A Kun Mian

Delicious food with no frills. My wife and I each got a bowl of noodles and a bowl of soup. We mistakenly thought you had to order noodles and soup together, but we later found out it was a la carte. It didn't matter because we finished everything! We had a bowl of glass dumplings and a bowl of their "all-in-one" soup that included fish ball, glass dumpling, tofu, and blood cake. There was a language barrier, but there was an English menu with pictures so that made ordering simple. It was a great meal at an insanely good price! I highly recommend you give them a try!

Perhaps different strokes for different folks. I did not feel impressed by the Michelin dry noodles. I felt that they were quite ordinary. Maybe on the first bite it was flavourful but the noodle was just beansprouts and noodles. I could not finish it in the end. I also ordered the crystal dumplings. I felt that the skin was too thick. But it could be the norm in Taichung. The minced meat was also a bit dry like the fat content was not high and it was too peppery. Overall not my cup of tea but I suppose still decent.

The flavor of the soup and noodles were great, and this combination reminds of Yong Tau Foo back home. The noodles were a little too soft for me though.

The noodles were really delicious with the sauce but the soup and its ingredients were pretty mediocre to me, perhaps just not to my taste. Going by the constant influx of diners, the locals seem to really like it though.

The portion is huge, taste just quiet average. Worth the price. Near the station, so easy to go there. The seller really nice n there was no queue

A Kun Mian and All at Once (Glass Dumpling, Steamed Tofu, Fried Tofu, Fuzhou Fish Ball and Pork Blood Pudding) . Dont judge a food from its cover 🤪 maybe looks simple and underrated but tastes awesome due to its sauce. Traditional Taichung breakfast at its best. Delicious. Hundreds of places serving the same, but this tiny noodle joint deserves recognition from The Michelin Guide. Ingredients in the combination soup, tofu, meat ball, dumpling and even pork blood are delicacy in flavor and texture. Would return again.

Stopped by this recommended noodles house in during a stopover in Taichung. They serve dry yellow noodles with their home made sauce as mixture for the noodles. The noodles were chewy and nice and the sauce blended well with the noodles. Also tried their minced pork wrapped with glutinous rice balls - Think glutinous rice balls floating in soup with minced pork inside. V good.
