I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Atan Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a memorable meal. A-Tan is hands down one of the best restaurants in Memphis. The food is incredible, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is warm and friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I recommend the Beef with Broccoli, it’s excellent!

I've been here twice and the only thing I had worth buying was the Jasmine tea. I got the lo mein and there was no sauce on it. It was just sitting in broth or something. I poured so much off my plate and it was about 3/4 cup worth and the noodles had no flavor. The mushrooms were full of water. The chicken was ok but it was definitely batch boiled. Zero flavor, a friend had to give me some of the excess sauce off their chicken to make my food edible. I didn't bother returning it because the servers already seemed to be in a bad mood.

Locally & Family Owned and Homegrown, this restaurant is a Memphis gem that’s consistent and has amazing taste. One of the very unique things about the restaurant is that it’s a Chinese and Japanese cuisine all in one place! Try my favorite side serving up authentic Hibachi fresh on a cook table! I go very other and have always received 1st Class Customer Service by the entire team!

I have been going to Atan for over 15 years and both the food and the staff are always great! No matter if you are looking for hibachi or Chinese/Japanese cuisine Atan always have fresh food and serve large portions! The daily lunch specials are great too! It is family owned local restaurant that you should try!
