"Faux flowers get a bad rep, but in the hands of designer Abigail Ahern they can add mood, beauty, and texture to a room. She first started her pro-faux crusade at her Islington shop, and it quickly caught on to the point that Heal's, the home emporium, has given Abigail a stand-alone "florist" shop. You'll find endless fake varieties—from ferns to hydrangeas, to ridiculously cute moss dog sculptures—another quirky Ahern signature. "

Bought two mushroom portable lamps in orange/pink and green. So beautiful. Solid, heavy glass. Gorgeous colours. They throw out a beautiful light. I love that they are portable. I am totally happy with these and look forward to more designs going forward. Pink and orange is a great combination!

I have been reading the ‘negative reviews’ and I I completely disagree! I’m a multi award winning business owner in Australia. I must say that AA staff customer service is excellent. They reply professionally to every review with honesty and integrity. I personally have bought several beautiful items from AA online and they have arrived in Australia within 3 to 4 days and I live 3 hours from a major city.! It takes 2 weeks for an item to arrive to my house if I order it from Melbourne. The quality is very good and the pieces are so beautiful. I can’t help but think that the people complaining are simply being ‘wingeing poms’. Before you decide to be a keyboard warrior and destroy an excellent business reputation, may I suggest you call the store first and let them know what your issue is. Giving a good business a bad review can be so unfair and soul destroying for the owner and hard working staff. At least give them a chance to address the issue first before bagging the crap out of them!

Not a great experience and would give zero stars if that was an option. Purchased a rechargeable touch lamp that arrived in a box that clearly had been opened before and I assumed returned as came with no instructions nor a charger. Using a good charger that I already owned, I charged the lamp overnight and the next day set about using. I didn’t function as the touch lamp but did work from the button to the base but only for about half an hour. I wrote to customer services to tell them and then simply asked how long I had charged it for with no acknowledgement that I had likely be sent a returned faulty lamp. Not trusting I’d get a decent replacement or a better quality lamp not as flimsily made, I returned it. There has been no reply to my emails for two weeks and the tracking showed it was delivered one week ago. I’ve requested a refund for the money I’ve spent on the lamp including delivery to me and to return given I’m not at fault here. It would seem a small thing for good customer service as the sake I entered into has not been honoured ?? But sadly no-one is bothering to reply !!! Avoid !!

At the Islington Branch, from start to finish, Cathy's customer service was outstanding. From product knowledge and understanding to negotiating tricky parts with delivery! I absolutely love my new armchair. Brilliant job, thanks so much to Cathy and the team!

Absolutely awful experience. I bought a coffee table with a marble top. The marble is damaged and the damage has clearly been very badly repaired leaving the marble top marked, bumpy and ugly. I’ve been trying to contact their customer service team via email or telephone to no avail - no response to emails and telephone just rings out. If there was a zero star, that’s what I would give. Do not make the same mistake - avoid this retailer at all costs.

We visited on a busy day for the shop. Summer stock was leaving and the new fall stock had just arrived. Even though it was all hands on deck the lovely lady with cutest blonde curls couldn’t have been more helpful and happy to discuss paint colours, botanicals, vases and even recommendations for food. So happy with my purchases although there was so much more I wanted to take back to my home. Till next time xxx

Yelp
When I walked in, I was so excited to be here and did not realize that I had to close the door shut behind me. I was reminded by the female staff member to do so. That was the only time either one of the two staff members said anything to us. We are a fan of Abigail Ahern. She needs to have better more customer oriented employees. I wanted to buy something to take home to the states. As I walked around the store, I realized I didn't want anything that reminded me of this place and the terrible staff.

Yelp
I want to like the shop as much as I like the designer style, vibe and energy, but after several visits, and the same execrable customer service from person at the till each time I visited over a span of 2 years, I have finally accepted that this shop wasn't worth the time and bus journey. I heard they opened a pop up between Habitat and Heals on Tottenham Court Road, maybe this will be better. The shop is small, and have only few objects, a limited selection of artificial flowers, and paint by AH. It really is the quality of the service which ruins the experience though. No salutations or acknowledgement you enter the store, the two employees on my last visit 2 days ago, continued their conversation for a long time, without paying attention to my friend who was trying to politely get their attention because she had something to ask. When they finally did, the lady tones was just too snobby or bored. As I said execrable. Buy Abigail's last book, so inspiring, subscribe to her blogs, choose some of her deep and rich colours for paint, but don't go to the shop.

Yelp
I visited the store's new location a few weeks ago and was very pleased with the service I received in putting together a gorgeous artificial bouquet (the faux flowers that Abigail Ahern is known for). The sales assistant greeted me, was helpful, cheery, and very knowledgeable in helping me select an arrangement for my home. There was another assistant present however, who had been near the door when I walked in and didn't greet me but looked up without saying anything, which didn't really put me off as I was heading toward the till to pick something an online order anyway, but it would have bothered me if I was a customer coming in to browse. I'd definitely go back to browse the collection again and to take advantage of the amazing sale prices at the end of each season! The store is beautiful and chock-full of beautiful interiors inspiration.

Yelp
Review re Tottenham Court Road Store I scoured the Abigail Ahern website for details on her Faux Botanicals. Unable to locate what was after I phoned the Tottenham Court Store for more specific details. The sales associate's tone was clear answering a phone enquiry was beneath her as she told me 'look at their website.' I was after succulents to which she replied 'we have loads in store and online' When I replied I could only see the Lotus Plant she replied 'Oh that's right, then that's all we have.' Then promptly hung up!! She was completely rude and dismissive. It would pay these so called sales assistants/associates to remember they are not actually Abigail Ahern, they are there to advise and most importantly - Sell. I was planning on buying 15x Echeveria style succulents and 2x large plants, but her self important, bored manner has completely put me off. I notice from other reviews this is not an isolated incident.
