A for Athens

Superb hotel with amazing views of Athens and the Acropolis. The roof terrace is stunning with panoramic views. Worth upgrading the bedroom to an Acropolis view. We had a junior suite which could not have been better. The staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast on the roof terrace is first class

Came for drinks at the rooftop restaurant/bar. Possibly one of the best views we saw our whole trip. Nice staff, good drinks and amazing location both day and night. Access is through the hotel entrance on the side of the building. Highly recommend!

The scenery was magical for our first evening in Athens. A good location with potential, however the neither the beverages or staff meet our expectations. We had to wait to receive menus, wait to order, wait to get the heaters on and wait to pay. Unfortunately the drinks did not quite match our likings but were not super expensive fortunately.

The hotel itself is honestly very nice and clean, the staff downstairs are very friendly and were helpful to us and even held our luggage and set up a taxi. The only negative in the room is that the AC in the room did not work at all. Now the bar is a different story, staff did not seem as friendly. I will say though that the bar is beautiful and offers an amazing view of acropolis that you cannot beat. However, the staff at the roof top bar were far from friendly. They offer a free voucher for a drink but don’t mention it’s only a cheap wine or bud light beer. They also seem annoyed if you use the voucher and only allow you sit in certain areas. In my opinion, maybe just don’t give out the voucher then. Even when having drinks another night and paying for them, we found it hard to get service. The servers were dancing and drinking alcohol at the bar while we waiting for a while. I know they were just having a good time and I’m okay with that but when we asked for the anything we got some attitude and I’m not sure why… Honestly, I would probably stay again due to the location, clean rooms and beautiful view of acropolis. Just giving my input in hopes some things can improve!!

A for Athens rooftop offers stunning views of the Acropolis and the city skyline. The ambiance is chic and relaxed, making it perfect for drinks or a meal. With great cocktails and friendly service, it’s a must-visit spot in Athens and in my opinion the best roof top on Athens!

Review is for the restaurant. You will not be disappointed by the rooftop views. Reserve early to guarantee a table at the edge overlooking the square with unobstructed view of the Acropolis. We arrived just before sunset so got bit day and night views. Casual to upscale feel and although menus limited the food is delicious. We hand the lamb appetizers and the grouper as the main course. The food was outstanding, possibly the best grilled fish we’ve ever eaten. Have dinner here and you won’t be disappointed.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from Monastiraki metro station, right in the heart of one of Athens' most vibrant areas. The rooftop view is a highlight—you can enjoy a stunning view of the Acropolis, which makes breakfast on the rooftop an unforgettable experience. However, the rooms are quite average and even feel a bit outdated. Some rooms have windows facing an inner courtyard, which is almost like having no windows at all, resulting in poor ventilation. Additionally, the rooftop restaurant turns into a bar at night, which can be a bit noisy for guests. Overall, while the location and rooftop views are fantastic, the room quality and nighttime noise might not appeal to everyone.

Perfect location. Just outside of a major metro stop on the line to the airport. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Alex was on the front desk and was so helpful and thoughtful anytime we needed anything. He also provided great insights and gave great recommendations when we had questions. The rooftop bar is amazing too and has an incredible view of the Acropolis. I highly recommend this hotel.
