A for Athens

This was my second time visiting Athens. My friend and I were looking for hotels in the city center for our 3 days trip, and after seeing the photos, we decided to stay at this hotel. Honestly, we are so glad we did. Thanks to this stay, we were truly able to enjoy our time in the city. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is situated in the heart of the city, and almost every place you might want to visit is within walking distance. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, especially Alex and Kostas at the front desk, as well as Stella, Angela, and Vasiliki at the restaurant. Their kindness, warmth, and attention made a real difference. The views from both the rooms and the restaurant were absolutely stunning. We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant on two evenings and enjoyed it very much — the fish and the spaghetti were both excellent. The bar was lovely, and we would definitely recommend their breakfast as well. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again if I return to Athens in the future.

The hotel is quite pricey but I'd say it's worth it. The location is stellar. The staff is really nice and you can really tell that they want to help you. The rooms were very comfy and clean. The shower was amazing. Bed are big. The only note I had to the rooms is that the beds were a little too soft for me but that's just a matter of preference. If you want to splurge a little this hotel is the way to go

I had the best experience at A for Athens, it was a magical stay the first time, and I had to come back again a week later, stayed at the same place. The management was outstanding, very kind, very accommodating and helpful. I had a junior suite with the acropolis view, and it must be one of my favorite rooms/ stays ever. Just magical. The breakfast is nice and good, and the staff are amazing and very hospitable. Location couldn’t have been better, it’s right above the airport stop, next to all the restaurants, pharmacy, bars, the acropolis. It might be the best corner in Athens. The rooms are all well maintained, clean, and newly remodeled. As far as noise, i always travel with earplugs, and their windows were very insulating and didn’t have any problems. I truly had the best time and enjoyed my stay like no other. Highly recommend.

Six months ago, we went for a coffee with a friend, it was a cool cloudy day. We sat on the top terrace, and enjoyed the perfect view. Special thanks to the blond Sophia, who except for her perfect service, empathetically, went the extra mile to serve us.

We just stayed at A for Athens for a few days, including New Year’s Eve. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating. The view of the acropolis was fantastic - we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant for breakfast and visited almost every night for a cocktail. The hotel staff worked to ensure they found a table for us even when it was crowded. We didn’t attend the NYE party, but the hotel allowed us to go to the roof to enjoy the fireworks and the view was amazing. The hotel is located near many shops, restaurants, and street food vendors, and was only a short walk to the Acropolis. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have received a complimentary upgrade to a suite! This stay in Athens has been nothing short of fantastic. Waking up to a direct, breathtaking view of the square and the Acropolis from our room was an absolute dream. The staff were exceptional, always helpful and responsive. To top it all off, the location made getting to the airport so easy and stress-free at the end of our trip. An unforgettable experience we will always cherish!

First is the mattress is old and very hard, and collapsed in the muddle leading to little sleep and lots of pain.Staff did nothing to help with this, when asked was told all the mattress are the same and we have no toppers. Room given, noisy next to a lift shaft that goes up to roof bar so was rumbling all the time. Window waste of time as it is a view to concrete shaft, no natural light. Use of roof top bar is limited even although it is a facility advertised to use while staying in Hotel and was assured by email that we could use it anytime during our stay when it was open. It is also very costly. NYE was wasted as was relegated to the outside in the freezing cold but still was told needed a minimum spend on drinks. This was eventually waived after a lengthy talk with email proof having to be shown regarding this as I had emailed about NYE many times. Priority was given to non residents on NYE. Breakfast was awful a mix of left overs from restaurant from previous night, stale bread and cold omelette. Filter coffee was like dirty water and only allowed one decent coffee free with breakfast for more you need to pay. The whole experience in the Hotel put a total dampener on time together with family visiting Greece for the festive time. This trip had been booked and planned well in advance so not a lst minute deal. Only good thing was location.

Stayed 3 nights in this nice boutique hotel. It was very centrally located, right outside Monastiraki Station. Plenty of shops and restaurant within easy reach of hotel.||Hotel room was very clean and spacious. Great view of Acropolis from the breakfast restaurant and rooftop bar. Breakfast was simple but nice.
