"A Santa Lucia has been a celebrity hangout since it opened in the 1920s—you’ll spot Joséphine Baker, Marcello Mastroianni, and Frank Sinatra immortalized in several hundred framed photos covering the walls. It’s one of the few old-school spots still in business near Duomo, and great for a bite before or after a long opera at La Scala. Pass on the pizza and go for the Roman-style dishes like crispy veal saltimbocca and stracciatella alla romana. And keep your eyes open for Italian actors, as locals still count for over half of the clientele." - elizabeth de filippo jones

I don’t understand how this restaurant can be so underrated here, because this place is delicious! The pasta with bolognese sauce was amazing! The steak was butter soft, just missed a bit of salt, but you can add up yourself at the table. The service was also great in my experience, really nice “Italian” atmosphere!

Amazing restaurant with a great family ambiance. The typical Italian of Milano. Food was the best we have had here. Definetely recommend! Price below includes appetizers, a nice bottle of red wine, a main course and a dessert!

We had an exceptional dining experience! The attention to detail from the staff was outstanding, making us feel truly welcomed. What impressed me most was how accommodating the waiter was when I had a last-minute change of mind about my dish. He handled the situation with grace and helped us make the switch effortlessly. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal paired with superb service.

A Santa Lucia in Milan is such a cool spot if you’re looking for that real Italian vibe! The waiters, dressed sharp and full of personality, make you feel right at home with their lively, classic Italian charm. The place is buzzing with energy, and the walls covered in photos of all the celebrities who’ve visited over the years give it a fun, nostalgic feel. The food? Totally delicious – proper traditional Italian dishes that hit the spot. It’s like stepping into an upscale Milanese trattoria that’s stylish but still super welcoming. Perfect for a great meal and some authentic vibes!

Me and my wife accidentally walked into this restaurant after a long shopping day. The pasta is excellent... Best that I had.

Review: Disappointing Dining Experience in Milano Center I recently visited a restaurant in the heart of Milano, hoping for a memorable dining experience, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the location is convenient and the ambiance is nice, the overall experience left much to be desired. First of all, the portion sizes were shockingly small. For the high prices they charge, I expected something more substantial and filling. Each dish was beautifully presented, but it felt more like a tasting menu than a full meal. If you’re looking to leave the restaurant feeling satisfied, this isn’t the place for you. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow. We waited far too long between courses, and it took forever just to get our drinks. For a restaurant charging premium prices, I expect much more efficient and attentive service. By the end of the meal, the long waits had really dampened the mood. To sum up: While the food is decent, the portion sizes are far too small, it’s overpriced, and the slow service makes the experience frustrating. There are much better options in Milano for a more satisfying and enjoyable meal.

Very friendly staff and the food was so good. The pink sauce pasta with squid in specific was something else.

Was worried about it due to the reviews, but was in situation to try out. Food was above average, and service was good. They gave my son a banana as he was hungry why getting table ready. Place was packed; Italians were in there eating and everyone nice. Would definitely go back.
