Surprisingly great food - super fresh, very tasty. Everything we ordered was outstanding, no disappointments. We’ve gone many times and it never disappoints.

Great food and wine, excellent friendly and helpful staff in a really authentic French atmosphere. Mostly locals dining here and menu written only in french which we've found is always a great sign! (Waiter was very helpful and patient with translating the whole thing!) Highly recommend!

The staff were very sweet and kind to our jet lagged family of four. We had arrived from England that morning seeking the heaven of French food after the hell of overpriced and extremely ordinary pub offerings. We were not disappointed. It was my children’s (16 & 18) first experience of a Paris restaurant and they were charmed. We ate like wolves, and communed like pilgrims. Thank you for giving this experience to our family.

A real gem in the heart of the onzieme! Simple decor belies the friendly welcome and the spectacular menu. We just loved it! The croustillant was very special!! 10 out of ten.

Traditional French restaurant. Fantastic staff, delicious food, great wine, and excellent music. If you are in the area, it’s definitely a good idea to pass by.

Went in by chance - what a treat. A proper French French restaurant. Just perfect. Old school bistro with cool hipster vibe. Very friendly staff!

A nice place to have a nightcap, maybe also a little snack - but probably not the perfect dining place. Pretty high priced but very low in cleanliness, the dust on the edge of the bar reaches several millimeters in hight, did anybody ever think about cleaning this up?

Excellent food and a bistrot atmosphere from another time

Yelp
Quaint and interesting, this wine bar was a great place to unwind after a long day of sights. The neon accents piqued our interests as the building looks like an amalgamation of different decades all combining to one experience. My husband and I shared a bottle of Sauvignon blanc and a plate of grilled sardines (which tasted amazing by the way). Staff was friendly, and you could tell had locals that loved them.

Yelp
Came here after along day of exploring Paris. We wanted a table outside, and since there wasn't one available they set up a new one outside. Since we didn't speak french, they read and explained the entire menu to us Their wine selection was great (according to our friend) which I thoroughly enjoyed, and we all loved our meals. After dinner, we had some delicious espressos, an amazing armagmac and calvados. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I had a great time here, found it through the internet which is always a 50/50 proposition. Unfortunately got a really shitty table, but from there it was all good. The waiter did not speak perfect English but made every effort to translate the menu for our party of 4. More over, he was careful to make sure we did not order anything too exotic for our novice palettes. He also suspected that some of the traditional sweet wine would not be too our liking (after we attempted to order), so he came out with 4 bottles and poured us full glasses of each so that we could pick a bottle of what we liked best - I wish I got his name, great guy. For food we all got the $30 price fix, all was very good. For appetizers we got sardines (really good), octopus (a bit overcooked), and clams in a foamy white sauce (excellent). For dinner we got the duck, sole, and beef tartar. For desert we got the chocolate molten cake, lemon meringue, and the tiramisu - all delicious.

Yelp
Very good food. A very good (natural) wine list. These people know what they're doing!

Yelp
Wandered around one night looking for a bite to eat. Stumbled in here and the waiter was super friendly and patient. He translated the menu items for us, recommended a great wine, and even brought two different calvados bottles out for us to try after dinner. I asked what one of the menu items was and he said "a little bird" and made a motion with his hands imitating a little bird. So I ordered it, it was stuffed with fois gras, and now I will be happy forever. Thanks!
