"This long-established inn stands by a bridge spanning the gorge – the Chéran River flows a few hundred metres below! A native of the area, the chef likes to work with regional ingredients he sources from local producers. Even amateur mushroom foragers are welcome to offer up their pick of the day. His squash risotto, fricassee of shiitake, polypore and oyster mushrooms is a prime example of his culinary style, which is geared toward plants and vegetables and the interplay of textures. What an incredible restaurant in a stunning location, we visited on Sunday evening for our anniversary, we let them know we are vegetarian and the incredible 7 course meal was out of this world, the best meal ever, the service was friendly and efficient and we were made to feel like honoured guests, how has this chef not earned a Michelin star yet, if you are anywhere nearby do not miss visiting.

Wow…Just wow! I was visiting family in Annecy from London and had heard of this beautiful restaurant in Gruffy and its marvelous food. There was an exquisite 5-course meal which explored unique tastes and opened my taste pallet to new experiences. To top the food, service was great and the view was heavenly, with a clean and comfortable room to sleep in. Really hope to come again soon and recommend it before it blows up and the reservation waiting period becomes inevitably longer. Anyway thanks a lot to the chef and the rest of the staff for this wonderful experience.

What a delightful and wholesome culinary experience ! The food is exquisite and tastefully prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The vegetarian dishes are amazingly tasty (which is rare in this region) and the wine selection helps you discover some hidden gems. Bravo to the Chef and his staff for making our experience truly unique. This cosy restaurant is nested by a cliff with breathtaking view over the river and the valley. 5 stars !

Breath taking views from our room. Everyone was super friendly, starting from the hotel's dog Yuki who came to greet us as soon as we parked. The restaurant was amazing to say the least. Incredible 5 course dinner with surprising dishes. Very well-served portions, you won't be leaving hungry.

This place is a hidden gem worth visiting as soon as possible before it blows and you will have to wait for reservation for months for table/room (trust me it will happen soon). Stunning views from the terrace and rooms but even though it will take your breath, it’s nothing comparing to the food. We had a 5-course dinner menu and we need to admit that it was one of the best things we ate in a long long time, so modern and fresh with respect of local and seasonal products. I was also pregnant and hate goat cheese and menu was adapted 100% for that. Maxime and his crew are true magicians and we will be back soon! 🏆

Maxime & Chloe, you're both wonderful hosts and you took the effort to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed for the 3 nights stay. The dinner was so good that we had it for 2 consecutive nights. This is just the perfect place to take a deep breath in quiet reflection. Came to Annecy for holiday and had the pleasure of eating at this stunning restaurant for lunch. The scenery is breath-taking, ambience is amazing, and food is phenomenal. Felt like eating in one of the top restaurants in the world. Highly reccomend that anyone coming to the region to eat here!
