Stopped by here after reading a nice review about this place. Ordered Potstickers鍋貼 ($11.3), Beef&tendon N Soup红牛肉筋麵 ($15.85) , Fried Chicken Rice雞排飯 ($12.3), Turnip&Bacon Pastry蘿蔔酥餅 ($6.35), Thousand Layer Pancake抓餅 ($5.60). The beef wide noodle is the best one dish here, although the soup may have too much soy sauce to it. 雞排 and the pastry of 蘿蔔酥餅 is not quite what the Taiwanese style one would expected it. 抓餅 took a long time to arrive and has no green onion in it and plain. 鍋貼 is good but lack of extra lacing that the good Potstickers should have. The food is not expansive but also not quite Taiwanese style that we are looking for here.

Great Taiwanese foods, if you never trying this restaurant, you MUST gi, otherwise, you don't know what you missing. Language: English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I am glad that this restaurant have a branch in City if Rockville * I am Californian, I always ate at Irvince , CA for years) Must come restaurant. You can't missed.

This restaurant offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine that captures the true flavors of home. The dishes are just as delicious as those found in Taiwan. The space is clean, the service is warm and attentive, and meals are served promptly.

This is the best Taiwanese cuisine that my Chinese fiancée and I have found in the DC region! Food is very affordable and service is friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is humble and a little cramped, yet the food and prices are worth a visit!

It was just blah We had the spicy beef Noodle soup, the peanut noodle soup and they were kind of bland, no flavor, not spicy. The peking beef wrap was good. Wont be back.

Lucky to find this well known gem on a weekend. The dumplings (stir fried) and soup were perfect. Cucumber salad right spice and garlic. The Dan Dan noodles were a little heavy for me, but took them home and cooked dinner with them and they ended up great. Very impressed and would return back soon

We were looking for Taiwanese breakfast and we were not disappointed. The youtiao was hot and fresh since we came right when they opened. Everything else tasted great too.

I've been coming here for about 25 years or so. I guess it's about time I left a review. I was introduced to the place by some Chinese friends. That's always a good sign. Their signature dish is pan fried pork dumplings. After all these years, they're still consistently good. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The pan fried beef buns are out of this world. So are the scallion pancakes and so many other menu items. Like so many other restaurants since the advent of Covid they've had to raise their prices. But the price increases seem reasonable considering the value. Do you know how you go to a Chinese restaurant sometimes and you can taste and smell the MSG in the food? That won't happen here. No MSG headaches. I believe dine-in is cash only. But if you order online you can pay with a credit card. One of the things that's great about ordering online is that they don't upcharge you for ordering online like so many other restaurants do. I don't give a ton of five star reviews, but this place definitely deserves it

Small family-owned restaurant cooking traditional Chinese Food Szechuan Style for many years The place and menu are small, but service is quick, and they turn tables as people leave. The menu comprises soups, noodles (the same as the soups, just no liquid), some meat and rice dishes, and many appetizer-type dishes like cucumber salad, dumplings, potstickers, and other cultural meat plates. The homemade noodles are worthy of their own paragraph. What a masterpiece. There is enough chew and pull, but it is not super dense and heavy; how?? I wanted to order all of their noodle dishes, but I was afraid of what people would think... I did eat all the ones in my bowl after letting my kids have one small bite each. The Food was delicious and reasonably priced; for 3 appetizers, 2 soups, 6 meat on rice dishes, 3 bobas, and 1 soda, our bill was $120. Amazing prices!! I will be a faithful customer!

I had a great meal at A&J, a charming Chinese/Taiwanese spot. The spicy beef noodle soup was my favorite--the broth was rich, meaty, and perfectly spicy. We also tried the pan-fried beef bun, steamed beef dumplings, and scallion pancake. The beef bun was crispy and juicy, the dumplings were tender and tasty, and the scallion pancake was light and crispy. The service was friendly and quick, and the place had a cozy vibe. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Wanted to add - my review of breakfast is based on experience from 2022. I called the restaurant today and was informed that they stopped offering breakfast about 8 months ago (early 2024).

Wow!! I had the best experience at A&J. The staff was incredibly friendly and service was very fast. I got the beef noodle soup and it was exceptional - the perfect savory, spicy, and flavorful soup. The noodles seemed to be handmade as well and were so bouncy - the perfect texture. Definitely recommend visiting A&J!

Really enjoyed the dim sum especially for the price! The pan fried dumplings and the scallion pancakes were the two stand outs! Definitely want to come back to try more

The food here is spectacular! Everything was so delicious and flavorful. Cucumbers were crunchy and fresh, wonton soup was comforting and had lots of wonton. The chicken was super crispy and tasted delicious for a good price. The gem was the beef noodle soup. Noodles were chewy and the soup was bursting with flavor and it was spicy but not too spicy. The servers checked on us consistently and made us feel welcomed. Definitely coming back again!

Bad experience,if something you don't like,the flavor not good,you must tell the staff right away,when you check out,staff will supervise besides you,you can not choose customized tips which under 18%otherwise you will be challenged,sometimes people feel bad experience will pay less than 18% which you will be distinguished and educated you can not do that... We were so excited to try this restaurant when I saw its 4-star rating in Yelp. I checked their menu and they offer some of my favorites - spicy beef and tendon noodle soup, xiao long bao and braised pork over rice. First of all, the service and the ambiance at around 2:30PM was decent although we had to ask for service water hence the 2 stars. They earned so many awards which were all displayed on the wall so we were determined to order everything we wanted to try in this restaurant. Now the FOODs: Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup- I let my husband try it first since it's his favorite! He had his first bite and he didn't say anything. Then i knew it's not to his liking. I tried it next and oh my...what a disappointment. Very bland! there's not a hint of spice in there nor any seasoning. The noodles were soggy and it's unpalatable. I didn't want to waste the $15 so i just scoop out the tendons and ate it with my rice. Xiao Long Bao- Our all time favorite in a chinese restaurant so we ordered 2 servings at once. Big mistake! It was so dry and there's hardly no soup inside to make it a xiao long bao. So then it's just regular dry dumplings. No black vinegar and ginger as a sauce too. We barely managed to eat the 1st serving so we just had it to go. Scallion Pancakes- my son's favorite to order. He only ate 1 slice and he said he doesn't want it. Spare ribs- i was thinking of the typical black bean spare ribs smothered in oil but this one was different. We couldn't even figure out what it was until the lady told us it's the spare ribs ...we did not even bother to try it. Now the main reason why I wanted to try this restaurant is for the Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork over Rice) and so again we ordered 2. First look and I was already disappointed. The Lu Rou Fan I've been craving for was supposed to be small pieces of pork belly with the 5 spiced seasoning. This was minced pork over rice on a soy sauce. How i wish they specified that in the menu. I had to finish my order on this with disappointment. We also ordered the spicy dumpling and it's more like dumpling wrapper with some spice. What a disappoint overall.

This is THE place for authentic Chinese food. English subtitles on the menu. They used to only take cash but now also take credit card (I think). We ordered several items and then shared them among the 4 of us. Very good.

This is a good and tasty hole in the wall place that has a good system of seating you, ordering via circling on a paper menu, and getting your food out to you quickly. Very efficient! They serve you tea prior to getting your food. Absolutely loved the scallion pancake and pork dumplings! The Dan Dan noodles were tasty too. We took home leftovers. Tried the vegetarian delight which wasn't what I was expecting-- thought there would be more veggies-- but that's totally on me for not asking. My friend tried the spare ribs but she wasn't really a fan bc of the rice powder. She did enjoy her steamed pork bun. The bubble tea was fair, but they are other flavors to try! Would definitely come back and try more items on their extensive menu!

Pretty decent food. The small plates we tried included the scallion pancake, steamed beef dumplings, and the pan seared beef bun. The pancake was mediocre, but the pan seared beef bun was great. The spicy beef noodle soup with wide noodles were also very tasty. The wide noodles were especially great in texture and taste making it fun to eat. The restaurant staff were very quick and kind.

A&j is an amazing place to come for some Chinese fare. It's a cozy place with a good amount of seating and the staff has always been so nice. You order by circling on the paper menu and giving it to the server. Keep in mind this place is cash only! The prices are amazing especially since more and more things these days are increasing in price. I think their stars are definitely any of the noodle dishes, my personal favorite is the dandan mian. Their noodles are always so chewy and perfectly cooked. When you receive the food, mixing it is my favorite part because you get to just coat every noodle in that thick peanut/sesame sauce. I also had the beef noodle soup and the broth is just so dark and rich and nostalgic for me. They have a few options to pick what kind of meat you'd like in the soup and I just went for the basic option. I always have to order their cucumber dish! It's so refreshing and the cucumbers are always so fresh and crunchy. The portions here are fairly large and we had to get takeout boxes!

Overall: small casual shop, with okay food, minimal service, and single stall bathrooms All tables start with complimentary hot tea. Every time you needed service you had to get a servers' attention and even then the service was bare minimum- no extra words exchanged, but they were working fast and efficiently. The food came out relatively quickly. Everything was okay. My favorite dish of the evening was the braised pork over rice. There weren't many veggies on the menu.

Food: food is absolutely delicious everytime I go, and this is my go-to restaurant every week. If you go in the mornings there's dough sticks and soy milk which I really enjoy. There is no where else that makes spicy cucumbers like them. However, portions have been getting smaller over the years in my opinion. Service: service is good, servers are attentive Ambiance: older , family style restaurant, but kept clean all times.

We loved all the food at A&J. It's a busy, popular place but we were seated right away at 1pm on a Friday. Our friends from Bethesda did all the ordering so I'm not sure of everything that we had. These were not the typical dishes you see at most Chinese restaurants. Even looking back at their online menu, i can't say for sure all that we had! We had pan fried pork dumplings, some kind of cold greens, noodles with chicken, some kind of vegetable egg roll. It was all excellent. Despite not remembering the exact dishes, I highly recommend A&J.

A&J has been on my husband's list for ages, and we were finally able to stop in for lunch. It's a small space, and definitely plan to get there on the early side, if you'd like lunch. We arrived around 11:15, and by 11:30, all of the tables were taken. We were greeted with hot tea at the table, which was delightful on a cold day. To order, they provide a paper menu and pencil. Circle what you'd like, and it'll appear some minutes later. Service was quick, and water glasses were kept full. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered three vegetarian dishes. The menu lacks descriptions, so I went with the three things clearly marked vegetarian. The vegetarian bun was my favorite, and the bean curd skins with mushrooms was my least. It was a cold dish with limited flavor. It's clear many, many people love this restaurant; it just wasn't for me. Parking can be challenging, if you don't spot the restaurant right away (and even if you do).

Pretty good and solid food. Reminds me of a warm home cooked meal. Went on a weekday for lunch, completely empty. Good service, nice folks. Beef Noodle Soup 4/5 Good chewy noodles. Large chunks of meat. Spicy Wonton 4/5 More wrapper than filling. Still tasty.

I got wide noodle 1110 Spicy Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup (Szechuan soup), I found the meat very tender and juicy. Also the soup wasn't too spicy and I loved that bok choy was used in this dish. I really enjoyed the wide noodle 1202 Dan Dan Mian and it's must eat if you like dandan noodles but next time, I might get thin noodles for it. 3101 Chinese Style Fried Pork Chop on Rice, I found this dish okay and I think I prefer pork chop that's not fried (just a personal preference). 3107 Braised Pork on Rice (w/ a Braised Egg) was delicious. I really enjoyed 4104 Scallion Pancake because it's different from Korean pancakes since it's made out of dough! I did find the prices on pricer side but my friend and I were full by the end of the meal. I heard it does get busy during the weekends. We went on a Thursday around 5:30pm and we got seated immediately.

Stumbled across this gem and it's made it to the favorites list. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We got seated with a menu and got complimentary tea (thumbs up and loved it). We had a laminated menu and a paper menu with a pencil. After studying the menu it didn't take long to pick something out of the many options that all sounded good. ORDER: * Spicy Beef (wide) Noodles * The spicy beef noodles aren't too spicy to the point it's unbearably spicy. I encourage everyone to try it. I asked for the wide noodles when I noticed there's an option of thinner and wide noodles. This noodle and beef soup was delicious. The hot spicy oils blended into a soup. The noodles were generous portions and the beef; tender. I would have loved more meat to balance out the noodle portions. In the soup you can find green onions and bok choy. * Fried Pork Chops with Rice * I was pleasantly surprised the pork chop was perfectly fried. The light golden brown crisp wasn't too thick or thin. It had the perfect consistency of crisp in my opinion(not too batters or not battered enough). It came with fresh rice, some diced cabbage bites. SIDES: * Cucumber Salad * This side was great. It was sliced cucumber marinated in a hot oil, sesame oil, hot pepper and fresh garlic. I love garlic and the oils so this was highly enjoyable. Why didn't I think of this marinate (?). * Pork Dumplings * Typical pork dumplings - highly recommend SERVICE: Great - the staff were friendly and constantly checked on you. SUMMARY: In summary, I love A&J! I'm so glad I found this place and gave it a try. I love the fact it's a small daily restaurant full of might!

Delicious cheap eats in Rockville area! We ordered the pan fried dumplings, spicy beef noodles and braised pork with rice bowl. Everything was delicious and rich in flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more items! The service was speedy and attentive.

Locals know this is the OG! I've been dining here for about 20 years and the food, taste, and quality have been consistent. We ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Pot Stickers, Soy Bean Milk (Iced and Hot), and Youtiao (Chinese "donut") The food and service were excellent and I highly recommend this spot!

This small jewel of a restaurant has been around for at least 5 decades, and it has become a fixture for foodies around the DMV, which stands for District, Maryland & Virginia, and an acronym which according to the Washington City Paper apparently I invented 20 years ago or so. The food and service was amazing! It was my first visit, but my wife had been there years before and spoke highly of it. We had the cucumber salad in hot garlic sauce, bean curd with mushrooms, and the seaweed &bean sprouts in garlic and vinegar sauce for starters. The portions were very generous, and the taste spectacular! We then shared the shredded pork and mustard green soup ( huge size), along with the scallion pancake (ooooh... so good) and the aptly named thousand layer pancake. We were satiated and happily full. This is one was one of the best examples of Northern Chinese food ever! Great service, quick and terrific prices!

Stopped by here on a Friday evening around 7:30 and while the restaurant felt chaotic, the food was great! We all ordered a bunch of things to try and it was all delicious, minus the steamed dumplings. The spicy beef soup was SO GOOD and even better because it was freezing outside! The thing that didn't sit right with me was the food was coming out one thing at a time. I know, I know, some people might like that they are getting food fresh as it's done cooking but I generally am the type of person to wait for the whole table to get their food before eating and we were waiting about 10 min before everyone got what they ordered. Regardless of this, I will definitely be back! The food is super flavorful!

Loved the atmosphere and style of the restaurant from my first step in. It's small inside and out but the food is fantastic and not too be missed. The star for me was the Peking beef wrap. I wish I could get that more often. The bean curd skins with mushrooms was decent but I wouldn't get again. I feel like it needs more flavor or maybe heated up but it missed the mark for me. The steamed pork buns were yummy but not different from any other steamed pork buns. There were lots of options for me to try and I want to try more next time.

Love, love, LOVE A&J! My favorite are peking beef roll, chili wontons, and beef noodle. When ordering beef noodle, we recommend getting a thick noodle - they seem to make their own noodle or something because the noodle is super chewy! Chili wontons are small but perfectly seasoned. Peking beef roll is very crispy and flavorful. Their dan dan men is good too but peanut flavored - so depending on what type of dan dan men you like, you can choose to get it or not. Service is very fast - the place is small, nothing fancy, but the food is really great. They now take credit card too! No more Venmo :)

It was a first time back there in over 25 yrs. the food is very interesting. The soup we ordered was flavorful but needed soy sauce and hot peppers to give it seasoning. The fried chicken that came along with it needed a sweet-and-sour sauce to dip in. We ordered the fried pork chop and it was excellent. I cannot tell you what the side pickled vegetable was, and would not recommend it. the pan fried dumplings once you made the dumpling sauce at your table were excellent and I really like the taste of the boiled peanuts. the staff were very friendly and service was quick. The place after we arrived got very crowded and was noisy but had a cool vibe. I would recommend trying it.

One of the few places you can have traditional Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast. Ordered rice roll, Chinese donuts, pan fried dumplings and chinese crepes. My favorite is the pan fried dumplings. It's crunchy, juicy and flavorful. I can tell it's made from scratch. Although it took a bit longer to come but it was worth it. Other foods were just decent. Don't order the chinese crepes tho. Overall it's a comfortable meal.

Updating this review to say the food here is still amazing. I tried the Peking Beef Wrap the last time I went and it was delicious -- thin slices of beef, some veggies, and hoisin sauce (I think) wrapped in a crispy scallion pancake. They also accept card now.

I went to A&J's a few years ago and left feeling super underwhelmed. I was disappointed because I had so many friend and family speak highly of the place....turns out, I just ordered the wrong things! I decided to give this place another shot and ordered their scallion pancakes, potstickers/dumplings, fried chicken noodle soup, wonton soup, and bacon-turnip bun. Their dumplings and wontons were delicious! Their fried chicken was also extremely moist and the breading was perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of the turnip bun, but if you like sauerkraut, you'll probably like it. I definitely retract my last review. This place is great :)

I am so sad I didn't come here sooner! This place is so good! We came here with a party of 8, including 4 children and got so much food. We had the xiao long bao, thousand layer pancakes, spicy cucumber, Peking beef wrap (so good!), Chinese style fried chicken with rice (so good!), pot stickers, and a few other things. The only thing we didn't like was the fried beef buns, it was a bit greasy. On the weekends they have a breakfast menu and our kids (and us) enjoyed the Chinese bread and dipped it in hot soy milk. The service is great, everything comes out super fast. They did have high chairs but didn't have any baby changing stations.

I love both A&J locations but this one specifically does lu ruo fan so well. Highly recommend.

Hands down my favorite dim sum restaurant in the area! Right on Rockville pike, there's plenty of parking available out front. Please note that this place is CASH ONLY, but they also accept Venmo! The service is so quick. It was a busy Friday night, and we were immediately seated and served hot tea. We received a paper menu where we marked what we wanted. If dim sum is new to you, be sure to check out pics of the food beforehand if you want to have an idea of what you're ordering- as the menus do not have pictures. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, xiao long bao, smoked chicken, pan fried vegetable bun, and spicy beef noodle soup. The smoked chicken was smoky and tender. The Dan Dan noodles were so flavorful. I loved that both noodle dishes had handmade noodles. The spicy beef noodle soup broth was insanely good. Rich and not too spicy.If there is one thing you order, definitely make sure it's the beef noodle soup. The XLB were not the best I've ever had. I prefer my dumplings to be more soupy, however they were still a good size and the dough was not too thick. For everything we ordered, the bill came out to $40. Very reasonable prices and the best dim sum we've had in the area. We will definitely be back!

Delicious and consistently good Chinese food. This place can get busy on the weekends, especially around lunch time. I always get a spicy beef noodle soup here and a variety of small plates. Among the top choices for small plates include: scallion pancake, potstickers, pork dumplings, beef dumplings, sliced beef, cucumber salad and bean curd with mushrooms. I'm not really a fan of soup dumplings in general, but they could be ok too. Basically, if you're in the mood for Chinese small plates: you will find something you like

I grew up eating here in Taiwan. There are so many things on the menu that I love but I didn't get to try them. Just had the pan fried beef bun and turnip pastry. Loved the beef bun it tastes like home but I am not in love with the turnip pastry as the pastry was too thick and bit dry.

This was very good authentic Chinese food. No fanfare but really solid food. Very quick service and good service. Food is amazing. Worth trying all the items on the menu. Highly recommend them.

It was an ok first time experience but I plan to return Tucked away small place on a side street, very casual, cash only. Service was adequate, not pushy. They forgot one item, when reminded at the end of the meal to ensure we are not charged, served it and charged anyway The cucumber salad was tasty. Pan fried dumplings were good, though were kind of doughy and undercooked in parts. Dan Dan noodles were fine. Steamed pork dumplings were ok Streamed pork ribs in five spices were definitely not my thing. Overcrumbed. My wife liked the scallions pancake, I wasn't a fan. 50 bucks, tax n tip Next time going to focus on a soup, some noodles and some grilled meat.

Came here on a whim Saturday night and I was blown away. When I walked in, it was bustling and packed with people (families, dates, friends). That's when I knew this was going to be good. We sat down immediately and were handed a paper menu, a pot of tea, and water. We penciled in our orders and handed them to one of the waitresses. We saw other tables with a whole arrangement of foods and wanted to try everything (definitely come with a large group so you can order more!) We did our best ordering and everything that came out was delicious. Our favorite was the 4105. Guo Tie, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, huge dumplings that's enough to share for two! You can also make your dipping sauce with the condiments at your table. Our total came out to $50 bucks for two people (and we didn't even finish our food and even ordered some to go!) Amazing deal for amazing food. Service was fast and efficient, must be stressful working here but the ladies were accommodating and helped me with all my questions. Tip: This is a cash-only place! But if you don't have any on you, they do offer Venmo payments.

Came in on a Monday night around 8:00. Restaurant was very clean and the environment was very calm and chill. We were seated immediately, probably due to the time my wife and I got there. Servers brought out menus, tea, and water quickly. Note: To order you have to use the pencil and circle what you want. Ordered our food shortly after being seated and the food came out quickly. We ordered pig ears, pan-fried pork dumplings, and beef noodle soup. The food was delicious and packed full of flavor. The pig ears came with a nice spice to it as well, somewhat chewy. The beef noodle soup's spice was really nice as well, adding great flavors. It was blended well with a lot of protein, vegetables, and noodles. Added a little bit of the chili oil for personal preference, but it wasn't needed. Definitely coming back to try different dumplings.

Their beef noodle soup is still one of my favorites. But appetizer with a noodle soup will cost you more than $25, including tax and tips - not exactly "cheap eats."

I decided to give this place a try because i seen it on tiktok. I got the Beef soup with thin noodles and clear broth. They gave me 2 small pieces of beef to put in the soup. Just 2 pieces. The broth was flavorless. I had to add my type of seasoning to give it flavor. I ended up turning it into a Pho soup. Also i got the fried dumplings. Fried? They were more like burnt and no dipping sauce. Sad to say, i regret going here and never again will.

I write again to praise A&J and consolidate my earlier comments. This is a lively, busy restaurant exemplifying the Chinese phrase re nao, which translates sort of as loud, raucous, exciting, and crowded, but in a positive sense. I believe it might have changed during the pandemic, from slight differences in the dishes and turnover of waitstaff. It remains a reliable choice for Taiwanese, or northern Chinese, dim sum, which is not the same as the Cantonese/southern style. You should be mindful it is popular enough to have folks waiting outside for a table on weekends, though typically not off hours on weekdays, and it is cash only. Many of the patrons are families, including extended, and the cuisine isn't suited to solo diners. It is cash only. Expect to be in and out, not to linger. We have a ritual. We visit my mother at the cemetery. Then we have dim sum. We have leftovers for two days; that is the way to do it, so you can sample as much of the range of the menu as possible. I do not know what it is called in English, if it even has a name. They have that savory cruller, the fried greasy stick, which you put into sesame seed covered flatbread (yes, starch in starch). They have many comfort foods, if you grew up on these tastes: scallion pancakes, potstickers, dan dan noodles, congee, and small dishes such as spicy cucumber and boiled peanuts. They have items I do not recall consuming in childhood, but it would be a mistake to suppose your own upbringing is representative. We had, for example, a chicken dish that was not bad, just not what my mother would make. We have only a bit of a drive here. I deem it worth traveling to. Just note it's not for a first date or a fancy outing. This is for a relaxing morning with the people you know well, in a setting without pretense. I have very few places where I can go without stress. That is important to find.

Still pretty solid although there are some changes to be noted. They finally accept credit cards! No more venmo however, hmmm wonder what happened there? Ordered the pork chop over rice (my go-to here) and several dishes to share: Peking beef roll, potstickers, scallion pancake, thousand layer pancake, cucumber salad. All of it was still good, although couldn't believe the Peking rolls are now $15, one of the most expensive items on the menu. Maybe if you got three of them, but 2 for $15 is ridiculous and not worth it anymore. Service was adequate, water/tea refilled several times and food came out fast.

They STOPPED serving breakfast, which made me sooooo sad because I waited for 45 minutes in the car this morning at 10 am (which was the time listed on Yelp). When I got out of the car and checked, I found out they changed the opening time to 11:30 am and had a notice saying no breakfast would be served. It's just so disappointing . I went to try this place for the first time. The service was great very friendly waitresses. The dumpling and the spicy wontons were sooo good. As for the spicy beef noodle soup wasn't really for me, its pretty greasy, i like the noodles though. I just didnt like the flavor, everything else was really yummy!

A & J is one of the best Taiwanese food places I've ever had in this area. My sister and I love to come here for traditional Taiwanese breakfast especially. We got some breakfast food and also some lunch food. The food we've tried are all pretty tasty, I remember the only thing we didn't like here is the Chinese pancake, I remember tasting it very bland. We couldn't finish it. The beef wrap and rice roll were very good, and the beef noodle soup is excellent. The server was friendly as well, although he was super busy all the time. We will definitely be coming back next time when we want some authentic Taiwanese food.
