Yelp
This is one charming neighborhood cafe! You'll find it right where Como and North End meet, in a quiet residential area a few blocks north of that dicey Dale/Front/Como intersection. There's always plenty of street parking available, but they do appear to have a couple of off-street spaces.
The cafe is owned by the same folks who own the adjoining law firm, and thanks to that there are a lot of playful legal puns on the menu like the "Fearless Lawtte", the "Motion Granted", and my favorite, the banana-milky "ReSipsa Lawquitur". This is also a Latina-owned business, and you can expect that to inform many of their recipes. Most recently I had a holiday-themed drink with a Mexican-style dash of pepper, and it had the absolute perfect amount of pepper to balance the other tasty ingredients. They have a pastry cabinet which depletes throughout the day, but if you're there early enough you can try one of their very satisfying danishes, croissants, etc. They also have coffee beans and other market items available. The service is extremely friendly and the decor is dainty and thoughtful. And although I usually enjoy the dine-in experience, when I get my coffee to go it comes in a fully-compostable cup and lid, which I appreciate. It's just a really pleasant cafe all around and I am positive that you will love it.
