Three of us went on the downtown walking food tour on Sunday at 11am. We had a fantastic time! The first stop we had the best ribs I’ve ever had and a super tasty beer! I loved the walking part of the tour. Brittany did an excellent job sharing history, fun facts and behind the scenes music info. She gave us fun recommendations too for the rest of our day in Nashville. They were great recs! We highly recommend!

Google
I loved this tour. It felt very personable, relaxed and simple. It was a Small group of people together experiencing downtown Nashville with locals business owners. I loved supporting the small business owners. And the tour guide was kind, friendly and also an artist that plays here locally. I definitely recommend and will come back with the husband. I loved every stop and the uniqueness of each place. So much to do here in Nashville. It also took us off the beaten path which I loved.

What to do for first time in Nashville, the food you’re should be your first choice! Our tour guide was Genevieve, she was just amazing. It’s not just about food, she also feels you about the history of the area and buildings along the route. We had such an amazing time! Hats off to Genevieve and everyone she brought to our first visit to Nashville. Remember these folks don’t make much $$$ of a salary, bring tip money along with you.

Google
First time to Nashville and this was a great way to learn more about the food, culture and history of the city! Our guide Brittney was awesome and being a musician she has a deeper connection to vibe of Nashville! Highly recommended!

Google
What a lovely fun delicious way to start the day! I was in town for a few days for business, and this was the last thing I did. Before this tour, I wasn't loving Nashville (I just couldn't figure out its vibe) and after this--- I wanted to stay! On top of the food and drinks (all locally owned businesses) I enjoyed the history and stories. It made me feel connected and not just a tourist. Brittany was warm, authentic and welcoming (and entertained all of my questions). I appreciated hearing her stories and her connections to the spaces we visited. There were only 5 on this tour, which I appreciated. Cheers! Recommendations: - great as a solo traveler, and as a group. - don't eat before this tour. You'll be well fed. - If possible, have another day or so after so you can go back and dig into Printer's Alley, catch a show at the symphony or go to back to one of the original spots on Broadway.

Google
Visiting from NYC and decided on taking this tour to learn a little more about downtown Nashville! It was great: super informative, the group was fun, and of course the food and drink were phenomenal! Brittany was an awesome guide and extremely entertaining and knowledgeable on the area. Highly recommended!

Google
We had an awesome time with Genevieve! Super unique tour that finds some hidden gems in Nashville with great food and drinks. Would highly recommend! Thank you for showing us a side of Nashville you don’t typically see!

Google
Genevieve was AMAZING! We are a group of 6 on a family girls trip looking for a way to see a bit of Nashville. This was perfect! The food was fantastic, Genevieve was so knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour covered a great bit of Nashville history. We definitely recommend!!

Yelp
We did this tour with MATT. Matt is a fountain of information about Nashville and all the places we visited, as well as the food. He gave us advice on 'pure tourist places' and where the locals really go. This was a fantastic way to visit Nashville, so much more fun than Broadway. This Little Taste of Nashville convinced me to check on walking taste tours in every city I visit.

Yelp
This was an amazing food tour. I was skeptical because $120 is pretty steep. But they take you to 6 places, with pretty good portions of food, alcohol and desserts. We were very pleased with this! Our guide was Sami and she was awesome! Everything was smooth. She was very knowledgeable. Our stops were the Acme Feed & Seed and had ribs with Mac and cheese, collard greens and coleslaw, next we went to Merchants, which was definitely my kind of place. They gave us wings, popcorn and these delicious deviled eggs and a locally made beer. Next we went to Cerveza Jacks. They had live music and served us an amazing strawberry lemonade cocktail. It was my favorite. We also got a Nashville hot chicken taco. Then we went next door to Mike's ice cream and had the vanilla with fudge chunk ice cream. So good. Then we went across the way to Praline's by Leon. We were given a salted caramel and a whiskey infused praline. Both were good. BUT, the pralines at Savannah candy kitchen are better (sorry). Last we went to Standard Proof Whiskey company to finish the tour with cocktails. My husband had the coffee whiskey old fashioned and I had the wildflower rye cocktail. Only one improv to recommend. To make individual portions for the number of people attending instead of group shared plates. Personally I don't want people I don't know touching my food. It's also harder to divide everything fairly.

Yelp
Great tour, definitely get to see more local and off a little from Broadway. Our guide Lauren was fantastic. Very knowledgeable sharing great tidbits you might not ever here

Yelp
If you are looking for a food tour, look no further! A Little Local Flavor is the way to go! We had a group of 13 coming into Nashville for a Bachelorette party. I had the hardest time trying to find a tour that could fit that many ladies and had timeslots that fit into our schedule. As a group of foodies with only 2.5 days in Nashville, we wanted to best that Nashville had to offer. We booked a private tour, and it did not disappoint! All of my booking was done with Christine, who was really awesome to work with. She even gave us food recommendations that turned out to be fantastic. On the day of our tour, Sami met up with us and was promptly on time. We visited 5 different locations, learned some history, and were stuffed to the brim. Highly recommend coming hungry because you will eat and drink well! Also, we loved Sami!!! She is sweet and showed us some great Southern hospitality. Bonus: Most of your tickets will go towards giving back to the Nashville community.

Yelp
Brittany was a fantastic guide - loved the focus on locally owned restaurants and everything was excellent! Great tour - highly recommend this on.

Peggy H.

Yelp
Cally was a fantastic tour guide- it was just like having a Nashville-local pal show us around all the coolest places in town. She also gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip based on our personal tastes. Definitely a great tour to do your first day in town if you have a few days!

Victoria H.

Yelp
Incredible tour by Matthew who showed us some incredible locally owned joints for drinks, good food, and music. If you want to learn more about what's off the tourist path of Nashville, I highly recommend this tour.

Yelp
A local food tour company providing 3-hours tours with a side of local history and sightseeing. We've been on food tours in lots of cities and always find them fun and interesting and this one was no exception. This one is particularly nice since it runs over the middle of the day (11-2) so it's a great plan for lunch, although perhaps more food than your average lunch. Another plus is that this tour, hosted by our guide Krystin, threw in a small dose of local sightseeing as well so it was almost two tours in one. Like other food tours you get to sample lots of local specialties at local hot spots and in our case this included a succulent beef brisket sandwich and fries, Nashville hot chicken taco, decadent chocolate and banana peanut butter pie, fried pickles and two alcoholic drinks-I was stuffed by the end. Also, since this is Nashville, several of the venues had live music playing during our visit as well. They run the tour daily and while the company has only been around since May 2018, they are doing things right. Groups range up to 14 people but on our October Tuesday it was just my wife and I; so it ended up being a private tour. Reserve on their website-and please remember to tip your guide. A fun activity in Nashville.

Yelp
Christine booked our group of 14 at the last minute and was communicative and prompt with her responses. We all had such a blast! Our tour guide, Tristan, was fun, knowledgeable about Nashville and music (and a musician himself from a long line of musicians), accommodating and kind. We learned so much from him. The tour included 5 main stops with a walk down Broadway, Painter's Alley and plenty of history to boot (perfect for my penchant of nerding out while traveling). This was definitely a highlight of the trip! My favorite food was Acme and watching Jackson Brown perform as we chowed down on ribs. Would recommend this company and Tristan as a tour guide in particular to anyone who is visiting Nashville and looking for an off the beaten path tour of this vibrant city!

Amy B.

Yelp
Wow!! What a VIP experience we had with Cally from A Little Local Flavor. Our foodie tour was everything we could have hoped for and more! Food and beverages were terrific, Nashville local lore, info, history, etc was intriguing, and Cally's warmth and knowledge and professionalism was above par. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an all-in-one downtown dining experience.

Yelp
Held a corporate event in Nashville and took the team on a tour with A Little Local Flavor. Communication was very quick, their initial email (inquiry response) was full of information, answering most of my questions before I even asked. Follow up was great, and the instruction leading up to the event was well put together. The tour itself was also great! The tour guides (we had 2 groups) were both very informative and had great personalities, and the stops were so great. A few of us ended up going back to a couple of the stops on different days because they were so good and we wanted more! Several members of my team went out of their way to mention how great the tour was, so I'd consider it a success and would definitely recommend A Little Local Flavor!

Jason Z.

Yelp
Amazing amazing amazing!!!!! If you come to Nashville this is a must. The tour guides are amazing and have selected great, local spots.

Renee E.

Yelp
Rachel was a fantastic guide today and the restaurant choices for the tour were so tasty. The variety of food and locations allowed our group to really explore Nashville. I will be back and will definitely take this tour again. Thank you so much, Rachel!

Yelp
This tour was so awesome! We had such a great experience with Christine! Loved all the places she took us to and all the sights and history she had given. She was great!

Lisa R.

Yelp
Wow! We spent the afternoon on this tour and had THE BEST time! Each place we visited had phenomenal food and drinks! Christine, our tour guide and the owner, is not only full of Nashville history, but she's also very personable and a pleasure to be around! Christine is able to accommodate people with dietary restrictions or preferences. She will also make sure your cocktails are alcohol free if you don't drink or there is a minor in your party. The tour is worth every penny! There is a moderate amount of walking so we're comfy shoes. Be sure to bring extra cash to tip your tour guide and the musicians at each stop.

Rhiannon R.

Yelp
This was the best and tastiest tour I have ever been on. Krystin our tour guide took us to some amazing restaurant. We also got to meet the own Christine who is so sweet too. We got to hear The history of the buildings and music history. Show up with an empty stomach and you won't be disappointed!

Rob A.

Yelp
5 stars! A Little Local Flavor knows Nashville. If you are a foodie or just love good eats, book this tour when you are in Nashville. You will NOT be disappointed. Great tour and great tour guides. I just can't believe how awesome these guys are.

Ashley H.

Yelp
The absolute best food tour I have ever been on in my life. Christine was a phenomenal host and her entire crew was friendly. The food portions were ginormous and I left stuffed. Highly highly recommended

Johnnie S.

Yelp
Darren was our guide. He was easy going, fun, entertaining and very informative. He knows downtown Nashville very well and has lots of favorite spots. Tour started at ACME and from there we enjoyed the delights of downtown! Definitely wish this was the first thing we should have done! Highly recommend the guide and tour!

Sarah W.

Yelp
An amazing food tour that made our trip to Nashville special. Delicious food and beverages and an awesome food tour guide! Not to be missed by locals and tourists alike -soo much fun!

Stacey L.

Yelp
Great tour with guide Kyle! He spent the time walking from place to place sharing interesting facts about the city. We had a group of approximately 15 and he did a great job rotating between all the mini groups. All the food we enjoyed was very tasty. Ribs and sides, red hot chicken taco with a strawberry adult drink, salted caramel candy, tiny chocolate mousse cup and ended with fried pickles and local beer. Something different to do.

Sasha K.

Yelp
I had the best time on the Downtown Nashville tour. Kristen was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

Alicia W.

Yelp
Great tour! Full of fun Nashville facts as this food tour combines a bit of history throughout the walk to different foodie joints. Enjoyed flavorful ribs, a twist on hot chicken, delectable desserts (with an option to add moonshine!), some much needed drinks, with a couple extras along the way. Kyle was an excellent guide whose efforts to bring large groups in and out of already busy restaurants was streamlined. We all loved the tour and grateful to see another side of Nashville.

J Y.

Yelp
Would recommend, highlights locally owned business who feature homemade food. A great option if you are in Nashville.

Windy H.

Yelp
It was our 1st time in Nashville so my husband and I decided to try out a food walking tour and we are so glad we did. Our guide Kyle was wonderful. He is a local native and musician so he was able to give us a lot of inside information with the music scene. Kyle met us at the corner of 1st and Broadway at 11:00 and for 3 hours, we walked, ate, drank, laughed and listened while Kyle shared history and stories of music city. We ate so much food, we had to cancel our dinner reservations but did find many places we want to go back to. We chose A Little Local Flavor because their tours started at 11:00 which was 2 hours earlier than the other tours. It was a great choice because we ended up ahead of all the other tours and never had to wait. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are visiting Nashville. You will not be disappointed.

Jordan F.

Yelp
We take food tours in every city we go to and Nashville did not disappoint. We went to 5 places with 2 drinks and learned so much history on the way! It was a great way to see the city and Kyle was an amazing tour guide to show us! Would definitely recommend.

Christina B.

Yelp
our first time in nashville and this was such a fun way to eat local food and explore where the locals enjoy eating and hanging out! couldn't recommend this enough if you are in town and don't know what to do or where to eat. Krystin was a great guide and we learned so much about nashville from her!

Julie W.

Yelp
Did this tour while in town for a Cousins Camp and had such a good time! Kyle was our tour guide and being a native from Nashville, he was able to share a great deal of history with us as well as some amazing food. First stop was Acme Feed and Seed. The ribs were outstanding. During the walking part we learned a lot about the little downtown and the changes that have taken place. It was overall a fabulous day and would recommend this food tour- especially if you can have Kyle as your guide! He's darling!!

Bob S.

Yelp
Christine the owner of the company was great when I got to Nashville. Loved her and the tour

Suzanne M.

Yelp
Fun food tour with Derrin. Yummy food and drinks. And lots of information about Nashville from a "local".

Sandy W.

Yelp
Just spent the last 3 hours on a food tour here in Nashville TN. Fabulous! It tourney out in our favor that my husband & I we're the only ones booked for this time, so not only did we have our guide, Derrin, but also the owner of the tour company! We had so much fun! Lots of great food, very informative information about the area & good "company" with Derrin & Christine. I would totally recommend this food tour if you're ever in Nashville, TN!!

Jada M.

Yelp
This is the first food tour I've ever done so I don't have a lot of experience with them. We had quite a large group 16 people which I was a little disappointed in and the weather wasn't the best (obviously not their fault). We went to 4 different locations. All had delicious food and the tour guide Christine was really good!!! She hat lots of tips and was very friendly and accommodating. It was 3 hours from 11-2 it was a little long for me and it was good overall just not sure my husband and I are food tour people. If you are this is a good one!

Suzann V.

Yelp
Tour was great. It was more than a food tour, it was a city tour too. Our group of 10 ladies had Klye as our guide. He was so much fun and full of information about Nashville. Our group ranged in ages 23 - 72 and Kyle knew how to relate to each one of us. I recommend this tour to everyone visiting Nashville. The only thing I would have changed about this tour is that we did toward the end of our visit. Next time I would plan to do earlier in our visit because we then could have returned to some of the spots pointed out by Kyle. Until next time and thanks so much for a great tour!

Angel W.

Yelp
Thank you! This tour was worth every penny! Great local spots (that I'd never find on my own) that had quality food and great service! We loved the local facts that Kyle shared! His backwards walking skills are awesome. He was on point all day ensuring we were entertained and sharing Nashville love with us. Thank you kindly!

Katie F.

Yelp
We booked a private customized tour for 18 people with A Little Local Flavor. Christine and Jack were amazing to work with! Prompt answers to all questions, they designed the trip to include all our specifications including sightseeing, mural stops, live music, whisky tasting, hot chicken, BBQ and more and they built it for the exact time slot we were looking to fill (4 Hours). Our guide Kyle was full of knowledge of the city and as a local gave a perspective to the city's growth and history that was unique, and as a singer/songwriter also allowed a look into industry that makes up the heartbeat of the city! The tour flowed extremely smoothly, everything ran on time and was ready for us as we got to each stop. The food was incredible and plentiful. Our group said many spots will be marked as "must return" spots when they come back to Nashville. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, not only during the tour, but also willing to make recommendations for other places to visit to make sure our entire trip to Nashville was exceptional. Would definitely book them again!

Susan D.

Yelp
Wonderful tour led by a wonderful host, Christine! This is best way to learn Nashville history and taste local favorite foods!

Julia F.

Yelp
Such a fun and informative tour in Nashville! Christine took us to some great local spots and also told us some fascinating stories of the history of places we passed along the way. HIGHLY recommend this tour. Our group of six really enjoyed how engaging and personal Christine was. We're going back to one place tomorrow and are still enjoying the last stop on the tour right now.

S C.

Yelp
Amazing trip to Nashville and this was such a great experience. Our guide was so delightful and full of knowledge of the city. She was gracious and so hospitable. The tour was very fun, not to long or hard to keep up. Some stairs for those who might have trouble. We were very full and happy at the end of the event. Would highly recommend. Guide was helpful in making suggestions for other activities you may do during your stay in Nashville. Mom and son from OHIO

Becky's M.

Yelp
This was an amazing food tour! Great food, wonderful information about the city and much more. I would totally recommend this tour for visitors to Nashville. Our guide was so knowledgable, fun and energetic. I have been on many food tours and this one ranked with the best.

Sarah H.

Yelp
This was one of the best parts of my weekend in Nashville. Darren did an excellent job of introducing us to Nashville history, lore, and (of course) food. He was personable and connects well with people. Some food tours feel rushed or slow, but this one was paced very well. And I liked that each restaurant was ready for the group. It felt like a professional operation. We especially appreciated Darren's recommendations for other things to do in Nashville.

Barbara C.

Yelp
Great tour! With a group of 12, we visited some places we never would have found on our own. We sampled bbq ribs, hot chicken, chili dogs, some sweets and a few adult beverages. Kyle was our wonderful tour guide, he guided us effortlessly through the streets of downtown Nashville, giving us some history along the way. HIghly recommend!

Brenna M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed meeting Christine, our tour guide and learning about the history of some of the buildings and restaurants in Nashville. I love to be able to imagine what the city would have been like a hundred years ago, and now I have a clearer picture, thanks to Christine. I can't wait to come back for more. Great town, great food, awesome music and a wonderful tour. Thank you again.

Larry V.

Yelp
We visited Nashville recently and while it's unusual for us to get involved with a tour group, preferring to stumble around and explore the local flavor on our own, we decided to take a food tour. Very happy that we did! We took the 3 hour walking food tour with Kyle as our guide and even though the 95 degree September weather was oppressive, we enjoyed ourselves and visited places we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend. Kyle is a great guide, try and schedule him if you decide to take the tour.

Caryn B.

Yelp
Had a great experience with Darren on the walking food tour. Have been on food tours in many cities and this was one of the best.

Cathy B.

Yelp
Thanks Kyle for a great tour today. Lots of wonderful food, information on the area and so much fun!

Tracy G.

Yelp
They were fantastic!! Loved the local fun facts and history of the places we went. Enthusiastic and passionate about the service they provide. Incredible food, tour, and people! Thank you so much!
