Lovely tres leches cake! I ordered it about a week or two in advance and payed through a mobile text. When I called in, the woman on the phone was very knowledgeable of her product and helped me get exactly what I wanted. She explained the difference in price, size, and servings for each cake. I chose the smaller one which was the 8x8 cake size and she communicated that it would be $27 and serve 4-5 bigger slices. They also had chocolate and strawberry flavors. It was easy to pick up on the date, accessible and quick. The shop does feel kind of tucked off and was a little hard to find but so worth it. 10/10 would order again.

I love this song place!!!! I came for the first time this Sunday! The conchas are so soft, the tacos are amazing and the salsa is so flavorful. You can tell they put heart into their food and business. I am really happy I finally came and tried it. I will be coming more often.

Abuelita’s Bakery is a true hidden gem. The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and made with love—it’s a nostalgic taste from back home. The staff is warm and welcoming. If you’re craving authentic, homemade valley treats, this is the spot!

Absolutely delicious! Authentic Mexican bread. The drive from Manor TX was worth it. Enjoying my bread, coffee with this rain. I highly recommend this location and will be returning. Heaven on earth raza....

I've been coming to this establishment for years. I've brought tons of family and friends! The pastries are amazing! The beverages are amazing! The tacos are amazing! I've been to the one in Buda and both locations are aesthetically pleasing. Plenty of places to take cute photos, 10/10 recommend 🎯💯♥️✨

Came to try out this place. I ordered tacos and barbacoa and it was delicious. The pan dulce pastries fell very short of the mark though. I got an assortment of pastries in one container along with another container of the sugar/cinnamon cookies. The pastries and the cookies were hard and tasted days old. I’m pretty sure they weren’t fresh which was highly disappointing. I most likely won’t be returning as I can get tacos from another establishment closer to my home.

I went in on Friday. I purchased a variety of items for my family as it was my first time there. Iced coffee, empanadas, concha’s, marranito and tres leches. But the customer service was terrible. I walked in when it was empty and the cashier was not friendly, didn’t smile and when I went up to pay she looked like she didn’t want to be there. I felt like an inconvenience. Shortly after another customer walked in to ask questions about the concha’s and the cashier spoke to her in a very rude tone, and so I know the issue wasn’t us as customers. The customer was taken aback and so was I. The food was good but good enough to have to deal with employees like that.

I was wanting mini conchas and pan dulce at my wedding and Abuelita's provided them in the perfect size! I also requested that they not be individually wrapped so our guests were able to grab multiple upon serving themselves. They were able to meet my requests with no issues! Not only was the size perfect but everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We had some left over after the wedding and after heating them up a tad bit in the microwave, they still tasted delicious! Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for some pan dulce for an event!

Yelp
This place is a cute little Mexican bakery spot that serves sweet pastries like conchas and tres leches cupcakes. They have horchata and caramel frappes and they have hot coffee too. When you go in there you can take cute pics in every little area and they have a little shop in the back that sells from concha slippers and t-shirts to accessories and crochet items. They seem to be busy and they have a small parking area. They do have some seating in there so you can enjoy your yum yums there. Everything was delicious and the place is kept tidy. My only minor issue is that the person that takes your order could have been more pleasant and friendly. We got no smile and she looked like she didn't want to deal with anyone but I wasn't going to take away a star for that one person but felt it should be noted.

Yelp
Loved this bakery!! The tacos and pastries were exceptional! The lady that checked us out was so nice and helpful for suggestions. They do have a few indoor and outdoor tables if you choose to eat there. I will definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
Stop!! I can't handle it!! Concha Explosion of Mexican pan dulce (sweet bread), tacos, drinks and merch!!! We ordered way too much and enjoyed every minute of it!! Kids were fighting over mini pan dulce goodness, and the tacos were delicious!! I grabbed an horchata frap on the way out. My absolute favorites that will make me drive all the south to get it again we're the barbacoa corn tacos and mini conchas!

Yelp
I watched this spot change many hands and businesses I pray it remains as Abuelita's Bakery. The fruit empanadas are perfection!! The perfect amount of filling, a crisp, sweet crust, goes great with morning coffee. I recommend this bakery, 5 snaps up, and I encourage you all to drop in, on your way home. It's easier to make the turn into their parking spaces when you are traveling East on Buda's Main Street

Yelp
They're literally dinner rolls with a few specs of concha. Not impressed at all. They're never right with measurements of something.

Yelp
This was my first time at Abuelita's and it is such a cute place inside! It is small with bakery cases along one wall. The lady at the register was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was picking up some tacos and they were delicious! Lots of flavor and the tortilla was good and sturdy for a taco. I wish the salsa had some heat but that's my only small complaint. They didn't have much left in terms of pastries but I can see why, everything looked so good and the prices are fantastic. Definitely will be going back soon!

Yelp
These tacos are burnt bacon, watery eggs and the potatoes have zero seasoning. The conchas are good but the last one was not fresh and tasted days old. I ordered a coffee but tossed it due to something black floating in it and it was watery. This is not the first time I've gotten gross food here, my 10 year old can make better tacos. The Kyle location is not very inviting and the tacos and salsa are just as gross and the conchas used to be amazing but the last 2 times we gave them a chance in the last two weekends the conchas were disappointing so no more chances because the food is disgusting! This place is way too expensive for the below par food they serve and my friends who have given them a chance agree! Please don't waste your time or money here because there are authentic restaurants that are way better and cheaper. If i could give zero stars I would.

Yelp
Really cute, great quality food and value!! Very friendly, great customer service. Also really close; we will definitely be back to try the coffee!

Yelp
You can't just visit this place once. It'll be your go-to-spot! The service is so friendly and the pan dulce is the perfect size to enjoy with a cup of cafecito! I had to try the barbacoa and it didn't disappoint. Reminded me of the one my grandpa used to make. Love this place!

Yelp
I've ordered twice from this spot within the last 3 weeks. That's pretty darn good for me. A couple of things to note - DON'T follow your GPS on Apple Maps or Google! It kept bringing me to Kyle's Flea Market area and the gas station near it when this bakery is actually on the opposite side of the freeway, past Starbucks and the carwash, heading back towards Lowe's, Hawaiian Bros, etc. It's in a small office/shops building that has a barber shop. Slow down when you are driving on the Frontage Road, so you don't miss the sign and the turn. The inside is small and has some fun merch. It's first come, first serve on available baked items placed on their shelf. We've tried quite a bit - they have the BEST conchas I've ever had (never been a fan until I had theirs); the Tres Leches cupcakes are super good and moist; Horchata Frappe is delicious; Cinnamon rolls - say no more; and breakfast tacos? SO. DARN. GOOD. My family has liked everything we have tried from here, which is a difficult feat, IMO. One of our fave spots and glad they are close to home. Praying for this business to have lots of success!

Yelp
This place is super cute and the pastries are really good! The have a souvenir cup that they are promoting, they have a membership card because they know you'll be back, and the concha's are so good. The breakfast taco I had was good but they were heavy handed on the salt. This will definitely be our lil go to spot in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Best Mexican bread in Kyle. The empanadas are delicious I prefer the apple and pineapple ones. Also their Concha's are big. The girl in the front is extremely friendly Love this bakery

Yelp
Mini conchas were super soft and warm. They are pretty small so I got 12 for a family of 4. We also got pan de polvo heart shape cookies and empanadas. I'm not really an empanada fan but I'm willing to trying them. I tried the pineapple and Apple and they were AMAZING. I love how the edges were a little crispy and the filling was delicious and not mushy like I have had at other places. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Cute local spot that I hope succeeds. I love to see that it's a local favorite. My 3 starts is simply for taste and authenticity. I was super disappointed. It isn't the typical pan dulce pastry dough or flavoring. It's more sweet, soft and flakey and that was a bit disappointing for someone wanting to enjoy traditional Mexican pan dulce. I know that we all have our own takes on things and I can respect the adaptation. It's simply not for me. Another downside was selection and presentation. By the time we arrived there wasn't much left. And the way it was packaged individually took away from that fresh warm pan experience. Overall I wouldn't recommend for any traditional panaderia flavors or experience but I'm just one person and I hope as small business they do well!

Yelp
This bakery has the real Mexican flavor, great quality and sweet bakers working there. Again. The real deal.

Yelp
We came in this morning for some pastries and were not disappointed! The strawberry shortcake conch shell was amazing! The conch shells are light and airy and the perfect blend of sweetness. We also got a cinnamon roll, the icing is fantastic, and melts in your mouth. The cream cheese danish has a wonderful, buttery, flakey crust. The staff is friendly, and the line moves quickly. This is a great place to come pick up delicious treats!

Yelp
Great tres leches cupcakes, empanadas, breakfast tacos and coffee drinks. I can't speak to the concha's because they are not my jam. Shop is run by a lovely local family.

Yelp
Good food, and pastries. Good service nice friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was good and colorful.

Yelp
This place is great! The mini conchas are soooooo moist! Not like traditional conchas that are more dry. They're SO tasty! Even my toddler ate them. I remember disliking conchas as a kid because they weren't really dessert. With cafecito, these were perfect! The piña and manzana empanadas are delicious. They're thinner than El Paso Bowie Bakery empanadas but rolled in cinnamon and sugar. They're so good!

Liz D.

Yelp
So good and the staff is super friendly , they make good pan de dulce. Thanks for the amazing bread and customer service.

Yelp
Abuelita's has been on our list of places to try for awhile. It's worth waking up early or ordering ahead. Their empanadas, muffins, mini conchas and buñuelos are fantastic! Service is nice and friendly. Their items sell out each day so make a point to get there early.

Thelma M.

Yelp
Very clean bakery I love their empanadas I'm on a diet but every time I pass by I want to stop The girl in the front is extremely friendly

Yelp
AMAZING. I've never seen a bakery so dedicated to making delicious and fresh baked goods. They are so fresh because they're almost always sold out which is amazing. I've been to many a Mexican bakery in my life but none as good as this one! Definitely try it out!

Yelp
The breakfast tacos are sooo good , reminded me of my moms tacos as a child. The concha burger is delicious and very flavorful and juicy and not messyyy. And the barbacoa tacos were on point!! My whole family loved them. It's a MUST TRY! Will def be coming back.

Cyn S.

Yelp
I'm sorry Abuelita's Bakery, unfortunately I give it zero there was NOTHING in her bakery other than merchandise. I was not there to buy merchandise; and not to mention the owner was not friendly either. The reviews must have been posted by a family member. Save your trip!

Koral P.

Yelp
Love it here! Good service and good bread, and I just love how cute it is. I love their Frappuccinos

Erica H.

Yelp
Fantastic!!! Adorable shop, great selection, and very fresh. I wish there was one in Buda!

Yelp
This bakery is amazing! I love that their sweets are pre-packaged. We tried the cream cheese pastry and the mini conchas which were absolutely perfect & soft. Also tried the horchata frappe which was another winner. I would highly recommend this bakery!
