Yelp
Used to come here every two to two and a half weeks when they reopened with COVID guidelines in place.
They initially followed precautions pretty well--sitting customers at least 1 chair apart because there are no partitions between customers (only between nail tech and client), using the IR thermometers on every client upon entry, always washing their hands. However, I noticed more recently they've neglected temperature checks for some customers, using the infrared thermometers inappropriately by grabbing the customer's wrist and placing it directly on the skin, not washing hands between customers, and sitting walk-in customers right next to others instead of asking them to return at little later when the salon wasn't as busy/packed.
Unfortunately the quality of the services declined with each visit too. I would clearly communicate to avoid this as much as possible but they kept over-buffing the surface of my nails till they became very weak and thin, my cuticles were trimmed so much they'd bleed, and my nails were often filed unevenly. Not sure if they were intentionally ignoring me or didn't comprehend when I'd point this out. I did give them the benefit of the doubt and always tipped fairly well and paid in cash so I would hope it's the latter.
On a positive note, I appreciated that they consistently use new sterilized tools and a pedicure tub liner for each customer. But because nothing's improved with the service quality in addition to the lack of enforcing COVID precautions, I've left disappointed too many times and decided not to come back. Their prices are comparable to other local salons that I've tried and had better results and experiences with.
