Abirami Krishna MD

Went in for first appointment. Within 10 minutes I knew I wouldn’t be back. Dr. Krishna was devoid of empathy, and judgmental of many situations I described. Never felt so uncomfortable with a psychiatrist. I would be explaining something and she’d say we’d get back to it, oftentimes talking over me to get me to stop. Felt as though she was speaking down to me throughout the conversation. I might not be a psychiatrist, but I do my research on the medications I take, and I felt like my questions were reasonable. Felt incredibly uncomfortable during the initial assessment and terminated all future care with her.

Dr. Krishna has been a true blessing to me and my family. She has worked with my grandson on mental health issues and has always shown sincere interest in him. She is always available to talk with him and me as his power of attorney. Dr. Krishna is second to none compared to other providers that worked with my grandson. Her assistant is also excellent and demonstrates professionalism and urgency in her response time. I highly recommend Dr. Krishna to anyone who needs a sincere and caring psychiatrist. I know that my grandson would not be where he is today without her guidance and support.

Dr Krishna's approach seemed to rely on generalized treatment plans rather than considering my individual circumstances. She recommended treatments that didn’t make sense for my situation and struggled to answer most of my questions and had to call me back later that day with the answers. I left feeling like I wasted my time and wouldn’t return.

Dr. Krishna is a great psychiatrist. She really cares about me as a person and wants to work as a collective to better my mental health.
