The food was good. I really liked the ceviche. The beet salad had interesting flavor but the portion size for the cost was really small and it didn't have hardly any greens in it. The risotto was decent but had no flavor to explain the green tinge. I was hoping for a nice pistachio flavor. The gnocchi was good. Service was good. I was warned about the lack of greens on the salad so that was good. I still question the wisdom of having that item on their menu at that cost. I like this place and since it's near work will likely continue to come here.

This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience. The menu is diverse, with something for everyone, and the ingredients clearly fresh and high-quality. I had the seafood risotto, which was creamy and loaded with generous portions of shrimp and scallops. The dessert menu is also impressive — I went for the chocolate lava cake, which was rich and indulgent. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended for a special night out.

My boyfriend is a huge fan of trying different breweries. We came here after spending a day at the safari zoo. The food, atmosphere and the beer are all great but we saw there’s a surcharge on the bill and we were not notified at all. If we didn’t pay attention, we wouldn’t have noticed it yet. And it was a party of two people and we don’t understand why there was a surcharge, and the most important thing is we were not noticed at all! That’s why it’s a one star review not a five!

Google
Really surprised by the interior and the huge selection of beers. Both local and guest breweries so there’s always something new. I ordered the Brussel sprouts, which had a bit too much ‘sauce’ but other than that everything was great!

When I first walked in I was expecting a traditional brewery, I didn't know anything about this place, and I felt a bit disappointed. However, I was impressed by Roberts amazing customer service, and his great recommendations. The beer was great, and the Nashville chicken sandwich was amazing. Not only was Robert welcoming and fun to talk to, I witnessed him being challenged by a customer who was immediately on the defensive when she was unhappy with her own drink selection. Of course the customer got her way, despite being very rude, and still Robert held his own better than most, with class and respect. Needless to say I will definitely return.

Food tastes good. Beer even better :) Little bit busy and noisy, but overall, it's a good experience.

Google
Our bartender Brian was a great guy, he went above and beyond with making sure our mugs weren't empty and also recommended good places to go since we mentioned we're from Mexico. Overall the team was awesome! Thank you

Google
This place is the right amount of fancy. It's an awesome date night place; low lights, industrial with a fancy twist. They have such a good beer selection and a few guest taps. I was pretty impressed with the quality of beer. Nowadays there are so many breweries that focus on quantity over quality. That was not the issue here.

Yelp
We stopped into Abnormal on a hot day after golf and the cool and dim atmosphere was exactly what we needed!! Service was quick and thoughtful, we found the food to be really good and the drinks just ok. The carbonara was creamy and I loved the thicker noodles. Our friends got the wings and burger and said it was delicious and my husband ordered the poutine with a short rib on top. The poutine was everything he dreamed of. I also ordered the sour slushee and found it to just be ok, and I'm a big sour fan! This was a nice spot and mellow, but otherwise a bit out of the way for it to be a normal hang.

Yelp
Woah!!!! Banger alert!!! Got a flight and partook in the food too. Its a menu and sort of fine-dining feel (and pricing) to it. Luckily, the mussels were absolutely aces and the beer I tried was JAWDROPPING. Their lighter selections were so well done and unique. Alter Reality and Abnormally German are a MUST!!! Balanced sweetness, pilsner goodness. Their Hazy, American IPA were very reminiscent of old Burgeon, like a supercitrus but still good. Its close to my house and I should come more often, I had tried their beers before but never been to the location. If you still go to Stone, then its time to step it up and go here. The ambiance is legit. Customer service was good too.

Yelp
(note, this brewery is listed twice on Yelp, the address is the same, but one has a suite number. I tried to flag Yelp to merge these two, but they did not. Please do the same, kindly reviewer, and maybe we can get these merged) Outstanding! This is an emerald in a gravel pit. It's in a suburban area of San Diego with barely any breweries. Lucky for me, it's now one of my favorite breweries in San Diego! The setting and vibe is much more moody and intimate than your typical brewery. In fact, I was initially a tad put off and wondered if I was in the right place. Make no mistake though, pull up to the bar and browse the tap list and you'll realize that this place does indeed have big, brewery-energy. The taps are made up primarily of crisp lagers and tropical IPAs. These happen to be my two favorite types of beer (and they are rarely seen together like this at breweries) The food is also fantastic, the Nashville chicken sandwich is not to be missed. The bartender is friendly and knows his stuff when it comes to both the food and the beer selections. This place is so good it's worth a special trip up into the hills!

Yelp
Abnormal has struck the very hard balance of a nice restaurant with a casual brewery vibe. The beer is top notch with quality ingredients. The chef has done a great job picking out dishes that are casual for a brewery but made with nice touches. Highly recommend this place. It's perfect catching up with a friend over a beer, a work event, or family gathering. My only complaint is that the Birra dip was $22 and came with only 7 chips. It was a tiny app. My Rueben was $17 and much larger

Yelp
I'm from Hawaii and we stayed hilton. My husband like a brewery alcohol. It was a awesome experience we have the food and amazing. The ambiance was nice inside was so cute rhe bathroom is clean. The service was fast. Good thing we are early cuz maybe like 20mins boom it was busy and my server was a little bit stress. But they have a good teamwork so it was a smooth dinner for us.

Yelp
I want to start by saying the beer was very tasty but I can't speak for the food as we stopped in before dinner plans. I wanted love this place more but when we walked in we were taken back by the sticky floors. At first we thought you know accidents happen but the longer we sat in the restaurant the more filth we noticed. This place needs a major cleaning! All the fans were dirty which is mainly alarming because they were prepping food near by. Most things were coated in dust including the lighting. The two women next to us thought there was a animal trapped in the ceiling but the staff "reassured" them that it was just leftover fiberglass from ripping the insulation out. I'm no expert but I'd think you would want to remove that completely, if your choice, due to serving food and drinks. The staff was kind and as I said the beer was good but not sure I'd return.

Yelp
Abnormal Brewing has been on my radar for a while. I felt very fortunate to get an opportunity to try one of their beers over the weekend. I was not disappointed in the slightest with the beer selection that Steve and I had. We had the Drift Away which is a Coconut Cream Ale. We love cream ales and feel like we don't get to try them often enough. The flavor in this is fantastic. Yes, there is plenty of coconut flavor to this beer and with that some sweetness but nothing that was too overpowering in the sweet. Perfect balance and the creaminess feature kicking in made for a very enjoyable beer! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
The amusing part of this review while I was writing this, was that I had come here for a Yelp Elite Event (Cork and Craft) 2 nights prior, and found out Abnormal Beer and Cork and Craft were combined. This location was so close to work! Then a happy hour event popped up on the calendar mentioning that it was here... and it was like the universe was saying, Lisa, I want you to know that you will frequent this place more often. I had the thrill of coming here 2 days after coming here for the Yelp Elite Event, and came to the shock that the food menu had changed since then. And...Matt was my group's server that night! I was originally looking forward to sampling their specials - garlic bread, but didn't get the little specials paper. And after talking with Matt, he gave me the shocking news that their menu was changed. Alas, lobster roll - hopefully next time we meet! I ordered the brussel sprouts which were still super tasty! Although it got swapped for red onions instead of the red peppers that I had previously tried 2 nights ago, it was still really good. My friends N and J ordered the ceviche and a burger. N's burger was massive with 2 patties! He happily finished all of it and left nothing. J finished her ceviche, which was interesting because it was spicy watermelon gazpacho for the sauce. I happily nursed my lemon meringue pie 5 oz and got to know my friends more along with making new connections during happy hour. My friend N liked the key lime pie version. It was hot when we were drinking, and they graciously shut off the lights, which made a HUGE difference! Their decor was a bit rustic, so they had heat lamps on. We were all sweating up a storm, so it was huge relieft when the turned off the middle one for our table. It was like INSTANT relief. The happy hour group met regularly after work on Thursdays, so if I come again, I know who I'll see! Parking was plentiful with their lot and also street parking. They share outdoor and indoor seating. Abnormal Brewery has the bar area where they do trivia nights. They have a bigger room (which you can reserve for events but have to spend a specific $ amount for food and drinks I believe). Their kitchen has seating indoors, and they also have a section outdoor for seating.

Yelp
Came here with friends for the first time as none of us had been here before, but have had Abnormal beer elsewhere. Variety of beer is a plus, food options were good and reasonably portioned for pricing. My personal favorites were the salmon poke tacos. Stuffed with well seasoned chunks of salmon and taco like toppings (aioli and seaweed salad). Ceviche wasn't bad, Brussels sprouts were piping hot but very sweet and saucy. The poutine was also good. Ambiance is nice, but seems like it could get a little tight when crowded in the bar area. Outdoor seating looked nice too. Service felt slow, but they tended to leave us alone for the most part.

Yelp
Nice place to eat & drink. The Beer making equipment is on site which makes for a nice ambiance. The food was delicious and the beer flights could be any choice of 4 on the menu. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately there was a limited selection of shirt sizes to buy on the day we went.
google avatar

Transbeman S.

Yelp
4% surcharge on bill without explanation - no disclosure on menu. Wouldn't go back even if the beer wasn't just slightly better than mediocre as it is.
google avatar

Jamie E.

Yelp
A friend and I happened upon this place by searching for a place to eat on yelp. Could not be happier that we decided to give it a try! All of the food portions are meant to be shared which let us try multiple options. There is so much flavor packed in that you wouldn't want an overly large portion. Everything was perfectly balanced and delicious. I'm not a fan of beer so I opted to try their "beer smoothie" and shockingly enjoyed it more than expected. The staff were all kind and helped and the food came out quick. Can't wait to take traveling guests here!

Yelp
Another solid 5star experience here at Abnormal. So, must be time to give credit...where it is due. Abnormal continually offers a great experience along with a fantastic product. On a recent visit to the bar for a weeknight respite, my wife and I had a fantastic time. Jeff was helming the bar that night and knocked it out of the park for us. We even left with a few bottles of the dessert wine from Abnormal, one of which I am about to enjoy right now! The only critique I could offer is just the aspects of Abnormal Beer, Abnormal Wine and Cork and Craft, makes it hard to give a precise review as all are under one roof and in almost one area. Thankfully, you get something great out of all these names...so it is easy to spread stars around.

Yelp
So, a little clarification to start off with. Abnormal Beer Company resides within the same building as the Cork & Craft. Both share the same address. All Abnormal beers are produced here & the brewery taproom is at this location. The Cork & Craft is a full restaurant attached to the brewery/ taproom. All are part of Abnormal Co. Because there is a separate Yelp listing for both, which to review? Since my experiences here have all been with the brewery/ taproom bar area (w/ 1 tiny exception*) & I have yet to do the full sit down restaurant service, this review will be for Abnormal Beer Company. For which I am a big time fan. Their beers, fantastic. I've tried quite a few Abnormal beers at this point & I've been quite impressed by most. For me, by now, confidence is high I'll like a beer if I see the Abnormal name/ brand/ logo with it. & coming here for their beers, at the source, has been a consistently overall good experience. Such was the case on a Saturday night when I brought my partner in crime. It'd been a long day, week, etc. & she wanted to go out for a drink. Neither of us was in the mood for crowds. Getting in after 8pm, Abnormal was just the right pick. Fantastic beers, as expected. Nice, chill vibe. Great service. Coming from up the 15, Abnormal is a tad out of the way for me. But it always comes to mind when I'm considering where to go for fantastic beers in a relaxed setting. *Oh & the food, I have tried the Poutine here during Happy Hour. Crazy delicious & filling like a meal. If that's what the kitchen here can do, I guess I'll have to try the Cork & Craft too.

Yelp
We were in town on vacation and made this a priority stop while we were in town- and it delivered! The food was extremely good. I had the gnocchi, wife had the burger and they were both great. But the real highlight for us was the beer (of course!) We ordered the Pie Flight and could not have been more impressed. Each of the flavors were distinct, full of flavor, and you really got what they were going for flavor-wise. If you're ever in the area and want to enjoy great food and extraordinary beer- you will not regret going to Abnormal. Cheers!!

Yelp
Beer was great, food was okay. Tab was free on account of another patron making some snide remarks that deserved a good punch in the face. Rather than de-escalating the situation the bar manager sided with the other patron. In the end he comped our tab. I'll take it but won't go back.
google avatar

David W.

Yelp
I was quite surprised when we walked in. I was expecting the usual taproom but this was sit up as half restaurant. We were there to have a local craft beer so we just sat in the bar / taproom side. They had a large beer selection and it was laid out, easy to read. I ended up getting a flight of 4 to better sample their beers. What a great neighborhood brewery.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time a couple months back, I just never got around to writing a review. I love that this placed is in a little nook so it's never too crowded. Parking is a little weird to me, but that could just be a me thing. Staff here is friendly and very helpful. I had a lot of questions about the beer menu I don't remember the name of our waitress but she was so nice and didn't make me feel like an idiot. Definitely would recommend for a nice date night spot.
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
Went for a few beers. We sat on the patio. The service was very good and they checked back often. I'd go back sometime soon.
google avatar

Morris H.

Yelp
I just wanted to be sure to honor National Burger Month by having a delicious burger along with a libation. This burger was grilled to perfection and although it does not come with tomatoes I had to add some on mine. They also have a great sauce on the burger that adds to the flavor. This is my third time ordering this burger and once again it hit the spot.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out after having a pretty ok sour elsewhere by them. The bar tender woman was very rude and unwelcoming and the outside server was not rude or friendly. As we were sitting there, we realized that a giant fly had committed suicide in my boyfriends beer and the server came by as we noticed and all she said was "oh, a fly got in there (not sympathy at all)? Did you guys need anything else?". Not going to even offer to get us a fresh 5oz pour of beer? Wow. This place MUST be struggling. Can't say I'm rooting for them. Due to the poor service, we decided to just leave instead of ordering more food or drink. We won't be back. There are plenty of other good beer places in San Diego.

Yelp
This is crazy. The last time I was here, they were only a wine company. They hosted my department holiday party, and then closed down for a remodel. I moved on from that company soon after and forgot all about this spot until this past weekend. My friend said he wanted us to try this place, and it wasn't until we'd turned onto the road leading into their complex that I put two and two together. (Side note: I love the remodel, and how open the space is now. And of course, I love the craft beer addition!) I was way too full to try anything proper - this was the third brewery just that day, and the guys were talking about going to dinner afterward - so I went with a taster of the "Bring It". My lord, that was one tasty brew! I think my Untapped review read something like, "Holy mother of all things sweet and spicy, this is delightful! Perfect blend of spice and sweet." I absolutely would have gotten a crowler of this delightful brew to take home...except that they don't offer it in crowlers. Disappointing. Had I been a bit more sober, and a lot less full, I would've sat down with a true pint of the stuff, but alas, it was not to be. The bartender was friendly - he came by to chat with us a bit about our drinks, their tap list, their membership program (kind of pricey, even for this type of thing) and the brews they offer for crowler fill. I'm sure we'll be back, though it'd be a trek for us. Still, I'd like to try their other brews, and I know my husband was a fan of his drinks (yes, he had two), as well.
google avatar

Daniel D.

Yelp
Beer is fantastic, you can't make a bad choice here. The food is just okay. It's definitely overpriced for what it is and all 3 dishes I've tried this week were lacking in flavor. But it was really close to my hotel and the intense week long class I'm in so convenience won over price. Edible for sure, just not something I'd go back for again unless I was in a similar situation. Definitely go get yourself a beer. Maybe eat somewhere else unless you're out of options -- still better than any fast food joint.
google avatar

Yelp
Order a 5 gallon keg of boss pour for my sister and fiancé engagement party. The only hiccup with the order was not ready for pickup when we came even though order was laced a week prior. But the concern was easily looked passed with the quick and reassuring response from staff that they would have it ready to go for us ASAP. My sister and fiancé were very happy to have one of there favorite beers on tap. Will defiantly be looking to come back and getting another keg next February for the wedding!

Yelp
A good family and dog friendly spot if you're in the area! Good snacks and choices for beer flights.

Yelp
Met an old friend at this place. Really great beer, I tried the hefeweizen and my friend tried the hazy IPA. Those hit the spot. Despite the beer being so good, what stole the evening for me were the Brussel Sprouts. Those are The Best Brussel sprouts I have ever had. Perfectly caramelized with the inners moist the outside crispy with the right amount of tartness from the sauce. Paired with pickled onions, just a tad bit sour from the pickling. Yes, the beer was good but the Brussel sprouts were better. I am so coming back for those.

Yelp
Came here to replenish our bodies after Potato Chip Hike. Abnormal Beer Company is in combination with Cork & Craft. We were greeted by the host and asked if we'd like indoor or outdoor seating. We opted for indoors since we had been out in the sun. However, the outdoor patio was very lovely. It was a handcrafted wooden patio. No roof enclosure but they had lights hanging on the beams on top of the patio. It looks like it'd be a nice scenery in the evening. They also had seating along the sidewalk that offered a bit of shade. The tables and booths inside are distanced appropriately according to COVID guidelines. Masks are mandatory unless you're seated at your table or the bar for food and drinks. We ordered pretty much one of everything on the menu and shared family style. The BBQ platter was unexpectedly a collective favorite. Meat fell off the bone. So satisfying after a long hike. They have a wide selection of beer and wine to choose from. We specifically chose Abnormal because the head brewer is Filipino! We've tried their beers before and wanted to get the full experience at the brewery. It's a great spot for date night or even for a larger group. I definitely plan on returning for more grub and drinks!

Yelp
One of the nicest breweries I've been to! You can tell the entire atmosphere was thoughtfully curated, from the organic yet industrial vibe of the place to the flavorful beers and food. The beer is amazing, my only critique being: a need for a organizing system for their flights. My partner and I could not remember which beer was which, but they were all delicious! The food was incredible, the appetizers are a great tease but are still a great quick bite. Overall, perfect for a first or second date, or just a nice night out. If you like great tasting beer, mature and chill kinda vibe, this is the place!

Jj D.

Yelp
A few of us came down to San Diego for a work trip. A good friend recommended this play so we tried. Definitely coming back. The ambience was super cool seeing all the beer vats, lighting was perfect, and ease of having a normal conversation with one another without any loud noises. I ended up getting the Seafood Roll...amazing. My other coworkers got the Craft Double Double, House-Made Gnocchi, and the Poutine for entrees, in which all of them would order again without hesitation. We all also got the 10oz beer flights...amazing crafted beers!!! The only thing that I can say as a recommendation is to either remember the beers of what you are tasting or have them labeled...lol, as I was not able to remember the beers that I ordered. Regardless the ability to sample their creations was an amazing experience. I hope to see their distribution expand and see their line of beer in Boise, Idaho!!! Thanks Abormal for an awesome dining and drinking experience with good friends. JJD

Yelp
Good beer selection and nice ambiance in the dining area. The family went out for lunch here and we had a flight to check out their current brew taps.
google avatar

Jes M.

Yelp
Place is really fancy. I had already grabbed something to eat prior so I didn't get to try food but it looked good. My dog made special appearance on their TV too. They have some to go beers that aren't available on draft. I'd definitely check it out again and eat. I do recommend the Hefeweizen, of course.
google avatar

Pete J.

Yelp
Great service great beer and the food for lunch was just perfect!! Allow dogs outside so our furry child could join us an great location in Rancho Bernardo right off the 15.
google avatar

Ken W.

Yelp
I didn't visit Abnormal during the pandemic lockdown. I recently visited them and not only enjoyed a flight of their brews but they have a killer Reuben sandwich! Service was also perfect!

Daniel L.

Yelp
The food is great, with good portion and price. Nice little hang out place with comfy vibe hiding in the corner of the office buildings. I have been coming here 4 days in a roll to pick up a growler of beer, plan to go through the whole beer menu.

Shannon W.

Yelp
Great beer and a plus that they are gluten reduced (with the exception of the hazy's). You wouldn't even know they were gluten reduced because you can't tell. Their key lime was incredible and I also liked the pale ale. Wish they had less expensive food, that is the only star subtraction, otherwise it's wonderful.
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
A little hidden gem. I haven't had a chance to eat here yet, but I've popped in for beers a couple times while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn. It's dim and cozy, and the service has been polite and helpful. The beers have been decent, and they offer a wide variety of styles and some really great guest taps. Not very obvious that there's even a beer bar hidden inside this place, but beyond that, I am a fan.
google avatar

Ben U.

Yelp
Wow, just wow. maybe it was the smooth feel and creative tastes of the flight (together juicy IPA, Blackberry Pie, Mango Wango, Maple Pecan Pie). maybe it was the juicy ribs whose bones practically fell out, the pork belly perfectly done, presented on pesto with golden tomato and bread cuts, or maybe the brussels sprouts in a date balsamic glaze with crispy pancetta. maybe it was the attention to the pandemic with romantic outdoor socially distanced seating. I don't know. maybe it was a little bit of everything. either way, I'm definitely coming back.
google avatar

Steph S.

Yelp
Love this spot! Great service & outdoor patio with amazing beers & the can packaging is sleek & sophisticated

Alex F.

Yelp
Tasty beers! I usually enjoy a hazy IPA at most places I go, but this time I tried a brown ale and it did not disappoint. Another drink I tried was the Maple Pecan Pie. It was indulgent, very maple-y, great for sipping. The ambiance here is on the classier side, but most patrons, at the time, were dressed casually. I'll be back for sure.
google avatar

Cody W.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our experience sitting outside Cork & Craft / Abnormal to enjoy beer + lunch. I ordered a flight with mostly light options. They had a tasty fermented pineapple drink for my alcohol free husband (would love to see some alcohol free beer choices in the future!). Food was excellent and at par with any fusion type restaurant, just elevated with the great beer to accompany. We got the buttermilk chicken sandwich, garlic noodles and poutine. The chicken drum sticks looked delicious so we will try next time.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
They have grilled Polpo and taste great more than I have expected. All visitors should try it for appetizer and ask for seconds. They also have sweet broussel sprout with crispy pork belly. I recommend it to ALL.
google avatar

Brendan K.

Yelp
Had a gathering here for a semi special occasion. About 10 people. Everything was fantastic. The beer, food and the staff. The bartenders in particular put out a great vibe. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
I work a few minutes away from this place so I wanted to give it a try during my lunch break. I have a pretty restrictive diet so I always cook my own meals. Most breweries don't mind as long as I purchase a beer or two. I asked the host if I could bring my own meal while I had a drink. She immediately turned me away without any attempt of accommodation. Wasted time and gas.
google avatar

Angel B.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in after a Padre game last week. This place is for sure a hidden gem. It was about 8:30 pm on a Saturday so we called to make sure they were still serving food. To our surprise the hostess said yes ! The kitchen closed at 9. She greeted us at the door and asked if we were the ones that called. We said yes. And she walked us straight to the bar and let the bartender know we needed food menus. Bartender Julie took over and was nothing short of awesome. Made suggestions for beer that were delicious. I had the amber. So good ! We ordered the poutine tots and the salt and pepper wings. These wings are bomb! Julie chatted with us as she closed the bar but never rushed us. She even brought us a few more beer tasters. We will definitely be back. Great little spot.

Yelp
Do not sign up for their Ambassador Membership at this brewery! They don't fulfill allocations and will go radio silent and not respond to emails. Still waiting on beer from the 2018 membership....

Paul C.

Yelp
Came here twice with some friends and I would say that they have a great amount of beer selection. It was also quite astounding when I found out that this business also makes their own wine. However, we only got the chance to sample their beers. Maybe the next time we come back, we will try to sample their wines too. Anyways, because we came here twice, we were able to sample their whole beer menu. I would say everything was decent. My personal favorites were their Tiki Island and their Boss Pour drinks. We all liked it so much that we even got Boss Pour 4-packs to-go. Out of all the breweries we went to, Boss Pour was our favorite west coast IPA drink so far. I'd definitely love to come back when they are able to fully open once all this chaos resides.

Noemi T.

Yelp
Service and food was terrible- beers were ok but don't waste your time - while there was one other guest,my boyfriend and myself did the tasting flight. He got 2 tasting beers left I had a half of a glass. The manager started a conversation with my Boyfriend - at the meantime I finished my beer - and asked him if he would like an other beer- left me hanging there. The food was terrible . Ordered the poutine and Brussels. Brussels were burned and we needed to ask for it to be sent out after 15 minutes of ordering it, while the other dish came out first . Will never be coming back.

Yelp
Went down to San Diego for a brewery tour and found this gem!!! Great beers and food. Pleasantly surprised while at Atomic Liquor at Downtown Las Vegas and the beers are sold here.

Yelp
I came here yesterday with a friend for dinner. We got the salt and pepper chicken wings, 3 cheese gnocchi and seared salmon. The overiding theme here was the lack of salt or seasoning. The gnocchi was fine given the Italian sausage itself gave the dish the seasoning it needed. However the wings and salmon fell short. The wings were juicy yet needed salt despite all the fried up garlicky goodness that did not stick to the chicken. And the salmon dish, although nice in presentation, lacked any flavor at all. The salmon was cooked nicely but there was no salt or seasoning on the fish or anything else for that matter which left a $30 plate of blandness. Too bad since all the ingredients looked fresh and vibrant but went wasted without flavoring. Hopefully it was an off night for the chef and the salt was just misplaced or lost in the kitchen that night. This review was intended to be 2 stars but was upgraded to 3 stars thanks to the gnocchi.
