"A unique restaurant occupying six small market stalls. You’ll need to book ahead as the restaurant only has a single large table where the focus is on traditional and regionally inspired “raciones”." - Michelin Inspector

Recommended! Ate there twice & it was consistent. Leave it to the chef & you’ll have your “surprise me” moment. He Served his daily catch, prepared simple but flavorful. Service was prompt & cheerful. You gotta have dessert! Eat indoor or outdoor, where you can also enjoy people watching. Price was reasonable.

There are so many good restaurants in Santiago that it’s difficult to know where to go. We chose this one for lunch and weren’t disappointed. The fish is so fresh , straight from the market. We had razor clams and salmonetes…..truly first class. Excellent service and all in, a very reasonable price. This is a quality restaurant.

Wonderful restaurant with a brilliant market to table concept. We booked 'barras', which is a shared table for 12 people and opted for the 'decide for us' service - dishes are charged individually and worked out to be around €60 each (not including wine) which is great value for money. There was a clear explanation of each dish and we had the option to change dishes if there was something that we didn't like or preferred. Overall - very fresh seafood, the simplicity in the cooking helped drive home the natural freshness and sweetness of the seafood. It was a great opportunity to try so many different things that we may not have ordered otherwise. P.S. Their house Albarino is outstanding.

Absolutely delicious!! We went there to celebrate our Camiño route and it was amazing. We took a tasting menu of the day. The staff was super helpful and nice. Wine was also good!

We came for dinner and had the €30 set menu which consisted of bread, 4 snacks, a main dish (fish) and dessert. We liked the variety of the dishes and they were all delicious. The inside of the restaurant was polished and had an elevated atmosphere. The service was good too.

Our quest for a light dinner in Santiago de Compostela took a delicious turn at Abastos 2.0. Following our travel agency's tip, we ended up happily ordering more thanks to the friendly and patient staff. The oysters were impeccably fresh, the razor clams cooked to juicy perfection, and the char-grilled octopus was simply divine. But the undisputed champion of the night was their signature empanada - a delightful fusion of tradition and innovation. Imagine a crispy shell cradling a savory filling of white fish, a truly unforgettable twist on a classic dish. Abastos 2.0 gets our high recommendation!

We decided on a bar hop starting with seafood at Abastos. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and professional. We had clams and cockles, both very fresh and perfectly cooked. We were just missing a bit of creativity, maybe some acidity, spice, or an herb to make it pop? The star of the night was the quick-cured mackerel.

We were sitting outside for some glasses of wine during the rainy weather. We ordered two types of oysters and the tacos. Wine was lovely. The oysters were okay, I have had better. I understand it is not typical to have vinaigrette or any other extras with oysters in Galicia but would have helped here. The tacos were superb. 5 euro for both was great. We went on a whim for some snacks with our wine and the tacos were worth it. Others not so much. The service was quite pushy. Had just been served our wines and asked twice if we were going to order food or not. (We hadn't had the chance to look at the online menu that quickly) not the most warming, I imagine they were a bit busy also but perhaps it is different when dining for full meal inside.
