We had an outstanding evening here! Incredible, imaginative, beautiful presentations from start to finish! We were visiting from the US, staying nearby and found this restaurant online with very positive reviews! So glad we did!

This restaurant was disappointing, they dont have any kind of raw vegetable salad, no tiramissu. Otherwise the grilled octopus was tasty

Fantastic dining experience at A Spurcacciuna in Savona, where we went for our anniversary dinner. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and accommodated our dietary requirements. The tasting menu was very inventive, delicious and played with a creative mix of local Italian specialities and international ingredients. We would definitely come back, but next time book in the summer time, so one can enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace.

What a treasure. We ordered from the menu yet we were regaled with various small delights as amuse bouche, delightful breads, etc before our first and second courses. Wow!

Amazing place with great service. The food tastes really good.

Arrogant staff. Small portions. Nothing special. When we asked about gluten-free options we got the answer that we are in a seafood restaurant but that’s there’s a bistro next door, too. We should have left then but we stayed. Afterwards we had 5 different waiters who did not share our dietary restrictions amongst each other. Was a very uncomfortable dinner. It took forever to get our food. We couldn’t wait to pay and get out.

We enjoyed the Ligurian Tasting menu last night. Every course was an absolute delight. The food was not only creatively and beautifully prepared and served, each item was full of unique and wonderful flavour. I would rate this alongside Osteria Francescana in Modena - it was that good!

The Ristorante a Spurcacciun-a is the BEST restaurant my husband and I have ever visited --- Anywhere in the world. Our hometown is Las Vegas, Nevada, and we have certainly enjoyed the many Michelin 5 star rated restaurants there, BUT this hidden gem far exceeds any other restaurant we have visited in any country. We chose the $55 per person menu option for ourselves. My husband had all of the items listed. Because I am allergic to Shell Fish, the owner happily modified the options to exclude anything I had allergies to and substituted something else. Ms Simone Perata, visited our table often and ensured that our service and cuisine were perfect. We could not be more pleased with our visit. In fact, we will make a special trip to Hotel Mare in Savona the next time we visit Italy, just to enjoy the a Spurcacciun-a Restaurant.
