"This centrally located restaurant with a modern interior is an unexpected surprise, bringing back to life a delightful stone house over two centuries old. The owner-chef offers guests a varied à la carte on which traditional recipes stand alongside more modern dishes with hints of fusion, a few seafood options, plus plenty of grilled specialities cooked over a wood fire. This is complemented by an 8-course tasting menu that needs to be ordered ahead of time. Taberna do Trasno was a short walk from our hotel - The Parador - and was perfect for some Sunday evening light bites after a big lunch earlier in the day. The welcome was warm and friendly as we arrived early - 2030hrs is when they open for dinner, edited here on Google. We shared a bottle of delicious Galician red wine from Bierzo alongside some delicious appetizers, that were perfect for us. Now. To the ceviche. This is quite probably the best ceviche that we’ve had. Anywhere. In the world! The depth of flavour in it was truly magnificent!

Beautiful setting in the heart of Cambados with a perfect blend of Galician tradition and modern flair. The grilled octopus was outstanding, and every dish was full of flavor and creativity. Cozy ambiance, excellent wine, and a memorable experience overall. A must-visit if you’re in Rías Baixas!

Pleasing arty/modernist vibe to the decor. But it’s the seafood you come for. Delicious butterfish ceviche and razor clams, and the tuna perfectly done too. The desserts were good as well, reasonably priced and with a good wine list. Would definitely recommend.

We decided to try it on a quiet Monday night in May. We chose the taster menu, and it was sensational! Absolutely beautifully presented, tasted amazing, there was nothing we could fault. The staff were really friendly and we are already looking forward to trying it again when we visit Cambados later in the year.

We asked Carlos for a vegetarian degustacion menu. He did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the flavours and presentation excellent. The whole team made us very welcome and we had a lovely evening Highly recommended

We went for our anniversary, service was good a bit slow, but they were very busy. Had the croquetas caseras and they were very good. Had the solomillo with cheese sauce, was ok, would have preferred cheese crumbles. Small portion. Had the torrija with ice cream, very good a little skimpy on the ice cream. Large wine selection!

We had dinner here during our roadtrip through Galicia, and it was amazing. We started with superb scallops, razor clams and cockles, followed by an even better old beef tartar on roasted marrow. To finish, we had the rice pudding puff pastry with cinnamon ice cream, and the cheesecake, which were both delicious

Overall a good experience. The food was quite good and the service nice and mostly attentive. They seem to be trying for a star. If they are, they need to step a few things up on the food. The razor clams and artichokes were excellent. The steaks were good but need to raise their level a notch for a star. While the service overall was good it lagged at times and not all dishes - for example desserts - arrived at the same time. While catering to locals may mean repeat clientele it will not get them a star.
