A & S Italian Deli

AnS Deli is one of those places that instantly transports you straight to Italy the second your first bite hits your mouth. The mozzarella is unbelievably creamy and fresh—made in house—and the meats are all imported from Italy. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Beyond the sandwiches, they have trays of pastries, soups and sauces in the freezer, a wall of imported EVOO, and they even walk around offering samples while you’re there. It feels like a full Italian market experience, not just a deli. This was my second day in a row eating here. The first day I had the AnS Special and it absolutely did not disappoint. Today I went with Nicky’s Favorite, while he had the South Bronx Cutlet—both incredible. The portions are insane. I’m only here until the end of the week, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up eating here a couple more times. Truly an amazing spot.

This place is my new addiction. A combination of bagels and Italian market. As most of us Floridians originally from NY know, it’s nearly impossible to find a bagel that tastes like the real thing. Goldbergs hits the target perfectly. Then I moved to the Italian side and oh Madon, the quality is unmatched. I used to drive to Coral Springs or Boca of if I wanted real Italian speciality foods and now it’s a half mile from my house. But what really makes the place special is the hospitality. Andrew behind the deli counter reminds me of my uncle and Amanda who runs the front make me feel my order is the only thing that matters. Both with a smile and warmth that is truly genuine. I just cant recommend this place enough.

This place nails everything an authentic Italian deli should be. Legit Italian subs on semolina, insanely fresh meats, real mozzarella, and an olive oil selection that doesn’t mess around. They’ve also got fresh Italian desserts and fresh bagels, so whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’re covered—and it’s all quality. Family-owned and operated, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. The walls are lined with family photos and history, but the place still feels clean, sharp, and modern. The staff is warm, professional, and clearly takes pride in what they do—everyone looks put together and actually cares. I’ve been in here multiple times, and the service and vibe never change. Same energy. Same quality. Same respect. Every visit feels like being around family and brings you back to a time when people had values and standards mattered. This isn’t just a deli—it’s a throwback done right.

Absolutely incredible! I got the chicken cutlet with red onion, basil, mozzarella, and roasted peppers on fresh-baked bread—it was out of this world. The flavor instantly reminded me of the classic New York sandwiches I grew up with. Everything tasted so fresh, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The staff was super friendly and welcoming—it felt like being part of the family. Such an amazing addition to town, and I can’t wait to come back and try more sandwiches!

BEYOND happy that A&S Deli opened in my neighborhood. I’ve gone 3 times in the last week for both breakfast, lunch, and for baked goods. The food is authentic and fresh and this place is truly a hidden gem and what we’ve been lacking in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a wonderful local spot where you can enjoy a meal or grab items from the market. This place truly has something for everyone and I can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

Im from NYC and been in Florida for 3 years and in that time I have not had a sandwich that can come close to a NY Italian deli , until now this place is what you would expect in an Italian deli. Can't say enough Italian hero / combo 10/10, Matza ball soup 9.5/10 well seasoned, Tiramisu fresh not stale 9.5/10, chocolate covered canoli 9.5/10, and good selection of bevs and desserts and something very rare to find in Florida rainbow cookies mos def were going back no other deli will do

The food is absolutely delicious, you can clearly feel that everything is made from scratch. The bread, marinara and mozzarella are SOOOO good that we don’t even mind driving all the way there. I recommend it 100% our order was the number 23. Ngl we had to deal with some attitude when ordering but as I said: the food is worth the effort hahah will go back for sure.

I very rarely write bad reviews because I understand what it’s like to own a small business but this place is terrible. They charge $20 for the driest sandwich on the planet, not to mention the laziness of prepping the ingredients with whole black olives very little lettuce, and the red relish is disgusting. The bread is tasteless and the turkey is so dry. Do not waste your money. This place is nothing like Arthur Ave coming from a native New Yorker. A simple turkey sandwich on a Kaiser roll should not be $20. Lapasda which is nearby is half the price, fresher, and much better.
