AC Hotel Orlando Downtown

Overall, the hotel was nice. I’m hoping the cleanliness issues I experienced were a one-off and not something other guests encountered. However, the shower had mold, and the sink leg appeared to have dried vomit, which I noticed on my last night. That was quite disappointing. Additionally, the room was noisy due to traffic. While earplugs were provided, this is still something to keep in mind when considering a stay here.

To start, the only reason I scored this hotel a 4 is because they only brought us 1 washcloth each night. They knew it was 2 guest, but only a single wash cloth. The 2nd night we came straight in to take showers and realized too late that there was only 1 wash cloth, ugh. ||Other than that the hotel was awesome. Great staff, clean, sleek and modern. We ate dinner and had drinks at the terrace bar/restaurant. Drinks were pricy, but you expect that in a major downtown hotel. The terrace has a great, direct view of Kia Stadium.||The hotel is very convenient to I4 so getting around is a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is nice and clean. However, when we arrived, there was no one at the counter to check us in. ( We found her outside at the valet station) We waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes or so to be checked in. Also, we needed the internet. The guest check in didn't work. Their site offered both free access for guest and paid access. Only the paid access was available. I called down to the front desk and they offered to send someone to our room to help with that issue, but no one ever showed up. Soooo, as quest, we had no access to the free internet they offered. The hotel is too close to the freeway which made it hard to get to sleep because of the noise. We also had to pay for parking in the hotel garage. So in a nutshell, we paid good money for no perks for being guests.

We stayed here two nights and although the beds were very comfortable, there was an annoying constant noise which we think was coming from the elevators or electric room - both which were near our room. If you stay here, request a room away from the elevators as they may be a bit quieter. The rooftop was nice although the views are of the highway below and stadiums. Be prepared to wait in line for an elevator especially on any game night! Enjoy the how the hotel was walking distance from many restaurants and holiday spots.

I’m going to steal the term the reluctant traveler from Eugene Levy.. I travel internationally, Maybe every 2 to 3 years. I live close enough to Orlando that I come down perhaps 3 to 4 times a year. I never come to downtown Orlando. I happened to have to be here for a work event. I chose this hotel because it was a seven minute walk from where I needed to be. As a female, I can tell you it has been incredibly safe to walk from my hotel to the clinic that I’m working at in that seven minutes. The valet parking is the same price as the daily parking so why not utilize that! The young man at my valet this morning was super nice. I will say that he will get you a luggage cart, but you will be responsible for getting your own luggage upstairs. So if you’re not willing to do that, it’s not place for you. But if your arms and legs move like mine, you’re good to go lol. I got here very early and brought my items to the 18th floor. I checked in with a very nice young man and I don’t remember his name. So if you work for Marriott and you’re reading this, I came in today at around 7:15 AM. So whomever was at your front desk is a wonderful person and I hope that you recognize them. Very helpful and showed me the way to the clinic that I’m helping at and assured me that it was a safe walk. Later in the day he called to let me know that my room was ready. When I did come back to the hotel, Leo was at the front desk. He remembered talking to me on the phone when I called ahead of time with some questions. Such a friendly young man! I had a super easy check-in and got my key. One of the cool things about this hotel brand is that you use your hotel key for safety to use the elevators. So I used my key and went up to my room, which is amazing! As a female I would like an extra hook in the bathroom to hang my toiletry bag. But that’s such a minor issue. Everything has been really great. If you are staying in downtown Orlando, this is absolutely a place that you should consider.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I'm so glad I listened to those who recommended it to me. Every staff member is friendly, welcoming and professional from valet to front desk to the servers and housekeepers. When I initially arrived, my room wasn't ready, so I was offered an ADA room and allowed to change rooms the next day. All of my requests were able to be accommodated (except for one bed versus 2 queen beds, which turned out to be fine), so that was great! Loved the rooftop bar! It truly stands out. The music, drinks, and overall vibe were great. I also had lunch at the restaurant inside. While I didn't get to enjoy the gym, it's nice and has great equipment. I also ordered dinner one night, and while I wish it could've been delivered to my room, it wasn't the biggest deal to go downstairs to pick it up. Especially since I received a call as soon as my order was ready, I was able to order my food (as well as extra pillows and blankets) through the Marriott app. Next time I'm back, I'll definitely be staying here again! :)

Booked hotel for Dec 27-29. Upon check in there was a large party going where the check is on the 18th floor. I assume it wasn’t a party for guests. There seemed to be lots of non guests walking around this hotel. Our room bathroom door was dirty and it appeared to have vomit on the door. Sheets had hair, pillows extremely flat with spots on it (mold). Around 11pm there was a lot of noise like people partying in either the room above, below or adjacent. The noise was at a level that was extremely disturbing. Around 2am the noise level became of concern as it sounded violent and a woman was getting beat up by several individuals (males) in a room. I called the front desk and Austyn H from the hotel came to my room and heard the noise. I was about to call the cops however Austyn ensured me he would check it out. After a time period of hearing this woman getting beaten, I met Austyn in the halls 2:30am and explained to him I would check out the next morning because my family is unable to sleep due to this violence and felt UNSAFE. The moment I went back to my room, I heard the ambulance, and police, and notice the “violent” noise instantly stopped when the ambulance went away . Something happened very concerning at this hotel on Dec 27. The next morning, Austyn explained that removed the individuals from the property and they offered me complimentary breakfast. I honesty believe my entire stay should be credited. This is an unsafe hotel and I would not recommend this hotel.

Had an incredible stay here! Patrick and Jean were fantastic. They went above and beyond! Great hospitality is rare to find these days and I’m so happy I came across this hotel. Incredible location, rooms were all new and so many great walking distance spots to go to. - in town for a friend’s wedding.

The AC Hotel by Marriott in downtown Orlando is a very modern hotel that sits atop a bank. For check-in, you have two options: you can either check in at the bottom floor where there's only one person available, or you can go to the 18th floor where a full staff is ready to assist you. The 18th floor is also home to the Sky Bar and the hotel's restaurants, with guest rooms located above that level. The hotel boasts a sleek, modern design with rooms that are sparse but attractive, featuring modern amenities like digital air conditioning. We've enjoyed our stays here, appreciating the contemporary vibe and the strategic location. It's conveniently close to the Kia Center for Orlando Magic games and the Dr. Phillips Center for plays and other events. The only downside is the forced valet parking. We experienced significant delays with the valet service, at one point waiting at least 20 minutes to get our car. Despite this inconvenience, we would consider staying here again due to its fantastic location, though we would look for alternative parking solutions.

I love Marriott and as a Bonvoy member only stay at Marriott's family of hotels. I also love the AC having stayed at several here in the state of Florida. We checked in for one evening, Wednesday, April 24th because of a concert nearby. Checking in was easy and the staff was wonderful ... Here's where things go downhill... This particular hotel is known for its many floor ... 25 I believe! One elevator was down and another never seemed to open at the first floor, leaving one working elevator for a sold-out evening. (Workers told us the hotel was fully booked.) Our bathroom was icky. There was human waste remnants around the bowl. I asked a cleaning person to assist and she said she would. She didn't. We were also left with an obviously used bottle of lotion which we used accidentally not realizing it was empty and touched by the previous guest. I'll be visiting AC Hotels and continue to stay with Marriotts, but this was a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully they can rectify these issues.

I stayed at the AC Hotel Marriott in Downtown Orlando on 01/28/24 to 01/29/24 with the intention of exploring Orlando with a friend and attending a basketball game. As a fan of the AC Hotel brand by Marriott, I was excited to experience this newer property, especially with its claim to being Orlando's tallest hotel and its AC Sky Bar. However, the reality of my stay did not match the expectations set by the online representation. The hotel's location, sharing a building with Truist bank, posed an initial challenge in finding it upon arrival. The hotel starts from the 18th floor of the shared building, with the first floor dedicated to the bank and a small corner for hotel check-in. While the check-in process was smooth, navigating the hotel proved to be a significant hassle. An elevator was down, requiring the entire building to share one, which caused delays and congestion. Additionally, the elevator's key card reader was unreliable, further complicating access to floors. The parking situation, with the garage shared between the hotel, bank, and other occupants, added to the inconvenience. The need to share elevators with various groups--those exiting, accessing their vehicles, or heading to rooms or facilities--led to further delays and frustration. On a positive note, the hotel room itself was clean and met Marriott's standards. Our room on the 21st floor offered views of the highway and the Kia Center. However, the condition of the hallways on my floor, including a cracked mirror near the elevator shaft, was disappointing, especially for a newer Marriott property. Ultimately, while the room served its purpose as a place to sleep, the overall experience was marred by logistical challenges and unexpected inconveniences. Despite the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations, the hassle of navigating the hotel and its shared facilities detracted from the enjoyment of the stay. Considering these factors, I would likely explore other options for accommodations in the future when visiting Orlando.

This is an interesting hotel. I stayed here while I was in town on business and enjoyed my trip. It's a modern hotel with some interesting amenities. The formal lobby is On the 8th floor (I think I said that right) but it's more than that. You have the lobby area, bar, restaurant and all around hangout area. It's a really cool place to hang out. My room was very comfortable which is a huge thing for me while traveling on business. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. My only observation was the breakfast was a little odd. It wasn't a traditional breakfast and think that it was a tad overpriced. Other than that, I was very happy with my stay. .

Excellent! Great location and within great walking distance of many restaurants and other local businesses and attractions. Clean hotel, friendly service! When you walk in go right to the elevators and the lobby is located on the 18th floor with the SkyBar! You must check out the SkyBar and the spectacular views of Downtown Orlando! Foxtail coffee is located right when you first walk in at the bottom level!

I recently stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Orlando Downtown during a work trip, and I had a great stay. The hotel is very clean and organized, and all of the service I received, though minimal as I did not require much interaction with staff, was good! During my stay I utilized the conference rooms, and public spaces including the lounge and sky bar, as well as my personal room. Everything was great! If you're looking for a hotel in the downtown Orlando area, I think AC Hotel by Marriott is a good choice.

I had a wonderful stay at the AC Marriott Hotel in Orlando Florida. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great location near the downtown attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Derrius Kasse, the front desk clerk who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He not only upgraded our room, but when he heard my wife was not feeling well, he put together a care pack for her to take as we left the hotel. That was such a thoughtful and kind gesture that made us feel valued and cared for. Derrius is a true asset to the hotel and the Marriott brand. The manager Bobby Copeland clearly hires great talent and develops his staff to the next level. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a superb experience in Orlando. Thank you, Derrius and the AC Marriott team, for making our stay so special!

A really enjoyable stay - and ideal place for a business traveler. But there are a few quirks about this place for those who get triggered easily. Let's start with the good: Beautiful hotel with views overlooking the city skyline in all directions. Rooms have a contemporary feel to them and are spotless (I've stayed in six different rooms over the past few months). Compared to other hotels (even this ultra high end ones), this one made it to the top of my list in terms of cleanliness. Additionally, they have an inside/outside sky bar on the 18th floor, which is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as you sip away the days events. The only negative about this hotel: The lobby is on the 18th floor. No big deal, right? Well that lobby also shares the same area as the sky bar (which is trendy), so you'll feel out of place / uncomfortable if you arrive in casual clothing (enough so that there is a sign in the elevator demanding that shorts not be worn). Additionally, the elevators are a bit unpredictable. This is the first place I've been to where you literally have to plan to wait upwards of 10 minutes to get a ride. They stop randomly, switch from going down to up mid-ride, and are slow. Bottom line, I'm here for the clean room and comfortable bed. Yes, the elevators annoy me, but not enough to prevent me from leaving 5 stars and a reservation to come back next time.

Came here for a quick stay in downtown Orlando right next to the train station. Conveniently located and a modern style hotel. We stayed in a corner suite which was really nice and had a nice amount t of room, and a small fridge. There was a microwave in the commons area on the same floor near the elevators. There was a separate floor that has a lounge and restaurant area. This area also has a beautiful outdoor area that over looks the city of Orlando. I would definitely stay here again

This was a great stay! Location was great. Valet parking. Gym was great with weights and cardio equipment. The rooftop bar and lobby on 18 was amazing. Drinks and dining on the rooftop with amazing sunsets.

Super Loud! After traveling for a week - I wanted a last night of sleep before heading home. I picked this AC Hotel as a way to stay loyal to the Marriott brand. The hotel is right on the side of a major multi-lane highway that runs through Orlando. I was told there were no rooms available on the city side of the hotel - so had to stay on the highway side. The sound of the highway is extremely loud in your room. When you walk in the room - there are ear plugs on the side table - bad sign!! I will not stay here again and if you are looking for a good night's sleep - beware also!

Overall, a disappointment and would not recommend. The 18th floor lobby is a negative because it affects the elevator availability--the time we had to spend waiting for an elevator was unacceptable. Staff seemed not to care (was told the elevators were slow because of number of rooms..?) For the price, one would expect the tv to work (was told it was a problem throughout hotel--for 3 days?!), fitness room equipment did not work, etc. Of course, there is always the noise off the expressway, but that was predictable. There were quirks with the lighting in bathrooms, with frosted barn door (not easy to open) which emits light into the bedroom area. Stay elsewhere --

Terrible management. We walked in around 11am and were told our rooms weren't ready so we left our bags with the front desk and decided to stroll the town. We ended up coming back at 6:15 and than we were told that they are overbooked and sold our rooms. Management came and did absolutely nothing but notify us that there's another Marriott down the street for $99.

I feel like the only way you could give this hotel a bad review is if you haven't seen or been to the other options downtown. The only place better to stay downtown is the Grand Bohemian, which will run you an extra 100-200$/night. This hotel for one has tons of space, most downtown you can barely walk around the lobby without bumping into tourists with suitcases. It has byfar the nicest gym of all downtown hotels. It is clean, and if you ask they will typically give you a room with a decent view. Valet is speedy and efficient. Cute skybar.

One word...Justin. At the bar. He sets the tone for this location. Staying at the hotel for a conference at the convention center and having a better than expected experience thus far...enough to write a review. Admittedly, I'm pretty snobby about hotels (I'm more of a ritz gal) but I know I'm in Orlando and all (lol). I was skeptical but I'm pleasantly surprised and comfortable. The renovations elevate the place/lobby/bar instead of feeling like a typical base level Marriott. Don't judge a book by it's cover. When I saw the "look" of the building upon driving up, I started thinking maybe i didn't make the right decision but the fully renovated property inside gives clean and smart spacious. For all my convention center travelers, this is a great place to stay. And again, visit Justin at the bar. He'll elevate your Orlando experience no doubt. Cheers

Stayed here for a concert at amway center. Very strange layout for a hotel. Check in on 18th floor. Went to the bar after checking in. Service was slow with only 5 people at the bar. Bartender uniform looked like he found it under the seat of his car from a previous shift. As it got busier more bartenders came on shift. I thought then that it would get better. Nope. They just made drinks for the servers and overlooked the people sitting there. Room was decent but overall not worth the cost.

This was my first time staying at an AC Hotel, and while I loved the location and the modern vibe, this wasn't the most welcoming stay. LOCATION: we stayed here for Stars on Ice at the Amway Center and it was perfect. It's the closest hotel, about a 2 block walk. You're also really close to lots of restaurants and things to do downtown. I stayed at the Marriott a few blocks away and while I think I prefer that hotel a little more, the AC has a superior location. ROOMS: the rooms have a very clean and muted aesthetic, but touches like master light switches next to the bed and multiple places to sit make them feel very livable. The bathroom was quite nice and the bed and pillows were amazing. The main con about the rooms is the noise. The highway noise was fine--easy to drown out. However, the thumping music coming from the lounge/restaurant downstairs was much more bothersome. It went on past midnight. We were on the 21st floor, not sure if it's better on higher floors. Luckily, we are heavy sleepers and there was a noise machine provided, but if you are sensitive to sound I cannot recommend this property. DINING: we had Sunday brunch at the Sky Bar and thought it was great. The prices are a little high, but the quality was good and I felt it was reasonable considering the view and atmosphere. The live music was a nice touch. Service was just average but I would definitely recommend the Sunday brunch. I'm sure the daily breakfast is nice too, the prices are a little lower than the brunch but has some of the same items. SERVICE: the service we had over chat was excellent, in person it was just fine. We were very grateful that the chat staff member was able to make brunch reservations for us on Easter Sunday (many places were booked up, including the Sky Bar on OpenTable). However, the service in person was rather cold and not super friendly. I guess I just kind of got a pretentious vibe from the staff. I loved the rooms and views from this hotel, but I just feel like the experience overall felt a little unwelcoming and chaotic. I really think if the service was friendlier I would have felt differently, but the cold service combined with the slightly unwelcoming public areas just made this a hotel we didn't want to spend much time in.

This hotel has the lobby on the 18th floor. Don't try checking out at 4 am to catch a flight at 6 am because the valet and security would rather see you struggle and have personal conversations over cigarettes. As a former member of hotel management in Los Angeles- I give this place a F. If you want privacy this is not the place. The housekeeping also breaks DND ( Do Not Disturb ) on the door the first and second day of your stay. The Managment uses the excuse its law to enter the room on the third day which is understandable but it Happened on the first and second day to many of my colleagues. If you're in town for entertainment, meaning you have an event you're working ( a concert ) this is not the place. If you want a party with rowdy guests that like to fight and have bloody matches- this is your place. The front desk is behind locked doors at night on the 18th floor so again- if you're checking out and have to go to the airport to store luggage etc. Don't count on the front staff on the first level to help you. They will make you late.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to come to this hotel within 2 weeks of it opening! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the room (king city view) was a decent size, with lovely fixtures. All amenities on site were beautiful and well maintained. Given the restrictions due to Covid, the hotel found many ways to keep both the staff and visitors safe. Food/Drinks- The European breakfast was served by a lovely attendant, Candy, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food preparation and AC brand overall. The European breakfast goes beyond your usual "continental", there was fresh prosciutto, airy croissants, so many different coffee options (nespresso, iced, regular) and even hot plate options. At the bar, I mentioned in passing that the tonic for their signature drink may cause me some gastro discomfort. I honestly didn't even think anything of it but the bartender kindly gave me the bottle of tonic separately and advised that I could pour the amount that would best suit me. To me, that kind of attention to detail elevates an experience. Amenities- beautiful gym, conference rooms, etc. my favorite thing about the gym is the pre packaged headphones, in case you forget yours. There's no excuse to not get a work out in if you want one! Overall, a lovely stay and I would recommend!

I feel lucky to have stayed at this hotel just as it opened -- it's absolutely gorgeous with unparalleled views of Orlando. For what I expected to be a business hotel, the rooms were above and beyond my expectations. I'm including some photos of the view from our room. Top notch. As for the bar and restaurant... I've been back three more times since staying there because the food is great and the service is fantastic. Every time I've been there, the servers and bartenders have been welcoming and kind. While it's promoted as a taps menu, they have burgers that'll fill you up. Definitely try the meatballs and the avocado toast. Classics for sure, but their take on them is awesome. And last but certainly not least, the views from the bar and restaurant. Oh. My. Gosh. You have to be up there to see it for yourself. For locals, know that you can see all the way to the Orlando Eye in one direction and to Cranes Roost in the other. Sunsets are off the chain, but word has gotten out about the sunset view so be sure to make a reservation if you want an outside table. You should probably make a reservation no matter what on weekends -- it gets very busy very quickly, but it's worth it. Bottom line: you have to try this place for yourself. Make an overnight stay of it if you can, or just come for food and drinks if that's all you need. You won't regret it.

AC Hotel by Marriott Orlando Downtown on Garland Avenue in Orlando is a great place to stay in the middle of everything. It is well managed and they have everything that you need for the best stay. The staff here is very accommodating and goes all out. Great experience staying here.

One of the best showers in the world! I loved this extremely high pressure, wonderful shower experience where I literally felt renewed every time I used it. Happier on a great level. Thank you for what you do housekeeping wise. they were wonderful and very attentive. The lower front desk staff was great and was a very easy check-in. On the 18th floor, that staff was great too, even at 5am when I would use their amazing gym. The store had all the random stuff I forgot after not remembering how to pack after covid travels ( a contact lens case for example: haha) the lobby experience and even the books on display were really amazing. I want to stay here again in May for 7 days for sure and will look for deals to do so.

One of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is directly on I4 and the highway noise is unbearable. there are much better options at the Grand Bohemian or the Marriott nearby. Avoid this at all cost if you value your sleep.

I treated my BF to a stay here, didn't know this building was also an Hotel until I passed by it one morning This place is amazing and the views of Orlando are unmatched. I took a ton of pictures and videos. The staff were super friendly and accommodating Will definitely stay again..

Had a quick stay here. Wonderful room. Easy check in and parking. Every employee I encountered was on point from the moment valet got to my car. Beautiful sky bar and it's a really great location downtown

Apparently this happens every weekend, per the hotel staff. They claimed someone fell but that's just clearly not true...there is still bloody carpets from last weekend...house keeping breaks dnd (do not disturb) and after one knock they'll walk right in

We stayed at this hotel on May 21st and valet parked. Once we returned home we realized there was a huge dent in the rear of the vehicle. The hotel would not take any responsibility! Be cautious!!!

I'm a marriott member and this hotel has the worst employees. I wish I read the reviews before deciding to stay here. I will make sure to never stay here again and warn everyone I know to avoid this place when they visit. I came to check in and for whatever reason their system had problems on the first floor so I had to check in on the 18th floor which was not big deal for me.. but little did I know that was the first of the issues that will follow. I got in my room and the floors in my room were obviously not cleaned. The employees there hardly did their jobs during my stay. The valet and security guard working the late night/early morning shift should be fired. They are lazy and don't do anything at all. Instead of giving you your keys to your car, they just sit and chit chat and watch you try to open the doors and walk around looking for valet until you're on the verge of missing your flight. Listen to all of the bad reviews because I now can say that they are all 100% true. This place is terrible.

We were expecting everything to be top notch at this new hotel, but we were quite disappointed with quite a few things. First of all, who puts the lobby on the 18th floor? The lobby should be on the first floor with people to help answer questions and guide guests when necessary. There were people there, but they were not helpful. Second, the rooftop bar is on the 18th floor, not on the rooftop, and it closes at 10 pm on the weekend! Third, the hotel rooms are very noisy. Very. Interrupted our sleep. Fourth, we called for the valet to get our car, but it wasn't there when we went downstairs. The valet stand was surrounded by people who park cars, but ours was not there. Finally, we had dinner reservations in Winter Park, and because the signage for the hotel is virtually non-existent, Uber drivers could not find the hotel. We won't be back.

I always come to this hotel for drinks at the Skybar! The atmosphere is great if you want to get dressed up and go somewhere a bit classier than the typical bars in orlando. Drinks and service are always 10/10. Also love the close proximity to the Dr. Phillips Center, so if you are coming from out of town to watch a performance, this is the perfect place to stay!

The rooms and reception/bar area are stylish, but generally I can't say I recommend. The staff seem to be still working out their kinks and several miscommunications to me led to an unsatisfying 4 day stay. Here's what happened: 1) I arrived late on a Sunday night to an empty valet stand. I had to find my way to the reception (18th floor) and was told by the receptionist that I could 'leave my keys with him' and that valet parking was included in my room rate. This resulted in the team losing my car the next morning (took 45 minutes for them to find it on a Monday morning) and then being suddenly charged $80 on my last night. When I asked the Wednesday night receptionist, I was told that 'no valet charges are ever included with the rate.' 2) The receptionist (Ebony) on Tuesday night directly called my room at 10:30pm - which I feel is kinda late - and requested I come down to reception just so they could scan my credit card for incidentals because for whatever reason, the Sunday receptionist didn't do it correctly. 3) I ordered food from the restaurant and was told to come back in 15 min to pick it up. 5 min after coming back to my room, the reception called (Ebony again) to say the food is ready and do I want it delivered to my room. I said, 'Sure!' and after 30 min it never arrived. When I called to check the status, I was told the server somehow thought I was on another floor and that maybe he left it outside the door. The receptionist than suggested that I go up there myself and just pick up the food of the floor if I find it. When I said, 'Wait you want me to find my own food on the floor?' She replied by saying, 'Oh would you like me do it?' Since I felt she was approaching it like it would be a favor, I said I'd do it myself. The food was not there. When I went back to the restaurant, my food had been there all the time. The restaurant even said that no one is allowed to do room service because of Covid. Needless to say, my food was cold. 4) The take-out boxes from the food and water bottles in the recylcing bin were placed there on a Tuesday night and were not removed when I came back from a full day of work. On the good side, the food at the restaurant was actually pretty good (even cold!) and the guys at the valet were very helpful, professional, and polite. Still, I've asked my company not to book me here again.

This is one of the loudest hotels I have ever been to! There is a nonstop train all day and night. There is outdoor concerts. There is paper thin walls where you can hear everything in the other rooms. Then for the high price, there is no food. No room service. No vending machines. Only a small section near check in. Since the hotel was sold out the day we went, the food selection was wiped out. The hotel workers were very rude. I texted for our car like the directions said and got a response. Waited 30 mins and still no car, they never got the car. So we had to wait another 30 mins. The place was very unprofessional and I would not recommend. Not for $400 a night.

absolutely disgusted by experience last night with hotel staff. I am a disabled guy recovering from a stroke that left me paralyzed on half my body. I was visiting a friend who was staying at the property and parked on the handicap space in front of hotel. after 8 years of rehab, last night was first night I was going out without my cane, so having that handicap space is key for me to proceed. once I got to lobby, the guard stopped me and told me I couldn't park there and will be towed.my physical deficits are obvious to anyone around me as I have a very pronounced limp. I informed him I was visiting guest at hotel and my parking pass allows me to park in the handicap space, he kept at me telling me I was will be towed at which time i'm now just pisssed. I reiterated tgat I am legally parked in a handicap space and no one better touch my car. when my friend came to get me in lobby, we asked for the hotel manager which was not available. this man continued to chase us yelling your car will be towed. finally through pure aggregation and attack I said to him, if you tow my car I will sue this hotel. he responded back " that's what everyone says but no one ever does" Really that's your response? as my friend snd I walked outside to go to dinner, he chased us down the sidewalk threatening us. finally I turned and said, fine , what's your solution? he said there's a handicap spot on the second floor. begrudgingly I got in my car to move it snd quickly found out why he wanted to me to move. he wanted me to go in the garage and pay for parking. after I parked on second floor I walked through lobby where the girl at front desk apologized. A handicapped spot is available in front of every business to make it easier for people like me to participate in life. the treatment I received and the badgering I endured was insensitive and disgusting. thehotel itself is beautiful but it will never return nor recommended anyone else does if hotel management isn't training their team on service and sensitivity would you really want to stay there?

Best new spot in town, great views, good food, firepits are cool, good overall ambiance and bar. Great service, Arelis served us and did a wonderful job, don't forgot to make reservations!

I was walking today (7/24/22) at around noon time in the lobby area. I was walking into the AC Marriott hotel building to get back to my room and I stumble upon a security guard hired by the hotel yelling at a disabled veteran. It was disgusting to see and he was clearly discriminating. Action should be taken and the management clearly didn't even take a single action to protect this veteran that was being discriminated against by the security guard after supposedly parking in a handicap spot that wasn't for anyone to park in? It was absolutely stupid to see the hotel allow this type of discriminatory behavior and the building should be sued for literally blocking off and threatening to tow handicap cars that park there. It is ILLEGAL to block off handicap parking spots to anyone that is handicap like what! I was disgusted as a hotel guest and I feel so bad for the people who were affected as they didn't get any consolation, compensation, or even an APOLOGY!

Came to the rooftop personal are not friendly was waiting to get a spot to get a drink they asked me not to ask for drink even when I didn't talk to anyone I was just sitting waiting for my wait list to get call. No bartender and they acted like they don't know what they doing not recommend to come if you want a quick drink really disappointed cuz the rooftop is beautiful.

I have always been and always will be a Marriott member and I will always stay at their hotels. I was extremely disappointed when I came to this hotel. I came for a funeral and we had a few small issues such as only one elevator working and a broken thermostat. We waited over 45 minutes for a car to be received from valet. When we went and asked the general manager about these issues he said that we had two options we could either leave the property immediately or he would call the police on me. I know this sounds like I'm exaggerating but unfortunately I am not . I have spent hundreds of nights in Marriott hotels I have never had this happen to me and I really recommend against staying at that hotel the management staff is absolutely ineffective and repulsively mean. The general manager is a terrible human being. He needs to be fired. They also say there are three different restaurants but they are not and they are all the same restaurant in the same exact area. They are very unhelpful and not transparent about this hotel. Hotel is actually only a few floors the rest of the building does not belong to Marriot. The general staff is great but the management team is so bad that if I owned this hotel they would be immediately fired. I didn't think I could get any more sad after burying my aunt but I was wrong because when I returned and I asked why it took 45 minutes for the valet to the general manager he told me I was wrong and that he was going to call the police so a great cherry on top. I never say anything aggressive. I have worked in hotels and I have respect for the service industry, but I cannot understand for the life of me why Marriot has a general manager who actively threatens guests with police officers.

The only reason I am giving this hotel 2 stars is because it is clean and I value cleanliness above everything. We checked in and the staff promised to have our luggage in our room by the time we came back from the skybar (inside the hotel). We go to our room, no luggage. My husband had to wait 40 minutes because they couldn't find it anywhere. Next day I called for ibuprofen or acetaminophen for a minor headache and a extra towel they promised they would bring it up they never did. Then we called the lobby so the valet could have our car ready by the time we were downstairs. We get downstairs about 20 min later and no car, we inquired and they said we should've texted as they don't do that via phone calls but no one ever instructed us that on the phone. Asked for management multiple times and they tokd us they were never available. Needless to say we checked out a night before we had to when I mentioned all of this to the front desk person checking me out she was apologetic but didn't offer anything to make it up or even tried to change my mind about checking out. It almost felt like she didn't care. If I ever have to stay in Downtown Orlando I would stay practically at any hotel including a Motel 6 because even they have given me better service than this.

Stopped by the Skybar to have an after dinner martini about 845pm last night on the patio. We were seated on the couches at the very end of the patio by Jackie and told that a server would be right with us. After waiting for 20 minutes with no one coming over to take our order I go back to the hostess stand and tell Jackie that no one has come by to take our drink order yet. Jackie asks the server that was suppose to be taking care of us something and she just shrugs her shoulders and walked away. So Jackie says she will be right there. So I go back to the table and wait. At 9:11pm we finally get a drink order placed, 2 espresso martinis. I ask if there is any cream in the espresso martini since I can't have dairy. She doesn't know and goes to check with the bar. She returns and says it is just vodka, espresso and simple syrup. I say perfect add a little Kahlua to one and Baileys to the other. We wait for another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, by this point we had contemplated just walking out. Finally at 9:28pm we get our drinks delivered (mind you we arrived at 8:45pm) and Jackie does Thank us for our patience. By this point we just want to go so I give her my credit card to pay the tab. When I go to sign the bill and realize she had up charged me an additional $8.50 each for the extra liquor per martini making it $20.50 per drink. It was served in a small 3oz coupe martini glass that was not even full. I have no problem paying an up charge for the extra alcohol but felt that this was a bit excessive and should have been disclosed prior to being charged. I was going to ask a staff member about the up charge but no one ever came back by to check on us. I tried waving at a few other staff members to get their attention and they just looked down and walked away. Jackie was the only person besides the security guard to even acknowledge us on our visit. When we left the security guard on the first floor asked how it was. I told him "it sucked" and he said it was a meeting place for business deals and not a hang out locals spot. The beautiful view did not make up for the lack of service and overpriced drinks. If you go here don't expect much in the realm of service and be ready to be price gouged.

The SkyBar is a 10/10 must visit spot in Orlando. Hannah at the bar is an absolute pleasure and made our after work drinks amazing!! We will definitely be back!

New Hotel. Friendly Staff....horrible location; over priced and understaffed. Looking for some place that was at least relatively quiet....should have known when we got to the room --"complementary earplugs." Are you kidding me? An LED light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling; we had to call engineering because could not get safe unlocked; no drawer space, small closet space (this was one of the nicer corner rooms)....we were on 23rd floor and the exterior noice of cars and train were pretty much deafening. Cannot believe Marriott chose to build a hotel here. Will never stay here again.
