I’ve ordered here now for about a year, and usually between noon and 16:00, there is much to be desired here, and I’m sure a change in management or enforcing of SOPs would really shape up this location.
I can only account for the ribs here, as my usual order is a half slab or full slab mild with a pecan pie. I do not believe they remove the membrane from the ribs, if you care about that sort of thing. I’ve seen some say that their bbq is slathered with sauce; I’ve not had an overbearing amount of sauce, and I will say that it’s usually coated with just enough sauce. Pecan pie is pecan pie.
The service and atmosphere here has very seldomly risen to the bar of bare minimum. You’d hardly ever hear a greeting when you enter. Most recently, 09/06/2025, I stopped by and ordered my usual via the new mobile app. While the app notifies you that your order is ready, there could be human error in actual expedition. A staff member asked me for my order name, then disappeared into the back. About 5 mins later I had to repeat this process and was then given my order by another member of staff on the phone with very much a “here, damn” attitude. Very often, if you attempt to call in an order, you have a high chance of being greeted with “A&R BBQ hold please”. Photos are incoming.
