Google
One of our new favorite Peruvian spots in the Bay Area! The atmosphere felt like home, service was amazing and staff was attentive. We got pan con pollo, arroz con pollo, lomo saltado, tacu tacu, and chicha morada. The food was delicious. We will be back!

Google
Arroz verde con pollo y papa a la huancania was delicious. Picarones were freshly made good size for the price. Lastly, had to taste a lomo sandwich for the first time and did not regret it at all so much flavor.

Google
I love this place. The bread on the sandwiches is home made and is fantastic. The yuca fritas are great! The desserts are amazing and the folks who work here are very welcoming.

Google
Great authentic Peruvian food. We tried multiple dishes, and they felt homemade and were very tasty. Services was cordial and fast. Definitely recommend it!

Everything we have tried so far has been nothing less than amazing! Fresh and authentic, most importantly the hospitality makes you feel as if you are welcomed into their home. Personal favorite in Antioch!

Google
The empanadas were delicious, very well crafted. The chili sauce was so flavorful. The alfajor was also great, but did taste a bit stale. Charging $7 for a juice seemed a bit excessive. Love to see Peruvian food!

Yelp
Abuelita's House is one of my favorites places to go. The food is very tasty, very authentic and it is like you are eating at home. My daughter loves the tallarines verdes, the sweets and desserts they have. The service is great and very attentive. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Great spot to catch an early weekend brunch or lunch. The fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. They serve a nice cup of coffee to get your day going. I've tried two plates on the menu and I'd have both of them again. Nice local spot.

Yelp
So for does that went to their grand opening, and like it , I have good news they have a brand new menu and more items. I probably will not be coming back, it was overpriced and overrated. The food was ok , the packaging was 5/5 but the food was 3/5 , I ordered a Pan con lomo might as well be a Pan with onion, I tried for the first time yuca fries , not sure if they are supposed to be hard and chewy , so I can't rate that. I also got a box of Alfajores those were 5/5, in total with the Torta, yuca fries and cookies I spend $38.92 including a tip of 15%. The restaurant is nice and clean , customer service is good. Parking lot on the street or across or on the side.

Yelp
If it's Sunday and you're not at Abuelita's house than you're in the wrong place!

Yelp
Glad to see a new restaurant in downtown Antioch. Friendly workers, Lots of seating and easy to find parking next door. We ordered: Lomo Saltado (4.5/5) very good but i can't justify paying $18 for this plate. It's not a lot of food either. Pan con Chicharrón (4.5/5) this was so good. I loved the pickled onions with the sweetness of mashed sweet potatoes and the chicharrón. Now the little orange sauce they serve is booomb! I'd probably be back for the pan con chicharrón. * Sorry no food pictures, hunger won

Yelp
I was so excited to eat at this new restaurant with great reviews. Unfortunately they illegally discriminate against people with disabilities so I cannot support a business who discriminates. They have a "no service dogs allowed" sign. This means people with visual disabilities, or medical disabilities do not have access. Hopefully they change their policy and I wish them the best of luck. Downtown Antioch needs unique places like this.

Yelp
Quality Peruvian food on this side of the Bay. They offer a variety of sandwiches, entrees and dessert. The fresh juices are made to order and affordable. They give you big food portions at decent prices compared to other Peruvian spots.

Yelp
Came back for their pan con chicharrón sandwich. They changed it a bit, different bread and it's no longer fried, nonetheless it's still tasty. Also ordered a side of yucca fries. The aioli that comes with both is delicious, it has the perfect amount of heat to it.

Yelp
Fresh, authentic, generous! Service is the best in town. Everytime we visit we try something new and have not been disappointed. Don't forget to wash it down with passion fruit juice and some flan for dessert, top tier!

Yelp
I just want to say im so glad this place opened up in Antioch with authentic Peruvian treats!!! Tried the Pan con Chicharrón and it was so delicious. This sandwich is hard to find and im so excited they have it on their menu. Tasted just as if I was having one in Peru. Highly recommend and can't wait to try all of the sandwiches on their menu. Also got lucky and they had picarones on the menu today again another hard item to find. They did say they have it on occasions so this unfortunately isn't on the menu regularly but very glad I got lucky today with these. Definitely coming back and recommending it. Friendly staff and parking was readily available. Inside was cozy and lots of tables available. Note at this time only accepting cash. Venmo of Zelle

Yelp
I love everything about this place, starting with a great environment and customer service, tradicional Peruvian music and the most important, "food"was delicious. My nine year old daughter ordered a ham sandwich and she loves it, thy make fresh bread for their sandwiches. we definitely coming back to try more of this food.

Yelp
I have ordered here twice for delivery for our large group and have been impressed by the staff, food, and delivery each time. The owners are very sweet. We have multiple food allergies and the menu always accommodates our needs. I always get tons of compliments on the food and look forward to our meal when we are in town. Ive never been to the actual location but would highly recommend the food the pricing is good for the large portions.

Yelp
I tried the Pionono and it was a little bit hard, not fresh. The portions are okay but it is a bit pricey. Had some Empanadas and the Arroz Chaufa were good. The Picarones were good too. We were all pretty happy with the service. The place looked clean and it was not that crowded that day. Cool small restaurant to hang out.

Yelp
I highly recommend the Pan con pollo (Chicken sandwich). The food is cooked with the Peruvian style. This place is now a recurring spot for our family.

Yelp
The item that I ordered was not the item that I received. I didn't look at my order because I explained what I wanted and I don't know what the dish is called but I didn't get it. I don't think I will go back until someone speaks English

Yelp
Went in for a quick snack and drink. Was super excited to try it. Food was yummy tasted super fresh. The customer service was also great.

Yelp
Went in for the first time. It's a cute little sandwich shop with some pastries. Not a huge selection but they're still new. We ordered the triple sandwich which is Turkey and avocado. Soooo good! I was impressed. We also order the steak sandwich. Yay stay away unless you like really chewy meat.

Yelp
I loved the cake it was too good the service was a 10/10 the man who attended us was so polite I do recommend coming here I came here with my family we will be coming back soon.

Yelp
5/5 just go! We had the Pan con Chicharon (so delicious, tasted like pork belly with sweet potato and onions on a homemade roll), the triple sandwich with egg (probably the best egg salad sandwich) with freshly made juice smoothies, coffee and topped off with Christmas alfajores. Great ambiance (decorated for christmas, lots of families and festive and cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. I absolutely cannot wait to be back!!

Carly C.

Yelp
Pan con chicharrón was juicy and delicious. Bread is made in house for all their sandwiches. 3 leches cake was the perfect consistency.

Yasmine C.

Yelp
Finally found a great local Peruvian place! Stopped in to try it and had the Tacu Tacu (Lomito). It came out quick and was absolutely delicious! Staff was great and very attentive. I cannot wait to come back and try and the sandwiches and fresh juices. Go support this lovely local spot!

Jocelyn A.

Yelp
Very rare to find good authentic Peruvian Food. Very good, great service, and chocolate cake was phenomenal. Will return for sure!!

Sidney K.

Yelp
Food was ok but took too long for it to come out. Then they screwed up our order by excluding three different items we ordered, some of which we were charged for. Glad we checked before leaving. Had to wait another 15 minutes for them to complete the order. Not coming back.

Yelp
The experience at the Abuelitas House restaurant was very pleasant, it feels like if you were eating at a family home, the food is very traditional and the sandwiches they serve for breakfast are very delicious. The attention the owners give is excellent. I recommend this place to all people who want to try authentic Peruvian food.

Yelp
I would the service was very good. They were very attentive and courteous. The food was ok. The maracuya lacked a bit of sugar it was a bit sour, the chicharrón sandwhich was ok as the bread was a bit hard and didn't seem as fresh and as for the tallarin saltado was allot and ok on flavor. I would give them another try but not the best olive had. As for the location, it wasn't as busy as they had just opened.

Maggie B.

Yelp
So glad to find a new Peruvian eatery. Small menu but determined to try the Lomo Saltado and pork chicharon sandwich. Enjoyed both. Sandwich could have used fresher onion salsa. A bit pricey, which will keep me from going back more frequently.

Annie T.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. I ordered lomo saltado and the food was so good and freshly cooked. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Yelp
Very fresh food, I ordered pan con chicharrón and will definitely be coming back for more. The bread was soft and fresh and the prices were very affordable! Looking forward to coming back soon to try more items on the menu. Wishing your business many blessings and opportunities in the near future, Thankyou for your quality food

Yelp
The food was amazing! Service was nice and friendly and the vibes were amazing! Being Peruvian, she represented the food to the T. Her prices are pretty good for the plate. Definitely a place to try out!

Barry R.

Yelp
Having traveled in Peru many times I have developed a taste for the food. Loma Saltaldo is my go to dish and this one was no different than what you get in Peru. I had a cold Chiicha Morado to drink. They also have Inca Kola and Coca Cola.

Jessica E.

Yelp
I honestly thought it would be better. For the grand opening , I thought they would have more pastries to choose from. I bought 2 pastries which was good. I ordered 3 empanadas, 2 chicken and 1 carne which says steak on the menu. I I received 2 carne, 1 chicken instead . I thought it would actually be steak and not ground beef. Big olives with pits so you have to be careful when you take a bite. They were not completely filled which was disappointing for $5 each. Spent $33 for 2 pastries and 3 empanadas.

Ariana R.

Yelp
amazing ceviche and lomo saltado! the owners are so sweet, I will definitely be returning!
