A&W Jewel Changi Airport

Nice A&W root beer float! Order and payment via kiosk. Collect your drink on drink collection point. Just wait for the buzzer to ring to collect the food. The food was great. Flacour chicken and tender inside. Good service and cleanliness. Recommended!

Used to be a favourite go to... How far they have fallen. $9.40 for a burger with measly patty, the cheese thinner and smaller than the patty, and nothing much else. Curly fries consisted of maybe 60% curly ones; the rest were just broken bits of fries sitting at the bottom of the small packet below. At this point, even the root beer doesn't make up for anything here. Think I should have gone to Sukiya instead. I dont like to say bad things, so I won't continue.

Ordered 2 sets of chicken combo at A&W Changi Airport and it was the biggest regret of my trip. If not for the limited food options at the airport, I would never have chosen to eat here. I’ve had a great experience at the Mandai outlet before, which makes this even more infuriating. This Changi Airport outlet is shockingly bad, so bad that I will never patronise A&W again. The root beer was completely flat, zero gas, basically sugar water. The chicken was a disaster. Oil everywhere except in the meat, dry beyond belief, and tasted horrible like it had been refried multiple times. Tough, greasy, and utterly flavourless. Paying airport prices for this kind of food is daylight robbery. Eat at your own risk.

Happy to see that they have the new meat free Double Cheese Soywich ( I’ll definitely try it next time). Enjoyed my Root Beer Float before my flight ~ Sweet Childhood Memories. Place is clean. Service staff are friendly and helpful, especially the male manager.

The thing about fast food restaurants is that the standard or quality of the food is fairly assured to be about the same. With that said, the chicken and fries served here were piping hot. Maybe we were just lucky with the timing of the food coming out of the fryers. What stood out for us was the excellent service here today. When we arrived, we were ushered in to a seat, and because we brought our baby in a stroller, the staff moved away one of the chairs at the table and helped us settle in with the stroller beside us. Next, when we had issues with the changi rewards app, the staff helped us complete the order first before getting the changi reward points. We were really happy with the attitude and speed of the staff.

I placed an order through Foodpanda for pickup. The app. indicated that the food would be ready at 5:44pm. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 5:46pm, a Chinese lady informed me that the food was still being prepared. I waited for half an hour at the restaurant. At 6:10 PM, I inquired again with the Chinese lady preparing the food, only to learn that my meal had not yet been prepared. I had to remind her once more regarding my order. My order was only served 15 minutes later. She appeared to prioritize customers who ordered at the counter and seemed to have forgotten about the Foodpanda order. The hot dog and burger were not warm when I arrived home, which took me 15 minutes to reach.

I almost always feel nostalgic whenever I have A&W. You absolutely cannot miss the iconic root beer float in a pre-chilled mug that weighs a ton. Tried the coney dog with beef sauce & fried chicken. The coney dog is decent. The chicken was seasoned well but might have been slightly overcooked. Overall, worth a visit especially if you need your A&W fix.

Delicious fast food with ultimate float - sarsi and generous dollop of ice cream. The elderly uncle was helpful!
