Aaraama Restaurant - SilverKris

"Set within one of Siem Reap’s longest-running hotels (opened 1994), this waterside venue enhances the property’s outdoor setting with lily ponds and waterside villas and sits beside the Kenary Lounge, known for its lust-worthy sofas, antiques and Grand Tour–era artworks. Its culinary program is strictly Khmer: chef Touch Savon curates tapas-style, select menus that reinterpret Cambodia’s changing tastes and revive long‑forgotten recipes. The hotel joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World in 2008 and faces the opulent Apsara Theatre, a showcase for traditional Khmer dance." - SilverKris

Yani, Chiva and Minea are angels💖🙏🏼 Thank you ladies for giving me such a special birthday to remember and for all your efforts surprising me with the beautiful cake. Another huge thank you to the gentleman on reception who liaised with my partner before and during the visit in organising this special surprise🙏🏼 The restaurant and hotel grounds are so beautiful, peaceful and well-maintained. All the staff are friendly and professional and go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. We tried several appetisers from the diverse menu which is sectioned into themed periods throughout Cambodia’s history. As a history lover I thought this was a really fun element. The Beef Lak Lok and the Lemongrass Chicken were both incredible, the chefs here are very talented and create the dishes with care and style.

5 stars 🌟 One of the most magical dining experiences I’ve ever had. The setting alone is unforgettable — surrounded by trees and a peaceful pond, it honestly felt like something out of a movie. We ordered 3 starters, 1 main, and 2 desserts, and everything was beyond delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — hands down the best food I’ve had in my life. What’s even more incredible is the value — all of that, including drinks, came to just $42! I’ve dined at many restaurants, but this one truly stands out. Highly, highly recommend. You won’t regret it.

The hospitality is incredible! Everyone who works here is warm, kind and exceptionally accommodating! I was a solo traveler and they were consistent in ensuring I had an amazing time in their country and even gave me the recipe for Khmer coffee.

Amazing Khmer food and excellent service. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. The fish pond view and Khmer style building surrounding makes the place magnificent. I really love it all!!

We had a great meal here. From appetizers to dessert and even the drinks, everything was natural and fresh. Flavors were on point and we were able to try some local dishes we had yet to see.

Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere! We had the chicken and beef skewers with lemongrass and the traditional beef Lok Lak – all were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The fresh watermelon juice was super refreshing. The place is decorated in authentic Cambodian style with elephant statues and a lily pond, making it feel magical. Great service too – friendly and attentive. A must-visit in Siem Reap!

Friendly staff, yet need a bit of improvement on how to handle customer! I was waiting like 5-10 minutes to get staff come to make an order! Food is good, environment looks pretty good!

A beautiful restaurant with unbelievable food! Highly recommend the prawn curry and fish amok. Slightly on the expensive side for Siem Reap but the price is right for the dining experience.
