"Accursio Craparo from the nearby Michelin-starred Accursio restaurant is the chef at the helm at Radici. In two simple yet elegant dining rooms, he serves more traditional and authentically Sicilian cuisine than at Accursio, offering guests the opportunity to sample dishes created by a great chef at a reasonable price." - Michelin Inspector

We didn’t find this restaurant online but discovered it the day before while passing by. The atmosphere was truly wonderful and very romantic, we sat outdoors in the middle of the stairs, right next to the Church. The presentation and flavors of the dishes were good, with nice attention to detail. The food was fine, meeting a basic standard, though I felt the prices were a bit high, probably because of the prime location. The service was okay, only lacked a bit of warmth.

We loved the place, atmosphere, the food, and the view. The dessert was amazing, and being able to get a gluten-free option really made a difference. The chef even made us a gluten-free Pasta Frittata - that’s actually why we came in the first place. Thank you

Ridiculously good lunch. Funky furniture and simple but stylish decor. Food is great, love the fish dishes but the porccetta is amazing. (Just lose the 1980s glass dinner plates)

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The prosecco was crisp and refreshing — the perfect start to an evening where everything felt just right. The atmosphere struck a flawless balance between elegance and warmth, perfectly suited to the setting. The location itself is stunning, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive or welcoming. As for the food — the tuna was beautifully seared and full of flavour, while the rabbit was tender, rich, and cooked to absolute perfection. A truly memorable meal in every sense.

This was one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had in a long time. We had made a reservation via Michelin and they offered us the absolutely worst table in the place, stuck in a corner in an airless entryway. After I complained, they somehow managed to find us a good table outside, with lovely views of the city. The staff was running around, working hard, but with no direction. They took forever to take our order, did not bring us the wine until we had practically finished our first course, etc. But the biggest disappointment was the food itself. I ordered gazpacho with croquettes and there was hardly any soup, just 4 big cheesy breadballs. For thee main course, they were out of the fish rolls and substituted a tiny slice of fried fish — only the small tail portion. It was breaded and had bones and amounted to about 4 bites once deboned. My husband’s pasta with shrimp and pistachios was swimming in a red sauce. Very unappealing. I don’t know how this place got a Michelin mention. I’ve had better food in far simpler places.

Very good restaurant. The dishes are based on ingredients from the Sicilian tradition, they resemble family-style cooking but more elevated and refined. The polpette di triglia (sadly not pictured as they were gone way too soon) were some of the nicest food I've had and the caponata was excellent. The location is nice, just like the menu it has a bit of a homey feel, an elegant and refined home. The service was good, in particular the lady wearing glasses was exceptionally kind and helpful.

A beautiful Sicilian experience! The food and wine were excellent. The restaurant is set up as smaller rooms that feel as if you are in a family dining room. It really emphasised the intention of roots. So well done.

We came quite late, shortly before the kitchen closed, so maybe that played a role, but overall the experience wasn’t great. The pasta fritta tasted of old oil, was slightly burnt and didn’t sit well in the stomach. The Cotoletta di Melanzana con Tenerumi had an odd consistency – the eggplant was watery, the tenerumi tough, and both lacked almost any flavor. Wine by the glass was surprisingly expensive (10–15€). That said, the restaurant itself looks beautiful, with a lovely interior and outdoor area.
