A LA GRECQUE

Not the best Greek I’ve had. Menu didn’t say the chicken was deep fried/crumbed. Atmosphere was weird because there was a wedding on. Spanakopita was a bit greasy and pumpkin dish was nothing special. Great wine.

Loved the Greek evidence, blue & white china, white wash, boss man talking loudly on the phone with hand gestures, tzatziki, baklava & ouzo, and all generations enjoying lunch. A colder day had the fire place lit. A menu of traditional offerings plus more, many suited to sharing. Spanakopita with labneh, had crisp filo and creamy filling. Slow cooked lamb on pita, ticked the box for really tasty. The fried local calamari was the awesomeness of the day. Thin strips including tentacles was so fresh & full flavoured, matched perfectly with tzatziki. Best I’ve eaten in a very long time. A dish that dictates a return visit, and sharing needs a rethink. Affogato finished off a wonderful meal, great service at what was evidently a local favorite. Make a booking & let your taste buds do a happy dance.

Fantastic Greek restaurant you must try! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with that Mediterranean vibe. There is ample seating outside. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The dishes themselves were packed with that delicious, fresh, quality ingredients. The cocktail menu has some very nice choices, mixed and infused with iconic Greek flavours. While the food and ambiance are top-notch, the prices are steep. The lamb with pita would also benefit from a nice scoop of tsatziki sauce. 👌🏼

Such a delicious, heartwarming, high quality meal. We ate here in January and came back a night later bc we loved the food so much. I was with my mum and my 15 month old, he absolutely loved the food too. We sat outside on the deck with his highchair and it was super relaxing. Everything on the menu has flavour and high quality. The taramasalata is the best. We were in and out in just over an hour (toddler bed time) and food came quick.

Have been going to this restaurant for a very long time. Food is 20/10! Can’t fault anything, food, service & location is sublime. It’s an absolute must if you’re going along the Great Ocean Road ♥️

It was very busy when we arrived and we waited for a while to speak to someone about getting a table and there was no signage of where to wait so we just lingered by the front entrance which made us feel a bit lost but once the host managed to get to us, we were seated quickly and food and service were really good. Would definitely come by again!

We had a fabulous experience at this restaurant. We ordered the special, where different dishes are brought to the table to share and I must say the food was absolutely delicious. They happily swapped out a meat dish for a vegetarian option and the food arrived promptly. Josh the chef is to be commended on the menu combinations and expertise in the kitchen. We travelled quite a distance to get there as we had heard great reviews from the locals and we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

We came Here to have dinner while staying in airey’s inlet for a week. The establishment was recommended by the airbnb and decided to give it a try. The experience was amazing. The food was tasty and everything we ordered was delicious. They accommodated us knowing we needed a high chair, and servers were pleasant and attentive. Would come back if we were around the area again.

Great food great service, pity about the ambience. What this place lacks in stylish decor it makes up for in great tasting greek style food.
