Mora and Buxbaum were double-dealing Lemonis: they were in negotiations with King Solomon Meats at the same time they were talking to Marcus w/o disclosing this. They obviously had no intention of living up their end of the deal, culminating with not delivering of the Brooklyn Burger trademark, and were just milking him for whatever they could get. Moral of the story: NEVER accept a verbal agreement (unless you are willing to lose everything).
