We went to A Crystal Cove for dinner after a graduation party, and it was the perfect way to celebrate: elegant, effortless, the hit place. The views of the Pacific at sunset were stunning, and the whole experience felt like something out of a movie. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, attentive service, a relaxed but upscale vibe, and food that genuinely impressed. We had a feast: Brussels sprouts, filet mignon, purée, and the Ahi for me… and it was perfect. Let’s not forget the Oreo chocolate desert ! 😋The cocktails were just as thoughtful, balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. Located right off Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Coast, A Crystal Cove captures the essence of coastal luxury without ever feeling stuffy. As a local realtor based in Huntington Beach, I love introducing my clients to spots like this where the food is incredible, the view is unforgettable, and the experience feels like a taste of the lifestyle they’re moving here for. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a Tuesday night, this place is worth the reservation.

My fiancé and I came to celebrate our last anniversary before our wedding and our experience exceeded our expectations. It was our first time visiting, but the attention to detail - including a celebratory glass of prosecco, custom menus, and a special dessert - made for the most memorable night. Not to mention how delicious the food was and how amazing the service was. The photo booth was such a fun way to end the night. We will definitely be returning!!

Just wow. Upon driving up valet was extremely accommodating allowing me to park in the front. Thank you! Upon walking in we hit the bar first before deciding on a table. The bartender Jared was outstanding. Extremely professional and helpful. Really made the dining experience better. After we had an appetizer. Spicy Tuna and some drinks. We decided to have dinner and asked for a table. We ordered the filet mignon, Mac n cheese, potatoes and burger. Filet mignon. Cooked absolutely perfect. Medium rare to perfection! Seasons well. With a good light sauce made from the steak juices. Burger. Asked for medium rare and that's exactly what I got. Cooked and seasoned very well. The fries were fresh and amazing. We had asked for ranch. But they don't serve ranch here. They had a sour cream base dill sauce instead. And it was very light and tasty. Went with the fries and burger well. Potatoes. Not overly salted at all. If anything you'll need to add your own. Which is a good thing. You can always add but you can't remove salt. Mac n cheese. Sooooo rich in flavor. One of my favorite Mac n cheeses I've had in the area. Yellowfin spicy tuna. Served on tempura eggplant chip. It's SOOOOOOO good please get this you won't be disappointed. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is rich, wealthy, healthy and lively. Would I recommend this place? Without a doubt. We've been to the original location on pch. And it's good as well. However that location is super loud and crazy. This location is more of a fine dining romantic dinner place. The other location is more of a bar that has good food lol. Go and try it out! If you like steak and some really good appetizers and sides? Can't go wrong here. Decor: upscale and modern. Service/staff: excellent no issues. Food: far above average. Bathrooms: clean, no issues.

The food and drinks are spectacular. The service Isabelle provided was even better. Her knowledge of the menu and cocktails made for an awesome brunch. When I Newport Coast this place is a must

Good but probably won't be back... The atmosphere is very good and the decor, beautiful. Our server, Daniel, was exceptional and attentive. The food was... Not my favorite. I ordered the pizza and while the cheese was great, the meat on top was unseasoned and the crust was burnt (literally had black edges around the entire top). We were with a group of people so I didn't say anything to the staff but for this quality of restaurant, I would have expected them to not send it out. I ordered a Vibe Check cocktail as well (cucumber vodka with refreshing mint notes). It was unbalanced and tasted like they used regular vodka with cucumber garnish. It was extremely strong as well. Overall, the staff, decor, and the company I had saved the experience for me here. I probably won't be back unless my friends drag me there again. For the price and the area, perhaps I just expected more.

A Crystal Above is just flat-out outstanding. The food is always fresh, packed with flavor, and clearly made with love. The service is spot-on — friendly, fast, and genuine. And the vibe? Exactly what you want — welcoming, comfortable, with great energy. In a world where too many places treat you like just another customer, this spot actually cares. You can feel it from the second you walk in until the second you leave. I’ve been here a bunch of times and it’s been excellent every single visit. Just wanted to say thanks — you guys really get it right.

Google
Such a cool atmosphere and amazing food!! The place is pricey but WORTH IT! If you are looking for a place that checks all the boxes on what makes a high quality restaurant, this is the place for sure! We came here with a large group and the staff so kindly accommodated us and took great care of us. The food was exceptional and I highly recommend the brown butter and sage ravioli. So yummy!! And then the basque cheesecake??? So. Good!! 12/10, will definitely be returning. I think Jake or Andrew took care of us? Either way, Pelion thanks you!

Everything was perfect, the rib eye was best, lamb chops were fatty and juicy too. Oyster was super fresh, the sides i loved the spinach gnocchi, others were just so so. Overall I definitely recommend this place. Cocktails were also delicious and strong.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my 23rd birthday and the workers were very welcoming upon arrival. They gave me a menu that said "Happy Birthday" on it, gave me a FREE dessert, and a card wishing me a happy birthday with a bunch of signatures from the workers. As for the food, you HAVE to get the Yellowfin Spicy Tuna it was SOO GOODD 10/10 We also got the Steak Tartare 7/10, Dirty Pasta 6/10, Truffle Fries 10/10. When entering the restaurant, the lights were dim and gave a warm welcoming feeling. With candles at each table and settle lighting, it felt like a warm hug. I WILL be returning for some more Yellowfin spicy tuna

Yelp
A nice elevated and cozy restaurant with a vintage aesthetic located by the beach highway. Visited on a weekend evening from LA with one of my girlfriends and we had a fun time enjoying some cocktails at the bar. The bartenders and front desk host were all very friendly and attentive. PSA: There's a free vintage photobooth in the back of the restaurant for anyone looking! Photo quality was really great :)

Yelp
The world's smallest $62 Chilean Sea Bass fish plate (not really, but maybe ‍) We've eaten here a bunch and have generally had a good experience. But this tiny laughable piece of fish was served to me yesterday as a full-sized entree. I didn't complain. I didn't ask for a manager. I was simply in awe that they could serve this as a "Larger" (as listed in their menu) entree with straight faces . Whatever you do, don't order this. Just get the Lobster Cobb and the Branzino. For Christ's sake, the slivered carrot looks huge compared to it. We are all still laughing about this today.

Yelp
What a fun place to go! The ambiance is gorgeous & rich, and the bar (being central) makes for a great place to sip a cocktail & people watch. I have been their for brunch & dinner, and have njoyed both. The food is consistent, but the cocktails are better! The service is good, but they get busy, so be prepared to fight for that! We went once on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet, but Friday & Saturday are crazy busy! Make sure to have a reservation if you want to eat!

Yelp
First time here We came to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary and was pleasantly surprised that the drinks, food, service, and ambiance were all equally great. It's rare to find a restaurant this sexy that can also put out good food and a good price. We ordered the Spicy Yellowfin Tuna appetizer which was great. A Caesar salad that had delicious friend capers. And a Ribeye with a side of mushrooms. The portions were all shareable and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
This spot is super cu tree and the service was great - i would share some mains so you get to try everything. They have a photo booth that's free and overall the ambiance was very elegant and pretty. The food was great and the portions in comparison to the price for a spot like this was fair. The seating is a little odd for big groups but groups of 5 or under should be ok. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
As always, tranquility throughout this area. $15 parking. Walk down or use the bus. Plenty of restroom, either at the top or by the shore. Lots of historical cottages, place to eat and also check out the nature.

Yelp
A Crystal Cove has it all: peek-a-boo ocean views, Gatsby aesthetics, house-esque music (think Rufus Du Sol), elevated food and craft cocktails. I've been to their sister restaurant in Newport Beach (while cozy, they have a more mature demographic), but prefer this location as it's more youthful, though I still see folks of all ages which I appreciate too. My husband and I started coming here fairly regularly over the past couple months. Michael and Jared at the bar are the best in customer service around and we love having them serve us when we go. We have only sat at the bar or bar booths because this place books up with reservations with no wiggle room during prime evenings, and we are more "spur of the moment" type diners. Our go to food items are; spicy yellowfin tuna (their top appetizer), grilled caesar salad, chicken piccata w/ cacio e pepe, and their burger. p.s. I love using their free photo booth everytime we go. It adds a playful and fun vibe to the place. Such a great idea.

Yelp
I really love this location! It's located across from Javier's and is definitely more of a modern/upscale vibe compared to the other A's in Newport which is more classic. I also loved the photo booth in the back, and the fireplace up front. Service was great, our server was super friendly and thoughtful, and even surprised us with dessert which was very much appreciated. For food, we got the following: - Squash Blossoms: Very good, the sauces it came with complimented it well, and it wasn't too rich. - Grilled Caesar: Loved this, the char added a really nice flavor to the salad, and I definitely want to try making this at home. - Filet: A very good steak. It was cooked perfectly and was super flavorful. Definitely one of the better ones I've had in OC - Broccolini: Can't go wrong with this, it was solid. Overall I personally think I'd come to this location again over the others just for the vibe and food, it was a great experience.

Yelp
Located in the heart of Crystal Cove. Great ambiance and very reasonably priced for its location. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Drinks: They have a fairly large bar. I tried two whiskey drinks and enjoyed them both. FOOD - Oysters 5/5: So plump and fresh! Glad they offered two different types of horseradish. (Creamy vs raw) - Salmon Crudo 4/5: Also very fresh and the yuzu sauce complimented the fish very well. - Caesar Salad 4/5: Crunchy and well tossed. The heart of palms slices really set it off. I chose skirt steak as my protein of choice and it was cooked perfectly. So tender and flavorful. - Lobster Cobb 4/5: This salad was stacked. Great dressing and filling even for a salad. Only con was that the lobster was slightly on the fishy side. - Dirty Pasta 3.5/5: Not as memorable but still somewhat good. The sauce was a little sweet.

Yelp
Came here tonight with my good friend Curt and had an amazing dinner with great food and excellent service. This restaurant is top notch and you cannot go wrong by choosing to dine here. The ambiance is classy and upscale. Great place for a date night. We started with sitting at the bar with a few drinks. Great selection of wine and cocktails. Also great service. Was a little surprised when they wouldn't let Curt transfer his bar tab to his dinner tab in the main dining room. The dude said he HAD to close his tab at the bar. That was probably bullshit because I bartend at another fine dining restaurant and I always say that to the bar guests that want to transfer their tab so I don't have to deal with the server tipping me out on that bar tab. But whatevs. No biggie. The food was amazing. Started with the Tuna Tartar and the Squash Blossoms. Both were phenomenal. Omg. Some of the best apps I've ever had. I then got the Caesar Salad and I loved it. Huge salad that could easily feed two people. I ate it all by myself. Gotta get my calories. I then got the Filet with their Mac N Cheese and Snap Peas. Everything was on point. The steak was good. Not the best I've ever had. But I eat steak everywhere. I ordered it Medium Rare but it came out Medium. No biggie. I was hungry and I don't like sending food back. Mac N Cheese and Snap Peas were delicious. Hot and tasty. My friend Curt got the Halibut and he loved it. Said it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Ended the night with the Chocolate Sin Cake with Oreo pudding on the side. Omg. Amazing dessert. Loved it. Can't go wrong with this one. Also got a Cappuccino and Port. Both were on point. Their wine list is good. Not the best I've seen but very competitive. I love how it is half off all bottles and glasses on Tuesday. We ended up getting a French Burgundy Grand Cru. $280.00 bottle for $140.00. Delicious French Pinot Noir that went perfect with our steaks. Service was on point. Our server (didn't catch her name) was very attentive and helpful with her suggestions. Also appreciate the wine director Jason got stopping by and saying hello. Very professional Wine Director. Highly recommend dining here. Side note: If you're a grown ass man, order your own steak. Stop splitting steaks with your woman. If you can't afford to order your own steak you shouldn't be dining here. And lastly, definitely NOT a place for kids. Don't bring your toddlers and SUV sized strollers in the restaurant. GTFOH with that.

Yelp
Amazing experience here! Walked in with a reservation at 6:30 (get there early so you can find parking unless you choose to valet- the parking situation is wild but worth it in the end). The bar was almost full and had a great vibe immediately. We were greeted by our server as we sat down, told the specials and we ordered from the cocktail menu. Cocktails were all SO good! Between 3 of us, we tried a variety and can't wait to try more. We were able to have our cocktails and just order over time. We ordered and shared: Squash blosssoms Caesar salad- add chicken Cacio e pepe Chicken piccata Chocolate pie dessert (unsure of the name) Everything was amazing! I'd order it all over again. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I spent my 22nd birthday here a few weeks back and have been meaning to leave a review! The sweetest service and made me feel so special. The whole staff signed a birthday card for me! I've never had that happen before and it was a nice gesture. The food was great! What really sold me was the ambiance! Great lighting, quiet, and intimate. I would definitely recommend doing your celebrations here with how well we were taken care of. I went here because my name started with and A and saw some hype on social media. The hype is valid! Don't forget to stop in their photobooth :)

Yelp
We had dinner here on a Saturday night with a reservation. The bar area is very nice and is constantly busy. Very hard to walk in and score a seat if you don't have a reservation. This is a very vibey place. Perfect for a date night or intimate dinner with friends. For drinks we ordered the black manhattan, a smoked old fashioned and the Traveler which was a fancy tequila based cocktail. Drinks were great as would be expected for a place like this. For appetizer we ordered the oysters and the yellowfin tuna. The oysters were ok, nothing special. The yellowfin tuna was served on a fried eggplant which was unique and tasty. For entrees we ordered the dirty pasta and the skirt steak. The dirty pasta was tasty and a generous portion. The steak was flavorful and juicy but a little on the chewy side. Service was very good. Shoutout to the floor manager who had an eye on all the tables and would check in if drinks were running low to make sure customers were happy.

Yelp
The cocktails are great here. The gin blossom was my favorite. It was floral and fruity without being too sweet. I haven't had a drink like it before. The appetizers were a little hit or miss. The Spicy Tuna and whipped feta was delicious. The octopus was good, but I would have preferred it a little more charred. The chorizo was a little too dry for me as well. The oysters were ok, but nothing special. For main dishes, the steaks were all cooked perfectly. The halibut was very interesting. The nut crust mixed with the balsamic mango salsa was delicious. The fish itself wasn't that flavorful though. The desserts were very good. I think the best thing on the menu was the Strawberry Rhubarb Tart. The filling wasn't too sweet and went so well with the vanilla ice cream. The lemon cheesecake was also very good. It was almost a denser lemon tart. The corn Madelines were good, but were probably the worst dessert we tried. I think they would taste better if they were rolled in cinnamon sugar. The service was very good. The waiter was very helpful in giving suggestions. Also it is a beautiful restaurant. The parking can be difficult but they do have valet. Overall I think this a very good restaurant. My only complaint is not being super blown away by everything just because of the high cost.

Yelp
We loved this place... Best advice is if you can't make a Rez. Go on around 5:00 even on a Saturday and you'll have your pick of the bar tables(super cozy booths) or the extra large bar with seating for at least 20 people. We had the best waiter, Jared. So on point not just with us but everyone he was serving. We enjoyed our wine ( $35.00 corkage fee) the yellowtail app and the squash blossoms with Mexican cheese. Our main was the perfectly prepared salmon. The parking is very plentiful at this time... if you arrive after 6:00 you will wait. We will be back for the burger

Yelp
We were here for a birthday dinner. This was a first time. We were a party of 6. The atmosphere is a classy, dim lighting ambiance where the restaurant was pretty busy especially in the bar area. We started with the squash blossom that tasted like a mix of a chile relleno with a a tempura. It was stuffed with cheese and had a nice sauce that complimented it well. Totally recommend this starter. The duck liver pate was also really good. Our group had the Salmon, the Burger, the Tuna Salad, the rack of lamb that came with a side of pasta. All of it was all great! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My friend that got the salmon was amazed by his meal: Finally, great service! The server did great with her recommendations and over great service! . Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever had brunch here before. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. Our favorite people were working and there were some great regulars at the bar and the nearby tables. Boy did we have a Sunday Funday! They have half off bottles of champagne flowing! They have a special brunch menu and I had the best seared ahi salad I think I've ever had and I think I order them everywhere I go, when they're on the menu. The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so vibrant with so many friendly faces and staff you just can't go wrong. My friend had the steak and eggs, which was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We were too busy having fun to get photos this time, but take my word for it. You won't regret it! Paris and Jared are the best! We'll be back like always. Thanks guys.

Yelp
Absolutely horrid. I went last night and it is the last time I will ever go to this restaurant. The chicken sandwich was all burnt breading. Possibly the worst chicken sandwich I have ever seen, fast food included. The bartender was nice and offered to replace the chicken sandwich. I replaced the chicken sandwich with a burger. The burger was raw on the inside and not good. Aside from the food, the ambience of this place has also significantly declined since its opening. Do not go here or you will regret it.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 off on wines . Great service too ! The bar and the high tops are self seatings so you don't need a reservation for that either. Mostly just drank and only had their truffle fries and the fries were so good

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! While we have frequented the original location, we were pleased to discover that there was a new location which we found to have better ambiance. The restaurant is located in the Crystal Cove shopping mall. We came at a good time so there was ample parking even though this plaza usually gets pretty crowded. The new location has a gorgeous interior and decor which made it have an upscale and elegant vibe. The hostess seated us at a booth which was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us. They have a robust menu with a lot of options which we like. We ordered the heirloom tomato and burrata salad, the Chilean sea bass tacos, roasted brussel sprouts, and the bone in ribeye. Everything was delicious! The heirloom tomato and burrata salad was fresh and the cheese was high quality. The Chilean sea bass tacos were scrumptious and the fish inside the tacos was flavorful. The brussel sprouts were either baked or boiled so they were soft and supple, exactly the way we like it. The bone in ribeye steak was amazing as well! It was cooked perfectly with excellent flavor and very juicy! We ordered a cappuccino and espresso with the corn madeleine desserts which was a perfect was to end dinner! You could tell the desserts were freshly made in house and the vanilla ice cream that came with it complemented it perfectly. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was exceptional and we'd definitely come back again.

Yelp
Great food + great vibes + great staff. The type of place that you can't get enough of! Loved every meal from appetizer to the meal to the dessert. Drinks were tasty as well. Great for photos too, super cute booths!

Yelp
This is how dining out should be! The server, Emmanuel, provided a friendliness and professionalism that was quite welcoming. Often times servers attempt to feign positivity in hopes of padding their pockets, that was certainly not the case here, truly phenomenal service! From the appetizers all the way through dessert my palate danced with joy from the intricately balanced flavor profiles. The manager, Jason, also made the experience memorable with his expert knowledge of wines and thorough understanding of the original A restaurant history. An amazing place to come for any occasion with a lovely ambiance which sets it off perfectly. A must try!

Yelp
Came here for dinner at 7:15 and had such a splendid time. Our server is Maddie and she was excellent. The vibes are really nice. The ambience is great. It gets a little loud, but that's fine. The food was good, not superb but it's a vibe. We thought the service and attention to detail was really good. I think this is a great date night or group get together or just coming in to try their drinks. The bar reminds me of the great Gatsby just come in hang out and look cool. The parking sort of sucks in the venue- you can valet or park far and walk.. we came on a Thursday night and it was jam packed. Would come back to try other things Ps, Photo Booth is a plus! Soooo cute

Yelp
The atmosphere was very peculiar in the most outstanding form. I loved how attentive my waitress was and recommended some amazing drinks and food. I definitely would come back here again! It was a whole experience, I loved that I was able to catch a photo sesh at the end at the photo booth they have by the restrooms!

Yelp
The newest location really allows this restaurant to spread its wings and shine. The room itself is gorgeous, Vibey decorated very eloquently, but still classy and cool. It is the a pitta me of a destination-type restaurant...from the valet out front to the professional greeting at the door. You will be impressed the moment you walk in. The bar area itself is gigantic and their specialty house cocktails are some of the best I've had lately. Sup many great choices. The restaurant space itself has tons of cool corners and booths again, adding to the special occasion vibe. The food is extremely well done American fair stretches that term. I enjoyed some beautifully done squash blossoms, Hamachi Crudo, along with their house specialty pizza and a gigantic 40 ounce tomahawk that was the talk of the restaurant. Honestly, glad I was with a group of people, so I was able to see a bunch of other items from the menu. Everything looked amazing and tasted the same. The only negative is the service was pretty poor the night that I dined. The table waited a few minutes to even be greeted... another 10 minutes at least before water was offered. Once the restaurant slowed down as the night progressed service was more attentive, but I would say that's the one thing keeping this from being a five star stand out destination for me. It's still one of Orange County's best overall dining experiences available, so if you're wondering if you should give this place a try it's a no doubt great night out.

Yelp
Food was good but way overpriced. Our server Hannah was amazing. However, I will NEVER come to this restaurant again. They sneak in an additional 2.5% charge for "employee benefits". It's not MY responsibility to pay for the employee benefits, it's the responsibility of the establishment. This is pathetic and disgusting and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this sneaky business practice.

Yelp
Went to celebrate my birthday with my family ( 3 ppl) and we were rushed by the server because he said he needed the table for his party. We orders apps and then dinner all within maybe a little over an hour. No time for desert. We had a reservation. It's not like we just walked in. Why would we get seated at a table where we literally had to eat and run. Def will not be back. So disappointing.

Yelp
This was a girls' group dinner celebrating someone who pretty much has everything, so might as well fancy it out. I didn't read any reviews on here until after we went, and my fellow Yelpers nailed it. High design, elevated menu, definitely high class, and the prices to match. We all ate family style and still shelled out almost $100 each. But the clubby vibe during dinner amped up quite a bit after 9pm when DJ Throbak, perched above the hallway to the restrooms, turned up the volume on the 90s and y2k hip hop hits. The food that our foodie friends at the table ordered for communal consumption, thankfully, did not disappoint. My least favorite was the standard pizza, and my most memorable one were the oysters. The spicy marg was a table favorite with its fresh taste and red peppered, salted rim. Our server was definitely seasoned in large group management. It is a wait in between appetizers and entrees, but many of us hadn't seen one another in months, so it wasn't too noticeable. Don't regret coming here and experiencing this all for myself. $8 valet fee isn't too bad compared to LA!

Yelp
Ambiance of this place is modern and chic, the decor and plush creative furnishings make you feel like you are having dinner in a bourgeoise French lounge. The artwork on the walls is an eclectic mix of styles and adds warmth to the overall vibe. We ordered the carrots, Cacio y Pepe and the Halibut. Carrots were perfectly tender, the fresh dill added a nice flavor to the carmelization on the rainbow carrots. The Cacio y Pepe pasta was more lemony than I've ever had but it was pleasant and buttery. It was quite lite on pepper but we asked for a grinder and added our own. The halibut was the star of the show, the artichokes, potatoes and tomatoes which accompanied the lemon caper sauce made the halibut sing with flavor. I'd go back nightly just for this dish. Our server was pleasant and they recognized my friends birthday with a special menu and dessert! LOVE this place!

Yelp
Great spot for brunch!! We were denied seating at RH Ocean Grill so we headed to A Crystal Cove. Four of us sat at the bar and enjoyed the pancakes, cheeseburger, breakfast pizza and a 1/2 price bottle of Champagne. I give it 5 stars!!!!!

Yelp
Went for drinks with a few friends before our reservation at Javier's. The ambience was great and My friends liked their martinis and wine. We also got a lemon drop, margarita, a kiss and tell and a Cosmo. All of which were underwhelming. The kiss and tell was by far the worst, undrinkable even. It tasted like a drink you would get at the swim up bar at an all inclusive where every drink tastes indescribably bad. All four of us agreed it was the worst drink we had ever had. Thinking it could only get better we ordered a cosmo and margarita and both were similarly disappointing. For the abundance of people in the establishment it was shocking. The service was fine, Nice and understanding staff. Free photobooth which is always fun. The star of the show was definitely the martinis which we all loved. Wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
I can eat here everyday. Food, service and ambiance are all perfect! Why do I need to add more words? Everything is perfect.

Yelp
From the ambiance, to the delicious food and great service, I'm highly recommending this place! Everything we had was good but my favorite was the BBQ Heirloom Carrots. The dill herb dressing was the perfect pairing with these well cooked and seasoned rainbow carrots. My my main course I tried the Brioche French Toast. This was finger licking good! Very well cooked which was soft on the inside and lightly crisp on the edges.. a lot of places over cook French toast but this one was well marinated! The mascarpone cream was the perfect pairing for this as it wasn't overly sweet. It actually balanced the sweetness from the french toast. Since it was my birthday, my friends truly spoiled me and we got all 3 desserts which were: 1. Chocolate Silk Pie 2. Cinnamon Churros (Sat & Sun Brunch Only) 3. Vanilla ice cream The churros were good but a little overcooked. Loved the dulce de leche that came with it. The chocolate silk pie was very smooth and actually tasted good with the vanilla ice cream. I should have worn my big girl pants.. I was stuffed!

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants when I'm home. Service is always impeccable. We recently came to celebrate my mom's birthday, and they were so kind to give us menus that read "Happy Birthday" as well as an ice cream dessert. Definitely order the spicy yellowfin tuna- the tuna comes atop tempura fried eggplant and it is the perfect appetizer. The charred octopus is great as well. The fancy pizza is another favorite -It is a very nontraditional pizza but with very unique flavors. Have tried the standard pizza as well but it is unremarkable compared to the fancy one. The short rib ravioli could do with less sauce but was still very good. For cocktails, we tried the gilded lily and the vibe check, and they were so refreshing and quite strong. Presentation was great as well.

Yelp
This place is one of the few places in Orange county that has same level of classiness and food quality and staff service. Whenever we have guests from out of town, this is our to go place. I love them for brunch, easier to get reservations and ocean breeze makes your experience different. Their variety of cocktails is very impressive. I usually get Mimosa but this time I ordered Espresso Martini!!! loved it! Totally recommended if you go there for Brunch. We ordered following: Appetizer: Charred Octopus- Spicy yellowfin Tuna Main: short Rib Omelette All very tasty and delicious. Short Rib Omelette came with yummy hash browns. Can I go there everyday?

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and we went for brunch a few years ago and the food was incredible -- especially the french toast. Staff were so nice and presented a beautiful mimosa flight and did a great job talking about unique events happening at the restaurant (ex. nye party-- although i'm unsure if this is still a thing)

Yelp
Food 3/5 Price 2/5 for the food we got Cocktails 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 (exceptional) Food: we ordered the scallops ($32), Ribeye ala carte ($70) + a side of potatoes ($15), chicken piccata with a side of pasta instead of the veggies ($35), squash blossoms ($19) and the peach pie dessert. The worse dish was the chicken piccata, the dish was served entirely cold, the pasta was extremely undercooked, and chicken was very chewy and tough. It was as if it was reheated and not served fresh. With the price of $35 this was a 1/5 dish. Then the Ribeye and fries, for this price I would go to Mastro's few doors down. I also like the steak at Olea/Iron Horse significantly better. Based on the value and how it was not cooked the way we had asked for (it was served completely raw), I give it a 3/5. This is an upscale restaurant and I expected more. The squash blossoms: 3 blossoms were served and my god they were delicious. Again when a dish is expensive you expect outstanding and this plate definitely delivered. 5/5 The Scallops: delicious, but overpriced for 3 scallops served as an appetizer over a sauce and not an entree. 4/5 Cocktails: We ordered a few and they were more on the sweet side for our taste, but still very good. 4/5 Dessert: The peach pie, very flavorful and a good portion for sharing between three people. 5/5 Of course the atmosphere is stunning, especially the bar area. Our server was extremely attentive and professional. She was a major part of the positive experience. Given our food quality was a hit and miss (mainly a miss on the entrees) A is not high on my list for going back. It's more for hanging out or if you're looking to hook up like how it is at Javier's.

Yelp
Oh thank God. We had to run around in this area to find a fancy restaurant for dinner. This restaurant is quite romantic and look so classy. I was attracted by the tall lamp in the middle of the bar so we took a seat here to enjoy the drink and food. well, food here i can give 7,8/10. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty. the bartender are super nice to us and very friendly. I so in love with the atmosphere here. This awesome dining experience here make definitely come back for a date or special dinner. make sure you got resv. before walk in during weekend. Thank you.

Yelp
A at Crystal cove- pretty close. More like A~. Great decor- elegant and bougie. The crowd was about what I'd expect for a weeknight but I heard it is quite a scene on the weekend nights. Food was good- the mushroom soup could have used a tad more seasoning. My friend enjoyed her avocado humus. Given my weakness for the perfect craft cocktail, I did knowingly indulge in the "elevated" aka very expensive cocktail offering with a Chopin martini- served up with olives and onion. It was worth almost every penny. Tess was our server and took excellent care of us. This is a nice place for the occasional visit. Valet parking, which is easily bypassed if you don't mind the few minute walk from the rest of the large public lot.

Yelp
My time at A Crystal Cove was very good! We went when the Dodgers won the World Series, which made it even better! The food was great, and they even have a free photo booth! Such a fun vibe!

Yelp
We made reservations to celebrate my mom's birthday and asked for a window table, which they had a problem with initially and tried seating us in the back. The restaurant is beautiful and our server made our experience one to remember. I wish I could remember his name. We've never had octopus so tender, but the chorizo picante was burnt. The pizza was overbaked but had good flavor. Their portions are reasonable. The halibut was excellent. The short rib ravioli was filled with the perfect amount of meat and had good flavor. My brother loved the New Zealand lamb, although the mint emulsion chimichurri was a terrible pairing. The mac n cheese combined excellent cheeses, and lots of manchego. It needed more thickening but was otherwise good. We ended with the cheesecake - good filling but the crust needs help. The apple pie was pretty good, especially the caramel sauce.

Yelp
I came by last weekend for lunch with my girlfriends. The ladies in the front were welcoming and sat us right away. It wasn't very packed as it was early. The bar on the left portion of the restaurant was beautiful. I ordered a Virgin Mojito which was good. My friends both had Margaritas which must have been good as they ordered again. We ordered Spicy Yellowtail first. It was so good that we ordered one more. It was fresh yellowtail perfectly spiced (not spicy) over tempura fried eggplant and drizzled with eel sauce. This was the best thing we ate! I ordered Lobster Cobb salad. There were tiny pieces of lobster on the top in a thin line. There were more eggs than I can eat in a week that covered most of the bowl with sliced teardrop tomatoes in one corner. The greens were beneath it all. When I ordered, I informed the waitress that I'm allergic to soy beans and tofu. She reassured me that it's not something they put in the salad and the dressing is a vinaigrette. Well, my particular salad had nothing on it. It had zero flavor. I basically picked the tiny lobster bits and couldn't eat the dry concoction posing as a salad. I didn't make a big deal as I didn't want to ruin my time with my friends. One of my friends got lobster Benedict and she seemed to have enjoyed it. My other friend ordered the breakfast bowl which must have been amazing as she kept raving how good it is. In the end, my friends wanted a dessert. They got the crust less cheesecake for us to share. They kept saying how good it was, so I decided to take a tiny bite. Soon after we paid the bill and left, I began noticing that I must have had something with soy in it (even though I informed the waitress of my allergies). Luckily I was prepared to tackle it. If I didn't have my meds, I would have ended up in the hospital. I suspect it was the dessert. I'm quite irritated that the waitress didn't check on the dessert for my allergies and that they put nothing (dressing) on my salad to punish me for asking about soy products. Even if it was merely an accidental oversight in the kitchen, it's the way it made me feel. Although I loved the spicy yellowtail tuna, it's not worth a return for me. My friends experience 5 stars My experience 2 stars. So to be fair, I'll give it 3.

Yelp
Such a great location. Can't go wrong with the filet and the yellowfin tuna is my go-to appetizer! Great service and lovely atmosphere!
