"A&S is an Italian deli that’s also roommates with a bagel shop, so don’t get distracted when you walk in and see a wall of everything bagels. You’re here for a formidable italian sub. They’ve got hot and cold options, stuffed with various fried cutlets, cold cuts, and lots more. They bake their own bread, like a sesame semolina hoagie roll and schiacciata, which they may sell out of by the end of the day. We’ve liked everything we’ve tried here, so listen to your sandwich instincts. But the A&S special with prosciutto, soppressata, mortadella, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, and a quick shower of balsamic vinegar is a great choice. There are a couple of tables inside but not much personality in the fluorescent space, so take your sandwich to-go. Leave with a big ball of mozzarella, too. They make it themselves." - Ryan Pfeffer

Absolutely incredible! I got the chicken cutlet with red onion, basil, mozzarella, and roasted peppers on fresh-baked bread—it was out of this world. The flavor instantly reminded me of the classic New York sandwiches I grew up with. Everything tasted so fresh, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The staff was super friendly and welcoming—it felt like being part of the family. Such an amazing addition to town, and I can’t wait to come back and try more sandwiches!

BEYOND happy that A&S Deli opened in my neighborhood. I’ve gone 3 times in the last week for both breakfast, lunch, and for baked goods. The food is authentic and fresh and this place is truly a hidden gem and what we’ve been lacking in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a wonderful local spot where you can enjoy a meal or grab items from the market. This place truly has something for everyone and I can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A&S Deli is absolutely incredible! Their chicken cutlet sandwiches are out of this world — perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite tastes freshly made with care. On top of that, they have a huge variety of delicious desserts that are impossible to resist. From the moment you walk in, the place smells amazing and the display cases are filled with tempting treats. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Highly recommend A&S Deli to anyone who loves great food and even better service!

The food is absolutely delicious, you can clearly feel that everything is made from scratch. The bread, marinara and mozzarella are SOOOO good that we don’t even mind driving all the way there. I recommend it 100% our order was the number 23. Ngl we had to deal with some attitude when ordering but as I said: the food is worth the effort hahah will go back for sure.

Cleanest most friendly and efficient Italian Deli. I loved the #23 added artichokes, it was amazing! I would have purchased a little of everything, however I was far from home. Next time I will definitely buy some bakery items.

It doesn’t get better than.this place. The Bronx cutlet is delicious. Andrew deliveries one of the best sandwiches you’ll experience. Great place, friendly staff and successful business that delivers an excellent meal.

Experience was good, staff was friendly and came to immediately give us recommendations of the sandwiches. However, this is a great grab and go place to get a nice meal on the go. Things I would like to see in the future would be a better layout of the deli and counter areas since the current layout is not comfortable for customers to sit down and enjoy their food and beverages. Also the main parking lot has limited parking although there is additional parking in the medical building next door.

Best sandwich I have had in years! And I’m talking Food Network 5 star quality. Giant hand crafted gourmet sandwich, homemade potato salad and an ice cold beverage for $21. Best lunch value in all of FTL. Extremely courteous staff, fresh meat and a plethora of Italian pre-packaged canned/foods. One of the owners, Nick, helped me. First time customer so he gave me the nickel tour of the place. Super nice guy, very helpful and friendly. After my mean, I did some shopping for the week. Got two giant 2” thick fresh ribeyes, some fresh hot sausages, 1 lb of the best potato salad you will ever try and some basic Italian staples everyone should have: pesto, locatelli, pasta and good old fashioned local Italian bread. I drove 30 minutes to get there. I have heard nothing but good things about this place. La Dolce Vita is the sandwich you need to try! 5 star gourmet!
