Yelp
Very cozy setting, make sure to make a reservation. Owned and ran by lovely husband and wife duo. You can tell they are very passionate and have all of their staff introduce themselves throughout your visit to make sure you are having a great time. It is a farm to table set up so their menu changes with the seasons which I think is awesome! They definitely put a lot of thought into the flavors and had some great options that could satisfy everyone at the table. I would highly recommend to anyone. Very nice parking garage across street that offers 4 hours of free parking.

Matt N.

Yelp
A truly unique experience in Noblesville. The best meal and service we have had in the past year. Take the time to plan ahead and get a reservation for this gem.

Jordan H.

Yelp
9th Street Bistro was one of the best places I've been in ages. I've been pining after it for a while and was thrilled to make the trek. The entire team is super helpful and kind from the minute you walk into the space. They share service which is something that's really cool. The food? The food is amazing. We started with apps and then dove into some mains. All of it was great but I can't wait to go back and eat my way through the apps!

Kristine H.

Yelp
We enjoyed another wonderful dining experience at 9th Street Bistro last evening! Service, cuisine and ambience all continue to be top notch. On this visit, we enjoyed the following from the December 2023 drink, dinner and dessert menus: A Bushel & A Peck cocktail, Butternut Squash Tart, Mussel Chowder, Veal Chop, Pork & Foie Gras Meatloaf and Tres Leches Flan, which was hand delivered to our table by Chef Samir. We're very much looking forward to our fourth visit to the Bistro, which will be New Year's Eve! Looking forward to the 4 Course Prix Fixe Menu!

Shelby A.

Yelp
I wish I could give this spot 10 stars!! I love everything about it ! They have a joint server model- so everyone working stops in to see if you need anything. They change their menu monthly including cocktails- so it's a fresh produce and they are so creative!! Any special occasions my family knows where we will be eating! We have 5 in our family so there is only one table thag can accommodate us so it's important to make reservations! I dream about this place. Make sure you visit! Oh also love that they have a fried item of the day! Changes everyday. Yum.

Chris F.

Yelp
This place is a real gem. My wife and i came here tonight and it was such a cool vibe, super cozy, and the service was great. Now let's get to the food. The food was so amazing. My wife got the steak and frites and i got the tomahawk with the pimento cheese. i was skeptical about the pimento cheese but i just trusted that a chef knows what they are doing and boy was he right. This was fantastic and i can't wait to come back to see what's on next months menu!

Gabrielle S.

Yelp
From the amazing owners to the seasonal changes for the menu I am never disappointed by going to 9th street bistro. The service is spectacular like you are one of the family. The menu options are out of Ham co league with brilliant wine and cocktail pairings. Their mocktails are also bright and refreshing. The restaurant is cozy but well curated to make you feel at home and also at a fine dining experience simultaneously. Highly recommend

Karley M.

Yelp
Never disappoints! I love the ever changing menu which makes my indecisiveness go crazy, but in the best way. I honestly think you can't go wrong with a single thing on the entire menu. The staff is so incredibly friendly and the ambience is calm and relaxing. I have nothing but praise for this quaint, special, unique restaurant.

Lynn N.

Yelp
We went on their special ramen pop-up dinner and it was a fantastic meal from start to finish. The ramen was so good I was craving ramen for days after. For a vegetarian ramen, the broth was velvety and full bodied. You could not tell this was a meatless broth. The best vegetarian ramen I've had for sure. I can't wait until their new place opens so I can get another taste of that wonderful dish. We also tried their veggie spring rolls which were fried crispy with a flavorful filling. The steamed buns were pillowy with crispy tofu and kimchi, which made for a perfect bite. Every employee is friendly and the service is top-notch. The ambiance is comfortable and approachable. There was nothing pretentious about this place. A comfortable setting with an elevated food experience. How does it get any better? We loved it so much, before leaving, we booked another reservation to come back and try their regular menu and specials. What a treat to have a place like this in Noblesville's historic town square!

Robert K.

Yelp
Flavor City! We went for valentines days and there was a 4 course meal. The service was awesome! The ambiance is dreamy. They have string lights hanging and it's like you're eating under the stars. Their menu items are "out of the box" but they are executed to perfection and the flavors are like nothing I've tasted before. Make the trip up to Noblesville for a night on their town square and a amazing dinner at 9th street bistro

Cat A.

Yelp
Small, cute establishment, reservations suggested! Luckily BF and I were immediately accommodated at the bar. Appreciated the drink menu which included a nice selection of mocktails. I ordered a coconut espresso-type drink that puts Sbux to shame! So tasty! Appetizers consisted of a creamy burrata-based creation topped with toasted walnuts and a side of toasted baguette slices. BF ordered a beer-can chicken, so tender with perfectly crispy skin and a side of potato wedges. All so wonderfully tasty. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Looking forward to returning and sampling the remaining menu!

Hannah J.

Yelp
Seriously incredible!! This is a very small restaurant with so much charm. The menu is seasonal and changes from time to time. The service was so attentive. We had shared that it was our anniversary and we got a free glass of champagne to help us celebrate. We started with the focaccia bread and whipped butter - SO good! Highly recommend. Then we each got an entree, which had large portions and was just so delicious. Definitely recommend getting a reservation since the place is small and homey, but will be coming back!

John W.

Yelp
Service although polite seemed unorganized and not client focused. Food, salmon ordered and delivered cold. Sent back for a new one but same one came back out and now was mushy and inedible. Mgr did take it off bill but guaranteed this was a one and done for us.. not to return..

Erin R.

Yelp
Amazing dinner and experience! Get your reservation well ahead of time and just enjoy yourself. Everything is great from the food, to the staff, to the ambiance. Can't wait to go back!

Nellie G.

Yelp
I cannot rave enough about this establishment! Great service cute cozy atmosphere, BUT THE FOOD!!!! Wow, from the appetizer to to the entrees had my taste buds dancing. My husband had the porterhouse pork chop and I had the lemon shrimp pasta. Many times I have ordered lemon pasta and could hardly taste the lemon in it. I was so happy could taste the refreshing lemon taste. The pork chop was fall off the bone.the homemade mozzarella was silky smooth.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
An absolutely delightful birthday dinner at 9th Street Bistro. Their team approach to service coupled with an expertly crafted rotating seasonal menu is the recipe for a fantastic dining experience. It was truly hard to decide which cocktails, small bites, and entrées to choose. We especially loved the focaccia + olive plate with garlic & herb butter as well as the smoked salmon pasta dish. The vibe is great - fun and eclectic but well put together for an elevated dining experience.

Nancy B.

Yelp
Oh my! What a fantastic little bistro! I'll get right to the deliciousness! Started with focaccia bread with pimento cheese and olives. Light and airy and enough for 4. Hubs tried the halibut cassoulet special and was enthralled! I had the brown butter gnocchi and the flavor combo was out of this world. We shared the roasted carrots which may sound plain, but FAR from it. Coated in chili oil and feta cheese, these were simply amazing! Delightful location off the square, intimate with only 9 tables and impeccable service! Can't wait to try the next menu which changes seasonally.

Kacy G.

Yelp
What a gem! My friend and I popped in here before the dinner rush. You definitely want to make a reservation! But, we were lucky in that we were early and quick so we got to enjoy a meal at the bar. And enjoy it we did! Let's start with the cocktails, omgeeee they were so good. The ice cubes are infused which added to the flavor and the look. We shared the burrata (yum), the roasted carrots (yum), and the scallops (yum). Everything was bursting with flavor. The burrata was creamy and salty, the roasted carrots were spicy and kicky, and the scallops/risotto were rich and tangy. One of the best meals I've had out in a long time.

Yerika C.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service really attentive and helpful. The place is super cute, great decoration. They think in every detail. Food is pricey but worth every penny!

Stephanie O.

Yelp
What an incredible meal and experience from start to finish. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations for food and drinks. The food was dynamic, nuanced, delicious, and balanced. We started with the pig and fig tart which was salty and sweet in all the right ways. The house made Agnolotti pasta was absolutely delicious; I don't even traditionally like mushrooms and ate every single bite of this dish. A must try is the miso brown butter pecan gelato. Umami and sweet, truly the best gelato I've ever had. The small cozy atmosphere makes this a perfect date night spot without the hustle and bustle of a large busy restaurant. Definitely check this place out.

Natasha K.

Yelp
My brother who bartended at The Nesst next door recommended 9th Street Bistro to us after he dined in a few times. He raved about it and said he thought it would be a place we'd love it. Boy was he right! We were greeted BY NAME for our 6:15 reservations. Seated immediately and within a few minutes were greeted by one of the owners with a mini bottle of champagne to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The owners pay attention to every details here. Down to the decor, the glassware, the location. This dining experience transformed me to a different city and we oddly felt like FAMILY. I want to also say I was a bit skeptical that their complete 5 star review on Yelp that my expectations wouldn't be met (I tried not to have any expectations). We'll all expectations exceed and their 5 star is highly deserved! Bravo chefs

Reagan R.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere, vibe, service, food, and appreciation for local businesses make this place such a knockout. The owners are working alongside the crew and you can see how much pride everyone takes in their jobs. Their menu changes seasonally, so it's always different. My most recent selections were the eggplant dumplings (can't remember official name for them), mussels, and lemon cake. One of the best meals I've had!

Fred S.

Yelp
Our daughter who owns The Vault Indy said we must try 9th Street. It was one of the best restaurants that we have eaten at in the Indianapolis area. Service was amazing, One of the owners stopped by the table to discuss our meal. You must try the dancing asparagus. That was a first for us. I wish I had taken a picture. Very quaint but a super nice spot for a great meal. Just try it and you'll see.

Georgana N.

Yelp
This has become our family's go-to special occasion restaurant! It is the best food we've had around Indy and the ambience and service are unmatched. The menu changes every month or so and it's a great way to try foods we wouldn't normally come across.

Ramzi S.

Yelp
Wow!! What can I say! You just experiencing a Real CHEF preparing every single Dish with love & pride! The flavors carries you outside your city & Normal life style and for minute you think you are in southern Italy or Mexico city. This place is must try to experience tasting at its highest level. Yelp
Charming and intimate restaurant located right off the courthouse square in downtown Noblesville. Comfortable and not crowded. The service was particularly good and included visits at our table by four people including our primary server. Excellent list of win and cocktails. The menu has a good variety of options. A high point from the list of starters is the rosemary focaccia. The whipped herb butter that accompanied it was pretty wonderful. From the entrees a particular favorite was the gnocchi with lobster. The dish was rich but not overwhelming. Another recommendation is the pasta bolognese.

Leslie H.

Yelp
James Beard nominee. This restaurant changes their menu every month. Service is very friendly and gives you that neighborhood vibes. Decent revolving signature cocktail and wine menu. They also feature your usual/regular cocktails but named after their patrons (ex. margarita, old fashioned, amaretto sour etc). They also offer a supper club so you can get freezer friendly food as well as community dinners. The owners and husbands and wives who loves to travel and gets inspirations everywhere. Overall, this place is a refreshing addition to the Indy restaurant scene.

Mendy C.

Yelp
We came for my husband's birthday and everything was absolutely incredible! Everyone was so friendly and Sarah was an incredible sommelier and took care of us all evening. We started with a couple of dirty martinis with the Boursin-stuffed olives along with the brisket egg rolls. Delish! I ordered the featured duck with risotto paired with a delicious glass of Tempranillo. My husband ordered the blackened scallops with orange corn cheesy grits. Dessert was equally amazing, hubby received a complementary hazelnut gelato, I loved the chocolate mousse cake. A fabulous night all around! Chef Samir is a Master!!

Denise M.

Yelp
4-course, Chef prepared, community dinner ......my perfect date night. Happy! Lamb tenderloin, and strip steak with a bone in T-bone chop, spring risotto ...with spinach, fava beans, mint and pecorino. roasted broccoli rob and four times flash fried red potatoes. Mini Burrata with arugula pesto, strawberries and pecans with a rosemary focaccia bread. The amuse Bouche was a sweet potato phyllo crisp with chickpeas, pinenuts and golden raisins and a sweet balsamic. Dessert was a coconut cake with cream cheese frosting and toasted Coconut with a simple syrup. YUM!!! be still my foodie heart. I love supporting locally owned businesses and restaurants. This particular restaurant (the Chef and owner) was only one of two restaurants nominated for a James Beard award this year. And if you are a true foodie, you will know what that means and how impressive that is. 9th Street Bistro

Paddy M.

Yelp
9th Street is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. A testament to the food scene, not only in Indiana, but the entire Midwest. The quality of the service Rachel and her team provide is wonderfully paired by the delicious food Chef Samir puts out with every dish. The seasonal menu provides you with hit after hit of can't go wrong food in a laid back atmosphere that shouldn't be missed. It's like going to your gran's house with your family, if your gran was Alice Waters and your cousins were the crew from Chez Panisse. I cannot recommend this lovely establishment enough!

Erin Q.

Yelp
Dinner last night was chef's kiss! We started with the fried Brussels sprouts and also the house made burrata. I chose the beet salad with house made ricotta and local pink lady apples and decided I could somehow also eat the fig and pig tart! That tart was made with figs, carmelized onions, and house cured bacon. It was like heaven on a plate! No room for dessert, but I had a bite of the figgy toffee cake my friend ordered and I'd definitely order it. This place has found a nice little spot in my heart and I can't wait to go back!

Ashley T.

Yelp
5/5 stars! We'd been wanting to dine here for a while and finally decided to make a reservation. (Pro tip: Don't show up on a whim and expect to be seated. They are a small spot that fills up quickly and operates, informally, on reservation only. Plan ahead if you want to dine here.) We were so impressed! The service was excellent. We came in on a Wednesday, when they have half priced bottles of wine, and the server was very knowledgeable in helping us choose a great bottle to accompany dinner. We started with the Bistro salad, which was really fresh. Then the bison meatballs. Then our main dishes - I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. And finally, dessert! I ordered the almond olive oil cake, which was fantastic. Everything was perfectly cooked, all local ingredients. They run a great business here. We will be back for the upcoming community dinner event!

Ashley R.

Yelp
I've said it once and I'll say it again, best restaurant in Indianapolis. It was a chilly evening and walking into 9th Street Bistro I immediately felt welcomed. It's cozy and quaint. We were promptly seated for our 7:15 pm reservation at the booth in the bar. In my opinion, the best seat in the house. The perfect spot to view dishes as they come out of the kitchen! It felt like a wine night, so I ordered the house red (carne - mercato from Puglia, Italy). It was on point. My husband ordered an old fashioned - which was great! Their wine and cocktails never disappoint. We started the meal with the fried thing of the day - garden jalapeño poppers. And of course, I can't come here without ordering the housemade burrata. I could eat this every day of my life. I love the staff at 9th Street Bistro. The waiter we had during our first visit came to take our order. I asked him his opinion on two dishes and he gave an honest and convincing review. My husband did the same. Therefore, we ordered the coho salmon ravioli and the pork chop with pimento cheese risotto. It did not disappoint! There are few restaurants I go to where I end up ordering dessert. But when the specials menu lists apple fritters with vanilla gelato and it's the perfect fall night, you can't pass that up. The apple fritters were piping hot and soft with the perfect amount of sugar! My only critique is I wish there would have been more vanilla gelato! It was divine! All in all, this is a restaurant that keeps you wanting to come back for more. Part of that has to do with the rotating menu, but it has even more to do with the people who own and work here, who make you feel right at home!

Cody R.

Yelp
We have lived in Indiana for 3 years and this is by far and away the best meal we have had in the state. The smaller scale of the restaurant allows for the culinary execution, ambiance, and service to blend perfectly. The small but diverse menu shines. The intimacy of the restaurant accentuates the service. Would highly recommend.

Kathy W.

Yelp
AMAZING!! This was our first experience and it won't be our last. We sat in the bar, and we were able to watch the drinks being made and all the entrees coming out of the kitchen. Everything from the drinks, to the food and service was perfect!

Tonya A.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Our food was cooked to perfection! The service we received was wonderful. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was quiet, great for date night! We can't wait to return!!!

Hannah P.

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The food is amazing, taking a variety of things I've had before to a whole new level. The pork belly appetizer...wow! So delicious! Loved the bread with butter or pimento cheese. Both were delicious. And the service was off the charts. They take a team approach to serving and we're proactive in meeting our needs but also kind and interactive. We got to meet both owners and can't wait to go back! Oh and we also love their giving hearts (try the Philanthropist )

Rhonda W.

Yelp
If you haven't eaten here yet you need to run, not walk! The food never fails to impress with its creativity, freshness and flavor. The staff are attentive and kind. And I can't say enough about the owners--THE nicest people who take great pride in serving only the best. It's a small, cozy restaurant that is one of our favorites!

Emily D.

Yelp
The food and ambiance are fantastic! All the staff are really knowledgeable and go out of the way to make it a great experience.

Natalie W.

Yelp
This is the perfect restaurant for date night. 9th Street Bistro has been on my list for awhile and deserves 10 stars. It's a quaint place with wonderful staff and phenomenal food. Everything was packed with flavor and majority of their items are local, home made and fresh. Truly a gem and one of my fav new places in north Indy! Definitely make a reservation and if not, they have a supper club option. Ready to heat dishes that changes weekly.

amy w.

Yelp
Best food you will ever have. This place never disappoints. Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are extremely creative and flavorful. We nearly order half of the menu every time because we want to try everything. Their drinks are very good including their mocktails. Really love the change in menus every few months. Couldnt recommend this place enough. Make sure to make reservations in advance!!!

belinda s.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were on the way to eat somewhere else and I thought it might be nice to try something new, so I whipped out yelp and found this place. We called to see if they could seat us and came in. The atmosphere is very cute/cozy. Kind of Bistro/country in a way but not fully European Bistro style. I have back issues and the chairs are not my favorite kind for how I have to sit, but that's just me and they are fine. There were some pews and if I call again I may ask to sit on one. I like the use of little bookshelves to separate customers/make table space. That part seemed cozy. They have a small, curated menu that consists of local produce, which is fantastic. We started with the lamb meatballs (special). They very nice. Kind of airy and a nice mix with the quinoa. Quinoa is hard to eat with a giant fork, by the way. I had the pork chop and couscous. My boyfriend had the Beer Can chicken. We started with the goat meatballs (which were a special). Both were fantastic. I really enjoyed the citrus/fresh flavor of the couscous and the pork was cooked perfectly. Brian enjoyed his chicken and frites. The standout of the night was the roasted carrots with chili and feta. They were such a wonderful texture and flavor mix. Ordered an Orange Crème Brûlée and I liked it fine. I'd probably try something else next time for dessert. If you're in Noblesville, definitely check them out.

Emily M.

Yelp
9th Street Bistro is truly a gem in the Indianapolis area. Unique menu, some of the best cocktails that I've ever had and a really cute, unique ambiance that feels like you're the only table in the place. They could easily add more tables, but I love that they are quality over quantity and aim to make each visit special. We will be back as often as we can snag a reservation.

Sophia S.

Yelp
We came here for a last minute weeknight dinner date. The interior was cute and cozy. It felt very intimate. Our server and all the other employees were so attentive. We started with cocktails, the Manhattan & the Kate Baker (dirty gin martini). They had an extensive list of wine, beers, and cocktails/mocktails so it was hard to chose, but we stuck with our go to's. For dinner we had the Steamed Mussels with Fingerling Frites and the Moroccan Roasted Chicken. I loved these mussels, the broth they were cooked in was delicious. For dessert we split the Affogato. This place was perfect after a long day of work to be able catch up with my partner in a quiet, calming, delicious setting.

Julie W.

Yelp
OMG what a wonderful meal. We had a date night, enjoyed everything from drinks, appetizer, steak and dessert with dessert cocktail. Dessert Chocolate torte of course 10/10 Hoosier Buckeye dessert cocktail 10/10. Can not say enough about the friendly welcome, Rachael is so welcoming. Tessa our bartender awesome!! It's a great place for a wonderful meal....
