"The bar at the center of The Square has a dangerous line of little round cocktails this season called BuzzBallz. Beverage director Owen Thomson also crafts an aged eggnog loosely based on a traditional recipe that he found in one of Martha Washington’s old cookbooks. Thomson says he has been making “the same eggnog for about 15 years,” using bourbon, rum, and sherry mixed together with the standard cream, eggs, and nutmeg — and saves an annual quart to act as the starter for next year’s batch." - Emily Venezky
