I ordered rice pudding from this truck. The rice pudding had rot on it. Last time ordering from there and decinetly going to report it and escalate it.

Best schwarma I’ve ever had, so glad they were able to upgrade from the food truck. Great food, great service, can’t ask for more. Order the zinger arabi with extra garlic sauce to have an amazing meal.

I saw the shawarma rotisserie but after I ordered and watched the guy prepare the food he never carved any fresh meat off the spit for my or other orders. He pulled the meat out of some storage when preparing and then heated the wrap on a griddle. Extremely suspicious. The wrap was a tortilla burrito not classic lavash style bread. I took one bite and spit it out, GROSS. Inedible and total rip off. The guy would not refund me, wanted to make me something else. I was so grossed out, barf! Do not eat here.

We found a stapler pin with an open end in our chicken shawarma. This is dangerous and a sign of utter negligence.

Abu Omar’s food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh. The service was great friendly and quick.

Fast-food/ghost-kitchen quality at restaurant prices. Shawarma wrap was small and the $6 side of fries was identical to what would have been 50 cents with a public school lunch. Not terrible, but don't waste your time and cash when you can get way better halal for less at local businesses (including literally across the street).

Aiden was awesome and the food is freaking great. since I was in college they started from a small food truck to now a great brick and mortar location and their food has not changed at all still serving one of the best shawarma in Austin
