Amazing! I lived in boulder for little bit and was just visiting and found this gem with vegan options! It was sooooo yummy, filling, and also refreshing. Nothing was too heavy; overall very nice and I wish this spot was here when I was in college 😢! Lots of seating and fast service. The girl working today was really nice too.

Google
The best kimchi fried rice w/ tofu a person could get! The taste was exceptional & the service was spectacular. Overall the experience was a 10/10.

I am NOT local guide. I am a just treveller from Korea(south) Anseong si. Had dubbob for lunch. spicy one. Many kinds of veggies such as chopped pumpkins/spring onions/carrots/cabbages, ....... Son picked spicy chicken dubbob rather I choose beef dubbob. The taste of Homemade Kimchi is not much different from Koreans. Warning! Spicy is spicy! Hahahaha Be aware that the taste has been localized little bit. However it is still so delicious. Most of American customers around me, choosed bibimbob.

Google
Absolutely delish. Popped in here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. All the standard Korean options, then a burrito for kicks (which you must try!). Significant amount of vegan options for the dishes since it's mostly "choose your protein destiny" style. It was a nice quiet place at lunch time, good for conversation. Also recommend their house healing tea - really rejuvenating. Food options have spice level availability.

Google
Not really what I expected at all based on the pictures. The Tteok-bokki was in like a soup we thought it was more cheesy which is what we wanted. The dumplings definitely different Everything else didn’t have much flavor. I think it’s more like a healthier spot if you like that then this is for you. Not many drink options either. We all got different noodle plates but they were all the same. Pretty pricey definitely wouldn’t mind paying but not what we expected.

Google
Very nice Korean cuisine with unique flavours. Most of the menu items are vegan or that can be made as vegan dish.

Google
We love their dishes and I only had a honey tea once. Very satisfied and good, we like that they have organic tofu, beef and chicken. Their new menu Kimchi fried rice with mild spice is pretty good, and also we love their Korean BBQ burrito though I thought it would be little bit weird.

Google
Came here after I saw a Groupon for $10 and the menu looked different and healthy. Got there as they opened. A couple outdoor tables and few more inside. Small but nicely varied menu. Got the Korean bbq bowl with tofu, mixed green instead of the rice and asked for side of kimchi with the bowl medium spicy. They had issues with the Groupon but still took care of me then with a cash back. Prepared fast to go. Owner tried to give me a cookie for the troubles but since I got the deal price in the end it felt wrong but I thanked her. While the dish had a bit more carrots then I would have liked to have it was a lot of food. The tofu was fairly small pieces but there was a lot of them in there. No kimchi on the side as I requested but I wonder if it was added as that was another option. The medium was a bit tame for my love of spice so next time will go hot. Good healthy food for the price so I will return. Only giving four stars due to wanting to go again soon and see if consistency. Then I will change to five. So if you see five…

Yelp
We've been many times and have always had great food. Love the noodle bowls and the kimchi fried rice is so good. Boulder's hidden gem. Especially if you are gluten-free.
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
My wife and I were very excited to come try A cup of Peace given the gluten free options and delicious looking menu though upon walking the door we were immediately turned off and after some debate had to leave. The noise level in there was a 15 out of 10. So very uncomfortable we could not stomach it. People were standing all over the restaurant, we were unsure of where to go to order. Apparently you order at the counter? No one greeted us or offered any assistance. It was an extremely chaotic atmosphere that we could not handle. Maybe getting food to go is the way to do it here? Very disappointed as we are from out of town and spent some time looking for somewhere to eat.

Yelp
Portion size has been reduced substantially, at the same price or more. Sad. I won't be buying anymore.

Yelp
Terrible food. Terrible service. Worst korean food I've ever had. I lived in Korea for several years, this is trash food at best.
google avatar

Aria B.

Yelp
First of all, they misspelled my name. That's an automatic 1 star for me. Aria has made it to the top 20 list. Just because you like game of thrones doesn't give you the right to assume that everyone is going to name their kid after a show that didn't even exist when I was born. The letter Y does not belong in the name. Now onto the real review, the person that took my order did not know anything about the food that was being served. I asked if they had glass noodles and he said yes. They do NOT have glass noodles. He was referring to the rice noodles. I ordered the Bibimbap. The beef came in cubes and has the consistency of dog food. The bulgogi marinade is completely off and it doesn't taste Korean at all. The food was definitely not what I was expecting and it was quite bland. I think the worst part about this whole experience is that the food is pricey, so I came in expecting some good Bibimbap. I shouldn't have to pay extra for dog food cubes that normally come with the dish. Overall, I would not come here again.
google avatar

Katie V.

Yelp
Everything here is so delicious and comforting, and the folks are so nice! Prices are reasonable and portions are great, especially for Boulder. It's our go-to Korean in the area! Plus great vegetarian options!

Vance N.

Yelp
Amazing bulgogi and tea, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Brian was super friendly and accommodating!
google avatar

Veronica D.

Yelp
Today we meet Brian who didn't just take our order but gave us a foodie experience we didn't expect to have when grabbing take out. The food was delicious. Such a sumple and cute place, dont let the stripmall fool you. We will be back!
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
So disappointing and not authentic. Flavors are not Korean, ingredients are improvised and not traditional and portion size is on the small size. I kept my expectations low as a Korean who has enjoyed outstanding Korean food in NYC, LA, Paris, Sydney and, of course, Seoul and who just moved back from HNL where there are hundreds of Korean dining options. This concept could be very good if they would adhere to some very basic flavor profiles and be generous with the ban chan and condiments. Korean food should pack a punch in flavor, not just spicy heat. Will try again in the near future and keep my fingers crossed.

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Amazing every single time I go there. The food is vegan/vegetarian and gluten free. I recommend the kimchi fried rice with an egg, as well as a mango boba with coconut milk, its chef kiss. Also, the staff is very helpful in explaining what they all have. The ambience of is nice and cozy with wooden seating greeting you as you walk in and the menu is scribbled on a chalkboard.
google avatar

Ellie N.

Yelp
Not too convincing. I ordered bibimpap and noodle bowl. Bibimbap: it's served in a stone bowl but it's room temperature. I understand that it might not be sizzling stone bowl bibimbap, but at least the rice should be hot/very warm. The bowl was cold. Everything in the bowl from veggies to rice was room temperature. Noodle bowl: surprisingly this bowl is warmer than the bibimbap. The bite size tofu is good. All the veggies seem fresh though. Both dishes have tons of veggies, which I appreciate a lot. Overall this place offer healthy/gluten free options, but the flavor is just not there.

Wesley W.

Yelp
Food is so good Service by Bryan and Will was solid Ambiance is super chill Bulgogi and multigrain la

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
We have been to A Cup of Peace twice in two weeks and expect to be regular customers. We've been here once for lunch and once for dinner and both times the employees were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable about the food. As vegans, who are also gluten-free, it was very comforting that the staff seemed to know exactly what was in each dish and how to modify it, if necessary. We twice had the burrito with a gluten-free rice paper wrap, and tofu. It was delicious and easily enough to split for two. The miso soup, which can be added to a meal for a small charge, was warm and comforting on a winter day. We also really enjoyed a cup of Jasmine tea, and had the hot water refilled several times to just sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Many people seem to come here to enjoy the peace, sit and chat, or perhaps even work. We will definitely be back!

Red D.

Yelp
If you're here for bibimbap, go somewhere else. Their "bibimbap" meat tastes like cut-up reheated hamburger patties. No bean sprouts, no glass noodles, no spinach, and their choice of rice isn't the norm for bibimbap dishes. It just ends up tasting like a strange salad bowl from any other restaurant. Service and Ambiance were fine. Hopefully they change their recipe.

Richard H.

Yelp
Got the beef bulgogi, it was delicious. Brian was also super friendly and helpful. 5/5, no question!

Jon S.

Yelp
Incredible food and Bryan made the experience even better! Will be going back with friends! Bibimbob and tteokbokki and citron boba for the win.

Yelp
I found myself in this relatively hole-in-the-wall cafe, on recommendation from my coworker. I never gave it much thought before, but once I stepped inside, I found it charming and incredibly down-to-earth. The humble atmosphere is complete with small occasional wall hangings and a wide mix of wooden furniture, akin to what you might find in a variety of antique stores. I didn't initially realize they served food until it was made into my lunch plan. Once I saw the menu, the burrito with beef was the obvious choice for me. Adding a fried egg was quite the cherry on top, worth the slight up-charge. The burrito was extremely flavorful, juicy, and overflowing. I chose medium, which was nice and slightly spicy, but not over the top. It was served in a pseudo-ramiken, which helped catch said overflow while consuming. All dishes per person were grouped on wooden platters, a nice touch. My coworker went with the bibimbap, which was also a healthy portion and flavored equally well. The staff we ordered from was very nice, patient and attentive. And a decent lunch rush came in right after us, which didn't seem to phase her in the slightest. We were incredibly pleased by this humble Korean cafe and will certainly be back.

Yelp
I have always loved this place, its simplicity and yummy healthy food. Today however, when I ordered take out and I got to my destination to eat, the rice was noticeably undercooked, and they forgot to include the sauce - which really ruined the meal. I wish restaurants would pay more attention to their take out orders because once you're gone it's too late to remedy a mistake. I will likely try this place again and will be extra careful to make sure they have done the basics...but it's awkward to open the take out food to make sure it's right.
google avatar

Nelu R.

Yelp
Not sure why or how this place doesn't have 5 stars... I tried it out last week and have been daydreaming about it since. I got the tofu bibimbap with a fried egg and it was seriously soooooo dang good. It was quite a generous portion and a nice mix of tasty veggies, delicious rice, and crispy tofu. I ate every last bit of it, and also tried some of my friend's spicy tofu soup which was sooooo good too. I can't wait to go back and try everything else!!

Maddie D.

Yelp
I've been to a cup of peace years ago and loved it. I went tonight and was more than disappointed. I got the bibimbap with beef. The beef was terrible. It honestly tasted like what I expect canned dog food to taste like. It was a very gross consistency like chewy but dry and soft at the same time. The taste of the beef was horrid. Aside from the beef, the bibimbap was mediocre. It was not flavorful and the sauce that was provided didn't enhance the taste. I was very disappointed and it was not worth the price of $50+ for two meals, one app and one cup of tea.

Yelp
Constantly craving this place. We originally went here once, a few years ago, but it has quickly become our go-to spot for both takeout or a quick lunch date. Seems almost hole in the wall-esque, but there are always people here.. which makes sense because the food is freakin DELICIOUS. Everything I have gotten here has been incredible. The Korean bbq bowl is probably my favorite thing, with Noodles being a close second. The spice is on point and super cozy in the best possible way. The food also always energizes me and puts me in a good af mood. 10/10. A must try for BoCo.

Michael E.

Yelp
Love cup of peace! One of my go to spots between classes. Really friendly staff and it's a pleasant place to get some work done while having a drink. The tteokbokki is phenomenal, and all of their teas are delicious.
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
Friend and I went here on a whim and gotta say it's a new fav easily. Loved that everything was (gf) and I could easily switch up the milk options with my Boba which was nice. I got the Korean curry and it was really good I recommend trying it though I wish a bit more meat was given and it was thicker like I'm more used to but still pretty good! The Tteokbokki wasn't bad and absolutely hit the spot and craving I have been having. Was it the absolutely best - no. However it was pretty dang good so just grab it if you have a hankering for it and don't want to make it at home. Next time I'll do spicy instead of mild. The Boba was good though I think there may have been a tad too much ginger or peppercorn in mine as it was pretty dang spicy for a chai that I wasn't used to but still good so eh. Either way I'll be back here when I am up again. Definitely try it out.

Yelp
This cafe was so cute and, well, peaceful. It would be lovely to have lunch here, and stay for a coffee and study. I Ordered the multi grain latte, which I can only assume was supposed to be misugaru but it just tasted like a regular iced coffee. I also ordered the kimchi fried rice with veggies and a fried egg. I will say it did not taste like what I expected, as a Korean person from LA, but it was very enjoyable and a great large portion. I could split the bowl into three whole meals! Although this place was far from the normal Korean restaurants/fare I am used to, the warm rice, spice, and crunchy kimchi deeply satisfied me. :) My friends ordered the bbq bowl with chicken, and while I did not try, it smelled and looked delicious!

Harold R.

Yelp
Delicious vegan options, and overall some of the best food and service in Boulder. We go at least once every time we visit Boulder and are never disappointed. Appears slightly hole in the wall but don't let that fool you, it is truly a great restaurant.
google avatar

Alix J.

Yelp
This place used to better from what I remember. Ordered a dub Bob bowl, rice, veggies and beef this time around, expecting it come with sliced beef but received hamburger meat pressed into the form of steak and spiced as such... The Jasmine boba tea is comprised of mostly milk instead of tea with milk. I love supporting small local businesses, but at $20 I expect a bit better
google avatar

Suzy M.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner, yum! I had the noodle bowl with tofu and it was so good I got it again this week. As a vegan who is picky, it's awesome to find places that cook clean and use fresh ingredients that also taste great! Feels like home cooking, will drop in again really soon.
google avatar

Cody P.

Yelp
Great casual Korean cafe. Relaxing environment and good service. I loved the bulgogi bowl I had here and will definitely come back in for lunch!
google avatar

Faby N.

Yelp
The suhn was very disappointing... I bought it with beef because I thought it was going to be well prepared . It tastes like ground beef with no seasoning or in other words, hamburger beef. This soup is so poorly executed and it tastes so simple. If you're going to sell KOREAN tofu soups, make sure to stick to it's original ingredients and not put hamburger meat in it! Just yuck! Other than that, I gave it 3 stars because it's bimipab is alright.
google avatar

Shiao June Y.

Yelp
I found this place off of Denver Food Scene's TikTok page, and it caught my eye because there's a lack of asian food in Boulder. I think it does veer on the the sweeter side, but it hits the spot if you're looking for a quick fix. Nothing too authentic, but it's like the equivalent of Tex-Mex!

Shelby B.

Yelp
I went here before my tattoo appt at Love You Tattoo parlor next door (who you should also consider for your tattoo needs). I got the kimchi fried rice with chicken. It was delish! Big-bowl portion, good chicken. I can't eat spicy foods and they were accommodating on the spice level. Some of their drinks looked good too! They have reusable steel cups and cutlery, the price is under $20! It's hard to get truly-hot food and I only had to wait maybe 12 min for a good meal. Good option for lunch fersure, I'll be back!
google avatar

RebaGG G.

Yelp
We had the most excellent, cozy lunch at Cup of Peace. I had the tofu bibimbop with fried egg. My daughter had the Zen platter. So delicious, ate every grain of rice!! Can't wait to come back and to the tofu soup! Everyone was friendly and so happy to be there. What a little gem in Boulder!
google avatar

Letitia I.

Yelp
I'm so happy A Cup of Peace is now on Doordash & that they are delivering to Longmont! I've always been a huge fan of their Noodle Bowls and love that they actually spice it up (if requested). You won't leave hungry! I usually have enough leftover for dinner as well. :)
google avatar

Ellen H.

Yelp
This place had a really nice selection of vegetables and many types of protein (vegan friendly options too.) Dup Bob- Korean Barbecue Bowl-- Is what I ordered with chicken and it was very good. I failed to take a photos since I was so hungry. Nice portion size of food with a salad as well that had light dressing but was the perfect amount. All the vegetables were very fresh and delicious. We also ordered the Traditional Korean Table Setting. It cam with lots of side dishes and a very good amount of food! I did get the gluten free chocolate chip cookies and it wasn't tasty. It may have been a day or so old because it was falling apart. Granted they are hard to execute and stay together without gluten. I would definitely recommend coming here and next time I am in Boulder I will be stopping by!

Artsy P.

Yelp
We love their tea and Bimibop. It's very comforting food, especially on a cold day. It's always tasty and has a balanced and array of subtle flavors and spices, as well as being a treat for the eyes. Thank you. Be safe and well.

Shay Q.

Yelp
Pricey but the food is pretty good and the portions are decent. The cashier was super friendly.

Ade R.

Yelp
Mediocre food. I don't feel welcome in this place. I rather drive to Aurora to get way better Korean food and better service.
google avatar

R D.

Yelp
Spicy tofu soup was watery with any 4 pieces of tofu floating around. It seemed like they just didn't care what they serve. Server was super rude and I saw her barely clean the cutlery but serving, so not sure about hygiene either. Won't be coming back.

Madison B.

Yelp
Love this place also nice inside food comes quickly and is always delicious great for healthy food and food allergies

Dara W.

Yelp
My 7 year old and I love this cozy spot for our mother daughter special dinners out. The noodles, vegetables and beef are so fresh and tasty. It's really not very authentic Korean food as I grew up in NJ eatings lots of Korean dishes but it is healthy and flavorful. A little pricey but good portion sizes.
google avatar

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
This is some of the best food I've ever had. Every time I bring people here, we leave with a date to come back. You have to try the multigrain latte and the herbal tea!
google avatar

Elise E.

Yelp
I've been coming here off and on for 4 years and it's a quiet place to get some healthy MSG-free food, medicinal teas and drinks, while enjoying their free wifi and relaxing atmosphere. A funny quirk about this place I personally appreciate is that the owner will come over and call you out if you're being too loud or talking on your cellphone. He wants to keep it a quiet peaceful place to relax and work. This is not the place to schedule your 2-hour monthly bookclub discussion; expect to be politely asked to leave. The owner provides Korean abdominal healing sessions out of this space as well, and while I haven't tried one yet I have heard good things (especially for IBS) and I plan to try that at some point. My favorite dishes are the Dorry (spicy healing soup) and various lunch combinations. I always leave here feeling satisfied and calmer.

Yelp
This is the second time I've made a pickup order on grubhub only to arrive during business hours and have the resturant be closed (currently 5:30 and their sign says they close at 7:30). i love everything about this place but it seems like pickup is not a very safe option.

S.R. G.

Yelp
We had the kimchi fried rice, zen meal, and tteokkbokki and everything was delicious. Freshly made, beautifully plated. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable and clean dining room. Adding this to our regular list.
google avatar

Evelyn S.

Yelp
I don't understand the good reviews, unless we went there on an off day. Had the Suhn tofu soup, and there was barely anything in it. Also extremely bland. My husband had the DupBob and all that was inside was meat and carrots. I don't eat meat, but he said that it was even less flavorful than my dish. I can definitely make better Korean food myself. Will not be back.

Will S.

Yelp
This cute little place is really hit or miss... my visit was definitely a two-star lunch experience, but the kimchi is good and they've had better food in the past - so maybe it was an off day? A friend and I were excited to try the new menu so we ordered two Stir Fry Rice Noodle Bowl with veggies, a side of kimchi and a sweet rice stick. The menu says the Noodle Bowl is "squash, carrots, cabbage and rice noodles sauteed in house sauce with your choice of protein" -- What came out of the kitchen after a long wait was not worth 25 bucks for two people: rice noodles sauteed in oil with some pitiful shredded carrot/red cabbage floating around in it and topped with a few shakes of sesame seeds. No sauce. No stir-fried squash. Yuck. You can order the meals in three spice levels: Mild/Med/Spicy, and we got "mild" so maybe their interpretation of mild spice means there's nothing on it? lol (The cook in the back called out to the owner that there was no soy sauce... so maybe it normally has that? There was plenty of soy sauce on the dining room condiment cart though.) When my friend mentioned to the counter guy that they forgot the squash, we got handed a little dish of 5 thin slices of RAW zucchini to split between us. uhhhh.... ???? * note the picture is the actual portion minus one slice. lame. Fortunately, the (vegan! yay!) kimchi was delicious and had notes of sesame oil and the table-side hot sauce made the noodle catastrophe at least edible. But only because the noodles were served warm. In the past, their bibimbap has been good (except that it shows up in various states of either being chilled or hot depending on who is cooking) and they have a nice assortment of boba teas, healing teas, fruit teas, and other drinks.. so maybe I'll give them another shot. But not in a hurry to go back. pro-tip: there's only one person making the food so give yourself plenty of time and order one of the rice crispy treats
google avatar

Connie A.

Yelp
Came to this place with high hopes for Korean food. Turns out there's a sign at the left hand corner of their menu before ordering that says "not your average Korean restaurant"....AND I AGREE. Their menu is not traditional Korean food, this is more Korean fusion than anything. I ordered the Spicy Korean Stew - "Dorry" with tofu and didn't finish. The soup was borderline like curry since there was carrots and potatoes in it...not for me. I wanted to keep an open mind and try it out and result? Don't come here if you're expecting authentic Korean food. If you're looking for a more hippie peace thing, this is the place. I don't understand the high reviews for this place. Super disappointed.

Yelp
Hello! I wanted to do a review of this restaurant... It has been probably like three years since I last went there, but my office has moved not far away and I am excited to say it is as tasty and flavorful as ever. I got the tofu curry and tofu barbecue and both were heavenly. The rice was delicious and had sesame seeds on top and had a nice nutty flavor. I ordered on door dash and it was ready promptly and before I was actually supposed to pick it up! I am so happy to be within range of this restaurant again so I can try some new dishes. A Cup of Peace has been in Boulder a long while for good reason! Yum! I am so glad there are fresh and healthy options at this restaurant.
