Steven came out for a quote, and he was super professional and upbeat! He said he could get the job done the following Monday and he did. He showed up on time, actually a few minutes early and got right to work.. His crew got right to work clearing brush as he was cutting the branches down. Communication was great start to finish! The entire team was professional and hard working. The climber was masterful and beyond talented in his work. I was in awe of his abilities. They cleaned up like it was their own property. Highly recommend!!

Friendly, available, skilled, timely, they are just what we needed for all the dead ash trees. The best part is Steve listens and will do just what you ask and adjust if the cost is too high. Skill and experience is not cheap!

A-1 Tree Service is outstanding! My phone call was returned promptly (thanks Karen!) and Steve came out the next day (earlier than initially planned to beat the spring snow storm!) to give us an estimate. (Another tree service said the job was too big.) We had been worried about these two HUGE pine trees for a while and Steve agreed they were the top priority on our property. The crew showed up the following Monday and got to work straight away. My husband and I kept going out to watch the process because it was so cool! Shout out to Kevin! I may have developed a (non-harassing) crush. (We’re not worthy!!) He is AMAZING!! Kevin (Marine veteran) is the climber and the feller and was incredible to watch as he climbed, swung, and chain-sawed his way through the two ponderous pines, from the very first branch until the final, perfectly placed drops of both trees. A-1’s crew and (also cool) equipment buzzed around efficiently underneath gathering the branches and brush to feed the chipper- who knew they could handle such large branches?!!- or pile the huge logs for removal later. The Vermeer ‘gatherer’ was fun to watch as it lifted logs that seemed to weigh more than it did!! Apparently, our yard is not user-friendly to any type of service, but the company persevered and pushed through all the challenges. Sorry!! DEFINITELY recommend A-1 Tree Service and will call them again when we need them!

Called when a huge tree limb fell, we were worried the whole tree was rotten. Steve came by and told us the tree was solid. He even removed the huge tree limb that was wedged in the fence and he didn't even charge us! That kind of service is hard to find these days! Thanks again Steve.
