TikTok: These Wes Anderson-Esque Movies Are Love Letters to San Francisco Food and Drink | Eater SF

"The short documentary on this confection-focused spot is one of several that have racked up hundreds of thousands of views and demonstrates the creator’s filmic influences and careful production values (Canon R6 Mark Two, high-end lenses, DJI mic). The video style is described as artful and free of typical vlogging mannerisms, letting local makers tell their stories and explain their processes in their own words." - Paolo Bicchieri

This is my 10-year old niece's favorite store in Belmont Center – she LOVES the extremely generously portioned slushies! Chocolates and candies are also very delicious and reasonably priced. Super friendly and welcoming customer service, cute outdoor seating in the shade, and lots of fun knickknacks like Squishmallows to browse through.

Nuts in chocolate bark were literally rancid and the chocolate itself was pretty mediocre as well. Staff were kind. Store is a bit messy and disorganized. Probably most the candy is fine but would avoid the fancier chocolates.

Bentley students/parents take notice! Here is a local shop that provides a great value, friendly service and timely delivery. Thank you!!!

Adorable little shop. Great variety of candy, chocolates, and they had ice cream. The woman working was uncommonly kind to me and my children. Will be back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing customer service. I needed a gift basket ASAP and they were so helpful and accommodating. They have an amazing assortment of well basically everything a kid would ever want. Enjoy!

Loveee this place! Customer Service is amazing and everything they have is high quality. During the summer they have some of the best ice creams I have tried around here. They have a ton of items for gifts, chocolates and more!

Yelp
Had such a great experience here! I believe it was the owner who served us and she was so friendly and helped us choose which truffles to get. Very reasonably priced! The fudge was also amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
A coolest place to get candy; most of the chocolates are made locally in towns in the Eastern Massachusetts area. The store itself is crowded with stuff to buy; but brings insurmountable joy to anyone who goes in. I always leave with some chocolate-covered raisins or a box of chocolate creams.

Yelp
Thank you Chocolate Dream for supporting the BHS All Night Party! Your generosity and support of this annual event was appreciated by all. Thank you!!!

Yelp
This place introduced me to chocolate-covered potato chips when I was a kid. I'd go here after I went to the orthodontist to make me feel better. You know, cause nothing says braces tightening like chomping on some chocolate covered chips. I had such a high metabolism back then. Well, it was not a big surprise to see the A Chocolate Dream is still in business in the sleepy town of Belmont. It's been around for a long time and even though we are in a recession, it looks like candy stores are still safe. If you are in Belmont center and want something sweet, treat yourself to A Chocolate Dream.

Yelp
In a perfect world, the employees would have personality traits that were similar to the products they sold. Then you'd expect to find fishy people at seafood restaurants, happy people at clown colleges, and airheads working at balloon stores. You get the point, I'm sure, but in this perfect world, the people who worked at A Chocolate Dream would actually be sweet: Acknowledging customers with a simple greeting. There is a large candy selection here, childrens clothes, and gift baskets galore... But you know, in this economy, customer service really makes me want to spend money at foo-foo places (aka luxury, non-necessities sorts of places). Being ignored and glared at makes me want to snap my wallet shut. A Chocolate Dream? More like a dream where I peed the bed.

Yelp
Save your money. These are overpriced and not actually made on the premises. Two people were working and no one else was in the shop and no one offered to help me. The loose chocolates are actually made at Winfrey's (I was told by a member of the staff), and they're just OK . Nothing special. Easily 85% of the items have no price on them and you have to ask. Very annoying. I've gone to The Chocolate Truffle in Reading and they are incredible. Better than Godiva. Definitely better than these. Real artisan chocolates made by people who care.

Yelp
Driving through Belmont, I stopped to get some flowers for my girlfriend. Right next door was this quaint little chocolate shop, and I thought "flowers AND chocolate? That's the one-two punch!" The people inside were very nice, and put together a box of chocolates based on what I told them my g/f liked. The real reason I'm writing this review is because once I got home and tasted the stuff, it was incredible. Next time I'm in Belmont I'll be stopping by again.

Yelp
It may not be the most ingenious name for a chocolate shop, but you can't get much more appropriate. I pictured walls covered in chocolate, desserts galore and teddy bears. When I finally walked in, after driving by it 50 times, I found a candy shop. Not quite my vision, but still a pretty good candy shop. The majority of the space is taken up by shelves of gifts and candy bins with scoops to serve yourself. There's a large case of chocolates to choose from near the main counter, and there are fun chocolate gifts -- including a high-heel chocolate shoe filled with nonpareils. I almost got that as a gift for my friend's housewarming (may not be a "house" gift, but she loves her cute shoes). But I went with the two wine glasses filled with white chocolate covered pretzels and multicolored chocolates. Her husband was happy. They are now serving ice cream, too. I'm not sure that's enough to compete with the TCBY on the busier side of Leonard Street, but it's another option. The owner -- or whoever was working the counter that day -- said she was just glad the shop was getting more attention thanks to a recent Fox 25 broadcast in Belmont. She didn't say that to me... She was chatting it up on the phone the whole time I was there and right through my purchase.

Yelp
Went out of my way to shop on a Sunday afternoon more than 2 hours before advertised closing time and they were closed. Poor way to build a base of new customers.

Yelp
I love this shop. I can always pop in and get a personal gift made in no time that looks amazing. The owner is very friendly and can make up a beautiful gift you are proud to give. Great selection of candy and toys. Great offerings at Valentine's Day and Easter! I'm always happy with my purchase.

Yelp
This is a great spot for anyone with a chocolate craving. Upon calling and finding out they just closed for the day, Mary was nice enough to keep the store open for a few extra minutes so I could get some truffles & fudge. Excellent place and excellent quality product.

Yelp
Awesome candy shop. Nice staff and a great selection of candy. It can be a little pricy though but they have stuff for less than a quarter. Good for gifts!!!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Always a great place to get a treat for anyone! Children's party favors, teachers, friends, and so helpful with ideas for gifts! Highly recommend it!

Lou C.

Yelp
Terrific candy and gift store with ample selection of each, and then some! The owners couldn't be any nicer, creative and helpful. The steep prices are my only complaint.
