This food tour has been one of the highlights of my stay in Chiang Mai. Due to cancellations, my tour ended up being just me and the show still went on! Moui is the best. What an amazing food tour. you learn absolutely tons about northern Thai food, the influence of Chinese and Burmese culture and most importantly you get to try about 20+ different dishes and learn all about the local ingredients that go into each. the array of food is stunning and there are so many delicious dishes that you'll lose count. Moui was amazing throughout, always making sure we had water, always offering towels and making sure that we were looked after. She explained everything so clearly and knowledgeably and was amazing throughout. cannot recommend this tour enough. really good way to experience Thai food and learn about Chiang Mai

This was such an interesting tour with a wide selection of dishes that broadened my understanding of Thai cuisine. I really liked the bus ride aspect that meant we were going to places that I may not have found myself. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to sample Thai food. But come hungry. I promise you that is a key point!!

I had a wonderful time on this food tour. I’ve been on many food tours and this is certainly the most adventurous one but also the most exhilarating. Tree was our guide and he shared a lot about the history, preparation methods and other factoids about the local delicacies we were trying. We went to restaurants all over the city - my favorites were “hole in the wall” places that I never would’ve found myself but that were packed with locals. I also loved the market - there was so much to see and sample there! Thanks so much for being a great guide, Tree!

Moui is a very knowledgeable guide about the regional food and influences on the cuisine from Burma, China and the Shan state. I tried so many amazing dishes I would never have dared order myself. My favourites have to be the beef Kao soi and the crispy pork belly. I loved the market tour at the end, and learned a lot about how Thai people, especially those in Chiang Mai live and eat, and how that has changed over time.
