Accursio Radici

One of our favourite meals in Sicily - everything was delicious. Service felt like a bit of a patchwork as there was nobody assigned to our table so it was tricky to get anyone’s attention. Despite this - the food and sitting outside on the steps, we really enjoyed our evening here.

We came with high expectations, knowing that the restaurant is owned by michelin star chef Accursio. The menue was very nice, right amount of dishes,not too many. We chose three different appetizers, two main dishes and Tiramisu as dessert. Appetizers were all very nice and delicious. Unfortunately the Spaghetti fritti were quite boring, nothing special. The tuna fish was very nice, fried to the point👌🏼 The Tiramisu didn‘t have the creamy texture, which I prefer+the taste of alcohol was a bit too much. Unfortunately the service was very bad for such a restaurant. Not observing, not welcoming the guests, the kindness was missing, never asked if everything was ok, not asking if we would like to have more water or wine…A bit disappointing experience.

The food and the atmosphere were a great experience. The traditional Sicilian cuisine is implemented at a very high level and every course was excellent. Very good price/performance ratio. In addition to the two interior rooms, there is also a small terrace. The staff are very courteous and provide a lot of hospitality.

We had an amazing lunch experience here. Very attentive staff, great wine pairings, delicious food and a tranquil atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone passing through Modica - casual fine dining at its best 👌

A wonderful restaurant. We got the arancini as a starter, followed by the bottarga pasta and the rabbit. Everything was so delicious. The waiter was also very knowledgeable about the food, the wine etc… He told us about the local production which was so interesting to hear. Location is also beautiful, just on the steps of one of the main churches in Modica. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience! We have returned here for fantastoc food. Service could be little bit more attentive, but it was still nice experience. Highly recommend.

Nice location. Reasonably priced but actually was forgettable despite its reputation. This was the only restaurant of our trip we sought out and booked. However, we found it to be underwhelming. Service felt very rushed and uncaring (no explanation of menu or each dish) - the exception to this was the sommelier - who was engaging and warm. Food was a mixed bag. The Cannolo and the wine were the highlights.
