We had a delicious dinner here our first night in Sorrento. It is a fancier restaurant, slightly towards the higher end in presentation and prices, but the pasta and appetizer we ordered to share were also delicious. We booked an earlier time for dinner so it wasn't crowded when we arrived. Service was good and we did not wait have to wait long for our food. Overall we had a nice dining experience here.

Accento deserves a Michelin Star! I'd take an international flight or a cross-country train ride just to eat at this amazing restaurant. I first discovered Accento 2 1/2 years ago on a trip with friends. The owner, Lucca, and Francesca treated us like family. They even gave us our favorite bottle of wine as a parting gift on our last night in Sorrento. Years later, I returned with my own family. They treated my sons kindly, and the food continues to be Michelin Star quality. The wine list is superb, the presentation is artistic, and the ambiance perfect. Don't miss Accento. It will be the best reservation you make during your Italian adventure.

One of the best dining experiences in Sorrento. The cod Croquettes is surprisingly nice. Almost like a crab cake but use cod instead. The tagliatelle with red prawn is also amazing. The pasta is perfectly al dente. We choose tuna and lamb rack for the main courses. I must admit this is probably the best sesame tuna I’ve had. The lamb is also very juicy and tender. We opened a bottle of local white wine which also goes very well with the seafood. Finished with a shot of nocino and limoncello. After all, a wonderful dining experience, especially if you could have a table outdoors watching the change of color of the street in the evening.

Google
It was a decent meal. I personally have a strong dislike for small portions of food. And Accento’s portions were medium, just enough for you to enjoy but not enough for you to fill up. Had the octopus for starter. I don’t think the pumpkin puree works well in the dish. The charcoal/smokiness of the octopus requires the company of something sour/fresh. The mildly sweet pumpkin didn’t do it for me. The squid ink gnocchi was delicious but the portion was just not enough for me. The capresse cake was a bit dry. Service was great.

Our favourite meal on our 10-day holiday! The food was the best we had and the service and ambience was great too. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about their food.

Google
Amazing people and great Italian food, especially sea food. I had a lobster pasta and my girlfriend had shrimp past - both delicious. Always try their seasonal items, the chef seems to really care for how it's prepared and presented. Space is a bit restricted so if you're in peak season it's best to reserve online.

Google
Amazing place to eat!! We stopped by late at night and were amazed by the food. Lovely people and lovely food. On the higher side of prices but everything had great flavor.

Yelp
We got to this restaurant late after a long trip from Miami. They accommodated 9 of us. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. We liked it so much that we returned once again before leaving Sorrento. I highly recommend this place and for sure will go back when we return to Sorrento in September.

Yelp
One of the few places on Sorrento that has amazing food! You won't be disappointed. Service: 10/10 Price : 10/10 Food: 10/10

Yelp
Made reservations for 7pm. Wanted to try some seafood while on the Amalfi coast. We chose the lobster linguine and seafood stew. I also got a limoncello spritz. The lobster linguine was nice, but wish it was a whole lobster rather than just half. The stew was more of a light broth, could have used more sauce which was good for dipping bread in. Both dishes were tasty and didn't feel heavy. The stew had a nice variety of seafood in it. I was expecting the restaurant to be a bit busier, but it turned out to be pretty quiet - maybe because it's pricier compared to other restaurants in the immediate area. Ambiance feels a little more on the elegant side.

Yelp
A lovely restaurant with wonderful staff. The food was delicious. We stayed in Sorrento 8 days and ate there 3 times. A definite favorite of Ours! Go and Enjoy!

Yelp
Wow. What an amazing experience. Great atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous and warm, I've never felt more comfortable trying to learn Italian and enunciations of words. Aside from that, the food was delicious, I don't remember the term in Italian but make it a point to try the lava cake. It might be odd, but I highly recommend the stuffed squid and started off with the caprese. After eating a lot of pasta, this place offers quite the diversity of meals. Please branch out and try something you haven't! Thank you to the staff. 100000/100000

Yelp
Found this restaurant through Yelp and it did not disappoint. My husband and I sat inside for dinner after a long and hot day climbing Mt. Vesuvius and wanted some fresh seafood. We both had the seafood sampler entree which included grilled octopus, squid, sea bass, tuna, prawns, and another prawn-like creature. They were all very tasty, particularly the octopus and squid. I've never been a huge octopus fan until Sorrento! Everything tasted very fresh and light- no heavy oil or seasoning- which I liked. Wait staff was very friendly- I found everyone in Sorrento to be extremely friendly! For dessert. I had their tiramisu, which was not great since it was more of a cookies and cream flavor with no amaretto-soaked ladies fingers that I am used to. I did enjoy the wine recommendation. The interior was very nice and the atmosphere seemed to have a casual/fine dining vibe. Pretty place and good food.

Yelp
Fresh seafood dishes here are fantastic! Get the grilled octopus as an appetizer, it is so tender and prepared simply with lemon. The fresh fish of the day was a light, white fish and it was also prepared simply with lemon, orange and some bread crumbs. I could eat it everyday! Friends had the pasta with local lobster, the ravioli, and a pasta with pistachio pesto and Everyone raved about their meals. Some of the preparations were new to us but hey, we don't live in Sorrento! They cook with what is local and in season so walnuts and pistachios show up in a lot of pasta dishes where as in the U.S. pesto is typically made with pine nuts. The food is upscale but the atmosphere is super casual. Basic wooden tables and chairs and some tables outside which is where we sat. Don't let that deter you! The food is fab!

Yelp
A hidden gem in a tourist town. My group needed a place to eat last minute and came across this restaurant. I got the caprese salad, bolognese, and we enjoyed a Castel Giocondo brunello. Everything I had was perfect. The bolognese seemed to be a hit. Not everyone at my table fully enjoyed their meal but overall we were very happy and pleased. The service was great, the team seemed happy and were on top of taking care of us. The vibes were nice and my favorite part was walking to the bathroom and seeing one of the chefs dancing at the end of the night... that's when you know your staff is happy. Thank you for a great meal!

Yelp
We absolutely loved Accento. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Our whole meal was very good and the dessert was to die for. Our favorite dinner on our trip.

Yelp
Most delicious food, service, & ambiance we had in Sorrento/ Amalfi. I love to boast about incredible finds like Accento! I enjoyed fish special with Amberjack, similar to standard menu item with sea bass, (cost was nearly the same no up sale here!). Spouse had pasta in wonderful pepper sauce. Thanks, yelpers, for sending us to this great find! I want ti yelp at the world about great restaurants like Accento!

Dayo O.

Yelp
We arrived for our dinner reservations prior to the evening rush, and the ambience was very welcoming! The food is exquisite, and the service is attentive! What more can you ask for!

Harold B.

Yelp
Our visit to Accento was nothing short of a delight. Even with a 9 month old baby along, we were welcomed and seated at a lovely table. The cocktails, the appetizer of cod balls, the primo of scialatielli with seafood, the Risotto with mixed seafood, the Chingale ragú , and the gnocchi Negra with baby clams and lemon zest...all delicioso. Insalata Mista, and a capo of ribeye steak with puree of pumpkin and baby new potatoes...Oh My! Oh, did I mention the Primitivo Di Mandaluria from Le Pitre? Great! If you come to Sorrento and you don't come here, you've missed something special! Molto Bene and Mille Graze!

Yelp
We had our first dinner while in Sorrento at this restaurant located on the main strip. We started off our dinner with the burrata, artichoke and cherry tomatoes appetizer. The cheese was ok, mild and creamy. We had two pastas for our main entrées and both really fell short for us. The boar ragù pasta I ordered was flavorful but it barely had any meat in it. My husband had the pasta with vongole which was served with a rather non traditional pistachio pesto. While we appreciated the innovation, the pesto didn't go that well with the clams, it didn't highlight or bring out the seafood flavor instead all we could taste was the pesto. The best dish from our entire meal however was the whole fish which we ordered cooked all'acqua pazza. It was so moist, tender and juicy. We definitely enjoyed it and couldn't get enough of it. It was one of the best fish dishes we had while on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially in helping us select the wines to pair with our food, however they were a bit slow to come and take our order perhaps because they got so busy and a bit overwhelmed with the volume of people that came in to the restaurant soon after us.

Yelp
Excellent! Loved the whole experience at this establishment. Service was outstanding, menu hs a lot of great options. Wine list is solid and affordable. Had the Bolognese, had the Bronzino, both were dynamite! Stay away from some of the trendy pics in Sorento and check this place out. You will NOT be disappointed!

Yelp
The head waiter at our hotel recommended Accento and it did not disappoint... wonderful service and food. Arrived a little early and got an outside table to watch people strolling by. Enjoyed the cacio pepe and truffles, lobster linguini and branzino as well as recommended wine. Dessert was tasty and lemoncello to cap the evening. Service was attentive and friendly. Def recommend and would go back next time in Sorrento.

Yelp
My daughter and I love this place! Best food on our Italy trip. Slightly pricy but great quality and decent sized portions (if not "American" style). Highly recommend.

Yelp
Deeeelicious. Definitely try this is you're in Sorrento! The service was a bit...European lol...but the food was amazing. Worth the snobbery!

Yelp
Hands down our favorite restaurant in Sorrento. We've been here twice on our short trip. The pistachio pasta was amazing as well as the ragu, oysters, wine etc. the staff was welcoming. Definitely recommend

Yelp
By far our favorite place in Sorrento! Accento Was recommended to us during a food tour in Rome and more than lived up to the recommendation. We went twice during our five day stay. The menu, the food itself, and the people are superb. We will remember our meals for years to come.

Yelp
After so many disappointing meals in Sorrento finally a restaurant that knows what they are doing! Excellent food, excellent service, I couldn't recommend this place high enough.

Yelp
Went here on my honeymoon and it was very enjoyable. We ordered champagne and the staff was attentive and made sure to keep our glasses full, and they were probably the most personable waiters we had on our trip. The food was delicious, the lamb we ordered was my favorite of the trip, including time in Greece. My wife ordered seafood pasta and was pleased with her choice. The only downside is the atmosphere but that's only relative to surrounding restaurants that had more unique set ups but on its own it was still pleasant, even if not as charming as some of the competition. We saw a few reviews saying it felt like a tourist trap but we didn't feel that way.

Yelp
This spot was recommended to us by our hotel concierge at Boutique Helios. We opted for outside patio seating to people watch along the main drag. The wait staff was very professional and courteous, they checked up on us frequently, but in a manner that was not intrusive. The grilled octopus appetizer was incredible, with a bell pepper puree that paired beautifully. I also had the fettuccine with clams, very light on the sauce, but excellent in flavor. My wife also had the tortellini which was stuffed with shrimp, and served in a delicious pumpkin sauce with roasted tomatoes. Only the first stop on our four night stay, but definitely a must try for anyone visiting Sorrento!

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants in Sorrento! It may look like a regular place to eat but after you taste the food you will be back! Everything was very good and fresh. We are definitely coming back tomorrow. The service also great and they're all so nice!

Jack C.

Yelp
Just absolutely amazing in every single way. Seafood risotto will be the best you ever have in your life. Super kind staff. Great ambiance. Cannot go wrong ordering anything. You will not leave disappointed. You will be wowed.

Yelp
We stopped in for a beer and a quick bite to recharge from a pretty long morning in Pompeii. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, never pushy and helped us choose just what we were looking for. The meat and cheese plate was very good, but the fresh buffalo mozzarella was the star. Along with the most amazing cherry tomatoes it was just amazing. We sucked it up and got a basket of bread which could have been better but was mandatory for what we ordered. What a lucky find while walking through Sorrento. If you're looking for good food and drinks stop in.

Yelp
Excellent. Completely blown away by this place. They speak English/Italian. For a dinner seating they start at 1900. We reserved a table for Easter Dinner. The food was AMAZING. The beef - fantastic. The seafood - SO GOOD OMG! Great wine selection. Good layout. It's on the Main Street, and gets busy/loud; however, the front doors are solid/heavy and cut out the noise instantly. Clean and inviting. The staff - knowledgeable about the food and wine. Genuinely nice, and friendly. They are great with kids. It's a family resultant atmosphere, but a place you could put on a date to without kiddos as well. When staying in Sorrento this is a place we will be going to back to, not only to enjoy the food, but the atmosphere, and the staff. GO, GO, and GO.

Yelp
We arrived in Sorrento and got a recommendation from our hotel to visit Accento. We went down for dinner on our first night and ended up eating there for another 2 nights during our stay. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was even better - so nice and welcoming and made us feel like family! We don't speak any Italian and they made everything so easy for us to order and give us recommendations. We tried the mussels, grilled shrimp, fish soup, prosciutto and melon, raviolis and all the desserts. Everything was absolutely amazing. On our last night they even brought us Limoncello and cheese with our desserts. We cannot say enough about this amazing restaurant. Definitely make sure this is part of your stay!! Highly recommended!!

Yelp
Excellent restaurant. Fresh ingredients and they care about the food ... very tasty and one of the best in Sorento..impressed with service

Ken G.

Yelp
The first friendly restaurant we encountered on this trip to Italy. For lunch, we settled for a plate of Spaghetti alle vongole, an octopus salad, two glasses of red wine ( generous pour ) and a serving of panna cotta for desert. Everything we had were outstanding and I would judge the best lunch we had so far by a mile. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, not like in other restaurants we visited where they seem to resent our presence and insisted that we leave some tip. I would highly recommend this place for quality food, friendly atmosphere, very reasonable price and clean facility.

Yelp
Go Here!! Unassuming modern spot (established 2017(?)) w excellent food (everything coming out of kitchen looked delicious!) and really friendly//helpful staff (especially w wine selection, although can never go wrong w house vino en Italy.) We had raviolo prawns & pumpkin puree & chef choice white fish with orange tempura coating & endive side mix.) Good limoncello n cannolo for dessert too!! One of our best meals yet...

Yelp
Very good place for dinner. Staff were super helpful and nice. 1/2 bottle wine selection was limited but the bottle recommended by our waiter was quite good. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had the linguine with clams, mussels, and shrimp which had a rich buttery sauce and was tasty. The ziti with wild boar sauce was good as well but the least favorite for us. The pasta with mushroom sauce was rich and full of excellent flavor, easily our favorite. We then had the baked salmon with potato crust which was also good but the roast half chicken was great. Deboned and crisped but juicy. So good. We also had the grilled vegetables as a side. For 4 of us (2 kids) the above along with 2 ginger ales which were also quite good with a slight hint of lemon, a bottle of water, and a 1/2 bottle of wine which cost $12 Eusos ad a cover charge of $2 Euros per person, dinner was $108.50 Euros. So in summary, great place for dinner, great for kids but also for a romantic dinner. Staff and service were excellent and food was delicious. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the limited 1/2 bottle selection of wines.

Cristina B.

Yelp
Very good food and quality, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommended. Menu is local with a little twist, for example spaghetti alle vongole come with pistachio pesto, delicious! Limoncello at end of your meal is on the house. Great service too.

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic Italian food in Sorrento, look no further than Accento! Despite what you might believe based on its location on the main street, this is a delightfully down to earth restaurant. The interior is sleek and modern but the food is prepared in traditional, southern Italian ways. My wife and I ordered the fried cod with lemon as an appetizer and it might be the best fried fish I have ever had!! The service was fantastic all night with many recommendations on local wines and other places to visit to avoid the large tourist crowds. My only regret is we didn't find this restaurant until our last night in Sorrento!!!

Laura V.

Yelp
Fantastic experience & food while visiting Sorrento! We enjoyed talking to the owner & you can tell he loves food & wine & everything we ordered was fantastic!
google avatar

Travis G.

Yelp
Stopped in here for lunch during a cruise excursion from Naples. It was myself, my wife, her parents, and our 5 year old. The waiter was very attentive, friendly, and helpful! There were only 2 other guests there while we dined so he wasn't busy, but he still impressed us with his service. The food was great too! We each got something different and all enjoyed it. The place was clean, including the restroom. Overall we wish we had been in Sorrento longer than a few hours so we could dine there again! If we ever get back we hope this restaurant is still there!
google avatar

Rosie F.

Yelp
Stay away from this tourist trap. Everything in this place is artificial, from the ambiance to the food. Every dish seemed to be microwaved or reheated aka NOT fresh. The "seared tuna" was almost completely cooked and seemed chewy. The eggplant Parmesan has bites that were cold while others were smoking hot (microwaved? I think so). we ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce which was floating in a pile of bean puree aka baby food mush. Again, not hot. Part way through the main course, my partner and I looked at each other and started laughing bc it was SO bad. Also very expensive, and clearly not worth it. We still joke about the meal we ate here to make light of what a terrible experience it was.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
The mussels with tomato and garlic were very good. The other dishes were horrible. The zito ragu with boar was a frozen microwave dinner with large chunks of boar. I can always finish a dish even if I don't care for it but could barely touch this. The waiter shrugged that they will work on the description in menu.

Rob M.

Yelp
We have been in Sorrento two day and this by far was our best meal! There was 5 of us and the service was great. Everything from the bread through to the meals and dessert were top notch! I had the lobster and pasta and the waiter suggested Linguini with it and was a good call. Crusted salmon and prawn tortellini were the other meals and all of us were satisfied. For dessert we share a tiramisu and 2 berry cheesecakes(started with one and asked for a 2nd)!! Full value for the entire meal and a great modern feel in the restaurant. I would highly recommend.
google avatar

Vince W.

Yelp
My wife and I are considered snobs by our friends, because we are very picky about our food. We have been to Italy multiple times, mostly to enjoy real Italian cuisine, but it can be hard in the tourist areas. Accento is the real deal. Their food is slow-cooked magic on a plate. From their preparation on steak to their local fish dishes, we were thoroughly impressed. Luca, one of the owners, is passionate about local wine and southern Italian ingredients. You will enjoy every bite. We went multiple nights in our few days in town. If the seasons is right, try their shrimp and pumpkin ravioli. I never thought those flavors could work together. It was perfectly balanced and extremely creative.
google avatar

Yelp
Eat. Here. Now. We are wary of restaurants in tourist-oriented cities on such a tourist oriented street, but we were delightfully blown away by Accènto! Do not skip this place. It is an easy walk from the taxi/shuttle point by the arch, and we plan to go back. Wish we'd discovered it sooner during our stay. We went in for a simple lunch, tempted by the bean soup on a cool rainy day, and we decided instead to make lunch our main meal that day based on the menu, which boasts amazing choices in both seafood for this seaside city and meats for the meat lovers. The bean soup was exactly the Mama's comfort food we craved to warm us up, and the tomatoes on the veal exploded with flavor. We experienced other good meals in Sorrento, but this was far and above with a decidedly different feel. Decor is modern, clean, streamlined, light and bright, with attentive waitstaff. Bathrooms were very clean, and if you are there with kids there is a changing table for the bambini or high chairs also available.
google avatar

Antonino C.

Yelp
Fresh food, accurate service, amazing wine list, located in the heart of Sorrento!! This is one of the best spot in the city! Try to believe!
google avatar

Lawrence G.

Yelp
Accènto was one of the best meals of my entire 15-day trip throughout Naples, Ischia, the Amalfi Coast, and Salerno. The pasta and seafood were are phenomenal, the decor is welcoming and well-done, and the service is excellent. Waiters were attentive, professional, and patients - ours even took the time to help us plan a remaining portion of our trip! You cannot go wrong with anything at this restaurant - stick with seafood and the usual Campanian coastal fare, and I guarantee that you will have a memorable meal.

Dd N.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant specializing in local cuisine. Terrific service from knowledgeable staff. Nicely designed space.
google avatar

Anna Z.

Yelp
an intimate setting with outstanding food, and friendly service. the portions are generous, which makes everything good for sharing.

Alli S.

Yelp
Our experience at Accento was just ok! It was reasonably priced, but the food took a long time to arrive. The salad was very wilted and not good. The meat dishes were pretty good.

C J.

Yelp
Had the most amazing grilled seafood....pieces of branzino, tuna and salmon, two large prawns and a six-inch calamari...beautifully, tenderly cooked, fresh-tasting...no sauces, just the flavor of perfectly prepared seafood. Served with thin slices of grilled vegetables with apparently great olive oil and salt. Absolutely the best food that I have had in Sorrento. Opened just after I was here last year. Heading back this week...maybe tomorrow...

Aaron C.

Yelp
Fantastic italia food. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Sorrento area. Great service and ambiance.

Jay M.

Yelp
Multiple visits here covering both a lunch and dinner. Perfect variety of lighter and more substantial choices of authentic Italian. Great staff in a fresh new interior. Less touristy as a bonus!

Claude C.

Yelp
Great people, Luca guided us through the menu expertly. Local spot. Food & prices were very good. Generous portions. Go for a truly great experience.
