Tanuki to Open in Happy Camper Space in Provincetown | Eater Boston

"A-House is referenced as a source of the summer night crowds Powers hopes to serve—she pictures ‘every bear from the A-House’ stumbling by drunk and hungry and using Tanuki as a late-night snack stop or a place where new connections might spark." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Service was attentive and pretty good. Server forgot to tell us about the fish specials. ||Full bar with custom cocktails. Limited, but well chosen, offerings of beer and wine are available. ||Food was good, but some inattention to presentation distracts from the experience. ||For example, the VERY tasty spatchcocked chicken has a delicious sauce and nicely al dente brocollini. It was served on a plate far too small to make eating it easy. Please provide a smaller portion or a larger plate.||The delicious, fresh green salad overflows the bowl it’s served in. The pieces of greens and vegetables are hard to cut. ||No bread comes with these excellent but pretty pricey entrees. If you want bread, your only choice is two very chewy, small pieces of nan served with lots of spices, for $6. This is not a bread that goes harmoniously with most entrees. ||As other reviewers have noted, the duck is delicious. I was grateful that I was allowed to substitute a different vegetable for the Brussels sprouts that come with it. ||Chocolate pot au creme dessert was good. ||Would we return? Yes.

I LOVE A Moab House! We have stayed here a few times over the years and always try to stay here when we go to Moab. The downstairs "Casa del Canyon" is great for a couple or small family. The upstairs "Casa del Sol" / renting the whole house is wonderful for friend retreats or larger family trips. The location is GREAT; you are steps away from downtown. The owner, Carol, is AMAZING; she is so kind, accommodating, and helpful! The house is always immaculate, and the backyard space is above and beyond. It is nice to come home for a day of adventure to such an oasis to grill, soak in the hot tub, and have a small fire. We love being able to bring our dogs along! We were provided dog dishes, dog beds, poop bags, and covers the additional cleaning needed once my fur babies leave with the small pet fee.

This place has it all - close enough to walk to downtown in just a few minutes yet quiet with zero traffic, first rate kitchen, art, and other details, great set up for dogs, bike work station, super friendly and attentive host familiar with the area, fits a lot of people, and great yard and outdoor hang out space. This place feels like home and is pretty unique as a nightly rental so close to town. I'll be back.

We didn't get to stay here because of Covid. Grand Junction cancelled Easter Jeep Safari for 2020. When I called to get a refund, the lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and said she didn't give refunds for cancellations. We would have still come to Moab but the county clearly stated you didn't live within the 3 adjoining counties, you could not come to Moab and stay, even in the primitive campgrounds. She issued a partial refund and my credit card company handled the rest. I will never stay here, and will tell my friends how I was treated. Next time you have issues with cancellations across the COUNTRY, take it up with your city council and don't lay the blame on your customers.

Accommodations are great, (especially for dog people), and you can't beat the location.
