A Feng Shi Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this delightful restaurant, and I can confidently say that the food was absolutely delicious! Despite the absence of an English menu, the owner was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the options, making our experience enjoyable. One standout dish was the cold chicken, which was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend trying it if you visit! Overall, this restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with great food and welcoming service. I highly recommend it!

The place house a chef that apparently won quiet a number of local awards. They serve fusion local food. Overall the food is decent but the price is on the high side. When i was there, there is only 1 servicing staff working at the front, service wise can be slow but luckily we didnt have to wait too long for food. The one dish i really enjoy is their chicken, do give it a try.

This restaurant was in a short walking distance from our hotel and I saw a good rating, so we tried it out. The chef turns out to be very famous with awards and trophies. The food was incredible, the service was great, such a value for money. But please make sure you bring cash. For all that we had (4 dishes), it was only 1,480 TWD.

A must-visit gem at Sun Moon Lake! We had an amazing experience at A Feng Shi (Chef A-Fong) Restaurant. The atmosphere was peaceful and the setting near the Dragon and Phoenix Temple was perfect for a relaxing meal. The dishes were nothing short of works of art—beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The chef’s creativity shines through with each bite, especially the locally sourced ingredients that added a fresh and vibrant touch. The bamboo-tube rice and the Presidential Fish were absolutely standout dishes! Every detail, from the service to the ambiance, made this meal memorable. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, this is definitely a must-try restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation in advance—it’s popular for a reason!

Incredible food - menu only in Mandarin so had to use google translate camera but was ok to do. Fresh fish with chopped chillis, bamboo rice and the cabbage with garlic were all phenomenal. Shrimp rolls were really tasty though be aware the portion for them was huge (10 pieces) so better to order if in a bigger group! A ten min walk from the rest of the tourist area of Sun Moon Lake so felt really unique and special

Traditional Taiwanese restaurant near Sun Moon Lake. It was crowded and fortunate to find a table. The delicious spicy chicken was served with dry ice. Steam fish was oily but good. Sticky rice in bamboo was good too. Chicken soup was ok: the chicken was tough.

Creative foods very delicious in acceptable price. It’s set meal, you can’t individually order. the bowls and drink you may need self-service.
