Such a wonderful, hippie-chic store! They carry a huge selection of high-quality, independent artisan brands that you won't necessarily find elsewhere. Every product feels thoughtfully curated. This is my go-to shop for finding unique birthday presents!

such a lovely little store! i know next to nothing about jeans but the employees, john and daniel, were so kind and helpful. they were incredibly accommodating even as it got closer to their closing time (do not do what we did!!! go earlier because you will want to spend as much time as you can in there!) if you have money to spend (and lots of it) drop by and browse the collection, you will definitely leave satisfied, even if you didn’t end up buying anything!

If you haven’t made it to the Bay Area’s AB Fits stop reading and go now. I came for the denim but in a time when I can order anything online, it’s the people who work there and the philosophy at AB Fits that keep me going back. I tend to avoid high end clothing stores, my experience dealing with Tragically Cool employees is exhausting, but not AB Fits. The shop has a culture of genuine enthusiasm love of clothing but most importantly they all seem to get actual enjoyment from helping you find exactly what will look great in you. My family has gone on 4 occasions. John has been our main stylist, but they everyone jumps in, they learn our names, they remember our style and they don’t just steer you toward the most expensive thing, the primary focus is what is going to look good on you. It’s low pressure and genuinely a delight. So I say again, if you like TOP quality clothing, and epic denim selection and the most wonderful staff you’ve ever met, get to AB Fits.

I’ve now bought two amazing jackets and umpteen other items from this Grant Street hideaway. Whenever I have “difficult-to-buy-for” relatives from Europe, I always drag them here…. and they’re always elated with options not found anywhere else. Top Recommendation!! A must-see boutique clothing shop…

Cool boutique tucked on a side street. Parking may seem challenging, but if you pay attention they have their own spot directly in front of the door, just ask to be let in. The clothes are nice, quite a few lesser known brands and some more recognizable denim options. The staff is very nice and laid back, providing a comfortable shopping experience. There are clothes for both men and women, but I'd say tends to skew towards masculine unisex styles. Overall cool store - check it out.

Me and my wife's new favorite store. We stumbled upon this excellent clothing store as Canadian tourist and Howard took real good care of us. They have tremendous collection of brands from all over the world covering both men and women stuff. We especially love their curated collection of Americana workwear. Coming to this store is more than just shopping for clothes but an experience where Howard will take really good care of you. We are definitely telling all our friends back home in Vancouver, Canada bout this place!

Came in looking for a "fun and functional" summer wedding outfit. Erin (sp?) took my vague assignment and turned it into a killer outfit. It ain't cheap, but you won't find better quality or service anywhere. And you'll always leave looking better than when you came.

Unique store and brands and a denim sewing machine on hand to make edits to your break in length of jeans just as you want it. My husband was looking for black jeans but ended up finding a great fitting light grey pair! The Jeans were hemmed and sewn and ready the next day- awesome, cause he was needing them soon. The price is the price. They have their own brands and others I haven't seen before a lot of unique tops, sweater's, jackets to check out as well etc. Nice to discover a new place to look. Definitely check them out. We were like a broken record always going to the same place- this felt fresh. And he has a new pair of Summer jeans.

I'm almost perpetually between a large and extra large in most brands, so it can be tough to find men's brands that aren't too big (or small). Howard and Leah both spent so much time with me, and helped me assemble a set of new staples that have become my go-to everyday clothing. Howard has such a good eye for fit, he just repeatedly grabbed items that fit me perfectly. And, there wasn't even one ounce of pressure or false praise on an item just to get me to buy. If you're looking for the opposite of fast fashion and to get some items that are built to last at a reasonable price point for the quality, this is your spot.

Amazing shop and most of all incredibly caring and talented people. Came in looking for some new denim jeans and just saying I was helped is an understatement, was guided and styled by Harold himself who is so sweet and thoughtful. I think it's rare these days to come across a craftsman whose so skilled and knowledgeable in their trade like Harold, it's honestly an experience! He picked out some jeans for me after I told him what I was looking for and they were perfect, love them!! Even was able to get them hemmed up on a quick notice since I was just down for the day from Sebastopol (got a great recommendation for a spot in China Town while I waited too). Some pieces are a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for in quality, luckily the pair I liked were in my price range and didn't mind shelling a buck towards a quality pair of jeans. Definitely coming by again, even just to pet the shop dog!

Buyer beware, you'll be kicked out if you don't buy something. I was in the area and decided to check out this little store with my brother in law, immediately upon entering we were greeted by the owner, however while looking at some jeans and sweatshirts, we were being watched very closely by a worker standing directly in front of the entrance door, I ignored this, and after my brother in law tried on some ($280) jeans, the owner approached and asked us what he thought. He said he loves them, but is browsing around for now. The man's expression visibly shifted from a smile to a frown, and he told us that "if we want to browse we should check out other places" and literally motioned us out the door with his hands. I was about to buy a jumper, but I'm glad I didn't, because rude and greedy business practices should not be rewarded. Reader beware, take your money to an establishment that treats you like a person and not a walking stack of money.

Howard did a great job affixing a replacement jeans button for a reasonable price, and fast. Would go to him again for quality clothes work.

Their sales folks are jeaniuses ;) I brought my fav pair in to have the crotch fixed up. Repairs take 1 week / $25 (good deal) My girl and I hoped on finding some solid black jeans. They offered us a few options and again the sales folks helped narrow it down quickly. Overall we were in and out in about 30 mins. Great shop, great reputation and solid products. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny ($200-300), but their products are worth it.

Strolled in here with a friend last weekend and was delighted by the service! At the door, your temperature is taken. The owner attentively listened to the type of jeans I was looking for. He introduced me to a couple of unique brands. Afterwards, I worked with Aaron to find the perfect pair! I will definitely be back to shop here.

I live in Los Angeles & NYC and have been shopping here for years. Not only do they carry the best denim in the country, their customer service is world class.

I finally decided to go for my holy grail of raw denim and bought a pair of Samurai Geisha. I originally wanted to get them hemmed at another store in Socal with more experience but gave A B Fits a try because of their denim collection and reviews. I am beyond disappointed that they did not get the hem right.... One leg is longer than the other and I even expressed to them how important this pair jeans is to me and what it means to have it done right. If both sides were too long it wouldn't be a problem but one hem is the right length and the other is too short...unbelievable.... at least they got the tapering part right -_- . I am so disheartened that my favorite pair of jeans just got ruined if this can't be fixed.. I waited a really long time before purchasing this pair and it means the world to me... can't believe it turned out like this. If you have a pair of jeans that you love.... beware and be sure to tell them the length exactly! Don't depend on just the pinning because they only pin one side!! I will definitely be bringing this back to get it straighten out, not about to let my $300 pair of jeans go to waste. Check Photos for the uneven hem!

I was just reminded what a treasure this place is. I walk in, Howard hands me a pair of jeans, remembering that I bought the same brand 4 years ago (I visit AB Fits ~1x per year). They fit great, we measure the leg, back in a week, jeans shopping done for the year, partner jealous of my great jeans. There's a reason I've been coming here for 13 years!

After trying on 3-4 pairs and chatting with Jen, she picked out a killer pair of jeans......this place ain't cheap, but ahhhh, you kinda know that going in........thus if you karp 'bout the price......'nuff said. Also, Howard (the owner) concentrates on peculiar small brands that do go out of business, thus the ever changing brands of jeans in the place. Top notch....top service.

I've had a really good experience at this store but only for men's clothes. My fiance bought a pair of pants there once and a few weeks later went back where not only did they remember his name, they also remembered his size, and pulled out the jeans he wanted without even asking him! Then when I went to buy him something and wasn't sure it would fit the same salesman, who happened to be about the same size, tried it on and then MEASURED it against another shirt he had to make sure it was the right fit. So nice! Sometimes it does feel kinda stuffy (particularly the downtown store more than the northbeach one) but they have some really cool things and a good selection of jeans for men and women. Prepare to drop mad cash tho!

Howard, Sam, and Jordan are fantastic. They know quality clothing and proper fit. I've purchased a couple pairs of denim, and have used their chain stitch hemming services without problems.

I love AB Fits. They follow COVID protocols well. They have a great selection of jeans, shirts and jackets. Howard is an expert at helping to find the right fit. Shopping at AB Fits is a truly enjoyable experience.

Every city needs a pretentious denim store and this is San Francisco's. Was in here for 30 minutes and didn't have a single person come by to help me leaving me to sort through their ridiculous number of variations of skinny jeans. If you have any sort of muscles in your legs whatsoever you will be SOL here. This place is clearly aimed at the hipster set.

I came in from the East Bay based on the strength of their reviews and I was not disappointed. I was looking for a jean jacket, and we spent the next half hour trying on a variety of jackets in all styles and price points. When I couldn't find one off the rack I was happy with, their salesperson went into the back and pulled a couple more, including a black Circle of Friends jacket that was perfect, and reasonably priced too! I'll come back when I need more jeans :)

Howard, Sam, and the entire staff at A B Fits is amazing. Sometimes shopping for new jeans / denim can be intimidating but they'll take the time to help you find a style and fit that works for you. They'll give you an honest opinion of what they think with no pressure to buy. The quality and the selection of denim brands can't be beat. I've had a couple of older pairs of jeans that needed repairs (seat, crotch, hem, etc). They were able to repair and reinforce my jeans beautifully and affordably.

Found this place thanks to fellow yelpers, and it did not disappoint! If you're tired of having multiple pairs of imperfectly fitting jeans, THIS is the place for you. Sometimes, you just need an expert eye to tell you what does and does not work. Because sadly, twenty odd years of staring at yourself in the mirror means that sometimes what you see is NOT what others see. And buying THE JEANS is not a time where you want your girls to sugar-coat the obvious. ***************************** Jean Buying 101: - Get off your butt and get into AB fits. Alone. - If you're looking for jeans for a particular shoe height, wear that shoe into the store. - Wear something form fitting so the gurus there can size you as you walk in the door. (I'm convinced they sized you way before you walked in the door -- they're that good...) - All they need from you is general details of what you want -- how many pairs, going out vs. casual. - Don't argue with their sizing, just take what they give you and go try it on. Even if you stare incredulously at the scrawny legs they just handed you. - Pour yourself into said jeans, and come out for them to evaluate. - Repeat above two steps until you (they) determine the best pair. (Hem adjustment is included in the service.) - Wear with impunity. ******************* Pricey? Yes. Hassle free? Yep. Worth it? Absolutely!

They used to have great clothes but something happened.... They have a good selection of jeans but the staff leaves something to be desired. A lot of places can be thorough and friendly if nothing out of the ordinary happens but when something is not in the 'if x then y' matrix do you fall apart? This is the true test of the quality of any place or person. Their Customer Service style is well, dismissive.

I've gone to Howard over the past couple years anytime I'm looking to get a new pair of jeans. He is great with making sure you get the right fit as well as a master when it comes to hemming. A B Fits carries high-quality​ clothing (especially with raw denim) and Howard always has the best recommendations​ for upping my style.

TL;DR: Howard's the man. If you want quality denim and a ton of other stuff you won't see elsewhere, go here. We're lucky to have a spot like this in SF. Alterations are great too (and way cheaper than Self Edge). Howard knows his stuff, gives great recommendations, and has a laid back personality that I imagine would be inviting to even the noobest of denim noobs. His customer service alone is a reason to pick this place over the competition (trust me, I've tried a few others). The shop has a good selection of US brands, but also carries some Japanese brands (e.g. I got a pair of Big John jeans). Only reason I'd buy from another shop honestly is if there's a maker I want that AB doesn't carry (not like most of this stuff ever goes on sale, especially true of the brands AB Fits doesn't carry). I will say that the pieces here are out of the price range of many. There's a whole debate there that I'm not getting into here.

The selection in this store works best if you're a skinny man in need of a large sandwich. However, if your thighs are rippled like Thor's and your legs can kick Shaka Zulu's arse (like mine can), then the selection is perhaps a bit slim. Nevertheless, there's a nice selection of custom (never-heard-of-the-designer) brands that are fresh and you won't run into someone wearing on the BART. The staff that I encountered here were very strong-willed, which is good when they apply that "will" to helping you get a nice fit. It also means that they'll try to sell you something even if it "painted on" (re: Thor's thighs) and not too comfortable. So be strong-willed back. At the end of the day, for your mid-range designer jean price, I walked away (actually walked home) in the new pair! 4 Stars!!

After jeans shopping failure in two states at 12 different stores (probably more than five dozen attempted pairs) I had nearly given up on having denim in my middle-aged life all together under the sad life realization that NOBODY makes jeans for men of average height and shape. (Special "thank you, Bitch" to the kid at Citizen's in the Castro for being brutally honest ["Yeah, those are a total snore on you."]) So I relinquished my false sense of control and gave my free over will to the search engine of yelp, vowing to try whatever shop first popped up on my search: "Best jeans shop for men, San Francisco, CA." And voila: AB Fits appeared--like a Marina Chick at a Lulu Lemon sale. After an extremely no-pressure welcome to the shop (and a greeting by resident dog, Ginger), I gave my challenge to the sales staff: 30" waist, hips, and moderate quadriceps (that means "skinny fit" jeans won't even clear my knees). After another ten try-ons, and an admitted "Yeah, you have an interesting body shape," from George. "But I don't think you have a 30-inch waist," Ginger accompanied me to the changing room, where we settled on two pairs: one Levi's vintage redux and one San Francisco line--both high waist-ed to give my freakish body a more-normal look (RE: hide those hips!). George's sales commission from my purchase will probably pay half his rent for the month--I tried bargaining him down by asking what my "check in on Yelp!" discount was [nada/zilch/nothing]--but that's okay. Mission complete. I now have new jeans (or will have after the "free" hemming, which will take about a week)--and a great place to go to get future pairs. One happy camper!

OK, so I'm from LA. That means I am used to great shopping: offbeat boutiques, emerging designers... it is easy to dress well there. Not so up here in the Bay Area. People really wear Banana Republic... like, all the time. As I cannot afford to fly back down south every time I need a wardrobe update, I was very pleased to find AB fits. They actually carry jeans that are not found in every low-budget shop on Union Street. I bought three pairs that I already love endlessly, and they are not seven/citizens/james/true religion/chip&pepper. The salespeople really know their stuff: trust them, and they will find what you want, and steer you away from what won't work (example: I wanted to try on some Rogans, but was dissuaded as they were "not for my body type". I pushed, and had a horrible self-esteem moment when said jeans would not go past my knees). Plus they hemmed them for free - nice touch.

Did you ever see the Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode? It was funny right? Well now imagine it was an episode about jeans.... and I give you Howard, The Jean Nazi! If you've been looking for a place to buy jeans where you can be treated like a complete jeantard, condescended to and generally treated as if you have never even seen a pair of pants before, then this store is for you. And you get to pay a premium for it. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and love a neighborhood boutique. I also love spending money on quality cool things, but I don't expect to be treated badly in the process. To be even fairer I gave this store two tries. The second was not better than the first, and I ended up buying a pair of pretty nice jeans but will never go back.

Lots already written about AB Fits, but worth mentioning again how refreshing it is to go grab a pair of jeans at a place that knows their shit and doesn't carry an attitude to prove it. Went a few weeks ago not really looking to buy anything, but decided to try a few pairs on anyway. I'm not super picky, but generally don't buy spur of the moment. The woman working that day pulled out some sizes, had me try a bunch of options on and found a pair that fit perfect, decent price and exactly the style/wash that I prefer (plain pockets, dark wash, and straight cut). Yeah prices are high in general, but you (should) know that going in. The free alterations shave a couple $$ off buying other places, combine that with the good karma of supporting a local business and you've almost self justified the extravagance.

Came in after getting my mani/pedi next door - after checking to see that the dog was not there. Being afraid of dogs, I've been kept away from here often. This visit, I met the owner - Howard. I also managed to pick up a couple tops, a dress, two denim trousers and a jacket for hubby. Love the Raven trousers - great for work and play. Great to see they are carrying more feminine tops, not just sporty ones. The soft material and simple cut with a twist makes a great top. The dress with the sheer fabric top and elastic bottom is a great LBD. Fall items will be arriving soon, can't wait.

This place is awesome for men's clothing. But the prices... ouch. Even the sale stuff was pretty outrageous. But nevertheless, I dug deep and found a little something quite cute. The people that work there are very attentive. You will find mostly t-shirt, jeans, some dresses and skirts and jewelery.

These guys carry some awesome denim brands and have a great knowledge of what they sell. I just had two jeans repaired here and while a little pricy, they did a fantastic job that will last me a long time. I'm not giving 5 stars because they are cash only which is laughable for a shop where the average piece is well over $100. I'm all for helping business owners run a lean business but come on, $200 purchases as cash only? Seems a little shady no? Square readers can be set up in an hour. Please handle this. Otherwise great shop!

I can't recommend Howard enough for denim restoration. He brought back a pair of APCs (that i put 7 years of work in) of mine back to life. Was honest, straightforward and had a very speedy turnaround time. His work is towards the pricier end of the spectrum, but extremely high quality.

Awesome line of jeans, awesome staff. They've got a great selection of hard to find jeans with lots of great different styles. The folks that work here do a great job of helping find a pair that looks good. They'll do alterations if you need which look just as good as coming from the factory. Their line of clothing and jewelry is great as well. This is one of those places that I have to go to every time I'm in the City.

In terms of both service and stock list, AB Fits is honestly as good as it gets. Sam, George and the legendary Howard do well to make you feel like you're at home while perusing their seemingly endless supply of (don't quote me on this) vintage workwear apparel and denim. For those that are serious about finding a pair of pants that fits like they want, 'Any Butt Fits' is honestly the best you're going to find in the area. They stock various fits/jeans for both men and women, from skinny to straight, all from reputable producers, so quality is never an issue. Plus, they'll alter your denim purchases for free after noting where changes need to be made. Apart from the buying experience, AB Fits is also a joy to work with in terms of alterations. The crew is extremely knowledgeable about pants and really does deliver when it comes to fix-ups. Which are reasonable. The shop has provided to both denim connoisseurs and casual-pants-wearers for 20+ years, and the quality of their goods, their customer service and their overall knowledge of the industry is exemplary. Definitely stop by for a positive experience.

Howard, Samantha and Ginger (the dog) provide the best service you're ever going to get. This is literally the only store I will buy denim from, whether I'm flush or broke. The crew understands fit and has the patience to walk you through as many different styles and sizes that it takes until you find the perfect pair. My last five pairs of jeans have come from this store and they're worth every penny.

I needed to taper my selvedge denim and this was the right place to go. Samantha was the girl that helped me out and she was very friendly and definitely knew her stuff. The price was right and I was in and out of the store within 15 min. The turnaround was fast too! The alteration was done in less than a week and I am more than happy with the result. All of my future repair and alteration will be done by Any Butt Fits.

It's spendy, it's quirky, it's Americana from around the world. If you want the best jeans you've ever worn, shop here. If, like me, you realize that there is a dinner party in 90 minutes and you just finished a bike ride at your buddy's place and your apartment is on the other side of town and can't wear full spandex to said dinner party... shop here. I had seen the store a handful of times, even browsed once or twice, and hadn't bought anything. I dug everything on offer, but couldn't swing the price to add to my already full closet. Until the story above happened and I knew I'd like everything I bought from AB Fits and wear it all again. I don't do throw away, or too trendy style so everything needs to last. Howard hooked me up. Jeans (Levis Made & Crafted), Button up (Taylor Stitch) and cardigan (Gant) in under 40 minutes, every bit of it from the sale section, and all of ti rad. I had a great time talking through options with Howard, he instantly picked up on my style preferences and fit, and went to work. I have since shopped here several times (read: a lot). Buying things both on sale and at rack rate, and every stitch of it worth whatever I paid for it. He stocks quality and sells style. You want both in your closet.

The second I walked into the shop I was a greeted by a beautiful dog, whose name and breed I did not get. They had a wide selection of apparel, and a beautifully set up store front. The woman who helped me had such an impressive knowledge of jean brands and types, and was able to find the perfect pair of jeans for me on the first try. The hemming is done on the spot for free, and they were even willing to ship the jeans out to my home in Boston. This place had the best service I've ever received at a clothing store, and I will certainly be returning here for another pair of jeans next time I'm in the market for some. I can't praise this place enough.

My whole experience at this store all happened within 45 minutes, but I can safely say that this was my top shopping experience that I've ever had at any clothing store that I've ever purchased something from. The store rep, George, was a really nice guy who helped me figure what pair of APC raw denim jeans would be right for me. He was really informative and helpful in helping me figure out what jeans would fit to my style. He finally picked a pair for me from a pile and I was pretty sold on these jeans; they fit so well and looked great on me, there was no doubt in my mind that these were the pair for me. After choosing these awesome jeans, George said to me that he could fit and hem the jeans for me for the low low price of FREE. What did he just say? I was thrilled about this except for one factor. The jeans would be ready in a week, but I live all the way in Fremont and traveling back to the store would be quite an ordeal for me. The owner overheard me saying this to the rep and walked over to me and said, "We like to take care of our customers who travel far distances so how about I hem those jeans for you today? I can do it in 15 minutes." I instantly became a strong believer that this store employs and is owned by superheroes. I paid for the APCs, left the store, and after 20 minutes I came back and the store rep hands me a store bag with the jeans wrapped up, ready to take home. I definitely recommend this store for all raw denim needs!

Denim Lovers rejoice! This is THE spot for underground brands of quality jeans. Lots, if not most of the store carries "made in USA" clothing. There was a diverse variety of raw and washed denim neatly stacked in a long island display. They do offer a fitting rooms and the ambiance was chill and friendly. The service was fun and lively (had a dog running around). The price for the most part was quite pricey, but I guess that's the price you pay for quality!

I was referred to them to get my jeans hemmed. To my surprise their price for hemming was the same as other places; however they are heavily recommended. If you buy your jeans from them, hemming is free. The hemming work is perfect, stitch and thread matches the factory stitch. Great store, courteous people.

For the fellas... Every man needs at least 1 pair of good jeans. When I say good jeans I am not talking sevens or citizens or something of the like. I am talking about some raw denim that you can wear and make yours. The gang over at AB Fits understand men very well and you just have to trust them when they say the jeans will break in. They do much quicker than you would think. When you buy a pair of jeans here you are investing in something that is going to last a lot longer than any other pair of jeans you have more than likely put on. They are also going to look better because they take their time to help you find the right pair and they are honest. They are not trying to sell you the most expensive pair they have. Trust the denim disciples dudes and let them work their magic!

I've been shopping at AB Fits for quite a few years now. I was looking through my closet the other day and this is what I found: -favorite casual dress shirt - bought at AB Fits -favorite casual dress pant - bought at AB Fits -favorite blue jeans - bought at AB Fits -favorite black jeans - bought at AB Fits -favorite good T-shirt - bought at AB Fits -favorite belt -bought at AB Fits Not only are the clothes great, the owner, Howard, is one of the sweetest guys ever, and really knows his business. If you shop there regularly, the sales are unbeatable, but sometimes you just have to have something NOW, and the quality of the merchandise is worth the price. Between Ab Fits, Barney's, Sean, and Gimme Shoes, my wardrobe is covered.

I went here today for my first time and had such a great experience! I've been to multiple denim "specialists" but have never had any luck. Howard - I believe he's the owner - helped me find a pair of selvedge jeans and also picked out a great looking flannel work-shirt and vest for me (both in colors I don't typically wear, but damn they looked good!). He was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and didn't have that condescending vibe to him that most denim shops are known for. I highly recommend A B Fits. I'll be back to pick up my jeans next week (they do their own tailoring free of charge) and will definitely be returning next month for some wardrobe additions. Thank you so much Howard! You made my day.

After finishing brunch, we strolled on Grant St and wandered into Ab Fit since we've not been. It has a cool vibe, industrial-like feel to it and nice display area. They carry women's collections of Rebecca Taylor, Tom Nguyen, Ulla Johnson, Ya-Ya, Robert Rodriguez etc. And a decent men's selections as well of Paul Smith, Rag + Bone, Velvelt, etc. They have cute jewelry too Cameron cohen, Shaesby, Jill Platner, etc. We'll come back when we have more time....

I came in with no knowledge of denim (quality or fit) and a desire to find good denim that flattered my shape. Sam was kind, patient, and clearly had an extensive knowledge of denim. She brought me multiple sizes and styles and gave me more attention than I have had in most clothing stores. While I am still torn between a mid and high waist, I will most certainly be making my purchase here. It's so refreshing to have such awesome customer service and a great product. Rock on!

Went to A B Fits to get a pair of fitted black jeans. The sales person (Sam) was great, told her what I wanted, she went to the basement and brought out a number of pairs to try while making helpful suggestions. Since I live in Palo Alto, I had them ship my pants to me. They accidentally sent me both my order and someone else's (hey, accidents happen) but the other 2 pairs I received were even better then the pants I ordered and fit me like a dream (how cool that I get to try on great stuff in the privacy of my home). I shipped those back to the store of course, but asked Sam to put the one aside for me. Hope to head into the city and pick those up this weekend. Great selection & great service. The prices are not cheap, but hey - this is boutique shop in San Francisco - what do you expect?

Best service in the city when you need help finding the right jeans for your body!

I enjoy this location far more than the Union Square one. I don't know why, must be the Fung Shui of the building or something. No, I like this location more because there is a place to actually sit down while my friend shopped. I wrote all my Christmas cards on that bench in the back, heh heh! I never find anything here except for clothing and jewelery that would happily end up on the "Stuff White People Like" list; think $40 tshirts onsale, and already-distressed jeans that have no personality (other than their super dark wash, or super light 80's wash). Sure they carry labels like Edun to make one feel better about his purchase; but if I'm going to spend $200+ on a pair of jeans, they better be STUNNING. Which most of their jeans are not. (Disclaimer: the style of jeans I like - Antik Denim, Sharagano of Paris, etc).
