Terrible service - over an hour waiting for appetizer. Oversalted food. Kitchen couldn’t barely cook a proper Carbonara - completely over salted, had to be sent back. I have no idea how this place can be called an Italian restaurant. Disgusting. Avoid like the plague. Place is disgrace. Above it all , super overpriced.

It is always a pleasure to be pampered here and to enjoy the excellent Italian cuisine as well as the attentive and professional service. Both the current daily specials and the dishes on the menu are top-notch. Everything is always just right.

Beautifully presented dishes, delicately prepared. The mixed salad was pretty much as expected, the traditional salad items all represented. The "Doppelte Ravioli gefüllt mit frischer Burrata,und Tomaten" was truly excellent however. Fresh pasta, the filling was rich and moist, and the parmesan sauce understated, adding just the right depth to the dish. Not five stars though. Although our party clearly indicated that we were mostly vegetarian, the amuse bouche was chicken (though quickly replaced with an alternative), and I also felt that with plenty of traditional items on the menu, there was space for a little more innovation or excitement. Would happily return, and would be an excellent choice for any small group looking for traditional high quality food.

Every dish exceeded our expectations, as they are very tasty and fulfilling! Special thanks to the very attentive staff, including Valentin Ivan who was very patient and friendly! Cannot wait to come back

What a wonderful restaurant. The place itself is super relaxing and inviting. The staff was very professional. The food was excellent and generous in portion sizes. The highlight was the Carpaccio, possibly the best I'v ever had.

I managed to eat there twice in one day and was never dissapointed: awesome meat dishes, including mushroom beef fillet and ossobucco. Very professional, attentive and friendly staff and good winelist & digestives. I tracked this place for quite a while and finally got a very positive impression. Good for any occasion- from business lunch to romantic dinner. But better book in advance!

Food is nice, but incredibly overpriced. Place is nice too but feels like a decadent old Italian hotel. Staff is professional and in point. Try once and then decide

Good food, although a bit more Swiss than Italian. A bit stingy on the quantity of a glass of wine. Service was okay, but not very warm

The food was pretty good. My friend had liver dish and said it was one of the best liver dish in town. Scallop appetizer comes with 4 scallops over pea purée .. Not sure if it's worth the price. Seafood pasta was good but not the best I've had. Service was good but not the friendliest or attentive. Only wine available. Servers speak little English. PS: if you want bread, ask for it. They have decent warm bread :-)

Sometimes the menu gets the point across better than the comparatives and superlatives I could choose myself. We stopped in Accademia del Gusto last night, and enjoyed: A little champagne (Louis Roederer, Vintage 2006) A glass of red (Amarone classico, L`Anima di Vergani) Amuse-bouche: Quinoa & speck salad Cream soup Tuna Tartar (Tatar di tonno sul letto di rucola e finocchi con chips di patate) Artichokes on a bed of arugula Veal piccata with lemon sauce (Piccata di filetto di vitello con salsa al limone) Veal liver, Venice style (Fegato di vitello alla veneziana) Mashed potatoes Grilled market vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, and fennel) Zabaglione with fresh fuit Torta Saint Honorè « Accademia » Decaf cappuccino Decaf coffee Absolutely spectacular!

One of the best dining experiences I've had here In Zurich. Only thing that could have improved the experience would have been the company! Absolutely adding Accademia del Gusto to my recommendation list for the city.

This place is good even by the high Swiss standards. An excellent selection of top class ingredients, flawless execution, authentic Italian, combined with a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Adding very good service on top of it, it's a five star kind of experienced

The service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Especially the fresh truffles was delicious. Unfortunately, the extremely high quality of the food is directly reflected in the prices.

Food was excellent. Service very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. I had meat with mushrooms and it was cooked perfectly.
