Aba - Review - Wedgewood-Houston - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Nashville is the third location of this Mediterranean spot, and it’s also the biggest. Taking over a two-story space in Wedgewood-Houston with Murano glass chandeliers and mosaic tiles, Aba is doling out crispy short rib hummus, whipped feta spread, hot honey halloumi, and pork tenderloin kebabs alongside cocktails that make use of Middle Eastern spices." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

ABA is an absolutely beautiful Mediterranean-style restaurant with incredibly delicious food. Every dish we had was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. We had several guests in our group with specific allergy requirements, and the staff was very accommodating and attentive, which we truly appreciated. The space itself is stunning—warm, inviting, and perfect for a celebratory dinner. Parking was a bit challenging, but that’s an easy fix on our end; we’ll definitely just Uber next time. We were a large party of 12, seated right at 5:00 PM, with a full-course menu and added dessert. Everything was served smoothly, and we were opening gifts at the table after dessert. I completely understand the need to turn tables and keep service flowing, but we were asked to move to the bar or another area once the next party arrived for our table. Honestly, this feels like more of a management-of-expectations issue—it would be really helpful if large parties were informed of a maximum dining time at the time of booking so there are no surprises. One small food note: the salads were delicious, but the ingredients (especially the cucumbers) were cut very large and not very bite-sized. Overall, the food was outstanding, the ambiance was gorgeous, and the experience was memorable. With a little more clarity around timing for large parties, ABA would be a near-perfect dining experience. We will absolutely be back.

First, I just want to say how stunning the restaurant is!! The decor, lighting, everything! It creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the service matches it perfectly. I was blown away by how delicious the food was too! My mom and I shared the house made hummus, and it’s the best hummus I’ve ever had. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the bread was warm and pillowy. I ordered the lamb chops and truffle baked orzo, and my mom ordered the steak frites. Both were amazing dishes, and the truffle isn’t overpowering in the orzo, which was appreciated. For dessert, I tried the sticky date cake, and it was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet, and you could taste the date! We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was my birthday weekend, and I decided to try Aba, which had just opened the previous week. The quoted wait was 1.5 hours, but we were seated in about 45 minutes. We started with cocktails at the bar—“The Aloe? It’s Me.” Not only was it stunning, but it was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. Every team member we interacted with, from the moment we got out of our car—whether it was the valet, managers, bartender, or server—they all exceeded expectations: kind, helpful, attentive, and genuinely engaging. It takes a lot to wow me, but the entire experience truly wowed me. Now for the food, the Whipped Feta was outstanding. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Thighs, which were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Hazelnut Torte, a perfect finale. This is how the dining experience is supposed to be—I applaud the training and hiring team; the mission is unmistakably evident. I can't wait to return and share the experience with friends and clients! Laurie Hardman - Laurie D'Anne Events

Aba in Nashville absolutely blew us away! Not only is it incredibly vegetarian-friendly, but every dish felt thoughtful, fresh, and full of flavor. The ambiance is gorgeous—warm lighting, beautiful greenery, and that chic, upscale vibe that makes the whole experience feel special from the moment you walk in. We had the pleasure of being served by William, and truly, his attitude and attention were a 10/10. He was kind, attentive without hovering, and made sure we had everything we needed. He absolutely deserves a raise! Food-wise, the whipped feta and bread stole the show—creamy, flavorful, and honestly addicting. And do not leave without trying the lemon meringue pie. It’s genuinely to die for. Light, bright, and the perfect finish to a flawless meal. Aba has definitely become one of our new favorites. Highly, highly recommend!

Google
A Must-Visit! Incredible Food and Service at ABA I had a truly phenomenal experience at ABA. Even though I showed up without a reservation, the staff was incredibly attentive and seated me quickly. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, with a big, beautiful space that contributes to a wonderful atmosphere. The food was on another level-absolutely delicious and a standout part of the meal. What made the experience even better was the superb service. My waitress, Doina, was a gem-super friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my entire meal. In general, the entire staff was friendly and the service was fast. I highly recommend ABA for an unforgettable dining experience!

Google
Really fun place. All the food we had was good. I’d skip the kebabs next time. They were good but I’ve had better locally. Atmosphere was beautiful and it was really just a fun experience. A little overpriced like everything else for sure.

Google
This was one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve been to, ever! Service was incredible, food came out quick, love the mezze style. The brussel sprouts were 10/10! They were great at accommodating dishes to be vegan! Def be sure to make your reservation in advance, came on a Tuesday night and it was pretty booked.

ABA Nashville truly redefines Southern hospitality with a luxurious, high-end twist. From the moment I walked in—30 minutes before opening, no less—I was treated with warmth, professionalism, and care that is rarely found, even in upscale establishments. Rather than turning me away, the staff graciously welcomed me, invited me to sit at the bar, and served me drinks while I waited. That level of accommodation immediately set the tone for what would be an exceptional experience. The customer service here is second to none. Every detail is thoughtfully considered ,right down to offering blankets for added comfort, a small touch that speaks volumes about how much they prioritise their guests' needs. Whether it was a question, a request, or simply a refill, the staff was attentive without ever being intrusive. The ambiance is refined and elegant, and the food and drinks are nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is crafted with care, and the cocktails are as sophisticated as they are flavorful. It's clear that ABA holds itself to the highest standards, and it shows in every corner of the restaurant. From the décor to the menu to the remarkable team running it. If you're looking for a truly elevated dining experience where luxury meets genuine hospitality, ABA Nashville is the place to be.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday. Aba has also been on my list since I saw they opened. The restaurant is beautiful decorated but inside the restaurant and outside. You can get some amazing photos. I was a bit disappointed in the crispy potatoes. I love greek potatoes but some of the bites were a bit hard. The whipped feta was so delicious. We also ordered chicken kebab but our waiter brought us lamb instead, there was a mix up so they let us keep the lamb and they brought out the chicken we ordered. I will say, they were both delicious. The drink were really good as well. My mom had a zero proof cocktail that she enjoyed, I had the Thirst Trap, which is a delicious frozen drink, and my sister had a glass of rosé. Our waiter was soo nice. The restaurant hadnt been open for very long when we came here and overall we had a great experience. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Once construction is complete over there, things will be even better in that area. They offer valet for $12 and there's also some street parking available as well (limited). I will definitely be back. Absolutely loved my experience here.

Yelp
I've been to Aba a few times now. I've drafted this review like it was my thesis. I went through denial, bargaining, acceptance, and maybe a mild identity crisis. But we have reached the verdict. THE DECOR/VIBE: Immaculate doesn't even cover it. This place looks like Switzerland and Monaco got together on a wellness retreat, fell in love, and hired a designer baby to build their dream home. Whoever designed Aba should be SO proud they should walk around with a trophy. I've seen places like this, but rarely in America, and never on a Tuesday. THE FOOD: Now this, this is where the plot twists!!!!!! An absolute disgrace. The crispy potatoes? Emotional damage! The grilled chicken? Witness protection levels of bland!! The shawarma? I've seen stronger personalities in unsalted popcorn!!! The lamb kebab? Bold of it to exist!!!!! This is a "Middle Eastern" restaurant in the same way that I'm "six foot seven" if I stretch in the morning and lie aggressively. I say this as a genuine Middle Easterner: This food tasted like someone watched ONE TikTok about hummus and said, "Yeah, I got this." (I actually never had TikTok and refuse to download it) It's giving drunk bar food that accidentally wandered into a luxury restaurant and started charging $29 for vibes. I even asked the chef about a sauce on the menu, he stared at me like I asked him to explain quantum entanglement or superposition is. Turns out it was an Indian sauce, spelled wrong. Poetic!!! SERVICE: The staff is super sweet! But they vanish. Like... they bring you water, then go on a side quest. I respect it.

Yelp
Went to Aba on a Monday night with a group of 8 people total. I have been to the location in Chicago, and so I had a bit of an expectation (high), but know that sometimes new locations can have a learning curve. First, we utilized the valet. That was easy-peasy! I can't remember the cost, but I think it is $12, which honestly in that neighborhood is worth it. Parking can be tough in WeHo. The space and vibes are beautiful. The greenery and lighting is just beautiful. It is aligned with their Chicago location. Service - wonderful. We had someone in our party with several allergies and they came out and explained that they were taking extra precautions. All of our food came out pretty quickly and our server, for the most part, was attentive. The food: mostly great. Get the hot honey halloumi! Oh my gosh. So freaking good. Falafel and potatoes, okay. Whipped feta, delish. Hummus, superb. Several entrees were very, very salty. I had the short rib and ended up just not even eating most of it because it was too salty. I tried to offset it with the polenta and just gave up. A couple of other people in the party said their entrees were also really salty (chicken thighs and fish). Overall, I will try it again, but give them a bit more time to work out some more kinks.

Yelp
Aba Nashville (435 Houston St) We went in with high expectations since we've loved Aba in Austin, but the Nashville location didn't feel up to the same standard--both in service and food quality. The Old Fashioned cocktail was decent. The falafel was fresh, flavorful, and easily my favorite dish of the evening. The classic hummus was average; the pita in particular was thick and underwhelming. The grilled cauliflower lacked seasoning and felt bland, while the beet dish was overly charred and not enjoyable. For dessert, the date cake was the highlight--moist, well-balanced, and genuinely good. Overall, it was a decent one-time experience, but for a higher-end restaurant, there's room to improve--especially in customer service attentiveness, speed, and consistency in food quality and flavor.

Yelp
We scored a last minute res at Aba for some preshow dining. Been wanting to try it for a while but it's a very hard to get reservation. They offer restaurant dedicated valet, which in the very crowded WeHo neighborhood is a plus. The place is visually stunning. It's truly a delight for the eyes. Beware, it appears that the bathrooms are on the second floor of a very long flight of stairs. The entrance also seems to require a number of stairs. These could be problems for the mobility impaired. Our server indicated that we should order three dishes each. However, the kebab dishes are full entrée sized, and so we over ordered a bit and next time we'll know better. We started with the crispy, short rib hummus. It was a little thicker and finer than traditional hummus, but the crispy short rib topping was 100%. The house made pita was a little more like Manoush, but it was delicious. We also ordered the salmon tart and the whipped feta. The salmon was phenomenal, but the whipped feta was a little salty and it cried out for a little something sweet to cut the saltiness. Next time we'd skip it. We had the chicken and the beef and lamb kofta kebabs, both served with basmati rice and a delightful lemon olive oil dressing. Someone in the back clearly knows how to operate a grille. The chicken was wonderfully chard, but very juicy and tender. The coughs were well spiced, and I went off the menu and grabbed some of the house made bread and made little baby wraps out of each kofta. Yum! We were too full for dessert. Our seats were outside on a chilly evening, but they had plenty of space heaters, and even offered individual blankets at each table if you needed them. Service was cheery; a little overly familiar perhaps, but that's better than the alternative. Total for the five courses for two people was $140 with tip, plus $12 for valet parking plus a five dollar tip.

Yelp
I have been looking forward to going to this restaurant for weeks. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. It feels like a forest with all of the greenery everywhere. I utilized the valet because parking in the area is a nightmare. Honestly the food was pretty good. It feels much more like a lunch spot than a dinner location. More like tapas for lunch time. Everything was light and refreshing. I really enjoyed the Shawarma-Spiced Prime Skirt Steak Frites. The Lemon Meringue Bar was nice but was shocked that the bottom half of the dessert was frozen hard. I also tasted my friend's cauliflower dish and it was yummy! The staff were plenty and very helpful and engaging. I think the food is a bit overpriced, but it is the perfect place to grab drinks and small bites with friends after work.

Yelp
Wow wow wow. Walking in the decorations are insanely gorgeous. Extremely high ceilings so many lights plants even Christmas trees decorated hanging from the tree. Our service was impeccable really a knowledgeable server and fun as well. The food was superb. I loved the sweet potato hummus, the chicken thighs, the salmon kebabs. Even the bread was delicious. They do valet parking for a charge which you can pay before you leave the restaurant. Will love to return on a warmer day to be able to sit outside.

Yelp
So so so worth the hype. If you like rich, flavorful, and decadent food, Aba is your place. The scallops changed my life. I'll be going back for those. The steak is perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's a must have. I also recommend the banana pudding cake, it's literally shaped like a banana, with a firm shell and banana pudding filling. Delicious! All the plates are shareable so you can go with a group and order tons of entrees to try out. They bring out your items as they're ready. It felt like eating non-stop in the best way.

Yelp
Beautiful aesthetic, love all the changeliers and hanging christmas trees the lighting is great and the sunroof is super nice during rhe day adding a nice brightness to the space. Our server Julia was great and was spot on about all of the dishes we asked her about. We started with whipped feta and shortrib hummus, that house bread is SO GOOD! Best Brussels ive ever had, truffle orzo and the hot honey halumi was to die for- the hot honey is good enough to drink and had a great truffle finish. The branzino was light, fresh and flavorful . I can wait to come back for the lamb chops! Also, great wine selection! I enjoyed a Sancere with my fish and had a delightful cocktail with apps. The bathroom was even beautiful. Make sure you check aba out, you will not regret it!!!!

Yelp
I'm sad and disappointed to have to leave a 3 star review. My husband and I visited the ABA location in Chicago a year ago and still dream about the food there. I was super excited to see there was an Aba in Nashville and booked a reservation immediately. I had been looking forward to it for days and also to surprising my husband as part of our trip. One of the dishes we loved the most from Chicago was the crispy short rib hummus. So of course we ordered that again. The taste was not the same as I remembered, but I didn't say anything. Then my husband chimed in and said "this isn't as good as I remember". Unfortunately, same for me. The crispy chicken thigh was the best dish we ordered. The shawarma-spiced skirt steak frites was extremely salty and almost not edible. It also was very rare on one end of the steak and then cooked medium on the other end. The service needs a fine tuning. The host had us follow him and didn't smile or greet us until we walked the entire restaurant to our table. It would have been better to have a friendly greeting as soon as we walked in. We had two servers (one in training) who were friendly. They asked about allergies and I reported gluten and dairy and they said they would make note of that and then walked away. Their menu isn't labeled with what is gluten or dairy free and there was no explanation given as to what we could order. Thankfully gluten free is labeled online so I pulled the menu up from my phone for guidance. When we put our order in there was no reassurance that those dishes would also be dairy free- I had to double check. The decor and ambiance are very nice although we thought it was an odd location for an upscale restaurant. This restaurant needs to learn from their Chicago location and hopefully make some adjustments.

Yelp
Came here to for a late Halloween dinner with my wife & fellow Elites/besties Amanda M & TJ M. Had a 9:45 seating & the place was packed but there was no wait & we were sat a few minutes early in a spacious leather booth on the back wall facing inward towards the beautifully designed & decorated main dining area. We ordered a TON of food. My wife & I ordered 7 dishes & our friends about the same & we all tried each others, but we didn't need this much it just all sounded so good & we had waited all day to eat a late dinner so we over ordered for sure. That being said, everything was good & worth trying of the times I ordered my two favorites were the stracciatella & the crispy chicken thighs. The dessert the banana pudding cake is worth the $20 for the presentation alone, but the taste is great as well. Service was excellent & all the aesthetic is amazing here. Great spot for a nice dinner or hang with friends.

Yelp
Location - 5 STARS Not too familiar with Nashville. It's my third time in the city. This area was really cute. Narrow streets. All the buildings looked new. There was valet parking and also self parking options. AMBIANCE - 5 STARS Absolutely amazing vibes in there. So much greenery. They had Christmas trees hanging from the ceiling. The decor was great. Dim lightning and music was at a great level. SERVICE - 5 STARS Our waiter was so great. Very attentive and super friendly. FOOD - 5 STARS Everything we tried was amazing. We tried a bit of everything. Black garlic Hummus - actual pieces of roasted black garlic in the middle. Served with a side of pita. Roasted eggplant dip - delicious Orzo - one of my faves of the night. The orzo was cooked perfectly. Wasn't too soft or hard. Very impressed with the depths of flavor Chicken thighs - best chicken thighs I've ever had. The roasted peppers they came with were sweet and delicious Cauliflower kebab - another fave. I wasn't expecting to like this so much. Especially just by looking at it. Its visual appearance was lacking but the layers of flavor were there. Perfectly seasoned and at the end you get a hint of lemon. Scallops - not my fave but I can appreciate a well cooked scallop Overall this place was great. Not a single bad thing to say. Lots of choices for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free people

Yelp
Heard about this Mediterranean spot and just had to try it. Their website says "Mediterranean restaurant with California influence." I think it should be the other way around .. "California cuisine with Mediterranean influence." The food was delicious, meats tender, but after tasting other authentic Mediterranean foods I would not call this Mediterranean at all. There are lots of great dishes we tried, including the sweet potato hummus (my fave!) and the crispy chicken, which would've paired well with rice. Small plates so me and my date were able to share everything. The naan served with the hummus was fantastic. We had to get the nuts on the side since my date is allergic. The pork was very tender and delicious, but the sauce paired with the pork was too sweet, and then paired with the sweet apples made it overwhelming. They may need something spicy or bitter to tone down the sweetness. The lamb chops were gone quickly, which is a great thing; however, they didn't have as many flavors as I expected. Loved the Brussels sprouts, but again, very sweet from the honey. The date cake was yummy, you can taste the bourbon with the sweet caramel. The frozen yogurt reminded me of Pinkberry, which is a fave of mine. The melon & granita was interesting. Flavored crunchy snow with jalapeno, cucumbers and melon. Very different. The waitress was very nice and attentive and all the staff were knowledgeable & helpful.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this place - it was at the top of my "must visit" restaurants - and was so disappointed. It's trendy, with loud music. I was the most impressed with the bathroom - clean, modern, and even had Le Labo Rose31 lotion! Food was very mediocre and disappointing. Brussel sprouts were soggy and dry, and so was the whipped feta. The short ribs were the best dish we had, but it's not saying much. Service was non attentive and slow and not fitting for an upscale restaurant. The cocktails (especially the passionfruit gin and tonic) were delicious and my favorite thing on the menu.
google avatar

Connor S.

Yelp
Staff was very welcoming and helpful in exploring the menu and drinks. We sat at the bar as we didn't have a reservation and the atmosphere was full of greenery and life. Short rib hummus is a must order. Delicate and delightful. The kabobs were delicious but the rice was drenched in lemon making it unbearably tangy. Great experience.
google avatar

Daniel S.

Yelp
Salmon kebabs perfectly cooked an wood grilled lots of flavor. Rice great and buttery lemony. The shrimp was amazing. Came in stone escargot bowl and you had to spoon them out one at a time with the zesty crunchy bread crumb on top. Short rib hummus was fantastic. The short rib was tender and crispy and good. Tuna watermelon super fresh and great flavors as well loved the crispy watermelon mint combo. Wish there was more tuna. But very appealing visually. Ambiance 10/10, instantly one of the best restaurants in the city.

Yelp
We were very happy to hear the beloved ABA of Chicago and Austin was opening up in the heart of WEHO. We made a reservation in advance and were seated at a wonderful booth. The views are stunning in here, unlike any other restaurants in Nashville. You can find parking around the area. We had a wonderful server who helped my boyfriend navigate his allergies. Gluten Free friends there are PLENTY of options for you here! I highly recommend getting the whipped feta, Lamb & Beef Kefta, and Greek village salad for some freshness. I was not impressed with the potatoes or Mule. It felt like both lacked flavor, but I believe the restaurant is still working through its opening phase! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend ABA to any of my Nashville neighbors looking for a fun night out!

Yoo Jin H.

Yelp
I tried several dishes here and was impressed. The Truffled Salmon was flavorful. I am a big fan of raw salmon, and the contrast with the uniquely textured fried leeks made the dish stand out even more. The Whipped Feta was a favorite. The house bread that came with it was so good we actually asked for seconds. The feta itself was perfectly balanced with crushed pistachios and a hint of lemon zest, giving it just the right amount of tanginess. The Slow Braised Beef Short Rib was tender, and the vegetables added a new layer of flavor. And the Crispy Chicken Thighs lived up to their name, very crispy. Although our server was occasionally away for a while speaking with another table, the service was generally attentive. The restaurant's ambiance, with its hanging plants and beautiful lights, is truly unmatched.

Yelp
Amazing decor, reminds me of RH vibe with an outdoor patio feel. We didn't make reservations so ended up sitting at the bar. The service was a top notch and the drinks were amazing, the espresso martini did not disappoint since they don't use Kahlua but real espresso instead. Unfortunately the upstairs was closed due to a private event. My favorite dish was the Sharma-Spiced Skirt Steak and the Whipped Feta. The naan bread was so fresh and tasteful, they added additional seasoning on top. We shared all the dishes, including the short ribs and brussel sprouts. If you are wanting to come here since its a new spot, be sure to make reservations. Valet parking is available and cost the same as the parking lot close by. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed.

Yelp
This place just opened and so glad we got a chance to check it out. There weren't any reservations available but we came and was able to get seated outside right away They offer valet for $12 and there's also a few street parking options if you have the patience The atmosphere is so nice. The decor and indoor/outdoor feel was a vibe...but the food We ordered a lot: the truffle salmon, falafel, whipped feta, skirt steak and the chicken skewers. The truffle salmon, whipped feta and chicken skewers were my favorite. The feta and pita was something i could've snacked on all night. The truffle salmon was packed with so much flavor it makes you sad that it's only a small portion and then the chicken skewers with cilantro rice was a hit! The skirt steak was good but the fries it came with were a hit at the table. The bar was a little slow on the drinks so the owner offered us a dessert on the house. We opted for the banana pudding and we were quite confused once we got it. It wasn't bad but definitely not what we expected This spot is nice and perfect for an outing with friends or a date night option. I'll definitely be back especially to enjoy the patio while the weather is favorable.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner at Aba in Nashville! I ordered the steak frites, whipped feta with naan bread, and the aloe cocktail -- everything was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, the whipped feta was light and creamy, and the naan was warm and fluffy. The cocktail was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, lively, and so unique for Nashville! The service was great from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in Nashville! I will say the parking was a little tricky and I do wish they'd validate for parking! I need to try dessert next time.

Yelp
I booked an early reservation on a Wednesday which is sort of my go to day of the week to explore the city. The pics on social media were very convincing so I thought I'd give this gorgeous spot a try. We got there right at opening which is another I like to do because I think the service is always a true reflection of the restaurant. Aba became a hot spot fast and the reviews were mixed I think in part because of how busy the restaurant was at the time they dined. I wanted to give it a fair shot without the rush and that paid off well for us. Our server was AMAZING and did a great job walking through the menu. After a little discussion we decided to go with all his recommendations. The Crispy Short Rib Hummus, Granita, Brussels Sprouts, Green Chili Shrimp with garlic, parmesan, calabrian chili breadcrumb and the Banana Pudding Cake. All were amazing! If you're looking for a Mediterranean restaurant that's warm and inviting in a beautiful setting with attentive staff and great food. Look no further than Aba. Valet parking is available and located on the side of the building. Overall a great experience, worth the visit and I'll be back for sure.,

Yelp
Absolutely loved Aba! Only downfall is the limited parking! Food and service was amazing! Excited to go back!

Yelp
Aba did not disappoint. Service was excellent, and the food was even better. We tried the whipped feta, the crispy short rib hummus (my fav), crispy chicken thighs, char-grilled lamb chops, green falafel, beef tenderloin kebab, and the sticky date cake. Great for a small group (3-4 people), or a date night. I definitely want to come back and enjoy the bar area. Beautiful glass chandeliers were stunning and visually pleasing. Great ambiance and music- it definitely has a "California" vibe. Very high end experience.

Yelp
I came here and ordered the steak frites -- the skirt steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare and tasted incredible. The fries were okay, not that hot when they came out, but still had good flavor. Service overall was good, though my cocktail (the passion fruit gin and tonic) took a while to come out. It was decent but nothing amazing -- probably wouldn't order it again.

Yelp
This is the Resturant Nashville NEEDED! We have a great food scene but there was always a hole missing in the Mediterranean cuisine. Aba not only delivers, it was one of the best experiences I've had here over the past 5 years. The place is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and the people there are so welcoming! The food, let's get into it...you like hummus, they have 5 of em...and they are all incredible! You then go down the road of countless shareable items that are equally delicious. I had the salmon skewers and the Greek skirt steak frites that was so unique, I'm still thinking about it! I cannot wait to go back and try more entrees so let's get to dessert...olive oil ice cream? Yep! And it was unreal! Safe to say this is a high recommendation and I'll be going bac

Yelp
Walking in felt like the Rainforest Cafe. Kept waiting for the thunderstorm! Pros: Food was solid but not great Server was great at getting drinks going in the beginning. Cons: Seated 15 mins after reservation. Requested a booth but seated at a table. Booth near us was empty for most of meal until a couple was seated with the male that had a man bun. All the servers knew him. Assuming the booth was saved for co-worker. He kept looking over to our table which was weird. Server was in a hurry to to take food order. Promised to space out food. It all came at once. Once food arrived, she disappeared. Overall, I want to try again but disappointed first time experience.

The food and drinks were amazing and the restaurant had an awesome vibe. We also got great service and recommendations from our server Annalise

Yelp
Had a great night at Aba! The inside is absolutely stunning. We we sat on the covered porch with heaters and that was nice too. Parking is atrocious in that area so we paid the $12 + tip to valet. We started with drinks, I got the Per My Email and my partner got the one with aloe. They were not very good, 3/5. When I return I'll probably skip the cocktails at this restaurant. FOOD! Everything was delicious. Our standouts were the whipped feta, pork belly, and the crispy chicken thighs. For dessert we had the sticky date cake and the banana pudding. I was excited for the date cake because I had one in Chicago and was obsessed, but it didn't live up to the hype unfortunately, but if you've haven't had a date cake before I'm sure you'd enjoy it. The presentation of the banana pudding was super fun, it comes shaped as a banana. Next time I will try the Greek frozen yogurt and skip those two desserts. Overall it was a fantastic dinner and I will definitely go back!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Tapas style food. Service could use some work, but it's a new place so it'll become more established. High hopes for this one!

Yelp
The atmosphere and service are EXCELLENT. Staff are so lovely, and the space is breathtaking. The food and drinks however....incredibly underwhelming for the HIGH price point. I've had wayyy better Mediterranean fusion food in Nashville for over half the price. I've never sent a drink back in my life, but I had to send my Mezcal cocktail back because I genuinely found it undrinkable. My friend got the Passion Fruit G&T which was fine. For $17, we expected to be wowed. Unfortunately, not a single thing felt worth what we payed for it. This place is purely aesthetic and very little substance. We sadly will not be returning.

Yelp
Dare I say... this might just be our new favorite restaurant in Nash. Food, ambience, service were all spectacular. My fiancé and I got engaged recently and the staff surprised us with champagne which was very sweet! Thanks for the best date night, Aba

Yelp
My new favorite restaurant in Nashville. I've been twice in a week and have made my reservations ahead of time for the future! Each dish is so flavorful. I would get the smoky garlic hummus, whipped feta, any of the kebabs, green chili shrimp, and orzo! The atmosphere, music, and staff were all amazing and I always have my notifications set for a table !!

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The chicken thighs, truffle salmon, hot honey halloumi especially! Thank you Jay and Amanda for everything!! The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and everyone was so kind!

Yelp
Had five dishes. 2 of them were crazily over seasoned. All we could taste was salt on those two. The other three were amazing. Good service.

Yelp
Overall experience was off. I would recommend a reservation... a few friends and I walked in and we had to wait for over an hour, accompanied by cliquey hostess staff. They did not seem too enthusiastic about walk in but we did not realize it would be so busy on a Tuesday. I would suppose this was the catalyst for a unwelcoming evening.... Upon being notified of the wait, we were happy to oblige and therefore persuaded to get drinks while waiting on our table. Upon approaching the bar, several times, we were noticeably ignored? Inherently, we had to grab the staff to awkwardly come over and ask the bartender to serve us.. as it was his suggestion in the first place. In addition, our friend forgot her ID and was denied a drink. Although no fault of the restaurants, it was almost as if we were wrote off more at that point... as our friend accepted her fate and the night continued to sour. It seemed as if we were treated like the unideal clientele for the restaurant... a group of woman in their mid to late twenties or in their eyes a trio of teenagers? Once settled in with drinks by the wait areas by the front, we noticed tables were opening and it was nearing an hour and half wait. We followed up and at that point we were offered a table. Once seated, five minutes went by and we had not even looked over the menu and suddenly, the staff from earlier approach us to pay our drink bills. He urged us to pay immediately and then hovered until we put our cards down. This experience was quite invasive as at this point, as all we wanted to do was dine. It also embarrassed us because at no point did they say they couldn't add our prior drinks to the meal. It also posed a spectacle to neighboring tables. From there I think the staff could tell we were irritated and outright offended by how chaotic the experience has bee, so he kept checking in several times that night to try to remedy the situation. Upon attempting to leave for the evening, my friend realized she left her keys in the chair up front. She was looking frantically for her keys and the hostess stand was quite observant. After looking in the wait chair earlier she walked up to the stand and out right asked if they have seen the keys. They replied they had them but I assumed the scene amused them? Quite odd to watch a struggle occur but not say a thing. To summarize, if you want a restaurant that is overpriced, has subpar food and is equipped with cliquey staff. This is the place for you! Maybe if you make a reservation on a Tuesday, you won't suffer the same fate. Best of luck.
