Abyssinia Ethio Kitchen

Wonderful, flavorful, excellent food! We ordered about ten days beforehand for our family birthday trip down from ABQ just so we could have Ethiopian food and it was so worth it! It was six of us and we went wild, getting 4 veg and 3 meat dishes. Best injera we've had and each dish was delicious; we especially loved the ater (yellow split pea), misir (spicy red lentil), and doro wat (chicken stew). Great experience with the catering and delivery; highly recommend Abyssinia Ethiopian Kitchen!!!

The food at Abyssinia is beyond fantastic. Entrees are large, spiced perfectly, and the injera is excellent as well. Prices very reasonable, and owner Belen is wonderful and responsive. So glad to see great Ethiopian food here in El Paso; would strongly recommend.

Best food ever! Everything is really good, from the Beef Tibs to the Veggie Platter. Nicest people ever too. I would do 6 stars, 5 isn’t enough.

The Food at Abyssinia is amazing, it’s my go to place for my Ethiopian food cravings. They deliver on time and are super considerate. They always make sure to add complimentary non spicy baby friendly food to my order for my one year old. order from them, you will not regret it.

I searched for ethiopian food near me in el paso and I came across abyssinia ethio kitchen. I decided to give them a try and ordered the beef tibs with kitfo and ayib and collard greens on the side! It was so flavorful and delicious! The delivery driver was so nice and professional and arrived 5 minutes early. I highly recommend that you give abyssinia ethio kitchen a try. They are awesome!

Love this place! I am so excited El Paso finally has an Ethiopian restaurant. Everything I’ve had from here is delicious and fresh, delivery is always very prompt, and the portions are great for the price (it always lasts me two meals!). The owners are also super kind, friendly, and communicative. I highly recommend. If you’ve never had Ethiopian food before, I encourage you to try this out. The veggie combo is always my go to!

Four of us shared two sampler platters with a wide variety of dishes. It was all great, but I especially enjoyed the fish and the lentils. There was some sort of spicy dark red sauce (which reminded me of mole) that was also delicious. We had a great time trying the different flavors together. I heated up the leftovers in the oven the next day for lunch!

Had a friend of mine cater this for our work. I’ve never had Ethiopian food before. This was absolutely amazing! Not only was it a unique experience for me, having never had some, but the food was delicious! 10/10 would eat again!!
