We stayed in the hotel with the one Michelin star restaurant but decided to eat in this Bib Gourmand restaurant, all owned by the same family.
The experience was very mediocre to put it mildly.
The Flammkuchen was nice but no more than that.
The veal kidneys were disgusting, there was more fat than meat. And I can tell you my wife and I love veal kidney's and eat them whenever possible. We thought that a Bib Gourmand restaurant with supervision of a one star family would be able to cook them well and find a good supplier of them.
The spätzle were very dry and I not freshly made.
The ambiance was nice and the place was very full which was noticeable with the service.
Suma summarum, I would not recommend it for the veal kidney.
I awarded them one star!
