"Sort of out of nowhere, a bright, enormous sign with a font straight out of P.T. Barnum’s circus hangs over the sidewalk. Inside is the cilantro-centric, most flavorful aloo chaat on the west side of San Francisco. A takeout box of spicy potatoes and vegetables, slathered in a slurry of sauces, is well worth the money. Curries, dals, and biryanis are all on the menu here, too, with nothing more expensive than $20." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

Cute little India food restaurant, family owned. I talked to one of the owners for a while and they really keep it legit. It has an authentic flavor and good portions for what you pay for. The service was good and the food was hot, fresh and enjoyable. The dishes were packed with flavor and I felt that there was a perfect amount of spiciness to the food. I asked for mild and it was just right!

Came here to try out a new restaurant and the flavor definitely did not disappoint. Everything was on point and very light but filling. Service was a little slow, only because it seemed short staffed, but the waiter was quick to try and help as fast as he could. I think what we liked the most and felt was different here was the garlic nan as it was moist and light. Will definitely be back to try more stuff out!

Fantastic food. Great selection of everything you would want including chicken, lamb and vegetarian. The garlic Naan is a must and the desserts and drinks all contribute well. Service was best I've had in a while. Great local joint.

Chicken tikka, couldn’t have enough. Lamb thingy we got was good, first time I tried it though so can’t compare to other places. Spinach thingy was also good but have had better in other places. Bread was greaaat. One of the best mango lassi I’ve had. I think I would of gave this a 5 if the spice was a little bit stronger as a personal preference.

I was hoping this would be a no frills, "hole in the wall" kind of restaurant that served good Indian food. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and I feel the need to warn otthers and provide feedback. The 3 dishes lacked flavor and richness. There was not enough cream used in the cooking which resulted in the Tikka Masala having the texture of a blended puree. It was not pleasant. Even the Saag Paneer was lumpy (as seen in the picture). For those wanting a point of comparison, if a Trader Joe's Tikka Masala was a 6/10 ⭐, this would be a 4/10 ⭐. I've had my fair share of Indian food in California, and this was the first time I am disappointed. The place gets good reviews from other folk tho, which surprises me. But don't say I didn't warn you :)!

Awesome naan as its always cooked perfectly with on point flavors. Excellent curries including the vindaloo and masalas. Wonderful lassi. Great price. Perfect and friendly service. What else could you ask for from your friendly local neighborhood Indian restaurant? 5/5

Delicious, very homemade tasting Indian food. Less oily than the Indian restaurants we're used to. Ordered for pick up. Really nice gentleman at the counter.

Got the Saag Paneer, Hyderabadi Lamb Kofta, Garlic Naan, and Basmati Rice. Everything was delicious and perfectly portioned. Service was friendly and the food came out all together fairly quickly. Would go again/recommend!
