"Having moved to this address in 2022, the shop famous for Qie Zai noodles (greased noodles with bean sprouts and crispy scallion, in either a flavoursome pork bone broth or dressed in sweet and sour sauce), is now enclosed in an air-conditioned space with a glass shopfront and the kitchen at the back. On top of the signature noodles, specialities like deep-fried pork marinated in red yeast rice, and braised pork knuckles are still on the menu." - Michelin Inspector

We had a few of the dishes, all of which were tasty. People recommended the noodles, but we didn't get to try them unfortunately.
Service was polite, yet no Egnlish was spoken.
Prices were very reasonable.

The rice is a bit dry but comes with delicious fried onions. The pork trotters are soft and tender, which is my most favorite one. The wontons are nothing special. The noodle broth is quite bland for my taste and the spiciness is overwhelming. In overall, I expected more from a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide like this one.
The space is not so big, bright and clean. The portion of dish is a bit small compared to the pictures in the restaurant and the price is relatively high. The staffs can talk little bit in English for order taking.

A super unassuming spot that also was part of the Michelin Guide. The spicy wontons are a must try as the flavors are so bold and strong. I loved how delicate and balanced the noodle soup was as well. I liked this place so much that I went twice, and it's super affordable and quick, so if you're in the area, definitely check it out!

Yummy, the meat of a goose is so tender and juicy, the rice with green onion oil is absolutely tasty. The price is a bit expensive, it causes the location is in the middle of the city. But transportation is extremely convenient, it is quite close to the MRT station.

It famous for the noodles with soup Qie Zi Miam (切仔麵). The soup has rich flavor; taste goose oil in it. It recommended by Michelin guide also.

I always order noodles soup blanched squid the red sauce pork chops and one vegetable dish depending on which season. I like the vegetable dish because usually other stores boil the vegetables instead but here this dish has the fragrance from the sauté pot
It always gets crowded during lunch and dinner times. So I only come like late afternoon before dinner time and it’s very nice.

Michelin bib, an unpretentious mom and pop shop that offers the traditional noodle and shallot rice. The best dishes are all from Taiwan-raised pork from farm to table - pork liver, intestines, pig ear. It is a shop not to be missed if you are a foodie.
