Here Are the Hottest New Restaurants in San Francisco, June 2024

"The Ferry Building is now home to Roman-style focaccia sandwiches and slices of pizza al taglio. A16, the Union Street restaurant that was listed as a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2022, opened its newest outpost in the former Cowgirl Creamery stall of the legendary marketplace in February 2024, bringing high-class panini and pantry goods to the building’s hallowed halls." - Dianne de Guzman, Lauren Saria

Can You Get Booze Delivered During the Coronavirus Lockdown?  - Eater SF

"A16 has always been known for its award-winning list of Italian wines. The restaurant is currently walking its pillowy pizzas out for curbside pickup, and oh yes, you can get a bottle of vino with that." - Becky Duffett

A convenient place to grab an amazing slice of pizza! Stopped in to meet up with an old work friend and didn't wait long to receive some of the best pizza I've ever had in the city. I will definitely be bringing people here to try it. There are many dessert options just a few steps away too!

i got the large salsiccia pizza which was great value at $15. it is a thick oily crust with fibrous broccolini and good quality ingredients. the place is cute and very small with just four tables. very good service.

Their focaccia is to die for. So light and crispy after toasted. The combination of pesto, mozzarella and mushroom is delicious! Strongly recommend!

This place has a good variety of sandwiches , pizza slices etc..I got a Sicilian slice with mushrooms topping, I think the slice was a bit too greasy but otherwise was ok

A very petite sandwich that costs $16. It probably weighed 9 or 10 ounces Fatted calf offers larger more fulfilling sandwiches for a similar price if you are willing to risk food poisoning. Acme’s salami sandwich is around $9.85 and weighs about the same

This place lacks care for their food, the “pizza” tasted stale, broccolini on top it tasted like horrible (I’m a big broccolini fan) and above all they charged an extra $3 for arugula and gave me wilty nasty tasting arugula. Unless this place dramatically improves, do not go here. There are much better places in the ferry building you can spend a ridiculous amount of money on.

I was excited to check this cute spot out in the Ferry Building! I ordered the Ramini panini which has stracciatella, prosciutto, basil pesto for $14. It was delicious and perfect for a quick lunch! I sat outside behind the ferry building to enjoy the bay view.

Very tasty. Little pricy. I got the Prosciutto basil sandwich. Very tasty. Bread had a great crunch. Warm cheesy was melted and the prosciutto was very tasty. Not high end but for a quick bite it worked
