Had a phenomenal time here. The installations change monthly and it's a beautiful, well organized space. Very inspirational. Staff was very welcoming. Please don't let the location keep you from going. You get buzzed in the building and it is very safe.

Such a great space for art! I can’t wait to go back for an opening. Really amazing works and lovely humans. And there’s parking!

The gallery was super fun, expressive, beautiful. Wonderful ambiance to it that makes me want to come back again. DR was a really cool employee, enjoyed talking about the pieces. 10/10 recommend.

I had a lovely time checking out the bright side exhibition. Parking is easy if you go during the week. I loved their shop and beverage area! I gained so much inspiration from my visit. What a lovely curation.

I've been going to ABV for 15 years total. Everyone that works for ABV is super amazing. They always put on great events like 'drink and doodle' the 'outer space project' etc...I have been to the new space in East Atlanta a few times. They are huge supporters of local Atlanta artists and now world wide.Would definitely stop by and spend some time checking out whatever it is they have going on.

Great space to build community or have a date night. There are some amazing restaurants in EAV to grab a bite at after too. We love going to the opening night events for each show to run into friends we’ve met there in the past. Then we will go back on another night while it’s still running to have a drink while we discuss the art just us. The drink & doodle and other events are great too. On Valentine’s Day artists were even selling commissions at very affordable prices.

My daughter and I came to check out local legend Dr Dax / Greg Mike and the exhibit was fabulous. Layout and set up is wide, with capabilities to handle larger and smaller crowds. His exhibit runs until June 8th and I recommend every Atlien far and wide to check this out. Don’t forget to check out the black & white mural across the street. (You can also see another one from 75/85 underneath the Olympic torch!)

Yelp
Really dope gallery space and agency in atl. We were in town on a mural project and decided to drop in for the "locals only" show opening featuring 80+ artists from Atlanta. Really strong show... was also cool that they were doing a team up with the center of puppeteering and had a bunch of Jim Henson and puppet creations on display as well as a BTS photo exhibit in one of the rooms. Look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I went to ABV for one of their Drink+Doodle events. I've been following the gallery on FaceBook for weeks, so when I saw they had an event (and it's free) I jumped at the opportunity. ABV is located off Auburn Avenue in the Studioplex Business Complex. They offer valet, but there's a very well lit deck that's right next to the lofts. Parking was $5. You are walking through the Studioplex Lofts' courtyard to get to ABV, but it's safer than walking along the side street. Drink+Doodle tickets were free, but I'm not sure what the cost of admission is on regular days. You can watch the artists paint, mingle, and drink in one space. The first floor isn't that big, but I think during certain events, they open the upstairs section. They have a small bar/ gift shop area. Beers were $2, stickers were $1, and merchandise ranges from $10-$40. Even though it isn't very big ( I was able to walk through the gallery within 30 minutes), the pieces on display are all unique. I noticed paintings from local and international artists. The prices are VERY affordable ( I had to talk myself out of buying a HUGE Greg Mike print). I enjoyed ABV for the short time that I was there. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
I came for an art exhibit on a Saturday night. There was a long line out the door but it moved quickly. The area itself was pretty small and cramped because they added a wall in the middle to hold more art pieces. They were able to fit a good amount in there and I enjoyed the selection. Most pieces were $1000+. It was easy to get through the whole area in only 15-20 mins so I wished there was more room but I had fun. Next time they should open a little patio or something outside so more people could just hang out with their drinks. Fun experience.

Yelp
I've attended a couple Drink + Doodle events at the ABV Gallery to support local artist Michael Carpenter. He's extremely gifted and earnest, and I'm glad that small galleries such as ABV promote and support local artists whose work otherwise wouldn't have a platform. The Drink + Doodle is cool because you get to drink while hovering around a long picnic table filled with people also imbibing and sketching. At the end of the night, their pieces are hung and offered for sale. I made an ass of myself trying to purchase a piece from the first Drink + Doodle I attended, so I made a mental note to chill last night. I would rather sip a gin and juice than cry over not being the first to claim a drawing of neon snakes with cat heads.

Yelp
In January, I attended my first Drink + Doodle event at ABV Gallery. My pals at Cathead Vodka were sponsoring cocktails for the event, so the prospect of sipping a honeysuckle vodka plus checking out some local art sounded like a great way to spend a weeknight. Parking was a bit unnerving because I was worried about getting towed. The security guard finally saw me and made me move down a few spaces, but my pal just parked on the street (I suggest you do the same). For Drink + Doodle, a long table was set up in the middle of the room where tattooed artists drew some of the craziest and coolest graphic images I'd ever seen. It was a barrage of colored pencils, charcoal, oils, etc. surrounded by up-and-coming photographers snapping pictures of the event. I should have bought something to commemorate my first Drink + Doodle as all of the artwork from that night is for sale...maybe I will next time. This is one of the coolest spaces I've seen in the Old Fourth Ward. If you're heading over there, I suggest dining at Serpas first. At least then you won't have to worry about getting towed!

Yelp
Last night I attended my first Drink + Doodle event at ABV Gallery to lend my support to my friend Jeff MacDonald who'd been invited to participate for the first time. It was a very cool little gallery and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening there. ABV's a small local art gallery that focuses heavily on promoting local artists and their work - whatever their medium may be. And for Drink + Doodle, a long table was set up in the middle of the room for about 20 invited artists to sit at and just let their creativity flow. During the night, people could talk, drink (gin was the alcohol of choice last night), watch the artists at work and purchase pieces made that night or made previously and displayed for sale that night. What a cool concept! So I mingled, watched some off the wall art appear from thin air, caught up with old friends and made new ones, and generally enjoyed myself in this laid back, chill atmosphere. While the prices for the art were a little rich for my blood, they had lots of cool pieces I would love to go back to see more of. If Jeff participates in another, I'd be happy to go back and lend my support again in the future. It's located in a hip part of town too near the Old Fourth Ward.

Yelp
Was here for a Drink+Doodle event a week ago and loved it. I've followed ABV as well as Greg Mike for a while, but never made it out to any events. This event was free with an RSVP and offered free Heineken(win). Its nestled in to a mixed use complex with apartments and offices. The parking was about $5 and the walkways were well lit. The gallery itself had a great vibe,it was a nice size but small enough to give an intimate feel. The art was amazing and some were moderately priced for the budding collector. I enjoyed watching the artist draw freehand and post there pieces to later be bid on silently. I will definitely come back to any event that is hosted here.
