Aaraama Restaurant - SilverKris

"Set within one of Siem Reap’s longest-running hotels (opened 1994), this waterside venue enhances the property’s outdoor setting with lily ponds and waterside villas and sits beside the Kenary Lounge, known for its lust-worthy sofas, antiques and Grand Tour–era artworks. Its culinary program is strictly Khmer: chef Touch Savon curates tapas-style, select menus that reinterpret Cambodia’s changing tastes and revive long‑forgotten recipes. The hotel joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World in 2008 and faces the opulent Apsara Theatre, a showcase for traditional Khmer dance." - SilverKris

5 stars 🌟 One of the most magical dining experiences I’ve ever had. The setting alone is unforgettable — surrounded by trees and a peaceful pond, it honestly felt like something out of a movie. We ordered 3 starters, 1 main, and 2 desserts, and everything was beyond delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — hands down the best food I’ve had in my life. What’s even more incredible is the value — all of that, including drinks, came to just $42! I’ve dined at many restaurants, but this one truly stands out. Highly, highly recommend. You won’t regret it.

We had a great meal here. From appetizers to dessert and even the drinks, everything was natural and fresh. Flavors were on point and we were able to try some local dishes we had yet to see.

The hospitality is incredible! Everyone who works here is warm, kind and exceptionally accommodating! I was a solo traveler and they were consistent in ensuring I had an amazing time in their country and even gave me the recipe for Khmer coffee.

Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere! We had the chicken and beef skewers with lemongrass and the traditional beef Lok Lak – all were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The fresh watermelon juice was super refreshing. The place is decorated in authentic Cambodian style with elephant statues and a lily pond, making it feel magical. Great service too – friendly and attentive. A must-visit in Siem Reap!

Amazing Khmer food and excellent service. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. The fish pond view and Khmer style building surrounding makes the place magnificent. I really love it all!!

A truly wonderful restaurant with a carefully curated selection of high-quality dishes. The ambiance is absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful wooden elements, a serene water lily pond, and flowing water. The staff is so attentive and friendly, always welcoming guests with a warm smile, making it hard to leave. After a few days, we returned, and they still remembered our special requests, such as no coriander, as well as our preferred drinks.

A beautiful restaurant with unbelievable food! Highly recommend the prawn curry and fish amok. Slightly on the expensive side for Siem Reap but the price is right for the dining experience.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The service is incredible, so friendly and personal. I ordered my dish without coriander and the staff still knew this when I came back a few days later…wow. ☺️ The food was very delicious, I can highly recommend the Tofu Satay and Mango Sticky Rice. They have several vegan/vegetarian options and super fair prices. Highly recommend.
