"Situated in the heart of the modern Porta Nuova district, where the face of Milan has changed in spectacular and now iconic fashion, this restaurant is situated at the entrance to the Torre Solaria, one of the area’s most famous skyscrapers. Inside, you’ll find one of the city’s most elegant restaurants, where the decor is a modern mix of wood, stone and glass. Here, they serve kaiseki dishes, a faithful version of the most famous type of Japanese cuisine, including some of its most renowned recipes. There’s also a small dining room to one side with a sushi bar and just a few seats, where you can order the surprise omakase menu. The name “Iyo” may seem familiar to you, as the Michelin-starred Iyo (in the Corso Sempione district) also serves Japanese cuisine although it specialises in more creative and fusion-style dishes." - Michelin Inspector

It was my first Michelin star restaurant, must say one of the best experiences one can wish to have, the food was mostly to die for, just amazing, the sauces were out of the world, the fish as well, they have a variety of Sake and cocktails, the service was excellent. We took a fixed menu which was costumaized to each one of us with our dietary issues/intolerance. We had a perfect evening, lovely food and good time.

I felt like in the movie set “lost in translation” when I first arrived in this Michelin star Japanese restaurant, which reminded me of my trip in Osaka many years ago. Really worth the visit and the experience in many ways regarding the dishes on the set menu I had choose including a charcoal grilled Wagyu beef. Loved also the caramelised pork served with a slightly spiced sauce & condiment dish then I had a very nice sashimi dish with 3 différents fish including tuna & Italian shrimp. The service was excellent by a very good Italian chef de rang and her Asian collègue. I dine by myself but the atmosphere was busy (quite noisy) and all sorts of clients from international travellers to Italian family and business people. I didn’t feel lonely at all but the time fled so fast . Great selection of japanese beer. If you want to experience the meal in front the Japanese chefs you will have to book well in advance . Definitely a serious top class experience for once not based on Italian food over my trip in Milan. Well done team.

I had an overall positive experience. Starting with the food, we chose the chef’s tasting menu, which consists of six courses, including raw, cooked, and cold dishes. Some are better than others, but overall it’s very good. The service was impeccable, with attention to every detail to ensure an outstanding experience. For drinks, I had a 180ml bottle of sake at a great price, which complemented the meal perfectly.

Spent a very nice Sunday evening - I wasn’t too hungry so I only tasted a couple of dishes but I could tell the care and quality they put in. Recommended

I had the pleasure of dining at this lovely Japanese restaurant today, and it was an experience worth every penny and every moment spent. From the moment we enter, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, What stood out more than the delicious food was the exceptional service. The two waiters who served us were incredibly polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. One young gentleman from Bangladesh, in particular, went out of his way to assist us,He's warm and helpful attitude really made our dining experience special. The food itself was a testament to authentic Japanese cuisine beautifully presented fresh and full of flavour. From perfectly rolled sushi to delicious ramen and tempura every dish was a delight for the senses. The quality of preparation and attention to detail was evident making it clear that this restaurant prioritizes excellence in both taste and presentation. Love this restaurant 😍 I hope i will be there for soon.

Good food, with some dishes above average but others really just average, which is not what you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. There was also very little attention to detail. My partner told them he was going to propose tonight, and they wrote “Happy Anniversary” on the desserts. It’s not our anniversary.

Everything was perfect. Service was spectacular. Food flavours were very unique & interesting. Very well presented / plated. It’s a little on the pricey side though. One bottle of water is €10. Not sure if everyone would think it’s worth the high price. But overall a good dining experience for me.

The dining experience was exquisite and the chef was gracious and competent enough to accommodate our last minute request for vegetarian food. That being said I would rank the food a 4/5 for vegetarian (for our last minute request, keep in mind). Cannot comment on the standard menu items. Great ambiance, superb service and hospitality, not to mention beautiful plating and presentation. The food was unique and interesting. Assuming the menu meets your palette, I’d highly recommend. Do check the menu before going, and call ahead to request for vegetarian if necessary.
